   וַאֲנַחְנוּva/a/NACH/nuand weהַחֲזָקִיםha/cha/za/KIMthe strongעָלֵינוּa/LE/nuit is on usלָשֵׂאתla/SETto bearחֳלִיcho/LIthe weakness ofהַחַלָּשִׁיםha/chal/la/SHIMthe weakוְלֹאve/LOand notלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doהַטּוֹבhat/TOVthe goodבְּעֵינֵינוּ׃be/e/NE/nuin our eyes

   We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

   Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

   כִּיkiforגַם־הַמָּשִׁיחַgam-Ham/ma/SHI/acheven the Messiahלֹאlonotעָשָׂהa/SApleasedהַטּוֹבhat/TOVthe goodבְּעֵינָיוbe/e/NAYVin his eyesכִּיkibutאִםimratherכַּכָּתוּבkak/ka/TUVas it is writtenחֶרְפּוֹתcher/POTthe reproaches ofחוֹרְפֶיךָchor/FE/khathose who reproach Youנָפְלוּna/fe/LUfellעָלָי׃a/LAYon me

   For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

   כִּיkiforכׇל־אֲשֶׁרkhol-a/SHERall thatנִכְתַּבnikh/TAVwas writtenמִלְּפָנִיםmil/le/fa/NIMformerlyנִכְתָּבnikh/TAVwere writtenלְלַמְּדֵנוּle/lam/me/de/NUto teach usלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatתִּהְיֶה־לָּנוּtih/YE-LA/nuwe might haveתִקְוָהtik/VAhopeבְּאֹרֶךְbe/O/rekhthrough the patience ofרוּחַRU/achspiritוּבְתַנְחוּמוֹתu/ve/tan/chu/MOTand the comforts ofהַכְּתוּבִים׃hak/ke/tu/VIMthe scriptures

   For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

   וֵאלֹהֵיve/lo/HEand the God ofאֹרֶךְO/rekhthe patience ofהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe spiritוְהַנֶּחָמָהve/han/ne/cha/MAand comfortהוּאhuHeיִתֵּןyit/TENwill grantוִהְיִיתֶםvih/yi/TEMthat you beכֻּלְּכֶםkul/le/KHEMall of youלֵבleva heartאֶחָדe/CHADoneכְּפִיke/FIaccording toהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahיֵשׁוּעַ׃Ye/SHU/aJesus

   Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

   לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתְּכַבְּדוּte/khab/be/DUyou may glorifyבְּלֵבbe/LEVwith a heartאֶחָדe/CHADoneוּבְפֶהu/ve/FEand with a mouthאֶחָדe/CHADoneאֶת־הָאֱלֹהִיםet-ha/e/lo/HIMGodוַאֲבִיva/A/VIeven the Father ofאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

   That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeקַבְּלוּ־נָאkab/be/LU-nareceive nowאִישׁisheachאֶת־אָחִיוet-a/CHIVhis brotherכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasגַּם־הַמָּשִׁיחַgam-Ham/ma/SHI/achthe Messiah alsoקִבֵּלkib/BELreceivedאֹתָנוּo/TA/nuusלִכְבוֹדlikh/VODto the glory ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

   Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

   וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאֹמֵרo/MERsayכִּיkithatיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahהָיָהha/YAwasמְשָׁרֵתme/sha/RETa servant ofהַנִּמּוֹלִיםhan/nim/mo/LIMthe circumcisedלְמַעַןle/MA/anfor the sake ofאֱמֶתe/METthe truth ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodלְקַיֵּםle/kay/YEMto confirmאֶת־הַהַבְטָחוֹתet-ha/hav/ta/CHOTthe promisesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wereלָאָבוֹת׃la/a/VOTto the fathers

   Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

9. 9

   וְהַגּוֹיִםve/hag/Go/YIMand the Gentilesיְכַבְּדוּye/khab/be/DUwill glorifyאֶת־הָאֱלֹהִיםet-ha/e/lo/HIMGodעַל־רַחֲמָיוal-ra/cha/MAYVfor His mercyכַּכָּתוּבkak/ka/TUVas it is writtenעַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeאוֹדְךָod/KHAI will praise Youבַגּוֹיִםvag/go/YIMamong the nationsוּלְשִׁמְךָu/le/shim/KHAand to Your nameאֲזַמֵּרָה׃a/zam/ME/raI will sing

