1. 1

   וַיִּנָּתֶן־לִיvay/yin/NA/ten-liand was given meקָנֶהka/NEa reedכְמַטֶּהkhe/mat/TElike a staffוַיַּעֲמֹדvay/ya/a/MODand stoodהַמַּלְאָךְham/mal/AKHthe angelלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingקוּםkumriseוּמֹדu/MODand measureאֶת־הֵיכַלet-he/KHALthe temple ofיְהוָֹהAdonaithe LORDוְאֶת־הַמִּזְבֵּחַve/ET-ham/miz/BE/achand the altarוְאֶת־הַמִּשְׁתַּחֲוִיםve/ET-ham/mish/ta/cha/VIMand those who bow downבּוֹ׃boin it

   And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

2. 2

   וְהֶחָצֵרve/he/cha/TSERand the courtאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isמִחוּץmi/CHUTSoutsideלַהֵיכָלla/he/KHALthe templeאֹתָהּo/TAitנְטֹשׁne/TOSHleaveוְאַל־תְּמֻדֶּנָּהve/AL-te/mud/den/NAand do not measure itכִּי־לַגּוֹיִםki-lag/go/YIMfor to the nationsנִתָּנָהnit/TA/nait is givenוְרָמְסוּve/ra/me/SUand they will trampleאֶת־עִירet-irthe city ofהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshholinessאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyוּשְׁנַיִםu/she/NA/yimand twoחֳדָשִׁים׃cho/da/SHIMmonths

   But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

3. 3

   וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will giveשִׁלְטוֹןshil/TONauthorityלִשְׁנֵיlish/NEto twoעֵדַיe/DAYmy witnessesוְנִבְּאוּve/nib/be/Uand they will prophesyאֶלֶףE/lefa thousandמָאתַיִםma/TA/yimtwo hundredוְשִׁשִּׁיםve/shish/SHIMand sixtyיוֹםyomdaysמְכֻסִּיםme/khus/SIMcoveredבַּשַּׂקִּים׃bas/sak/KIMin sackcloth

   And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

   אֵלֶּהEL/letheseהֵםhemareשְׁנֵיshe/NEthe twoהַזֵּיתִיםhaz/ze/TIMolive treesוּשְׁתֵּיush/TEand the twoהַמְּנֹרוֹתham/me/no/ROTlampstandsהָעֹמְדִיםha/om/DIMthat standלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

   These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

5. 5

   וְכִי־יְבַקֵּשׁve/KHI-ye/vak/KESHand if seeksאִישׁisha manלְהָרַעle/ha/RAto harmלָהֶםla/HEMthemאֵשׁeshfireיֹצֵאתyo/TSETgoes outמִפִּיהֶםmip/pi/HEMfrom their mouthוְאֹכֶלֶתve/o/KHE/letand devoursאֶת־אֹיְבֵיהֶםet-oy/ve/HEMtheir enemiesוְאִם־יְבַקֵּשׁve/IM-ye/vak/KESHand if seeksאִישׁishany manלְהָרַעle/ha/RAto harmלָהֶםla/HEMthemכָּכָהKA/khasoיֵהָרֵג׃ye/ha/REGhe will be killed

   And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

   וְהֵםve/HEMand theyיֶשׁ־לְאֵלyesh-le/ELit is in the power ofיָדָםya/DAMtheir handלַעֲצֹרla/a/TSORto shutאֶת־הַשָּׁמַיִםet-hash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוְלֹא־יִהְיֶהve/LO-yih/YEso that there will not beמָטָרma/TARrainבִּימֵיbi/MEin the days ofנְבוּאָתָםne/vu/a/TAMtheir prophecyוְיִשְׁלְטוּve/yish/le/TUand they have authorityעַל־הַמַּיִםal-ham/MA/yimover the watersלְהָפְכָםle/ha/fe/KHAMto turn themלְדָםle/DAMto bloodוְעַל־הָאָרֶץve/AL-ha/A/retsand over the earthלְהַכֹּתָהּle/hak/ko/TAto strike itבְּכׇל־מַכָּהbe/KHOL-mak/KAwith every plagueמִדֵּיmid/DEas often asיֶחְפָּצוּ׃yech/PA/tsuthey want

   These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

   וּבְכַלּוֹתָםu/ve/khal/lo/TAMand when they finishעֵדוּתָםe/du/TAMtheir testimonyהַחַיָּהha/chay/YAthe beastהָעֹלָהha/o/LAthat comes upמִן־הַתְּהוֹםmin-hat/te/HOMfrom the deepתַּעֲשֶׂהta/a/SEwill makeעִמָּהֶםim/ma/HEMwith themמִלְחָמָהmil/cha/MAwarוְתִכְבְּשֵׁםve/tikh/be/SHEMand will overcome themוַהֲרָגָתַם׃va/ha/ra/GA/tamand kill them

