1. 1

   אָזazthenתִּדְמֶהtid/MEwill be likeמַלְכוּתmal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenלְעֶשֶׂרle/E/serto tenבְּתוּלוֹתbe/tu/LOTvirginsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלָקְחוּla/ke/CHUtookאֶת־נֵרוֹתֵיהֶןet-ne/ro/te/HENtheir lampsוַתֵּצֶאנָהvat/te/TSE/naand went outלִקְרַאתlik/RATto meetהֶחָתָן׃he/cha/TANthe bridegroom

   Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

   חָמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveמֵהֶןme/HENof themחֲכָמוֹתcha/kha/MOTwere wiseוְחָמֵשׁve/cha/MESHand fiveכְּסִילוֹת׃ke/si/LOTfoolish

   And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

   וַתִּקַּחְנָהvat/tik/kach/NAand tookהַכְּסִילוֹתhak/ke/si/LOTthe foolishאֶת־הַנֵּרוֹתet-han/ne/ROTthe lampsוְלֹא־לָקְחוּve/LO-la/ke/CHUand did not takeעִמָּהֶןim/ma/HENwith themשָׁמֶן׃SHA/menoil

   They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4. 4

   וְהַחֲכָמוֹתve/ha/cha/kha/MOTbut the wiseלָקְחוּla/ke/CHUtookשֶׁמֶןSHE/menoilבִּכְלֵיהֶןbikh/le/HENin their vesselsוְאֵתve/ETand withנֵרוֹתֵיהֶן׃ne/ro/te/HENtheir lamps

   But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

   וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand whenאֵחַרe/CHARdelayedהֶחָתָןhe/cha/TANthe bridegroomלָבוֹאla/VOto comeוַתָּנֹמְנָהvat/ta/nom/NAthey grew drowsyכֻלָּןkhul/LANall of themוַתֵּרָדַמְנָה׃vat/te/ra/dam/NAand fell asleep

   While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

   וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבַּחֲצוֹתba/cha/TSOTat the middle ofהַלַּיְלָהhal/LAY/lathe nightוַיִּשָּׁמַעvay/yish/sha/MAand was heardקוֹלkola sound ofתְּרוּעָהte/ru/Ashoutingהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdהֶחָתָןhe/cha/TANthe bridegroomבָּאbacomesצְאֶינָהtse/E/nago outלִקְרָאתוֹ׃lik/ra/TOto meet him

   And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

   אָזazthenהִתְעוֹרֲרוּhit/o/ra/RUawokeכׇּל־הַבְּתוּלוֹתkol-hab/be/tu/LOTall the virginsהָהֵןha/HENthoseוַתֵּיטַבְנָהvat/te/tav/NAand they trimmedאֶת־נֵרוֹתֵיהֶן׃et-ne/ro/te/HENtheir lamps

   Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

   וַתֹּאמַרְנָהvat/to/MAR/naand saidהַכְּסִילוֹתhak/ke/si/LOTthe foolishאֶל־הַחֲכָמוֹתel-ha/cha/kha/MOTto the wiseתֵּנָּהten/NAgiveלָּנוּLA/nuusמִשַּׁמְנְכֶןmish/sham/ne/KHENof your oilכִּיkiforיִכְבּוּyikh/BUare going outנֵרוֹתֵינוּ׃ne/ro/te/NUour lamps

   And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

   וַתַּעֲנֶינָהvat/ta/a/NE/naand answeredהַחֲכָמוֹתha/cha/kha/MOTthe wiseלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingלֹאlonotכֵןkhensoפֶּן־לֹאpen-lolest notיַסְפִּיקyas/PIKbe enoughלָנוּLA/nufor usוְלָכֶןve/la/KHENand for youכִּיkibutאִםimratherלֵכְנָהLEKH/nagoאֶל־הַמּוֹכְרִיםel-ham/mokh/RIMto the sellersוּקְנֶינָהu/ke/ne/NAand buyלָכֶן׃la/KHENfor yourselves

   But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passהֵנָּהHEN/naas theyהֹלְכוֹתhol/KHOTwere goingלִקְנוֹתlik/NOTto buyוְהֶחָתָןve/he/cha/TANand the bridegroomבָּאbacameוַתָּבֹאנָהvat/ta/VO/naand went inהַנְּכֹנוֹתhan/ne/kho/NOTthose who were readyעִמּוֹim/MOwith himאֶל־הַחֲתֻנָּהel-ha/cha/tun/NAto the weddingוַתִּסָּגֵרvat/tis/sa/GERand was shutהַדָּלֶת׃had/DA/letthe door

