   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאִם־יֵשׁim-yeshif there isנֶחָמָהne/cha/MAcomfortבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahאִם־תַּנְחוּמוֹתim-tan/chu/MOTif consolations ofהָאַהֲבָהha/a/ha/VAloveאִם־חֶבְרַתim-chev/RATif fellowship ofרוּחַRU/achthe Spiritאִם־רַחֲמִיםim-ra/cha/MIMif merciesוְחֶמְלָה׃ve/chem/LAand compassion

   If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

   Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

   וְאַל־תַּעֲשׂוּve/AL-ta/a/SUand do not doדָבָרda/VARanythingבִּמְרִיבָהbim/ri/VAin strifeאוֹoorכְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory ofשָׁוְאshavemptinessכִּיkibutאִם־בְּשִׁפְלוּתim-be/shif/LUTrather in lowliness ofרוּחַRU/achspiritיַחְשֹׁבyach/SHOVlet esteemאִישׁisheachאֶת־רֵעֵהוּet-re/E/huhis neighborטוֹבtovbetterמִמֶּנּוּ׃mim/MEN/nuthan himself

   Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

   אַל־יַבִּיטal-yab/BITlet not lookאִישׁisheachאֶל־אֲשֶׁרel-a/SHERto whatלוֹlohis ownכִּיkibutאִם־גַּםim-gamrather alsoאִישׁisheachאֶל־אֲשֶׁרel-a/SHERto whatלַאֲחֵרִים׃la/a/che/RIMof others

   Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

   וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisתִּהְיֶהtih/YEbeהַמַּחֲשָׁבָהham/ma/cha/sha/VAthe mindבָכֶםva/KHEMin youאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהָיְתָהha/ye/TAwasגַּםgamalsoבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahיֵשׁוּעַ׃Ye/SHU/aJesus

   Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

   אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoבִּהְיוֹתוֹbih/yo/TObeingבְּתֹאַרbe/TO/arin the form ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodלֹאlonotחָשַׁבcha/SHAVcountedלְגָזֵלle/ga/ZELas robberyהֱיוֹתוֹhe/yo/TOhis beingשָׁוֶהsha/VEequalלֵאלֹהִים׃le/lo/HIMto God

   Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7. 7

   כִּיkibutאִם־הֶעֱרָהim-he/e/RArather emptiedאֶת־נַפְשׁוֹet-naf/SHOhimselfוַיִּקַּחvay/yik/KACHand tookתֹּאַרTO/arformעֶבֶדE/veda servantוַיְהִיvay/HIand he wasבִּדְמוּתbid/MUTin the likeness ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofאָדָם׃a/DAMman

   But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

   וּבְהִמָּצְאוֹu/ve/him/ma/tse/Oand when he was foundבִּתְכוּנָהbit/khu/NAin appearanceכְּאָדָםke/a/DAMas a manהִשְׁפִּילhish/PILhe humbledאֶת־נַפְשׁוֹet-naf/SHOhimselfוַיִּשְׁמַעvay/yish/MAand obeyedעַד־מָוֶתad-MA/vetto deathוְאַףve/AFevenמוֹתmotthe death ofהַצְּלוּב׃hats/tse/LUVthe crucified one

   And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeגַּם־הָאֱלֹהִיםgam-ha/e/lo/HIMGod alsoהִגְבִּיהוֹhig/bi/HOexalted himמְאֹדme/ODgreatlyוַיִּתֵּן־לוֹvay/yit/TEN-loand gave himשֵׁםshema nameנַעֲלֶהna/a/LEexaltedעַל־כׇּל־שֵׁם׃al-kol-shemabove every name

   Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMat the name ofיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusכׇּל־בֶּרֶךְkol-BE/rekhevery kneeתִּכְרַעtikh/RAwill bowגַּםgambothבַּשָּׁמַיִםbash/sha/MA/yimin heavenוְגַםve/GAMandבָּאָרֶץba/A/retson the earthוּמִתַּחַתu/mit/TA/chatand beneathלָאָרֶץ׃la/A/retsthe earth

    That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

    וְכׇל־לָשׁוֹןve/KHOL-la/SHONand every tongueתּוֹדֶהto/DEwill confessכִּיkithatיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahהוּאhuisאָדוֹןa/DONLordלִכְבוֹדlikh/VODto the glory ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodהָאָב׃ha/AVthe Father