   And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8. 8

   וְהָיְתָהve/ha/ye/TAand will beנִבְלָתָםniv/la/TAMtheir corpseבִּרְחוֹבbir/CHOVin the street ofהָעִירha/IRthe cityהַגְּדוֹלָהhag/ge/do/LAgreatהַנִּקְרֵאתhan/nik/RETthat is calledכְּפִיke/FIaccording toהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe spiritבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMby nameסְדוֹםSe/DOMSodomוּמִצְרַיִםu/Mits/RA/yimand Egyptאֲשֶׁר־שָׁםa/SHER-shamwhere alsoנִצְלַבnits/LAVwas crucifiedגַּם־אֲדֹנֵינוּ׃gam-a/do/NE/nualso our Lord

   And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

   וּמִן־הָעַמִּיםu/MIN-ha/am/MIMand from the peoplesוְהַמִּשְׁפָּחוֹתve/ham/mish/pa/CHOTand the familiesוְהַלְּשֹׁנוֹתve/hal/le/sho/NOTand tonguesוְהַגּוֹיִםve/hag/go/YIMand nationsיִרְאוּyir/Uwill seeאֶת־נִבְלָתָםet-niv/la/TAMtheir corpseשְׁלֹשֶׁתshe/LO/shetthreeיָמִיםya/MIMdaysוָחֵצִיva/CHE/tsiand a halfוְלֹאve/LOand notיִתְּנוּyit/te/NUwill they allowלָשׂוּםla/SUMto putאֶת־נִבְלָתָםet-niv/la/TAMtheir corpseבַּקְּבָרִים׃bak/ke/va/RIMin graves

   And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

    וְיֹשְׁבֵיve/yosh/VEand the inhabitants ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthיִשְׂמְחוּyis/me/CHUwill rejoiceעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMover themוְיַעַלְזוּve/ya/al/ZUand exultוְיִשְׁלְחוּve/yish/le/CHUand will sendמָנוֹתma/NOTgiftsאִישׁisha manלְרֵעֵהוּle/re/E/huto his neighborכִּיkiforשְׁנֵיshe/NEthe twoהַנְּבִיאִיםhan/ne/vi/IMthe prophetsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseהִכְאִיבוּhikh/i/VUpainedאֶת־יֹשְׁבֵיet-yosh/VEthe inhabitants ofהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

    And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11. 11

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it wasאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterיָמִיםya/MIMdaysשְׁלֹשָׁהshe/lo/SHAthreeוָחֵצִיva/CHE/tsiand a halfוַתָּבֹאvat/ta/VOand cameבָהֶםva/HEMinto themרוּחַRU/achthe breath ofחַיִּיםchay/YIMlifeמֵאֵתme/ETfromהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוַיַּעַמְדוּvay/ya/am/DUand they stood upעַל־רַגְלֵיהֶםal-rag/le/HEMon their feetוְאֵימָהve/e/MAand dreadגְדוֹלָהge/do/LAgreatנָפְלָהna/fe/LAfellעַל־כׇּל־רֹאֵיהֶם׃al-kol-ro/e/HEMon all who saw them

    And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

12. 12

    וַיִּשְׁמְעוּvay/yish/me/Uand they heardקוֹלkola voiceגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatמִן־הַשָּׁמַיִםmin-hash/sha/MA/yimfrom heavenאֹמֵרo/MERsayingאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themעֲלוּa/LUcome upהֵנָּהHEN/nahereוַיַּעֲלוּvay/ya/a/LUand they went upהַשָּׁמַיְמָהhash/sha/MAY/mato heavenבֶּעָנָןbe/a/NANin the cloudוְאֹיְבֵיהֶםve/oy/ve/HEMand their enemiesרָאוּra/Usawאֹתָם׃o/TAMthem

    And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

13. 13

    וּבַשָּׁעָהu/vash/sha/Aand in the hourהַהִיאha/HIthatהָיָהha/YAthere wasרַעַשׁRA/ashan earthquakeגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatוַתִּפֹּלvat/tip/POLand fellעֲשִׂירִיתa/si/RITa tenth ofהָעִירha/IRthe cityוַיֵּהָרְגוּvay/ye/ha/re/GUand were killedבָרַעַשׁva/RA/ashin the earthquakeשִׁבְעַתshiv/ATsevenאַלְפֵיal/FEthousands ofאָדָםa/DAMmenוְהַנִּשְׁאָרִיםve/han/nish/a/RIMand those who remainedרְעָדָהre/a/DAtremblingאֲחָזָתַםa/cha/ZA/tamseized themוַיִּתְּנוּvay/yit/te/NUand they gaveכָבוֹדkha/VODgloryלֵאלֹהֵיle/lo/HEto the God ofהַשָּׁמָיִם׃hash/sha/MA/yimthe heavens

