    וַאֲנַחְנוּwe-thenהַחֲזָקִיםthat-are-strongעָלֵינוּoughtלָשֵׂאתto-bearחֻלְשׁוֹתthe-infirmities-ofהָרָפִיםthe-weakוְאַל־נְבַקֵּשׁand-not-to-seekהֲנָאַתthe-pleasure-ofעַצְמֵנוּ׃ourselves

    We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

    כִּיletכׇל־אֶחָדevery-oneמִמֶּנּוּof-usיְבַקֵּשׁseekהֲנָאַתthe-pleasure-ofחֲבֵרוֹhis-neighborלְטוֹבfor-goodלוֹto-himלְמַעַןthatיִתְכּוֹנָן׃he-may-be-edified

    Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

    כִּיforגַם־הַמָּשִׁיחַeven-Christלֹאnotבִקֵּשׁsoughtהֲנָאַתthe-pleasure-ofעַצְמוֹhimselfאֶלָּאbutכַכָּתוּבas-it-is-writtenחֶרְפּוֹתthe-reproaches-ofחוֹרְפֶיךָthem-that-reproached-youנָפְלוּfellעָלָי׃on-me

    For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

    כִּיforכׇל־אֲשֶׁרwhatsoever-thingsנִכְתַּבwere-writtenמִלְּפָנִיםaforetimeנִכְתָּבwere-writtenלְלַמְּדֵנוּfor-our-learningלְמַעַןthatתִּהְיֶה־לָּנוּwe-might-haveתִקְוָהhopeבְּסַבְלָנוּתthrough-patienceוּבְתַנְחוּמוֹתand-comfort-ofהַכְּתוּבִים׃the-scriptures

    For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

    וֵאלֹהֵיnow-the-God-ofהַסַּבְלָנוּתpatienceוְהַנֶּחָמָהand-consolationהוּאheיִתֵּןgrantוִהְיִיתֶםyou-to-beכֻּלְּכֶםall-of-youלֵבof-mindאֶחָדoneכִּרְצוֹןaccording-toהַמָּשִׁיחַChristיֵשׁוּעַ׃Jesus

    Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

    אֲשֶׁרthatתְּכַבְּדוּyou-may-glorifyבְּנֶפֶשׁwith-mindאַחַתoneוּבְפֶהand-with-mouthאֶחָדoneאֶת־הָאֱלֹהִיםGodאָבִיeven-the-Father-ofאֲדֹנֵינוּour-LordיֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃Christ

    That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    עַל־כֵּןwhereforeקַבְּלוּ־נָאreceive-youאִישׁoneאֶת־אָחִיוanotherכַּאֲשֶׁרasגַּם־הַמָּשִׁיחַChrist-alsoקִבֵּלreceivedאֹתָנוּusלִכְבוֹדto-the-glory-ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃God

    Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

    וַאֲנִיnow-IאֹמֵרsayכִּיthatיֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַChristנוֹלַדwasלִהְיוֹתmade-aמְשָׁרֵתminister-ofהַנִּמּוֹלִיםthe-circumcisionלְמַעַןforאֲמִתּוֹthe-truthשֶׁלofהָאֱלֹהִיםGodלְקַיֵּםto-confirmאֶת־הַהַבְטָחוֹתthe-promisesאֲשֶׁרmadeלָאָבוֹת׃unto-the-fathers

    Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

    וְהַגּוֹיִםand-the-Gentilesהֵמָּהmayיְכַבְּדוּglorifyאֶת־הָאֱלֹהִיםGodלְמַעַןforרַחֲמָיוhis-mercyכַּכָּתוּבas-it-is-writtenעַל־כֵּןfor-this-causeאוֹדְךָI-will-confess-to-youבַגּוֹיִםamong-the-Gentilesוּלְשִׁמְךָand-unto-your-nameאֲזַמֵּרָה׃sing

    And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

    וְאוֹמֵרand-again-he-saithהַרְנִינוּrejoiceגוֹיִםyou-Gentilesעַמּוֹ׃with-his-people

    And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

  11. 11

    וְאוֹמֵרand-againהַלֲלוּpraiseאֶת־הָאָדוֹןthe-Lordכׇּל־גּוֹיִםall-you-Gentilesשַׁבְּחוּהוּand-laud-himכׇּל־הָאֻמִּים׃all-you-people

    And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

    וִישַׁעְיָהוּand-Esaiasאֹמֵרsaithוְהָיָהthere-shall-beשֹׁרֶשׁa-root-ofיִשַׁיJesseאֲשֶׁרand-he-thatעֹמֵדshall-riseלִנְשִׂיאto-reign-overעַמִּיםthe-Gentilesאֵלָיוin-himגּוֹיִםthe-Gentilesיְקַוּוּ׃shall-trust