    And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11. 11

    וְאַחַרve/a/CHARand afterwardבָּאוּBA/ucameגַּם־יֶתֶרgam-YE/teralso the rest ofהַבְּתוּלוֹתhab/be/tu/LOTvirginsוַתֹּאמַרְנָהvat/to/MAR/naand saidאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour lordאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour lordפְּתַח־לָנוּ׃pe/TACH-LA/nuopen to us

    Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12. 12

    וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand he answeredוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidאָמֵןa/MENamenאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶןla/KHENto youלֹאlonotיָדַעְתִּיya/DA/tiI knowאֶתְכֶן׃et/KHENyou

    But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13. 13

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeשְׁקֹדוּshe/ko/DUkeep watchכִּיkiforאֵינְכֶםe/ne/KHEMyou do notיוֹדְעִיםyod/IMknowאֶת־הַיּוֹםet-hay/YOMthe dayוְאֶת־הַשָּׁעָהve/ET-hash/sha/Aand the hourאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיָבֹאya/VOwill comeבָהּvain itבֶּן־הָאָדָם׃ben-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of man

    Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

14. 14

    כִּיkiforמַלְכוּתmal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenדּוֹמָהdo/MAis likeלְאִישׁle/ISHto a manנֹסֵעַno/SE/ajourneyingלְמֵרָחוֹקle/me/ra/CHOKfar awayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoקָרָאka/RAcalledאֶל־עֲבָדָיוel-a/va/DAYVhis own servantsוַיַּפְקֵדvay/yaf/KEDand entrustedבְּיָדָםbe/ya/DAMinto their handאֶת־רְכוּשׁוֹ׃et-re/khu/SHOhis goods

    For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

15. 15

    וַיִּתֵּןvay/yit/TENand he gaveלָזֶהla/ZEto this oneחָמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveכִּכָּרִיםkik/ka/RIMtalentsוְלָזֶהve/la/ZEand to this oneשְׁתַּיִםSHTA/yimtwoוְלָזֶהve/la/ZEand to this oneאֶחָתe/CHAToneלְכׇל־אִישׁle/KHOL-ishto every manלְפִיle/FIaccording toיְכׇלְתּוֹye/khol/TOhis abilityוַיְמַהֵרvay/ma/HERand quicklyוַיִּסַּעvay/yis/SAjourneyedמִשָּׁם׃mish/SHAMfrom there

    And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

16. 16

    וַיֵּלֶךְvay/YE/lekhand wentהָאִישׁha/ISHthe manהַלֹּקֵחַhal/lo/KE/achwho receivedחָמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveכִּכָּרִיםkik/ka/RIMtalentsוַיִּסְחַרvay/yis/CHARand tradedבָּהֶןba/HENwith themוַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand madeחָמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveכִּכָּרִיםkik/ka/RIMtalentsאֲחֵרוֹת׃a/che/ROTother

    Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

17. 17

    וְכֵןve/KHENand likewiseהַלֹּקֵחַhal/lo/KE/achwho receivedשְׁתַּיִםSHTA/yimtwoגַּם־הוּאgam-huhe alsoהִרְוִיחַhir/VI/achgainedשְׁתַּיִםSHTA/yimtwoאֲחֵרוֹת׃a/che/ROTother

    And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

18. 18

    וְלֹקֵחַve/lo/KE/achand he who receivedהָאַחַתha/a/CHAToneהָלַךְha/LAKHwentוַיַּחְפֹּרvay/yach/PORand dugבָּאֲדָמָהba/a/da/MAin the groundוַיִּטְמֹןvay/yit/MONand hidאֶת־כֶּסֶףet-KE/sefthe silver ofאֲדֹנָיו׃a/do/NAYVhis lord

    But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

19. 19

    וְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterיָמִיםya/MIMdaysרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyבָּאbacomesאֲדוֹנֵיa/do/NEthe lord ofהָעֲבָדִיםha/a/va/DIMthe servantsהָהֵםha/HEMthoseוַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand madeחֶשְׁבּוֹןchesh/BONa reckoningעִמָּהֶם׃im/ma/HEMwith them

    After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

20. 20

    וַיִּגַּשׁvay/yig/GASHand came nearהַלֹּקֵחַhal/lo/KE/achhe who receivedחֲמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveהַכִּכָּרִיםhak/kik/ka/RIMtalentsוַיָּבֵאvay/ya/VEand broughtחָמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveכִּכָּרִיםkik/ka/RIMtalentsאֲחֵרוֹתa/che/ROTotherוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidאֲדֹנִיa/do/NImy lordחָמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveכִּכָּרִיםkik/ka/RIMtalentsהִפְקַדְתָּhif/kad/TAyou entrustedבְּיָדִיbe/ya/DIinto my handהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdחָמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveכִּכָּרִיםkik/ka/RIMtalentsאֲחֵרוֹתa/che/ROTotherהִרְוַחְתִּיhir/vach/TII have gainedבָהֵן׃va/HENwith them