    And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14. 14

    אוֹיoywoeהַשֵּׁנִיhash/she/NIthe secondחָלַףcha/LAFhas passedהָלַךְha/LAKHgoneלוֹloawayוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאוֹיoywoeהַשְּׁלִישִׁיhash/she/li/SHIthe thirdבָּאbais comingמַהֵר׃ma/HERquickly

    The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

15. 15

    וְהַמַּלְאָךְve/ham/mal/AKHand the angelהַשְּׁבִיעִיhash/she/vi/Iseventhתָּקַעta/KAblewוַיְהִיvay/HIand there wereקוֹלוֹתko/LOTvoicesגְּדוֹלִיםge/do/LIMgreatבַּשָּׁמַיִםbash/sha/MA/yimin heavenלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingמַמְלְכוֹתmam/le/KHOTthe kingdoms ofהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisהָיוּha/YUhave becomeמַמְלְכוֹתmam/le/KHOTthe kingdoms ofאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour Lordוּמְשִׁיחוֹu/Me/shi/CHOand of His Messiahוְהוּאve/HUand heיִמְלֹךְyim/LOKHwill reignלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverוָעֶד׃va/EDand ever

    And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

16. 16

    וְעֶשְׂרִיםve/es/RIMand twentyוְאַרְבָּעָהve/ar/ba/Aand fourהַזְּקֵנִיםhaz/ze/ke/NIMthe eldersהַיֹּשְׁבִיםhay/yosh/VIMwho sitלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodעַל־כִּסְאוֹתָםal-kis/o/TAMon their thronesנָפְלוּna/fe/LUfellעַל־פְּנֵיהֶםal-pe/ne/HEMupon their facesוַיִּשְׁתַּחֲווּvay/yish/ta/cha/VUand bowed down toלֵאלֹהִים׃le/lo/HIMGod

    And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

17. 17

    לֵאמֹרle/MORsayingמוֹדִיםmo/DIMgive thanksאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweלְךָle/KHAto Youהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONO Lordאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאַתָּהat/TAYou areוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERandהָיִיתָha/YI/tawereוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERandתָּבוֹאta/VOwill comeכִּיkiforלָקַחְתָּla/KACH/taYou have takenאֶת־גְּבוּרָתְךָet-ge/vu/ra/te/KHAYour mightהַגְּדוֹלָהhag/ge/do/LAgreatוַתִּמְלֹךְ׃vat/tim/LOKHand have reigned

    Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

18. 18

    וְהַגּוֹיִםve/hag/go/YIMand the nationsקָצָפוּka/tsa/FUwere enragedוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand has comeקֶצְפְּךָkets/pe/KHAYour wrathוְעֵתve/ETand the timeהַמֵּתִיםham/me/TIMthe deadלְהִשָּׁפֵטle/hish/sha/FETto be judgedוְלָתֵתve/la/TETand to giveשָׂכָרsa/KHARa rewardלַעֲבָדֶיךָla/a/va/DE/khato Your servantsהַנְּבִיאִיםhan/ne/vi/IMthe prophetsוְלַקְּדֹשִׁיםve/lak/ke/do/SHIMand to the saintsוּלְיִרְאֵיu/le/yir/Eand to those who fearשְׁמֶךָshe/ME/khaYour nameהַקְּטַנִּיםhak/ke/tan/NIMthe smallעִם־הַגְּדֹלִיםim-hag/ge/do/LIMwith the greatוּלְהַשְׁחִיתu/le/hash/CHITand to destroyאֶת־מַשְׁחִיתֵיet-mash/chi/TEthose who destroyהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

    And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

19. 19

    וַיִּפָּתַחvay/yip/PA/tachand was openedהֵיכַלhe/KHALthe temple ofיְהוָֹהAdonaithe LORDבַּשָּׁמַיִםbash/sha/MA/yimin heavenוַיֵּרָאvay/ye/RAand there was seenאֲרוֹןa/RONthe ark ofבְּרִיתוֹbe/ri/TOHis covenantבְּהֵיכָלוֹbe/he/kha/LOin His templeוַיְהִיvay/HIand there wereבְּרָקִיםbe/ra/KIMlightningsוְקֹלוֹתve/ko/LOTand voicesוּרְעָמִיםu/re/a/MIMand thundersוְרַעַשׁve/RA/ashand an earthquakeוּבָרָדu/va/RADand hailגָּדוֹל׃ga/DOLgreat

    And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