    And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

    וֵאלֹהֵיnow-the-God-ofהַתִּקְוָהhopeהוּאheיְמַלֵּאfillאֶתְכֶםyouכׇּל־שִׂמְחָהwith-all-joyוְשָׁלוֹםand-peaceבָּאֱמוּנָהin-believingלְמַעַןthatתֶּעְדַּףyou-may-aboundתִּקְוַתְכֶםin-hopeבִּגְבוּרַתthrough-the-power-ofרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃the-Holy-Ghost

    Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

    וְהִנֵּהandאַחַיmy-brethrenמֻבְטָחpersuadedאֲנִיI-amבָּכֶםof-youכִּיthatמְלֵאֵיfull-ofאַהֲבַתlove-ofחֶסֶדgoodnessאַתֶּםyou-areוּמְמֻלָּאִיםfilled-withכׇּל־דַּעַתall-knowledgeוְיֹדְעִיםableלְהוֹכִיחַto-admonishאִישׁoneאֶת־רֵעֵהוּ׃another

    And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

    אַף־עַל־פִּיneverthelessכֵןsoהֵעַזְתִּיI-have-venturedמְעַטsomewhatלִכְתֹּבto-writeאֲלֵיכֶםunto-youהֵנָּהhereוָהֵנָּהand-thereכְּמַזְכִּירas-putting-in-mindאֶתְכֶםyouעַל־פִּיbecause-ofהַחֶסֶדthe-graceהַנָּתוּןthat-is-givenלִיto-meמֵאֵתofהָאֱלֹהִים׃God

    Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

    לִהְיוֹתthat-I-should-beמְשָׁרֵתthe-minister-ofיֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַChristלַגּוֹיִםto-the-Gentilesוּלְכַהֵןministeringבִּבְשׂוֹרַתthe-gospel-ofהָאֱלֹהִיםGodלְמַעַןthatיִהְיֶהmight-beקׇרְבַּןthe-offering-up-ofהַגּוֹיִםthe-Gentilesרָצוּיacceptableוּמְקֻדָּשׁbeing-sanctifiedבְּרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃by-the-Holy-Ghost

    That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

    עַל־כֵּןthereforeיֶשׁ־לִיI-haveלְהִתְהַלֵּלwhereof-I-may-gloryבַּמָּשִׁיחַthrough-ChristיֵשׁוּעַJesusבְּעִנְיְנֵיin-those-things-which-pertain-toהָאֱלֹהִים׃God

    I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.

    כִּיforלֹא־אָעֵזI-dare-notפָּנַיpresumeלְדַבֵּרto-speakדָּבָרanythingזוּלָתִיsaveאֲשֶׁרwhichעָשָׂהhath-wroughtהַמָּשִׁיחַChristבְּיָדִיby-meלְמַעַןtoהַטּוֹתinclineבְּאֹמֶרby-wordוּבְמַעֲשֶׂהand-by-deedאֶת־לֵבthe-heart-ofהַגּוֹיִםthe-Gentilesלָסוּרto-turnלְמִשְׁמַעְתּוֹ׃to-his-obedience

    For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,

    בִּגְבוּרַתthrough-the-power-ofאֹתוֹתsignsוּמוֹפְתִיםand-wondersוּבִגְבוּרַתand-by-the-power-ofרוּחַthe-Spirit-ofאֱלֹהִיםGodעַד־כִּיso-thatמִירוּשָׁלַיִםfrom-Jerusalemוּסְבִיבוֹתֶיהָand-round-aboutוְעַדuntoלְאִלּוּרִיקוֹןIllyricumמִלֵּאתִיI-have-fully-preachedאֶת־בְּשׂוֹרַתthe-gospel-ofהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃Christ

    Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

  20. 20

    בְּהִשְׁתַּדְּלִיyea-so-have-I-strivedלְהַגִּידto-preachאֶת־הַבְּשׂוֹרָהthe-gospelלֹאnotבִּמְקֹמוֹתin-placesאֲשֶׁר־שָׁםwhereכְּבָרalreadyנִקְרָאwas-namedשֵׁםthe-name-ofהַמָּשִׁיחַChristשֶׁלּאlestאֶבְנֶהI-should-buildעַל־יְסוֹדupon-the-foundation-ofאֲחֵרִים׃another

    Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:

  21. 21

    אֶלָּאbutכַּכָּתוּבas-it-is-writtenאֲשֶׁרto-whomלֹא־סֻפַּרwas-not-toldלָהֶםthemרָאוּthey-shall-seeוַאֲשֶׁרand-they-thatלֹא־שָׁמְעוּhave-not-heardהִתְבּוֹנָנוּ׃shall-understand

    But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.

    וְהוּאand-this-isהַדָּבָרthe-causeאֲשֶׁר־בִּגְלָלוֹfor-whichנֶעֱצַרְתִּיI-was-hinderedפַּעַםonceוּשְׁתַּיִםand-twiceמִבּוֹאfrom-comingאֲלֵיכֶם׃to-you

    For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you.

