1. 1

   וָאֵרֶאva/E/reand I sawכִּי־פָתַחki-fa/TACHwhen openedהַשֶּׂהhas/SEthe Lambאֶחָדe/CHADoneמִן־הַחוֹתָמוֹתmin-ha/cho/ta/MOTof the sealsוָאֶשְׁמַעva/esh/MAand I heardכְּקוֹלke/KOLlike the sound ofרַעַםRA/amthunderאַחַתa/CHAToneמֵאַרְבַּעme/ar/BAof the fourהַחַיּוֹתha/chay/YOTliving creaturesאֹמֶרֶתo/ME/retsayingבֹּאbocomeוּרְאֵה׃u/re/Eand see

   And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

2. 2

   וָאֵרֶאva/E/reand I sawוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdסוּסsusa horseלָבָןla/VANwhiteוְהַיֹּשֵׁבve/hay/yo/SHEVand the one sittingעָלָיוa/LAYVon itקֶשֶׁתKE/sheta bowבְּיָדוֹbe/ya/DOin his handוַתִּנָּתֶן־לוֹvat/tin/na/TEN-loand was given to himעֲטָרָהa/ta/RAa crownוַיֵּצֵאvay/ye/TSEand he went outכֹבֵשׁkho/VESHconqueringוְלִכְבֹּשׁ׃ve/likh/BOSHand to conquer

   And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

   וּכְפִתְחוֹu/khe/fit/CHOand when he openedאֶת־הַחוֹתָםet-ha/cho/TAMthe sealהַשֵּׁנִיhash/she/NIsecondוָאֶשְׁמַעva/esh/MAI heardאֶת־הַחַיָּהet-ha/chay/YAthe living creatureהַשֵּׁנִיתhash/she/NITsecondאֹמֶרֶתo/ME/retsayingבֹּאbocomeוּרְאֵה׃u/re/Eand see

   And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

4. 4

   וַיֵּצֵאvay/ye/TSEand went outסוּסsusa horseאַחֵרa/CHERanotherאָדֹםa/DOMredוְלַיֹּשֵׁבve/lay/yo/SHEVand to the one sittingעָלָיוa/LAYVon itנִתַּןnit/TANit was givenשִׁלְטוֹןshil/TONauthorityלָקַחַתla/KA/chatto takeאֶת־הַשָּׁלוֹםet-hash/sha/LOMpeaceמִן־הָאָרֶץmin-ha/A/retsfrom the earthלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיַהַרְגוּya/har/GUthey would killאִישׁisha manאֶת־אָחִיוet-a/CHIVhis brotherוַתִּנָּתֶן־לוֹvat/tin/na/TEN-loand was given to himחֶרֶבCHE/reva swordגְּדוֹלָה׃ge/do/LAgreat

   And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

   וּכְפִתְחוֹu/khe/fit/CHOand when he openedאֶת־הַחוֹתָםet-ha/cho/TAMthe sealהַשְּׁלִישִׁיhash/she/li/SHIthirdוָאֶשְׁמַעva/esh/MAI heardאֶת־הַחַיָּהet-ha/chay/YAthe living creatureהַשְּׁלִישִׁיתhash/she/li/SHITthirdאֹמֶרֶתo/ME/retsayingבֹּאbocomeוּרְאֵהu/re/Eand seeוָאֵרֶאva/E/reand I sawוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdסוּסsusa horseשָׁחֹרsha/CHORblackוְהַיֹּשֵׁבve/hay/yo/SHEVand the one sittingעָלָיוa/LAYVon himמֹאזְנַיִםmo/ze/NA/yimscalesבְּיָדוֹ׃be/ya/DOhad in his hand