   And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againאֹמֵרo/MERhe saysהַרְנִינוּhar/NI/nusing for joyגוֹיִםgo/YIMnationsעִם־עַמּוֹ׃im-am/MOwith His people

    And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

11. 11

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againהַלֲלוּha/la/LUpraiseאֶת־הָאָדוֹןet-ha/a/DONthe Lordכׇּל־גּוֹיִםkol-go/YIMall nationsשַׁבְּחוּהוּshab/be/CHU/hulaud Himכׇּל־הָאֻמִּים׃kol-ha/um/MIMall the peoples

    And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

12. 12

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againיְשַׁעְיָהוּYe/sha/YA/huEsaiasאֹמֵרo/MERsaysיִהְיֶהyih/YEthere will beשֹׁרֶשׁSHO/reshthe root ofיִשַׁיYi/SHAYJesseוְהַקָּםve/hak/KAMand the one who risesלִמְשֹׁלlim/SHOLto ruleבַּגּוֹיִםbag/Go/YIMamong the Gentilesבּוֹboin himגּוֹיִםgo/YIMnationsיְקַוּוּ׃ye/kav/VUwill hope

    And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

    וֵאלֹהֵיve/lo/HEand the God ofהַתִּקְוָהhat/tik/VAhopeהוּאhuHeיְמַלֵּאye/mal/LEwill fillאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouכׇּל־שִׂמְחָהkol-sim/CHAwith all joyוְשָׁלוֹםve/sha/LOMand peaceבָּאֱמוּנָהba/e/mu/NAin faithלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatתֶּעְדַּףte/DAFmay overflowתִּקְוַתְכֶםtik/vat/KHEMyour hopeבִּגְבוּרַתbig/vu/RATthrough the power ofרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃RU/ach-Hak/KO/deshthe Holy Spirit

    Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

14. 14

    וְגַם־אֲנִיve/GAM-a/NIand also Iאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersבָּטוּחַba/TU/acham persuadedבָּכֶםba/KHEMabout youכִּיkithatמְלֵאֵיme/le/Efull ofטוּבtuvgoodnessאַתֶּםat/TEMare youוּמְמֻלָּאִיםu/me/mul/la/IMfilled withכׇּל־דַּעַתkol-DA/atall knowledgeוְיֹדְעִיםve/yod/IMand knowing howלְהוֹכִיחַle/ho/KHI/achto admonishאִישׁisheachאֶת־רֵעֵהוּ׃et-re/E/huhis neighbor

    And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

15. 15

    אוּלָםu/LAMbutאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersהֵעַזְתִּיhe/az/TII have been boldמְעַטme/ATa littleלִכְתֹּבlikh/TOVto writeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youהֵנָּהHEN/nahereוָהֵנָּהva/HEN/naand thereכְּמַזְכִּירke/maz/KIRas remindingאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouבַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURbecause ofהַחֶסֶדha/CHE/sedthe graceהַנָּתוּןhan/na/TUNthat is givenלִיlito meמֵאֵתme/ETfromהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

    Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

16. 16

    לִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beמְשָׁרֵתme/sha/RETa servant ofיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahלַגּוֹיִםlag/Go/YIMto the Gentilesוּלְכַהֵןu/le/kha/HENand to serve as priestבִּבְשׂוֹרַתbiv/so/RATin the gospel ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִהְיֶהyih/YEmight beקׇרְבַּןkor/BANthe offering ofהַגּוֹיִםhag/Go/YIMthe Gentilesרָצוּיra/TSUYacceptableוּמְקֻדָּשׁu/me/kud/DASHand sanctifiedבְּרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃be/RU/ach-hak/KO/deshby the Holy Spirit

    That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeיֶשׁ־לִיyesh-liI haveלְהִתְהַלֵּלle/hit/hal/LELto boastבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the MessiahיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusבְּעִנְיְנֵיbe/in/ye/NEin the matters ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

    I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.