    And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeיְדִידַיye/di/DAYmy belovedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasשְׁמַעְתֶּםshe/ma/TEMyou listenedתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysלֹאlonotכְּבִהְיוֹתִיke/vih/yo/TIas in my being presentעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMwith youלְבַדle/VADonlyכִּיkibutאִם־עַתָּהim-at/TArather nowיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreמְאֹדme/ODmuchבִּהְיוֹתִיbih/yo/TIwhen I amרָחוֹקra/CHOKfarפְּעַלוּpe/a/LUwork outיְשׁוּעַתְכֶםye/shu/at/KHEMyour salvationבְּיִרְאָהbe/yir/Awith fearוּרְעָדָה׃u/re/a/DAand trembling

    Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

    כִּיkiforהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodהוּאhuisהַפֹּעֵלhap/Po/ELthe One who worksבָּכֶםba/KHEMin youגַּם־לַחְפֹּץgam-lach/POTSboth to desireגַּם־לִפְעֹלgam-lif/OLand to workכְּפִיke/FIaccording toרְצוֹנוֹ׃re/tso/NOHis will

    For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

14. 14

    עֲשׂוּa/SUdoכׇּל־דָּבָרkol-da/VAReverythingבְּלֹאbe/LOwithoutתְלֻנּוֹתte/lun/NOTmurmuringsוּבְלֹאu/ve/LOand withoutתוֹכָחוֹת׃to/kha/CHOTarguments

    Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

15. 15

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatתִּהְיוּtih/YUyou may beנְקִיִּםne/kiy/YIMinnocentוּתְמִימִיםu/te/mi/MIMand blamelessבְּנֵיbe/NEsons ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֵין־מוּםen-mumwithout blemishבָּםbamin themבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midst ofדּוֹרdora generationעִקֵּשׁik/KESHperverseוּפְתַלְתֹּלu/fe/tal/TOLand crookedאֲשֶׁר־תָּאִירוּa/SHER-ta/i/RUthat you shineבֵינֵיהֶםve/ne/HEMamong themכִּמְאוֹרֹתkim/o/ROTas lightsבָּעוֹלָם׃ba/o/LAMin the world

    That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

16. 16

    מַחֲזִיקִיםma/cha/zi/KIMholdingבִּדְבַרbid/VARto the word ofהַחַיִּיםha/chay/YIMlifeלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatאֶתְהַלֵּלet/hal/LELI may boastבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahכִּיkithatלֹאlonotלָרִיקla/RIKfor nothingרַצְתִּיRATS/tiI ranוְלֹאve/LOand notלָרִיקla/RIKin vainיָגַעְתִּי׃ya/GA/tiI labored

    Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

17. 17

    וְאַףve/AFand evenכִּי־אֻסַּךְki-us/SAKHif I am poured outעַל־זֶבַחal-ZE/vachupon the sacrifice ofוַעֲבֹדַתva/a/vo/DATand the service ofאֱמוּנַתְכֶםe/mu/nat/KHEMyour faithשָׂמֵחַsa/ME/achrejoiceאֲנִיa/NIIוְשָׂשׂve/SASand exultעִם־כֻּלְּכֶם׃im-kul/le/KHEMwith all of you

    Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.

18. 18

    וְכָכָהve/KHA/khaand soשִׂמְחוּsim/CHUrejoiceאַף־אַתֶּםaf-at/TEMyou tooוְשִׂישׂוּve/SI/suand exultעִמָּדִי׃im/ma/DIwith me

    For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.

19. 19

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIbut Iמְקַוֶּהme/kav/VEI hopeבָּאָדוֹןba/a/DONin the LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusלִשְׁלֹחַlish/LO/achto sendאֶת־טִימוֹתִיּוֹסet-Ti/mo/tiy/YOSTimotheusבִּמְהֵרָהbim/he/RAsoonאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatאֶנָּחֵםen/na/CHEMI may be comfortedגַּם־אָנִיgam-A/niI alsoבְּדַעְתִּיbe/da/TIwhen I knowאֶת־שְׁלוֹמְכֶם׃et-she/lom/KHEMyour welfare

    But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.

20. 20

    כִּיkiforאֵין־אִתִּיen-it/TIthere is not with meאִישׁisha manכִּלְבָבִיkil/va/VIas my heartאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoבְּלֵבbe/LEVwith a heartשָׁלֵםsha/LEMwholeיִדְאַגyid/AGwill careלִשְׁלוֹמְכֶם׃lish/lom/KHEMafter your peace

    For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.

21. 21

    כִּיkiforכֻלָּםkhul/LAMall of themאֶת־אֲשֶׁר־לָהֶםet-a/SHER-la/HEMwhat is theirsיִדְרְשׁוּyid/re/SHUseekוְלֹאve/LOand notאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhat isלְיֵשׁוּעַle/Ye/SHU/aof Jesusהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.