   And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

   וָאֶשְׁמַעva/esh/MAand I heardקוֹלkola voiceמִתּוֹךְmit/TOKHfrom the midst ofאַרְבַּעar/BAthe fourהַחַיּוֹתha/chay/YOTliving creaturesאֹמֵרo/MERsayingסְאָהse/Aa seah ofחִטִּיםchit/TIMwheatבְּדִינָרbe/di/NARfor a denariusוְשָׁלֹשׁve/sha/LOSHand threeסְאִיםse/IMseahs ofשְׂעֹרִיםse/o/RIMbarleyבְּדִינָרbe/di/NARfor a denariusוְאֶת־הַשֶּׁמֶןve/ET-hash/SHE/menand the oilוְאֶת־הַיַּיִןve/ET-hay/YA/yinand the wineאַל־תָּרַע׃al-ta/RAdo not harm

   And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

   וּכְפִתְחוֹu/khe/fit/CHOand when he openedאֶת־הַחוֹתָםet-ha/cho/TAMthe sealהָרְבִיעִיha/re/vi/Ifourthוָאֶשְׁמַעva/esh/MAI heardאֶת־קוֹלet-kolthe voice ofהַחַיָּהha/chay/YAthe living creatureהָרְבִיעִיתha/re/vi/ITfourthאֹמֶרֶתo/ME/retsayingבֹּאbocomeוּרְאֵה׃u/re/Eand see

   And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

   וָאֵרֶאva/E/reand I sawוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdסוּסsusa horseיְרַקְרַקye/rak/RAKpale greenוְהַיֹּשֵׁבve/hay/yo/SHEVand the one sittingעָלָיוa/LAYVon itשְׁמוֹshe/MOhis nameמָוֶתMA/vetDeathוּשְׁאוֹלu/She/OLand Sheolהָלְכָהha/le/KHAwentלְרַגְלָיוle/rag/LAYVafter himוַיִּנָּתֵןvay/yin/na/TENand was givenלָהֶםla/HEMto themשִׁלְטוֹןshil/TONauthorityעַל־רְבִיעִיתal-re/vi/ITover a fourth ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthלְהָמִיתle/ha/MITto killבַּחֶרֶבba/CHE/revwith the swordוּבָרָעָבu/va/ra/AVand with famineוּבַמָּוֶתu/vam/MA/vetand with deathוּבְחַיַּתu/ve/chay/YATand by the beasts ofהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

   And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

9. 9

   וּכְפִתְחוֹu/khe/fit/CHOand when he openedאֶת־הַחוֹתָםet-ha/cho/TAMthe sealהַחֲמִישִׁיha/cha/mi/SHIfifthוָאֵרֶאva/E/reI sawמִתַּחַתmit/TA/chatunderלַמִּזְבֵּחַlam/miz/BE/achthe altarאֶת־נַפְשׁוֹתet-naf/SHOTthe souls ofהַטְּבוּחִיםhat/te/vu/CHIMthe slaughteredעַל־דְּבַרal-de/VARfor the word ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוְעַל־הָעֵדוּתve/AL-ha/e/DUTand for the testimonyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהֶחֱזִיקוּhe/che/ZI/kuthey heldבָהּ׃vait

   And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10. 10

    וַיִּזְעֲקוּvay/yiz/a/KUand they cried outבְּקוֹלbe/KOLwith a voiceגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingעַד־מָתַיad-ma/TAYhow longהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONO Lordהַקָּדוֹשׁhak/ka/DOSHholyוְהָאֲמִתִּיve/ha/a/mit/TIand trueלֹאlonotתִשְׁפֹּטtish/POTwill You judgeוְלֹא־תִקֹּםve/LO-tik/KOMand not avengeאֶת־דָּמֵינוּet-da/me/NUour bloodמִיֹּשְׁבֵיmiy/yosh/VEon the inhabitants ofהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

    And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11. 11

    וַיֻּתַּןvay/yut/TANand were givenלְכׇל־אֶחָדle/KHOL-e/CHADto each oneמֵהֶםme/HEMof themשִׂמְלָהsim/LAa robeלְבָנָהle/va/NAwhiteוַיֵּאָמֵרvay/ye/a/MERand it was saidלָהֶםla/HEMto themכִּיkithatיָנוּחוּya/NU/chuthey may restעוֹדodyetלַמִּצְעָרlam/mits/ARfor a little seasonעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִמָּלְאוּyim/ma/le/Ushould be completeגַּםgamalsoהָעֲבָדִיםha/a/va/DIMthe servantsעִמָּהֶםim/ma/HEMwith themוַאֲחֵיהֶםva/a/che/HEMand their brothersאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיֵהָרְגוּye/ha/re/GUwould be killedכְּמוֹהֶם׃ke/mo/HEMlike them

