   The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

   אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהֵעִידhe/IDtestified toדְּבַרde/VARthe word ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוְעֵדוּתve/e/DUTand the testimony ofיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahוְאֶת־כֹּלve/ET-koland allאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatרָאָה׃ra/Ahe saw

   Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

   אַשְׁרֵיash/REblessed isהַקּוֹרֵאhak/ko/REthe one who readsוְאַשְׁרֵיve/ash/REand blessed areהַשֹּׁמְעִיםhash/shom/IMthose who hearאֶת־דִּבְרֵיet-div/REthe words ofהַנְּבוּאָהhan/ne/vu/Athe prophecyהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisוְשֹׁמְרִיםve/shom/RIMand keepאֶת־הַכָּתוּבet-hak/ka/TUVwhat is writtenבָּהּbain itכִּיkiforקְרוֹבָהke/ro/VAis nearהָעֵת׃ha/ETthe time

   Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

   John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

   וּמֵאֵת־יֵשׁוּעַu/Me/ET-ye/SHU/aand from Jesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahהָעֵדha/EDthe witnessהַנֶּאֱמָןhan/ne/e/MANfaithfulוּבְכוֹרu/ve/KHORand the firstborn ofהַמֵּתִיםham/me/TIMthe deadוְשַׂרve/SARand the prince ofמַלְכֵיmal/KHEthe kings ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthלַאֲשֶׁרla/a/SHERto him whoאָהַבa/HAVlovedאֹתָנוּo/TA/nuusוַיְכַבְּסֵנוּvay/khab/be/se/NUand washed usמֵחַטֹּאתֵינוּme/chat/to/TE/nufrom our sinsבְּדָמוֹ׃be/da/MOin his blood

   And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

   וַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand madeאֹתָנוּo/TA/nuusמְלָכִיםme/la/KHIMkingsוְכֹהֲנִיםve/kho/ha/NIMand priestsלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godוְלַאֲבִיוve/La/a/VIVand to his Fatherלוֹloto himהַכָּבוֹדhak/ka/VODthe gloryוְהַמֶּמְשָׁלָהve/ham/mem/sha/LAand the dominionלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverוָעֶדva/EDand everאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

   And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

   הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdהוּאhuheבָאvacomesעִם־עֲנָנִיםim-a/na/NIMwith cloudsוְרָאֲתָהve/ra/a/TAand will seeאֹתוֹo/TOhimכׇּל־עַיִןkol-A/yinevery eyeוְגַםve/GAMand alsoאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoדְּקָרֻהוּde/ka/ru/HUpierced himוְסָפְדוּve/sa/fe/DUand will mournעָלָיוa/LAYVfor himכׇּל־מִשְׁפְּחוֹתkol-mish/pe/CHOTall the families ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthכֵּןkensoאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

   Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

   I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

   I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

    וָאֱהִיva/e/HIand I wasבָרוּחַVa/RU/achin the Spiritבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the day ofהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordוָאֶשְׁמַעva/esh/MAand I heardאַחֲרַיa/cha/RAYbehind meקוֹלkola voiceגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatכְּקוֹלke/KOLlike the sound ofשׁוֹפָר׃sho/FARa trumpet

    I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

    Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

    וָאֵפֶןva/E/fenand I turnedלִרְאוֹתlir/OTto seeאֶת־הַקּוֹלet-hak/KOLthe voiceהַמְדַבֵּרham/dab/BERthat spokeעִמִּיim/MIwith meוַיְהִיvay/HIand it wasבִּפְנוֹתִיbif/no/TIwhen I turnedוָאֵרֶאva/E/reI sawשֶׁבַעSHE/vasevenמְנֹרוֹתme/no/ROTlampstands ofזָהָב׃za/HAVgold

    And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

13. 13

    וּבְתוֹךְu/ve/TOKHand in the midst ofשֶׁבַעSHE/vathe sevenהַמְּנֹרוֹתham/me/no/ROTlampstandsכְּבֶן־הָאָדָםke/VEN-ha/a/DAMone like the Son of manלָבוּשׁla/VUSHclothed inמְעִילme/ILa robeעַד־רַגְלָיוad-rag/LAYVto his feetוְחָגוּרve/cha/GURand girded withעַל־שָׁדָיוal-sha/DAYVaround his chestאֵזוֹרe/ZORa belt ofזָהָב׃za/HAVgold

