1. 1

   אַל־תִּשְׁפֹטוּal-tish/fo/TUdo not judgeלְמַעַןle/MA/ansoאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotתִּשָּׁפֵטוּ׃tish/sha/fe/TUyou will be judged

   Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2. 2

   כִּיkiforבַמִּשְׁפָּטvam/mish/PATwith the judgmentאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאַתֶּםat/TEMyouשֹׁפְטִיםshof/TIMjudgeתִּשָּׁפֵטוּtish/sha/fe/TUyou will be judgedוּבַמִּדָּהu/vam/mid/DAand with the measureאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאַתֶּםat/TEMyouמֹדֲדִיםmo/da/DIMmeasureיִמַּדyim/MADwill be measuredלָכֶם׃la/KHEMto you

   For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

   וְלָמָּהve/LAM/maand whyזֶּהzethisתִרְאֶהtir/Edo you seeאֶת־הַקֵּיסָםet-hak/ke/SAMthe splinterבְּעֵיןbe/ENin the eye ofאָחִיךָa/CHI/khayour brotherוְאֶל־הַקּוֹרָהve/EL-hak/ko/RAand at the beamאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isבְּעֵינְךָbe/e/ne/KHAin your eyeלֹאlonotתַבִּיט׃tab/BITlook

   And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

   וְאֵיךְve/EKHand howתֹּאמַרto/MARwill you sayאֶל־אָחִיךָel-a/CHI/khato your brotherהַנִּיחָהhan/NI/chaallowלִּיlimeוְאָסִירve/a/SIRand I will removeאֶת־הַקֵּיסָםet-hak/ke/SAMthe splinterמֵעֵינֶךָme/e/NE/khafrom your eyeוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdהַקּוֹרָהhak/ko/RAthe beamבְּעֵינֶךָ׃be/e/NE/khain your eye

   Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

   הֶחָנֵףhe/cha/NEFhypocriteהָסֵרha/SERremoveבָּרִאשׁוֹנָהba/ri/sho/NAfirstאֶת־הַקּוֹרָהet-hak/ko/RAthe beamמֵעֵינְךָme/e/ne/KHAfrom your eyeוְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterכֵןkhenthatרָאֹהra/Oseeתִרְאֶהtir/Eyou will seeלְהָסִירle/ha/SIRto removeאֶת־הַקֵּיסָםet-hak/ke/SAMthe splinterמֵעֵיןme/ENfrom the eye ofאָחִיךָ׃a/CHI/khayour brother

   Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

   אַל־תִּתְּנוּal-tit/te/NUdo not giveאֶת־הַקֹּדֶשׁet-hak/KO/deshthe holy thingלַכְּלָבִיםlak/ke/la/VIMto the dogsוְאַל־תַּשְׁלִיכוּve/AL-tash/li/KHUand do not throwפְנִינֵיכֶםfe/ni/ne/KHEMyour pearlsלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַחֲזִירִיםha/cha/zi/RIMthe pigsפֶּן־יִרְמְסוּםpen-yir/me/SUMlest they trample themבְּרַגְלֵיהֶםbe/rag/le/HEMwith their feetוּפָנוּu/fa/NUand turnוְטָרְפוּve/ta/re/FUand tearאֶתְכֶם׃et/KHEMyou

   Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

   שַׁאֲלוּsha/a/LUaskוְיִנָּתֵןve/yin/NA/tenand it will be givenלָכֶםla/KHEMto youדִּרְשׁוּdir/SHUseekוְתִמְצָאוּve/tim/tsa/Uand you will findדִּפְקוּdif/KUknockוְיִפָּתַחve/yip/PA/tachand it will be openedלָכֶם׃la/KHEMto you

   Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

8. 8

   כִּיkiforכׇּל־הַשֹּׁאֵלkol-hash/sho/ELeveryone who asksיְקַבֵּלye/kab/BELreceivesוְהַדֹּרֵשׁve/had/do/RESHand he who seeksיִמְצָאyim/TSAfindsוְהַדֹּפֵקve/had/do/FEKand he who knocksיִפָּתַחyip/PA/tachit will be openedלוֹ׃loto him

   For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

   הֲיֵשׁha/YESHis thereבָּכֶםba/KHEMamong youאִישׁisha manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיִשְׁאַלyish/ALasksמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof himבְּנוֹbe/NOhis sonלָחֶםLA/chembreadוְנָתַן־לוֹve/na/TAN-loand he gives himאָבֶן׃A/vena stone

   Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

10. 10

    וְכִיve/KHIor ifיִשְׁאַלyish/ALhe asksמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof himדָּגdaga fishהֲיִתֶּן־לוֹha/yit/TEN-lowill he give himנָחָשׁ׃na/CHASHa serpent

    Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11. 11

    הֵןhenbeholdאַתֶּםat/TEMyouהָרָעִיםha/ra/IMwho are evilיֹדְעִיםyod/IMknowלָתֵתla/TETto giveמַתָּנוֹתmat/ta/NOTgiftsטֹבוֹתto/VOTgoodלִבְנֵיכֶםliv/ne/KHEMto your sonsאַףafhow much moreכִּי־אֲבִיכֶםki-A/vi/KHEMyour Fatherשֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִםsheb/bash/sha/MA/yimwho is in heavenיִתֵּןyit/TENwill giveאַךְ־טוֹבakh-tovonly goodלַשֹּׁאֲלִיםlash/sho/a/LIMto those who askמֵאִתּוֹ׃me/it/TOHim

    If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

12. 12

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּלkolallאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתִּרְצוּtir/TSUyou wantשֶׁיַּעֲשׂוּshey/ya/a/SUthat should doלָכֶםla/KHEMto youבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofהָאָדָםha/a/DAMmenעֲשׂוּa/SUdoלָהֶםla/HEMto themגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMyou alsoכִּי־זֹאתki-zotfor this isהַתּוֹרָהhat/to/RAthe lawוְהַנְּבִיאִים׃ve/han/ne/vi/IMand the prophets

    Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

    בֹּאוּBO/uenterבַּפֶּתַחbap/PE/tachby the gateהַצָּרhats/TSARnarrowכִּיkiforרָחָבra/CHAVwide isהַפֶּתַחhap/PE/tachthe gateוּמְרֻוַּחַתu/me/ruv/VA/chatand spacious isדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhthe way ofהָאֲבַדּוֹןha/a/vad/DONdestructionוְרַבִּיםve/rab/BIMand many areאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthose whoיָבֹאוּya/VO/uenterבוֹ׃voby it

    Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14. 14

    וְצַרve/TSARand narrow isהַפֶּתַחhap/PE/tachthe gateוּמוּצָקu/mu/TSAKand constricted isדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhthe way ofהַחַיִּיםha/chay/YIMlifeוּמְעַטִּיםu/me/at/TIMand fewהֵםhemareאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthose whoיִמְצְאוּהָ׃yim/tse/u/HAfind it

    Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15. 15

    הִשָּׁמְרוּhish/sha/me/RUbewareלָכֶםla/KHEMfor yourselvesמִנְּבִיאֵיmin/ne/vi/Eof the prophets ofהַשָּׁקֶרhash/SHA/kerfalsehoodהַבָּאִיםhab/ba/IMwho comeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youבִּלְבוּשׁbil/VUSHin the clothing ofכְּבָשִׂיםke/va/SIMsheepוּבְקִרְבָּםu/ve/kir/BAMbut within themזְאֵבִיםze/e/VIMwolvesטֹרְפִיםtor/FIMtearingהֵמָּה׃HEM/mathey are

    Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16. 16

    הַכֵּרhak/KERrecognizeתַּכִּירוּtak/ki/RUyou will recognizeאוֹתָםo/TAMthemבְּפִרְיָםbe/fir/YAMby their fruitsהֲיֵאָסְפוּha/ye/a/se/FUare gatheredעֲנָבִיםa/na/VIMgrapesמִן־הַקֹּצִיםmin-hak/ko/TSIMfrom thornsאוֹoorתְאֵנִיםte/e/NIMfigsמִן־הַבַּרְקָנִים׃min-hab/bar/ka/NIMfrom thistles

    Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17. 17

    כֵּןkeneven soכׇּל־עֵץkol-etsevery treeטוֹבtovgoodעֹשֶׂהo/SEmakesפְּרִיpe/RIfruitטוֹבtovgoodוְהַנִּשְׁחָתve/han/nish/CHATbut the corruptעֹשֶׂהo/SEmakesפְּרִיpe/RIfruitרָע׃raevil

    Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18. 18

    עֵץetsa treeטוֹבtovgoodלֹא־יוּכַלlo-yu/KHALcannotעֲשׂוֹתa/SOTmakeפְּרִיpe/RIfruitרָעraevilוְעֵץve/ETSand a treeנִשְׁחָתnish/CHATcorruptלֹאlonotיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SEcan makeפְּרִיpe/RIfruitטוֹב׃tovgood

    A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19. 19

    וְכׇל־עֵץve/KHOL-etsevery treeאֲשֶׁר־לֹאa/SHER-lothat does notיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SEmakeפְּרִיpe/RIfruitטוֹבtovgoodיִכָּרֵתyik/ka/RETwill be cut downוְיֻשְׁלַךְve/yush/LAKHand thrownבָּאֵשׁ׃ba/ESHinto the fire

    Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20. 20

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeבְּפִרְיָםbe/fir/YAMby their fruitsתַּכִּירוּtak/ki/RUyou will recognizeאוֹתָם׃o/TAMthem

    Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21. 21

    לֹאlonotכׇל־הָאֹמֵרkhol-ha/o/MEReveryone who saysלִיlito meאֲדֹנִיa/do/NImy Lordאֲדֹנִיa/do/NImy Lordיָבוֹאya/VOwill enterבְּמַלְכוּתbe/mal/KHUTinto the kingdom ofהַשָּׁמָיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenכִּיkibutאִםimratherהָעֹשֶׂהha/o/SEhe who doesרְצוֹןre/TSONthe will ofאָבִיA/VImy Fatherשֶׁבַּשָּׁמָיִם׃sheb/bash/sha/MA/yimwho is in heaven

    Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22. 22

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatיֹאמְרוּyo/me/RUwill sayרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyאֵלַיe/LAYto meאֲדֹנִיa/do/NImy Lordאֲדֹנִיa/do/NImy Lordהֲלֹאha/LOhave we notבְשִׁמְךָve/shim/KHAin your nameנִבֵּאנוּnib/be/NUwe prophesiedוּבְשִׁמְךָu/ve/shim/KHAand in your nameגֵּרַשְׁנוּge/rash/NUwe cast outשֵׁדִיםshe/DIMdemonsוּבְשִׁמְךָu/ve/shim/KHAand in your nameעָשִׂינוּa/SI/nuwe didנִפְלָאוֹתnif/la/OTwondersרַבּוֹת׃rab/BOTmany

    Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23. 23

    אָזazthenאֶעֱנֶה־בָּםe/e/NE-bamI will answer themלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingמֵעוֹלָםme/o/LAMeverלֹאlonotיָדַעְתִּיya/DA/tidid I knowאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouסוּרוּSU/rudepartמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/nifrom meפֹּעֲלֵיPO/a/leworkers ofאָוֶן׃A/veniniquity

    And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24. 24

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכׇּל־הַשֹּׁמֵעַkol-hash/sho/ME/aeveryone who hearsאֶת־דְבָרַיet-de/va/RAYmy wordsאֵלֶּהEL/letheseוְעָשָׂהve/a/SAand doesאֹתָםo/TAMthemאֲדַמֵּהוּa/dam/me/HUI will liken himלְאִישׁle/ISHto a manחָכָםcha/KHAMwiseאֲשֶׁר־בָּנָהa/SHER-ba/NAwho builtאֶת־בֵּיתוֹet-be/TOhis houseעַל־הַצּוּר׃al-hats/TSURon the rock

    Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25. 25

    וַיֵּרֶדvay/YE/redand came downהַגֶּשֶׁםhag/GE/shemthe rainוַיִּשְׁטְפוּvay/yish/te/FUand overflowedהַנְּחָלִיםhan/ne/cha/LIMthe streamsוַיְנַשְׁבוּvay/nash/VUand blewהָרוּחוֹתha/ru/CHOTthe windsוַיִּגְּעוּvay/yig/ge/Uand struckבַּבַּיִתbab/BA/yitthe houseהַהוּאha/HUthatוְלֹאve/LOand notנָפָלna/FALfellכִּיkiforיֻסַּדyus/SADit was foundedעַל־הַצּוּר׃al-hats/TSURon the rock

    And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26. 26

    וְכׇל־הַשֹּׁמֵעַve/KHOL-hash/sho/ME/aand everyone who hearsאֶת־דְּבָרַיet-de/va/RAYmy wordsאֵלֶּהEL/letheseוְלֹאve/LOand notיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SEdoesאֹתָםo/TAMthemיִדְמֶהyid/MEwill be likeלְאִישׁle/ISHto a manבַּעַרBA/arfoolishאֲשֶׁר־בָּנָהa/SHER-ba/NAwho builtאֶת־בֵּיתוֹet-be/TOhis houseעַל־הַחוֹל׃al-ha/CHOLon the sand

    And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27. 27

    וַיֵּרֶדvay/YE/redand came downהַגֶּשֶׁםhag/GE/shemthe rainוַיִּשְׁטְפוּvay/yish/te/FUand overflowedהַנְּחָלִיםhan/ne/cha/LIMthe streamsוַיְנַשְׁבוּvay/nash/VUand blewהָרוּחוֹתha/ru/CHOTthe windsוַיִּפְגְּעוּvay/yif/ge/Uand struckבַּבַּיִתbab/BA/yitthe houseהַהוּאha/HUthatוַיִּפֹּלvay/yip/POLand it fellוַתְּהִיvat/te/HIand wasמַפַּלְתּוֹmap/pal/TOits fallגְדוֹלָה׃ge/do/LAgreat

    And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכְּכַלּוֹתke/khal/LOTwhen finishedיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusלְדַבֵּרle/dab/BERspeakingאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוַיִּשְׁתּוֹמֵםvay/yish/to/MEMand was astonishedהֲמוֹןha/MONthe crowd ofהָעָםha/AMthe peopleעַל־תּוֹרָתוֹ׃al-to/ra/TOat his teaching

    And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

29. 29

    כִּיkiforהָיָהha/YAhe wasמְלַמֵּדme/lam/MEDteachingאוֹתָםo/TAMthemכְּאִישׁke/ISHas a man ofשִׁלְטוֹןshil/TONauthorityוְלֹאve/LOand notכַּסּוֹפְרִים׃kas/sof/RIMas the scribes

    For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
