   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאֲבַקֵּשׁa/vak/KESHI askמִכֶּםmik/KEMyouאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersבְּרַחֲמֵיbe/ra/cha/MEby the mercies ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתַּגִּישׁוּtag/gi/SHUyou presentאֶת־גְּוִיּוֹתֵיכֶםet-ge/viy/yo/te/KHEMyour bodiesקׇרְבָּןkor/BANan offeringחַיchaylivingוְקָדוֹשׁve/ka/DOSHand holyוְנִרְצֶהve/nir/TSEand acceptableלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהִיאhiisעֲבוֹדַתְכֶםa/vo/dat/KHEMyour serviceבְּשֵׂכֶל׃be/SE/khelwith understanding

   I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

   וְאַל־תִּדַּמּוּve/AL-tid/DAM/muand do not be likeלָעוֹלָםla/o/LAMto the worldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisכִּיkibutאִם־הֵהָפְכוּim-he/ha/fe/KHUrather be transformedבְּהִתְחַדֵּשׁbe/hit/chad/DESHin the renewing ofשִׂכְלְכֶםsikh/le/KHEMyour mindלִבְחֹןliv/CHONto testמַה־הוּאma-huwhat isרְצוֹןre/TSONthe will ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodהַטּוֹבhat/TOVthe goodוְהַנִּרְצֶהve/han/nir/TSEand acceptableוְהַשָּׁלֵם׃ve/hash/sha/LEMand the perfect

   And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

   כִּיkiforעַל־פִּיal-pibyהַחֶסֶדha/CHE/sedthe graceהַנִּתָּןhan/nit/TANthat is givenלִיlito meאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלְכׇל־אִישׁle/KHOL-ishto every manבָּכֶםba/KHEMamong youלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TInotרוּם־לְבָבוֹrum-le/va/VOto lift up his heartלְמַעְלָהle/MA/laaboveמִן־הָרָאוּיmin-ha/ra/UYwhat is fittingכִּיkibutאִם־יְהִיim-ye/HIrather let him beצָנוּעַtsa/NU/amodestבְּמַחְשְׁבוֹתָיוbe/mach/she/vo/TAYVin his thoughtsכְּמִדַּתke/mid/DATaccording to the measure ofהָאֱמוּנָהha/e/mu/NAfaithאֲשֶׁר־חָלַקa/SHER-cha/LAKthat has apportionedלוֹloto himהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

   For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

   כִּיkiforכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasבְּגוּףbe/GUFin a bodyאֶחָדe/CHADoneיֶשׁ־לָנוּyesh-LA/nuwe haveאֵבָרִיםe/va/RIMmembersרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyוְלֹאve/LOand notלְכׇל־הָאֵבָרִיםle/KHOL-ha/e/va/RIMall members haveפְּקֻדָּהpe/kud/DAofficeאֶחָת׃e/CHATone

   For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

   כֵּןkensoאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweהָרַבִּיםha/rab/BIMthe manyגּוּףgufare a bodyאֶחָדe/CHADoneבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahוְכֻלָּנוּve/khul/LA/nuand all of usאֵבָרִיםe/va/RIMmembersאִישׁishoneלְרֵעֵהוּ׃le/re/E/huof another

   So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

6. 6

   וְיֶשׁ־לָנוּve/YESH-LA/nuand we haveמַתָּנוֹתmat/ta/NOTgiftsשֹׁנוֹתsho/NOTdifferingכַּחֶסֶדka/CHE/sedaccording to the graceהַנִּתָּןhan/nit/TANthat is givenלָנוּLA/nuto usאִם־נְבוּאָהim-ne/vu/Aif prophecyנִנָּבֵאnin/na/VElet us prophesyכְּמִדַּתke/mid/DATaccording to the measure ofהָאֱמוּנָה׃ha/e/mu/NAfaith

   Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

   אוֹ־שֵׁרוּתo-she/RUTor ministryנִשְׁקֹדnish/KODlet us devote ourselvesעַל־שֵׁרוּתֵנוּal-she/ru/te/NUon our ministeringאוֹoorהַמּוֹרֶהham/mo/REthe teacherעַל־הַלֶּקַח׃al-hal/LE/kachon the teaching

   Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

   אוֹoorהַמַּזְהִירham/maz/HIRhe that exhortsעַל־הַמּוּסָרal-ham/mu/SARon exhortationהַנּוֹתֵןhan/no/TENthe one who givesיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SElet him do itבְּתׇם־לֵבָבbe/TOM-le/VAVwith integrity of heartוְהַמַּנְהִיגve/ham/man/HIGand the one who leadsבַּחֲרִיצוּתba/cha/ri/TSUTwith diligenceוְהַחוֹנֵןve/ha/cho/NENhe that shows mercyבְּשִׂמְחָה׃be/sim/CHAwith joy

   Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

   אַהֲבַתְכֶםa/ha/vat/KHEMyour loveתְּהִיte/HIlet beבְּלִיbe/LIwithoutחֲנֻפָּהcha/nup/PAhypocrisyשִׂנְאוּsin/Uhateאֶת־הָרַעet-ha/RAthe evilוְדִבְקוּve/div/KUand clingבַטּוֹב׃vat/TOVto the good

   Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

    בְּאַהֲבַתbe/a/ha/VATin the love ofאַחִיםa/CHIMbrothersאֶהֱבוּe/he/VUloveזֶהzeoneאֶת־זֶהet-zeto anotherהַקְדִּימוּhak/di/MUgo beforeאִישׁisheachאֶת־רֵעֵהוּet-re/E/huhis neighborבְּכָבוֹד׃be/kha/VODin honor

    Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

    אַל־תֵּעָצְלוּal-te/a/tse/LUdo not be slothfulבַּמְּלָאכָהbam/me/la/KHAin the workוְרוּחֲכֶםve/ru/cha/KHEMand your spiritתִּבְעַרtiv/ARburningעִבְדוּiv/DUserveאֶת־הָאָדוֹן׃et-ha/a/DONthe Lord

    Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

12. 12

    שִׂמְחוּsim/CHUrejoiceבַתִּקְוָהvat/tik/VAin hopeאֶרֶךְ־רוּחַE/rekh-RU/achpatient in spiritבַצָּרָהvats/tsa/RAin troubleשִׁקְדוּshik/DUbe diligentעַל־הַתְּפִלָּה׃al-hat/te/fil/LAin prayer

    Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

    הִתְנַדְּבוּhit/nad/de/VUgive freelyלְצׇרְכֵיle/tsor/KHEto the necessity ofהַקְּדוֹשִׁיםhak/ke/do/SHIMthe saintsוּפִתְחוּu/fit/CHUand openדַלְתֵיכֶםdal/te/KHEMyour doorsלָאֹרֵחַ׃la/o/RE/achfor the wayfarer

    Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

14. 14

    בָּרֲכוּba/ra/KHUblessאֶת־רֹדְפֵיכֶםet-rod/fe/KHEMthose who persecute youבָּרֲכוּba/ra/KHUblessוְאַל־תְּקַלֵּלוּ׃ve/AL-te/kal/le/LUand do not curse

    Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

15. 15

    שִׂמְחוּsim/CHUrejoiceעִם־הַשְּׂמֵחִיםim-has/se/me/CHIMwith those who rejoiceוּבְכוּu/ve/KHUand weepעִם־הַבֹּכִים׃im-hab/bo/KHIMwith those who weep

    Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

16. 16

    לֵבleva heartאֶחָדe/CHADoneיְהִיye/HIlet beזֶהzeoneלָזֶהla/ZEtoward anotherאַל־תְּהַלְּכוּal-te/hal/le/KHUdo not walkבִגְדֹלוֹתvig/do/LOTin great thingsכִּיkibutאִם־לְכוּim-le/KHUrather walkעִם־הַשְּׁפָלִיםim-hash/she/fa/LIMwith the lowlyאַל־תִּהְיוּal-tih/YUbe notחֲכָמִיםcha/kha/MIMwiseבְּעֵינֵיכֶם׃be/e/ne/KHEMin your eyes

    Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

17. 17

    אַל־תְּשַׁלְּמוּal-te/shal/le/MUdo not repayלְאִישׁle/ISHto a manרָעָהra/AevilתַּחַתTA/chatforרָעָהra/Aevilדִּרְשׁוּdir/SHUseekהַטּוֹבhat/TOVthe goodבְּעֵינֵיbe/e/NEin the eyes ofכׇּל־אָדָם׃kol-a/DAMevery man

    Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

18. 18

    אִם־תּוּכְלוּim-tukh/LUif you canכְּכׇל־אֲשֶׁרke/KHOL-a/SHERas far asתִּמְצָאtim/TSAfindsיֶדְכֶםyed/KHEMyour handיְהִיye/HIlet beלָכֶםla/KHEMto youשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceעִם־כׇּל־אָדָם׃im-kol-a/DAMwith every man

    If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

19. 19

    אַל־תִּנָּקְמוּal-tin/na/ke/MUdo not avengeנָקָםna/KAMvengeanceיְדִידַיye/di/DAYmy belovedכִּיkibutאִם־תְּנוּim-te/NUrather giveמָקוֹםma/KOMplaceלַחֲרוֹן־אָףla/cha/RON-afto burning angerכִּיkiforכָתוּבkha/TUVit is writtenלִיliMine isנָקָםna/KAMvengeanceוְשִׁלֵּםve/shil/LEMand repaymentאָמַרa/MARsaysהָאָדוֹן׃ha/a/DONthe Lord

    Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20. 20

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאִם־רָעֵבim-ra/EVif hungryשֹׂנַאֲךָso/na/a/KHAthe one who hates youהַאֲכִילֵהוּha/a/khi/le/HUfeed himוְאִם־צָמֵאve/IM-tsa/MEand if thirstyהַשְׁקֵהוּhash/KE/hugive him drinkכִּיkiforבַּעֲשׂוֹתְךָba/a/sot/KHAwhen you doכֵןkhensoגַּחֲלֵי־אֵשׁga/cha/LE-eshcoals of fireאַתָּהat/TAyouחֹתֶהcho/TEheapעַל־רֹאשׁוֹ׃al-ro/SHOon his head

    Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21. 21

    אַל־נָאal-nado notיִכְבָּשְׁךָyikh/ba/she/KHAlet conquer youהָרָעha/RAthe evilכְּבוֹשׁke/VOSHconquerאַתָּהat/TAyouאֶת־הָרַעet-ha/RAthe evilבַּטּוֹב׃bat/TOVwith the good

    Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