    And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

14. 14

    וְרֹאשׁוֹve/ro/SHOand his headוּשְׂעָרוֹu/se/a/ROand his hairלְבָנִיםle/va/NIMwhiteכְּצֶמֶרke/TSE/merlike woolצַחַרTSA/charwhiteכַּשָּׁלֶגkash/SHA/leglike snowוְעֵינָיוve/e/NAYVand his eyesכְּלַבַּתke/lab/BATlike a flame ofאֵשׁ׃eshfire

    His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

15. 15

    וּמַרְגְּלֹתָיוu/mar/ge/lo/TAYVand his feetכְּעֵיןke/ENlike the gleam ofנְחֹשֶׁתne/CHO/shetbronzeקָלָלka/LALburnishedכְּבֹעֲרוֹתke/vo/a/ROTas burningבַּכּוּרbak/KURin a furnaceוְקוֹלוֹve/ko/LOand his voiceכְּקוֹלke/KOLlike the sound ofמַיִםMA/yimwatersרַבִּים׃rab/BIMmany

    And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

16. 16

    וּבְיַד־יְמִינוֹu/ve/YAD-ye/mi/NOand in his right handשִׁבְעָהshiv/Asevenכוֹכָבִיםkho/kha/VIMstarsוּמִפִּיוu/mip/PIVand from his mouthיָצְאָהya/tse/Awent outחֶרֶבCHE/reva sword ofפִּיפִיּוֹתpi/fiy/YOTtwo edgesחַדָּהchad/DAsharpוּמַרְאֵהוּu/mar/E/huand his appearanceכַּשֶּׁמֶשׁkash/SHE/meshlike the sunהַמֵּאִירham/ME/irshiningבִּגְבוּרָתוֹ׃big/vu/ra/TOin its might

    And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

17. 17

    וְכִרְאוֹתִיve/khir/o/TIand sawאֹתוֹo/TOhimוָאֶפֹּלva/ep/POLand I fellלְרַגְלָיוle/rag/LAYVat his feetכְּמֵתke/METas deadוַיָּשֶׁתvay/YA/shetand he setאֶת־יְמִינוֹet-ye/mi/NOhis right handעָלַיa/LAYon meוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meאַל־תִּירָאal-ti/RAdo not fearאֲנִיa/NII amהָרִאשׁוֹןha/ri/SHONthe firstוְהָאַחֲרוֹן׃ve/ha/a/cha/RONand the last

    And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

18. 18

    אֲנִיa/NII amהוּאhuheהַחַיha/CHAYwho livesוָאֱהִיva/e/HIand I wasמֵתmetdeadוְהִנְנִיve/hin/NIand behold I amחַיchayaliveעַד־עוֹלָםad-o/LAMforeverאָמֵןa/MENamenוּבְיָדִיu/ve/ya/DIand in my handמַפְתְּחוֹתmaf/te/CHOTthe keys ofשְׁאוֹלShe/OLSheolוָמָוֶת׃va/MA/vetand death

    I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

19. 19

    כְּתֹבke/TOVwriteאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthatרָאִיתָra/I/tayou sawוְאֵתve/ETandאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהֵנָּהHEN/naareוְאֵתve/ETandאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיִהְיוּyih/YUthey will beאַחֲרֵי־כֵן׃a/cha/RE-khenafter this

    Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

20. 20

    אֶת־סוֹדet-sodthe secret ofשִׁבְעַתshiv/ATthe sevenהַכּוֹכָבִיםhak/ko/kha/VIMstarsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatרָאִיתָra/I/tayou sawבִימִינִיvi/mi/NIin my right handוְאֶת־שֶׁבַעve/ET-SHE/vaand the sevenמְנֹרוֹתme/no/ROTlampstands ofהַזָּהָבhaz/za/HAVgoldשִׁבְעַתshiv/ATthe sevenהַכּוֹכָבִיםhak/ko/kha/VIMstarsהֵםhemareמַלְאֲכֵיmal/a/KHEthe angels ofשֶׁבַעSHE/vathe sevenהַקְּהִלּוֹתhak/ke/hil/LOTchurchesוְשֶׁבַעve/SHE/vaand the sevenהַמְּנֹרוֹתham/me/no/ROTlampstandsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatרָאִיתָra/I/tayou sawשֶׁבַעSHE/vasevenקְהִלּוֹתke/hil/LOTchurchesהֵנָּה׃HEN/naare they

    The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