  23. 23

    אֲבָלbutעַתָּהnowשֶׁאֵין־לִיhaving-noעוֹדmoreמָקוֹםplaceבַּגְּלִילוֹתin-partsהָאֵלֶּהtheseוַאֲנִיand-Iנִכְסָףhaving-a-great-desireלָבֹאto-comeאֲלֵיכֶםunto-youזֶהtheseשָׁנִיםyearsרַבּוֹת׃many

    But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you;

    אָבוֹאI-will-comeאֲלֵיכֶםto-youבְּלֶכְתִּיin-my-journeyלְאִסְפַּמְיָאinto-SpainכִּיforמְקַוֶּהtrustאָנֹכִיIלִרְאוֹתְכֶםto-see-youבְּעָבְרִיin-my-passing-throughוְאַתֶּםand-youתְּשַׁלְּחוּנִיshall-bring-me-on-my-wayשָׁמָּהthitherוְאֶשְׂבְּעָהif-I-be-filledמְעַטsomewhatמִכֶּםwith-youבָּרִאשׁוֹנָה׃first

    Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.

    אׇמְנָםbutעַתָּהnowאֵלְכָהI-goיְרוּשָׁלָיְמָהunto-Jerusalemלַעֲזוֹרto-ministerלַקְּדוֹשִׁים׃unto-the-saints

    But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

  26. 26

    כִּיforמַקְדּוֹנְיָאMacedoniaוַאֲכַיָּאand-Achaiaהוֹאִילוּit-hath-pleased-themלִתְרֹםto-makeתְּרוּמָהa-contributionלְאֶבְיוֹנֵיfor-the-poor-ofהַקְּדוֹשִׁיםthe-saintsאֲשֶׁרwhichבִּירוּשָׁלָיִם׃at-Jerusalem

    For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

  27. 27

    כִּיitהוֹאִילוּhath-pleased-themוְאַף־מְחֻיָּבִיםand-debtorsהֵםthey-areלָהֶםto-themהִנֵּהforלַגּוֹיִםthe-Gentilesהָיָהhave-been-made-partakersחֵלֶקof-partבְּדִבְרֵיin-the-spiritual-things-ofהָרוּחַthe-spiritאֲשֶׁרwhichלָהֶםare-theirsוַהֲלֹאand-is-it-notעֲלֵיהֶםtheir-dutyלְתָמְכָםto-minister-to-themגַּםalsoבְּדִבְרֵיin-the-carnal-things-ofהַגּוּף׃the-body

    It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

  28. 28

    לָכֵןthereforeכְּשֶׁגָּמַרְתִּיwhen-I-have-performedאֶת־זֹאתthisוְחָתַמְתִּיand-have-sealedלָהֶםto-themהַפְּרִיfruitהַזֶּהthisאָזthenאֶעְבְּרָהI-will-passדֶּרֶךְthroughאַרְצְכֶםyour-landלְאִסְפַּמְיָא׃into-Spain

    When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.

    וְיוֹדֵעַand-sureאָנֹכִיI-amכִּיthatבְּבֹאִיwhen-I-comeאֲלֵיכֶםunto-youאָבוֹאI-shall-comeבִּמְלֹאin-the-fulness-ofבִרְכָתָהּthe-blessingשֶׁל־בְּשׂוֹרַתof-the-gospel-ofהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃Christ

    And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

  30. 30

    וַאֲנִיnow-Iמְעוֹרֵרbeseechאֶתְכֶםyouאַחַיbrethrenבַּאֲדֹנֵינוּfor-our-LordיֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַChristוּבְאַהֲבַתand-for-the-love-ofהָרוּחַthe-Spiritלְהִתְחַזֵּקthat-you-strive-togetherעִמִּיwith-meבְּהַעְתִּירְכֶםin-your-prayersבַּעֲדִיfor-meאֶל־הָאֱלֹהִים׃to-God

    Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

  31. 31

    לְמַעַןthatאֲשֶׁרthatאֶנָּצֵלI-may-be-deliveredמֵהַסּוֹרֲרִיםfrom-them-that-believe-notבְּאֶרֶץin-the-land-ofיְהוּדָהJudaeaוְיֶעֱרַבand-may-be-acceptedעַל־הַקְּדוֹשִׁיםof-the-saintsשִׁמּוּשִׁיmy-serviceלְשֵׁםforיְרוּשָׁלָיִם׃Jerusalem

    That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judæa; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;

  32. 32

    וַאֲשֶׁרthatאָבוֹאI-may-comeאֲלֵיכֶםunto-youבְּשִׂמְחָהwith-joyבִּרְצוֹןby-the-will-ofאֱלֹהִיםGodוְאֶנָּפֵשׁand-may-be-refreshedעִמָּכֶם׃with-you

    That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.

  33. 33

    וֵאלֹהֵיnow-the-God-ofהַשָּׁלוֹםpeaceעִם־כֻּלְּכֶםbe-with-you-allאָמֵן׃Amen

    Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