22. 22

    וְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMbut youיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowאֶת־בׇּחְנוֹet-boch/NOhis proofכִּיkithatכְּבֵןke/VENas a sonעִם־הָאָבim-Ha/AVwith the Fatherעָבַדa/VADservedאִתִּיit/TIwith meבַּבְּשׂוֹרָה׃bab/be/so/RAin the gospel

    But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.

23. 23

    וְאֹתוֹve/o/TOand himאֲקַוֶּהa/kav/VEI hopeלִשְׁלֹחַlish/LO/achto sendמַהֵרma/HERquicklyכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERas soon asאֶרְאֶהer/EI seeמַה־יִּהְיֶהma-yih/YEwhat will beלִי׃liwith me

    Him therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.

24. 24

    וּבָטַחְתִּיu/va/TACH/tiand I trustבָאָדוֹןva/a/DONin the Lordכִּיkithatגַּם־אָנֹכִיgam-a/no/KHII alsoאָבוֹאa/VOwill comeבִּמְהֵרָה׃bim/he/RAsoon

    But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.

25. 25

    וְחָשַׁבְתִּיve/cha/SHAV/tiand I thoughtכִּיkithatעָלַיa/LAYon meלִשְׁלֹחַlish/LO/achto sendאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youאֶת־אֶפַּפְרוֹדִיטוֹסet-Ep/paf/ro/di/TOSEpaphroditusאָחִיa/CHImy brotherוְעֹזְרִיve/oz/RIand my helperוַחֲבֵרִיva/cha/ve/RIand my companionבַצָּבָאvats/tsa/VAin the armyוְהוּאve/HUand he isשְׁלִיחֲכֶםshe/li/cha/KHEMyour messengerוְהַמְשָׁרֵתve/ham/sha/RETand the ministerלְמַחְסוֹרִי׃le/mach/so/RIfor my need

    Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.

26. 26

    כִּיkiforהָיָהha/YAhe wasנִכְסָףnikh/SAFlongingלְכֻלְּכֶםle/khul/le/KHEMfor all of youוְנֶעְצָבve/ne/TSAVand distressedמְאֹדme/ODgreatlyעַל־אֲשֶׁרal-a/SHERbecauseשְׁמַעְתֶּםshe/ma/TEMyou heardכִּיkithatחָלָה׃cha/LAhe was sick

    For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.

27. 27

    כִּיkibutאׇמְנָםom/NAMindeedחָלֹהcha/LOsickחָלָהcha/LAhe was sickוְנָטָהve/na/TAand was nearלָמוּתla/MUTto dieאֲבָלa/VALbutהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodחָנַןcha/NANwas gracious toאֹתוֹo/TOhimוְלֹאve/LOand notאֹתוֹo/TOhimלְבַדle/VADonlyכִּיkibutאִם־גַּםim-gamrather alsoאֹתִיo/TImeפֶּןpenlestיָבוֹאya/VOwould comeעָלַיa/LAYon meיָגוֹןya/GONsorrowעַל־יָגוֹן׃al-ya/GONupon sorrow

    For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

28. 28

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeבַּחֲרִיצוּתba/cha/ri/TSUTwith diligenceיְתֵרָהye/te/RAmoreשְׁלַחְתִּיוshe/lach/TIVI sent himלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatבִּרְאוֹתְכֶםbir/ot/KHEMwhen you seeאֹתוֹo/TOhimעוֹדodagainתִּשְׂמְחוּtis/me/CHUyou may rejoiceוְיִמְעַטve/yim/ATand may be lessenedיְגוֹנִי׃ye/go/NImy sorrow

    I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.

29. 29

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeקַבְּלֻהוּkab/be/lu/HUreceive himבָאָדוֹןva/a/DONin the Lordבְּכׇל־שִׂמְחָהbe/KHOL-sim/CHAwith all joyוְהוֹקִירוּve/ho/ki/RUand honorאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenכָּאֵלֶּה׃ka/EL/lesuch

    Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation:

30. 30

    כִּיkibecauseבְעַדve/ADfor the sake ofמַעֲשֵׂהma/a/SEthe work ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahהִגִּיעַhig/GI/ahe reachedעַד־מָוֶתad-MA/vetto deathוַתֵּקַלvat/te/KALand was lightנַפְשׁוֹnaf/SHOhis lifeבְּעֵינָיוbe/e/NAYVin his eyesלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיְמַלֵּאye/mal/LEhe might fillאֶת־חֶסְרוֹנְכֶםet-ches/ron/KHEMyour lack ofבְּשָׁרֶתְכֶםbe/sha/ret/KHEMin your servingאוֹתִי׃o/TIme

    Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