18. 18

    כִּיkiforלֹא־אָעֵזlo-a/EZI will not dareפָּנַיpa/NAYmy faceלְדַבֵּרle/dab/BERto speakדָּבָרda/VARa thingזוּלָתִיzu/la/TIexceptאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhatעָשָׂהa/SAhas doneהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahבְּיָדִיbe/ya/DIby my handלְמַעַןle/MA/anso asהַטּוֹתhat/TOTto turnבְּאֹמֶרbe/O/merby wordוּבְמַעֲשֶׂהu/ve/ma/a/SEand by deedאֶת־לֵבet-levthe heart ofהַגּוֹיִםhag/Go/YIMthe Gentilesלָסוּרla/SURto goלְמִשְׁמַעְתּוֹ׃le/mish/ma/TOat his bidding

    For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,

19. 19

    בִּגְבוּרַתbig/vu/RATby the power ofאֹתוֹתo/TOTsignsוּמוֹפְתִיםu/mof/TIMand wondersוּבִגְבוּרַתu/vig/vu/RATand by the power ofרוּחַRU/achthe Spirit ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodעַד־כִּיad-kiso thatמִירוּשָׁלַיִםmI/ru/sha/LA/yimfrom Jerusalemוּסְבִיבוֹתֶיהָu/se/vi/vo/TE/haand its surroundingsוְעַד־אִלּוּרִיקוֹןve/AD-il/lu/ri/KONto Illyricumמִלֵּאתִיmil/LE/tiI have fulfilledאֶת־בְּשׂוֹרַתet-be/so/RATthe gospel ofהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

20. 20

    וְכֵןve/KHENand soהִתְאַמַּצְתִּיhit/am/mats/TIhave I strivedלְבַשֵּׂרle/vas/SERto preachאֶת־הַבְּשׂוֹרָהet-hab/be/so/RAthe gospelלֹאlonotבִּמְקֹמוֹתbim/ko/MOTin placesאֲשֶׁר־שָׁםa/SHER-shamwhereכְּבָרke/VARalreadyנִקְרָאnik/RAwas calledשֵׁםshemthe name ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahפֶּןpenlestאֶבְנֶהev/NEto buildעַל־יְסוֹדal-ye/SODupon the foundation ofאֲחֵרִים׃a/che/RIMothers

    Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:

21. 21

    אַךְakhbutכַּכָּתוּבkak/ka/TUVas it is writtenאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhatלֹא־סֻפַּרlo-sup/PARwas not toldלָהֶםla/HEMto themעָלָיוa/LAYVof himיִרְאוּyir/Uthey shall seeוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand whatלֹא־שָׁמְעוּlo-sha/me/Uthey had not heardיִתְבּוֹנָנוּ׃yit/bo/NA/nuthey shall consider

    But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.

22. 22

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeגַּםgamalsoנֶעֱצַרְתִּיne/e/tsar/TII was held backפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesרַבּוֹתrab/BOTmuchמִבּוֹאmib/BOfrom comingאֲלֵיכֶם׃a/le/KHEMto you

    For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you.

23. 23

    אֲבָלa/VALbutעַתָּהat/TAnowבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERsinceאֵין־לִיen-liI have noעוֹדodmoreמָקוֹםma/KOMplaceבַּגְּלִילוֹתbag/ge/li/LOTin the regionsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iנִכְסָףnikh/SAFlongלָבֹאla/VOto comeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youזֶהzetheseשָׁנִיםsha/NIMyearsרַבּוֹת׃rab/BOTmany

    But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you;

24. 24

    אָבוֹאa/VOI will comeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youבְּלֶכְתִּיbe/lekh/TIas I goלְאִסְפַּמְיָאle/Is/pam/YAto Spainכִּיkiforמְקַוֶּהme/kav/VEhopeאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIלִרְאוֹתְכֶםlir/ot/KHEMto see youבְּעָבְרִיbe/a/ve/RIin my passingוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youתְּשַׁלְּחוּנִיte/shal/le/chu/NIwill send meשָׁמָּהSHAM/mathereוְאֶשְׂבְּעָהve/es/be/Aand I will be satisfiedמְעַטme/ATa littleמִכֶּםmik/KEMfrom youבָּרִאשׁוֹנָה׃ba/ri/sho/NAfirst

    Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.

