   וְאֶת־הֶחָלוּשׁve/ET-he/cha/LUSHand the weakבָּאֱמוּנָהba/e/mu/NAin the faithאוֹתוֹo/TOhimקַבֵּלוּkab/be/LUreceiveוְלֹאve/LOand notלְרִיבוֹתle/ri/VOTto disputationsמַחֲשָׁבוֹת׃ma/cha/sha/VOTthoughts

   Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

   יֵשׁyeshthere is oneמַאֲמִיןma/a/MINwho believesכִּיkithatיֹאכַלyo/KHALhe may eatאֶת־הַכֹּלet-hak/KOLall thingsוְהֶחָלוּשׁve/he/cha/LUSHand the weakלֹאlonotיֹאכַלyo/KHALeatsכִּיkibutאִםimexceptיָרָק׃ya/RAKvegetables

   For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

   הָאֹכֵלha/o/KHELthe one who eatsאַל־יִבֶזal-YI/vezlet him not despiseאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthe one whoלֹאlonotיֹאכֵלyo/KHELeatsוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand the one whoלֹאlonotיֹאכַלyo/KHALeatsאַל־יָדִיןal-ya/DINlet him not judgeאֶת־הָאֹכֵלet-ha/o/KHELthe one who eatsכִּי־קִבֵּלki-kib/BELfor has receivedאֹתוֹo/TOhimהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

   Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

   Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

   יֵשׁyeshthere is one whoמַבְדִּילmav/DILdistinguishesבֵּין־יוֹםben-yombetween dayלָיוֹםla/YOMand dayוְיֵשׁve/YESHand there is oneאֲשֶׁרa/SHERfor whomכׇּל־הַיָּמִיםkol-hay/ya/MIMall daysדֹּמִיםdo/MIMare alikeבְּעֵינָיוbe/e/NAYVin his eyesיְהִיye/HIlet beכׇל־אִישׁkhol-ishevery manנָכוֹןna/KHONcertainבְּדַעְתּוֹ׃be/da/TOin his mind

   One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

   He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

   כִּיkiforאֵין־אִישׁen-ishno manמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof usחַיchaylivesלְנַפְשׁוֹle/naf/SHOfor himselfוְאֵיןve/ENand noאִישׁishmanמֵתmetdiesלְנַפְשׁוֹ׃le/naf/SHOfor himself

   For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

   כִּיkiforאִם־נִחְיֶהim-nich/YEif we liveנִחְיֶהnich/YEwe liveלָאָדוֹןla/a/DONfor the Lordוְאִםve/IMand ifנָמוּתna/MUTwe dieנָמוּתna/MUTwe dieלָאָדוֹןla/a/DONfor the Lordלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeבֵּיןbenwhetherחַיִּיםchay/YIMlivingוּבֵיןu/VENorמֵתִיםme/TIMdeadלָאָדוֹןla/a/DONthe Lord'sהִנֵּנוּ׃hin/NE/nuare we

   For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

   כִּיkibecauseבַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURfor the sake ofזֹאתzotthisמֵתmetdiedהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahוַיָּקׇםvay/YA/komand roseוַיֶּחִיvay/YE/chiand livedלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִהְיֶהyih/YEhe might beאָדוֹןa/DONLordגַּםgambothעַל־הַמֵּתִיםal-ham/me/TIMover the deadגַּםgamandעַל־הַחַיִּים׃al-ha/chay/YIMover the living

   For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

    וְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youמַה־לְּךָma-le/KHAwhat is it to youכִּיkithatתָדִיןta/DINyou judgeאֶת־אָחִיךָet-a/CHI/khayour brotherוּמַה־לְּךָu/MA-le/KHAand what is it to youכִּיkithatתָבוּזta/VUZyou despiseלְאָחִיךָle/a/CHI/khayour brotherכִּיkiforכֻלָּנוּkhul/LA/nuall of usנַעֲמֹדna/a/MODshall we standלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeכִסֵּאkhis/SEthe seat ofדִּיןdinthe judgment ofהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11. 11

    כִּיkiforכָתוּבkha/TUVit is writtenחַי־אָנִיchay-A/nias I liveנְאֻם־יְהוָֹהne/UM-Adonaideclares the LORDכִּיkithatלִיlito Meתִּכְרַעtikh/RAwill bowכׇּל־בֶּרֶךְkol-BE/rekhevery kneeוְכׇל־לָשׁוֹןve/KHOL-la/SHONand every tongueתּוֹדֶהto/DEwill confessלֵאלֹהִים׃le/lo/HIMto God

    For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

12. 12

    לָכֵןla/KHENso thenאִישׁisheveryאִישׁishoneמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof usעַל־נַפְשׁוֹal-naf/SHOfor himselfיִתֵּןyit/TENwill giveחֶשְׁבּוֹןchesh/BONan accountלֵאלֹהִים׃le/lo/HIMto God

    So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

13. 13

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאַל־נָדִיןal-na/DINlet us not judgeעוֹדodanymoreאִישׁisheachאֶת־רֵעֵהוּet-re/E/huhis neighborכִּיkibutאִם־זֶהim-zerather thisיְהִיye/HIlet beדִינְכֶםdi/ne/KHEMyour judgmentאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־יִתֵּןlo-yit/TENwill not allowאִישׁisha manלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאָחִיוa/CHIVhis brotherמִכְשׁוֹלmikh/SHOLa stumbling blockאוֹoorמוֹקֵשׁ׃mo/KESHa snare

    Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

    אֲנִיa/NIIיָדַעְתִּיya/DA/tiknowוּבָרוּרu/va/RURand certainלִיlito meהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARis the matterבָּאָדוֹןba/a/DONin the LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusכִּי־אֵיןki-enthat there is nothingדָּבָרda/VARthingטָמֵאta/MEuncleanמֵאֵלָיוme/e/LAYVby itselfאַךְakhbutלְאִישׁle/ISHto himאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיַחְשְׁבֶנּוּyach/she/ven/NUconsiders itלְטָמֵאle/ta/MEas uncleanלוֹlofor himselfטָמֵאta/MEuncleanהוּא׃huit is

    I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

15. 15

    וְאִם־יֵעָצֵבve/IM-ye/a/TSEVand if is grievedאָחִיךָa/CHI/khayour brotherבְּמַאֲכָלְךָbe/ma/a/kha/le/KHAwith your foodאֵינְךָe/ne/KHAyou are notהֹלֵךְho/LEKHwalkingבְּחֶסֶדbe/CHE/sedin kindnessאַל־נָאal-nado notתְאַבֵּדte/ab/BEDdestroyבְּמַאֲכָלְךָbe/ma/a/kha/le/KHAwith your foodאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthe oneבַּעֲדוֹba/a/DOfor whomמֵתmetdiedהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

16. 16

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִזָּהֵרוּhiz/za/he/RUbewareפֶּן־יִהְיֶהpen-yih/YElest becomeטוּבְכֶםtuv/KHEMyour goodלְגִדּוּפִים׃le/gid/du/FIMblasphemies

    Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

17. 17

    כִּי־מַלְכוּתki-mal/KHUTfor the kingdom ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodאֵינֶנָּהe/NEN/nais notמַאֲכָלma/a/KHALfoodוּמִשְׁתֶּהu/mish/TEand drinkכִּי־צְדָקָהki-tse/da/KAbut righteousnessהִיאhiit isוְשָׁלוֹםve/sha/LOMand peaceוְשִׂמְחָהve/sim/CHAand joyבְּרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃be/RU/ach-hak/KO/deshin the Holy Spirit

    For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

18. 18

    וְהָעֹבֵדve/ha/o/VEDand the one who servesבָּאֵלֶּהba/EL/lein theseאֶת־הַמָּשִׁיחַet-Ham/ma/SHI/achthe Messiahרָצוּיra/TSUYacceptableהוּאhuisלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godוּבָחוּןu/va/CHUNand testedלָאֲנָשִׁים׃la/a/na/SHIMby men

    For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

19. 19

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeנִרְדְּפָה־נָּאnir/de/FA-nalet us pursue nowדַּרְכֵיdar/KHEthe ways ofשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand whatנְכוֹנֵןne/kho/NENwe may build upבּוֹboby itאִישׁisheachאֶת־רֵעֵהוּ׃et-re/E/huhis neighbor

    Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

20. 20

    אַל־תַּהֲרוֹסal-ta/ha/ROSdo not tear downאֶת־מַעֲשֵׂהet-ma/a/SEthe work ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodעַל־דְּבַרal-de/VARover a matter ofמַאֲכָלma/a/KHALfoodהֵןhenbeholdהַכֹּלhak/KOLallטָהוֹרta/HORis cleanוְרַעve/RAbut evilהוּאhuit isלָאָדָםla/a/DAMfor the manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיֹאכְלֶנּוּyo/khe/LEN/nueatsלְמִכְשֹׁל׃le/mikh/SHOLfor a stumbling

    For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.

21. 21

    טוֹבtovgoodלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TIneitherאֱכֹלe/KHOLto eatבָּשָׂרba/SARmeatוְלֹאve/LOnorלִשְׁתּוֹתlish/TOTto drinkיָיִןYA/yinwineוְלֹאve/LOnorדָבָרda/VARa thingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִתְנַגֶּף־בּוֹyit/nag/GEF-bostumbles over itאָחִיךָa/CHI/khayour brotherוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand becomesלוֹloto himלְמִכְשֹׁלle/mikh/SHOLa stumblingוּלְפוּקָהu/le/fu/KAand an obstacleאוֹoorיִרְפֶּה׃yir/PEis weakened

    It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

22. 22

    אִםimifיֵשׁyeshthere isלְךָle/KHAto youאֱמוּנָהe/mu/NAfaithתְּהִי־לְךָte/HI-le/KHAlet it be to youלְבַדְּךָle/vad/de/KHAaloneלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodאַשְׁרֵיash/REblessed isאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthe one whoלֹאlonotיַרְשִׁיעַyar/SHI/acondemnsאֶת־נַפְשׁוֹet-naf/SHOhimselfבַּדָּבָרbad/da/VARin that thingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיִבְחַר׃yiv/CHARhe chooses

    Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

23. 23

    וַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand the one whoחָלַקcha/LAKdoubtsלִבּוֹlib/BOhis heartאִם־יֹאכַלim-yo/KHALif he eatנֶאְשָׁםne/SHAMis guiltyכִּיkibecauseלֹאlonotאָכַלa/KHALhe ateמֵאֱמוּנָהme/e/mu/NAfrom faithכִּיkiforכֹלkholallאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹאlois notמֵאֱמוּנָהme/e/mu/NAfrom faithחֵטְאchetsinהוּא׃huis

    And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
