   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterנִצְדַּקְנוּnits/dak/NUwe were justifiedבָאֱמוּנָהva/e/mu/NAby faithשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceלָנוּLA/nuwe haveעִם־הָאֱלֹהִיםim-ha/e/lo/HIMwith Godבַּאֲדֹנֵינוּba/a/do/NE/nuthrough our LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

   Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

   אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoבְּיָדוֹbe/ya/DOby his handמָצָאנוּma/TSA/nuwe have foundבָאֱמוּנָהva/e/mu/NAby faithגַּם־מְבוֹאgam-me/VOalso entranceהַחֶסֶדha/CHE/sedthe graceהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweעֹמְדִיםom/DIMstandוְנִשְׂמַחve/nis/MACHand rejoiceבְּתִקְוַתbe/tik/VATin the hope ofכְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

   By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

   וְלֹא־זֹאתve/LO-zotand not soלְבַדle/VADonlyכִּיkibutגַּם־נִתְהַלֵּלgam-nit/hal/LELwe glory alsoבַּצָּרוֹתbats/tsa/ROTin troublesוְיָדַעְנוּve/ya/DA/nuand we knowכִּי־הַצָּרָהki-hats/tsa/RAthat troubleמְבִיאָהme/vi/AbringsאֹרֶךְO/rekhthe patience ofרוּחַ׃RU/achspirit

   And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

   וְאֹרֶךְve/O/rekhand the patience ofהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe spiritאֶת־הַבֹּחַןet-hab/bo/CHANthe testingוְהַבֹּחַןve/hab/BO/chanand the testingאֶת־הַתִּקְוָה׃et-hat/tik/VAhope

   And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

   וְהַתִּקְוָהve/hat/tik/VAand hopeלֹאlonotתָבִישׁta/VISHputs to shameכִּיkibecauseהוּצְקָהhuts/KAhas been poured outבִּלְבָבֵנוּbil/va/VE/nuin our heartsאַהֲבַתa/ha/VATthe love ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEbyרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁRU/ach-Hak/KO/deshthe Holy Spiritהַנִּתָּןhan/nit/TANthat is givenלָנוּ׃LA/nuto us

   And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

   כִּיkiforהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahבְּעוֹדֵנוּbe/o/de/NUwhile we were stillחַלָּשִׁיםchal/la/SHIMweakמֵתmetdiedבְּעִתּוֹbe/it/TOin its timeבְּעַדbe/ADforהָרְשָׁעִים׃ha/re/sha/IMthe wicked

   For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

   כִּיkiforלֹאlonotבִמְהֵרָהvim/he/RAquicklyיָמוּתya/MUTwill dieאִישׁisha manבְּעַדbe/ADforהַצַּדִּיקhats/tsad/DIKthe righteousאַךְakhbutאוּלַיu/LAYperhapsיִשָּׂאֵהוּyis/sa/E/huwould carry himלִבּוֹlib/BOhis heartלָמוּתla/MUTto dieבְּעַדbe/ADforהַטּוֹב׃hat/TOVthe good

   For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

   וּבָזֹאתu/va/ZOTand in thisהוֹדִיעַho/DI/ahas made knownהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodאֶת־אַהֲבָתוֹet-a/ha/va/TOHis loveאֵלֵינוּe/LE/nuto usאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahמֵתmetdiedבַּעֲדֵנוּba/a/DE/nufor usוַאֲנַחְנוּva/a/NACH/nuwhile weעוֹדodwere stillחַטָּאִים׃chat/ta/IMsinners

   But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

   אַףafmuchכִּיkimoreעַתָּהat/TAnowאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנִצְדַּקְנוּnits/dak/NUwe have been justifiedבְּדָמוֹbe/da/MOby his bloodנִוָּשַׁעniv/va/SHAwe shall be savedבּוֹbothrough himמִן־הַקָּצֶף׃min-hak/KA/tseffrom the wrath

   Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

    כִּיkiforאִםimifהִתְרַצִּינוּhit/rats/tsi/NUwe were reconciledלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godבְּמוֹתbe/MOTby the death ofבְּנוֹbe/NOHis Sonבִּהְיוֹתֵנוּbih/yo/TE/nuwhen we wereאֹיְבִיםoy/VIMenemiesאַףafmuch moreכִּי־נִוָּשַׁעki-niv/va/SHAwill we be savedעַתָּהat/TAnowבְּחַיָּיוbe/chay/YAYVby his lifeאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterהִתְרַצּוֹתֵנוּ׃hit/rats/tso/te/NUreconciled

    For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

    וְלֹא־זֹאתve/LO-zotand not soלְבַדle/VADonlyכִּיkibutגַּם־שְׂמֵחִיםgam-se/me/CHIMalso joyאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweבֵּאלֹהִיםbe/lo/HIMin Godעַל־יַדal-yadthroughאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatבּוֹbothrough himעַתָּהat/TAnowקִבַּלְנוּkib/bal/NUwe receivedאֶת־הַכַּפָּרָה׃et-hak/kap/pa/RAthe atonement

    And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEbyאָדָםa/DAMmanאֶחָדe/CHADoneבָּאbacameהַחֵטְאha/CHETsinלָעוֹלָםla/o/LAMinto the worldוְהַמָּוֶתve/ham/MA/vetand deathעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEbyהַחֵטְאha/CHETsinוְכֵןve/KHENand soעָבַרa/VARpassedהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetdeathעַל־כׇּל־בְּנֵיal-kol-be/NEon all the sons ofאָדָםa/DAMmanמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecauseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatכֻּלָּםkul/LAMall of themחָטָאוּ׃cha/TA/uhave sinned

    Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

    כִּיkiforעַדaduntilהַתּוֹרָהhat/to/RAthe lawהָיָהha/YAwasחֵטְאchetsinבָּעוֹלָםba/o/LAMin the worldאַךְakhbutלֹאlonotיֵחָשֵׁבye/cha/SHEVis countedחֵטְאchetsinבְּאֵיןbe/ENwhere there is noתּוֹרָה׃to/RAlaw

    (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

14. 14

    אוּלָםu/LAMbutמָלַךְma/LAKHreignedהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetdeathמֵאָדָםme/A/DAMfrom Adamעַד־מֹשֶׁהad-Mo/SHEuntil Mosesגַּםgamalsoעַל־אֲשֶׁרal-a/SHERover those whoלֹאlonotחָטְאוּcha/te/Usinnedבִּדְמוּתbid/MUTin the likeness ofפֶּשַׁעPE/shathe transgression ofאָדָםA/DAMAdamאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהוּאhuisתַבְנִיתtav/NITthe figure ofהַבָּא׃hab/BAthe one to come

    Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

15. 15

    אֲבָלa/VALbutלֹאlonotכַפֶּשַׁעkhap/PE/shaas the transgressionהַמַּתָּנָהham/mat/ta/NAis the giftכִּיkiforאִםimifבְּפֶשַׁעbe/FE/shaby the transgression ofהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADoneמֵתוּME/tudiedהָרַבִּיםha/rab/BIMmanyאַףafmuch moreכִּי־חֶסֶדki-CHE/sedthe grace ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוּמַתְּנָתוֹu/mat/te/na/TOand His giftרַבּוּrab/BUaboundedלָרַבִּיםla/rab/BIMto manyבְּחֶסֶדbe/CHE/sedby the grace ofהָאָדָםha/a/DAMthe manהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADoneיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

    וְלֹאve/LOand notכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהָיָהha/YAit wasעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEbyאֶחָדe/CHADoneאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatחָטָאcha/TAsinnedכֵּןkensoהַמַּתָּנָהham/mat/ta/NAthe giftכִּיkiforהַדִּיןhad/DINthe judgmentבָּאbacameמֵאֶחָדme/e/CHADfrom oneלְהַרְשִׁיעַle/har/SHI/ato condemnוְהַמַּתָּנָהve/ham/mat/ta/NAbut the free giftהִיאhiisמִפְּשָׁעִיםmip/pe/sha/IMfrom transgressionsרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyלְהַצְדִּיק׃le/hats/DIKto justify

    And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

    כִּיkiforאִם־בְּפֶשַׁעim-be/FE/shaif by the transgression ofהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADoneמָלַךְma/LAKHreignedהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetdeathעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEbyהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADoneאַףafmuch moreכִּי־מְקַבְּלֵיki-me/kab/be/LEwill those who receiveשִׁפְעַתshif/ATthe abundance ofהַחֶסֶדha/CHE/sedgraceוּמַתְּנַתu/mat/te/NATand the gift ofהַצְּדָקָהhats/tse/da/KArighteousnessיִמְלְכוּyim/le/KHUreignבַחַיִּיםva/chay/YIMin lifeעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEbyהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADoneיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

18. 18

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasבְּפֶשַׁעbe/FE/shaby the transgression ofאֶחָדe/CHADoneבָּאbacameהַדִּיןhad/DINjudgmentעַל־כׇּל־בְּנֵי־אָדָםal-kol-be/NE-a/DAMupon all menלְהַרְשִׁיעַle/har/SHI/ato condemnכֵּןkensoבְּצִדְקַתbe/tsid/KATby the righteousness ofאֶחָדe/CHADoneבָּאָהba/Acameהַמַּתָּנָהham/mat/ta/NAthe giftעַל־כׇּל־בְּנֵי־אָדָםal-kol-be/NE-a/DAMupon all menלְהַצְדִּיקle/hats/DIKto justifyלַחַיִּים׃la/chay/YIMto life

    Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

    כִּיkiforכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasבִּמְרִיbim/RIby the rebellion ofהָאָדָםha/a/DAMthe manהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADoneהָיוּha/YUbecameהָרַבִּיםha/rab/BIMmanyלְחַטָּאִיםle/chat/ta/IMsinnersכֵּןkensoבְּמִשְׁמַעַתbe/mish/MA/atby the obedience ofהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADoneיִהְיוּyih/YUwill becomeהָרַבִּיםha/rab/BIMmanyלְצַדִּיקִים׃le/tsad/di/KIMrighteous

    For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

20. 20

    וְהַתּוֹרָהve/hat/to/RAand the lawבָּאָהba/Aenteredלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִרְבֶּהyir/BEmight increaseהַפָּשַׁעhap/pa/SHAthe transgressionוּבַאֲשֶׁרu/va/a/SHERand whereרָבָהra/VAincreasedהַחֵטְאha/CHETsinעָדַףa/DAFexceededעָלָיוa/LAYVover itהֶחָסֶד׃he/CHA/sedgrace

    Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasמָלַךְma/LAKHreignedהַחֵטְאha/CHETsinבַּמָּוֶתbam/MA/vetin deathכֵּןkeneven soיִמְלֹךְyim/LOKHmay reignהַחֶסֶדha/CHE/sedgraceעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEthroughהַצְּדָקָהhats/tse/da/KArighteousnessלְחַיֵּיle/chay/YEto the life ofעוֹלָםo/LAMeternityבְּיֵשׁוּעַbe/Ye/SHU/athrough Jesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאֲדֹנֵינוּ׃a/do/NE/nuour Lord

    That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