    אֲבָלa/VALbutעַתָּהat/TAnowאֵלְכָהel/KHAI am goingיְרוּשָׁלָיְמָהYe/ru/sha/la/ye/MAto Jerusalemלְשָׁרֵתle/sha/RETto serveאֶת־הַקְּדוֹשִׁים׃et-hak/ke/do/SHIMto the saints

    But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

26. 26

    כִּיkiforמַקְדּוֹנְיָאMak/don/YAMacedoniaוַאֲכַיָּאva/A/khay/YAand Achaiaהוֹאִילוּho/I/luhave been pleasedלְהָרִיםle/ha/RIMto makeתְּרוּמָהte/ru/MAa contributionלְאֶבְיוֹנֵיle/ev/yo/NEfor the poor ofהַקְּדוֹשִׁיםhak/ke/do/SHIMthe saintsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwho areבִּירוּשָׁלָיִם׃bI/ru/sha/LA/yimin Jerusalem

    For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

    הוֹאִילוּho/I/luthey were pleasedאׇמְנָםom/NAMtrulyוְלֹוִיםve/lo/VIMand debtorsהֵםhemthey areלָהֶםla/HEMto themכִּיkiforאִםimifלַגּוֹיִםlag/Go/YIMthe Gentilesהָיָהha/YAhadחֵלֶקCHE/leka shareבְּדִבְרֵיbe/div/REin the things ofהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe spiritאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat areלָהֶםla/HEMtheirsעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themלְשָׁרְתָםle/sha/re/TAMto minister to themגַּםgamalsoבְּדִבְרֵיbe/div/REin the things ofהַבָּשָׂר׃hab/ba/SARthe flesh

    It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

28. 28

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכְּכַלּוֹתִיke/khal/lo/TIwhen I have performedאֶת־זֹאתet-zotthisוְחׇתְמִיve/chot/MIand have sealedלָהֶםla/HEMfor themהַפְּרִיhap/pe/RIthe fruitהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאָזazthenאֶעְבְּרָהe/be/RAI will passדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhby way ofאַרְצְכֶםar/tse/KHEMyour landלְאִסְפַּמְיָא׃le/Is/pam/YAto Spain

    When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.

29. 29

    וְיוֹדֵעַve/yo/DE/aand knowאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIכִּיkithatבְּבֹאִיbe/vo/Iwhen I comeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youאָבוֹאa/VOI will comeבִּמְלֹאbim/LOin the fullness ofבִרְכַּתvir/KATthe blessing ofבְּשׂוֹרַתbe/so/RATthe gospel ofהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iמְבַקֵּשׁme/vak/KESHaskמִכֶּםmik/KEMyouאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersלְמַעַןle/MA/anfor the sake ofהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahוּלְמַעַןu/le/MA/anand forאַהֲבַתa/ha/VATthe love ofהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe Spiritלְהִתְחַזֵּקle/hit/chaz/ZEKto striveעִמִּיim/MIwith meבְּהַעְתִּירְכֶםbe/ha/ti/re/KHEMin your entreatingבַּעֲדִיba/a/DIfor meאֶל־הָאֱלֹהִים׃el-ha/e/lo/HIMto God

    Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

31. 31

    לְמַעַןle/MA/ansoאֶנָּצֵלen/na/TSELI may be deliveredמֵאֲשֶׁרme/a/SHERfrom them thatלֹאlodo notיַאֲמִינוּya/a/MI/nubelieveבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudaeaוְשֵׁרוּתִיve/she/ru/TIand my serviceאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלִירוּשָׁלַיִםlI/ru/sha/LA/yimto Jerusalemיֶעֱרַבye/e/RAVmay be pleasingלַקְּדוֹשִׁים׃lak/ke/do/SHIMto the saints

    That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judæa; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;

32. 32

    וַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand thatאָבוֹאa/VOI may comeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youבְּשִׂמְחָהbe/sim/CHAwith joyבִּרְצוֹןbir/TSONby the will ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוְאֶנָּפֵשׁve/en/na/FESHand may be refreshedעִמָּכֶם׃im/ma/KHEMwith you

    That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.

33. 33

    וֵאלֹהֵיve/lo/HEand the God ofהַשָּׁלוֹםhash/sha/LOMpeaceיְהִיye/HIbeעִם־כֻּלְּכֶםim-kul/le/KHEMwith all of youאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