    And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

12. 12

    וָאֵרֶאva/E/reand I sawבְּפִתְחוֹbe/fit/CHOwhen he openedאֶת־הַחוֹתָםet-ha/cho/TAMthe sealהַשִּׁשִּׁיhash/shish/SHIsixthוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdרַעַשׁRA/ashan earthquakeגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatוַיִּקְדַּרvay/yik/DARand became darkהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunכְּשַׂקke/SAKlike sackcloth ofשֵׂעָרse/ARhairוְהַיָּרֵחַve/hay/ya/RE/achand the moonנֶהְפַּךְneh/PAKHwas turnedלְדָם׃le/DAMto blood

    And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13. 13

    וְכוֹכְבֵיve/khokh/VEand the stars ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensנָפְלוּna/fe/LUfellאָרְצָהAR/tsato the earthכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasתַּשְׁלִיךְtash/LIKHthrowsהַתְּאֵנָהhat/te/e/NAthe fig treeאֶת־פַּגֶּיהָet-pag/ge/HAits unripe figsבְּהִנָּעֲרָהּbe/hin/na/a/RAwhen it is shakenמֵרוּחַme/RU/achby a windחֲזָקָה׃cha/za/KAstrong

    And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14. 14

    וְהַשָּׁמַיִםve/hash/sha/MA/yimand the heavensמָשׁוּMA/shudepartedכְּסֵפֶרke/SE/ferlike a scrollנִגְלָלnig/LALrolled upוְכׇל־הַרve/KHOL-harand every mountainוָאִיva/Iand islandמִמְּקוֹמָםmim/me/ko/MAMfrom their placeנֶעְתָּקוּ׃ne/ta/KUwere moved

    And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15. 15

    וּמַלְכֵיu/mal/KHEand the kings ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְהַגְּדוֹלִיםve/hag/ge/do/LIMand the greatוְהָעֲשִׁירִיםve/ha/a/shi/RIMand the richוְשָׂרֵיve/sa/REand the commanders ofהָאֲלָפִיםha/a/la/FIMthe thousandsוְהַגִּבּוֹרִיםve/hag/gib/bo/RIMand the mightyוְכׇל־עֶבֶדve/KHOL-E/vedand every slaveוְכׇל־חׇפְשִׁיve/KHOL-chof/SHIand every free manהִתְחַבְּאוּhit/chab/be/Uhidבַּמְּעָרוֹתbam/me/a/ROTin the cavesוּבְסַלְעֵיu/ve/sal/Eand in the crags ofהֶהָרִים׃he/ha/RIMthe mountains

    And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16. 16

    וַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidאֶל־הֶהָרִיםel-he/ha/RIMto the mountainsוְאֶל־הַסְּלָעִיםve/EL-has/se/la/IMand to the rocksנִפְלוּnif/LUfallעָלֵינוּa/LE/nuon usוְהַסְתִּירוּנוּve/has/ti/ru/NUand hide usמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEfrom beforeהַיֹּשֵׁבhay/yo/SHEVthe one sittingעַל־הַכִּסֵּאal-hak/kis/SEon the throneוּמִפְּנֵיu/mip/pe/NEand from beforeחֲמַתcha/MATthe wrath ofהַשֶּׂה׃has/SEthe Lamb

    And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17. 17

    כִּיkiforבָאvahas comeיוֹםyomthe day ofאַפּוֹap/POhis wrathהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLgreatוּמִיu/MIand whoיוּכַלyu/KHALcanלַעֲמֹד׃la/a/MODto stand

    For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