    And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

21. 21

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himאֲדֹנָיוa/do/NAYVhis lordהֱטִיבֹתָhe/ti/VO/tayou have done wellלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doעֶבֶדE/vedservantטוֹבtovgoodוְנֶאֱמָןve/ne/e/MANand faithfulכִּיkiforבִמְעַטvim/ATover a littleנֶאֱמָןne/e/MANfaithfulהָיִיתָha/YI/tayou have beenוְעַל־הַרְבֵּהve/AL-har/BEand over muchאַפְקִידֶךָaf/ki/de/KHAI will appoint youבּוֹאboenterלְשִׂמְחַתle/sim/CHATinto the joy ofאֲדֹנֶיךָ׃a/do/NE/khayour lord

    His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

22. 22

    וַיִּגַּשׁvay/yig/GASHand came nearגַּם־לֹקֵחַgam-lo/KE/achalso he who receivedהַכִּכָּרַיִםhak/kik/ka/RA/yimtwo talentsוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidאֲדֹנִיa/do/NImy lordכִּכָּרַיִםkik/ka/RA/yimtwo talentsהִפְקַדְתָּhif/kad/TAyou entrustedבְיָדִיve/ya/DIinto my handהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdכִּכָּרַיִםkik/ka/RA/yimtwo talentsאֲחֵרוֹתa/che/ROTotherהִרְוַחְתִּיhir/vach/TII have gainedבָהֵן׃va/HENwith them

    He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

23. 23

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himאֲדֹנָיוa/do/NAYVhis lordהֱטִיבֹתָhe/ti/VO/tayou have done wellלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doעֶבֶדE/vedservantטוֹבtovgoodוְנֶאֱמָןve/ne/e/MANand faithfulבַּמִּזְעָרbam/miz/ARover a littleנֶאֱמָןne/e/MANfaithfulהָיִיתָha/YI/tayou have beenוְעַל־הַרְבֵּהve/AL-har/BEand over muchאַפְקִידֶךָaf/ki/de/KHAI will appoint youבּוֹאboenterלְשִׂמְחַתle/sim/CHATinto the joy ofאֲדֹנֶיךָ׃a/do/NE/khayour lord

    His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

24. 24

    וַיִּגַּשׁvay/yig/GASHand came nearגַּם־הַלֹּקֵחַgam-hal/lo/KE/achalso he who receivedאֶת־הַכִּכָּרet-hak/kik/KARthe talentהָאַחַתha/a/CHATthe oneוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidאֲדֹנִיa/do/NImy lordיְדַעְתִּיךָye/da/TI/khaI knew youכִּי־אִישׁki-ishthat a manקָשֶׁהka/SHEhardאַתָּהat/TAyou areקֹצֵרko/TSERreapingבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERwhereלֹאlonotזָרַעְתָּza/ra/TAyou have sownוְכֹנֵסve/kho/NESand gatheringמֵאֲשֶׁרme/a/SHERwhereלֹאlonotפִזָּרְתָּ׃fiz/zar/TAyou scattered

    Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

25. 25

    וָאִירָאva/i/RAand I was afraidוָאֵלֵךְva/e/LEKHand I wentוָאֶטְמֹןva/et/MONand I hidאֶת־כִּכָּרְךָet-kik/ka/re/KHAyour talentבָּאֲדָמָהba/a/da/MAin the groundוְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהֵא־לְךָhe-le/KHAhere is to youאֲשֶׁר־לָךְ׃a/SHER-lakhwhat is yours

    And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

26. 26

    וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredאֲדֹנָיוa/do/NAYVhis lordוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himהָעֶבֶדha/E/vedservantהָרַעha/RAevilוְהֶעָצֵלve/he/a/TSELand lazyאַתָּהat/TAare youיָדַעְתָּya/DA/tayou knewכִּי־קֹצֵרki-ko/TSERthat reapingאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIam Iבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERwhereלֹאlonotזָרַעְתִּיza/ra/TII sowedוְכֹנֵסve/kho/NESand gatherמֵאֲשֶׁרme/a/SHERwhereלֹאlonotפִזָּרְתִּי׃fiz/zar/TII scattered

    His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

27. 27

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהָיָהha/YAit wasעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaon youלָתֵתla/TETto giveאֶת־כַּסְפִּיet-kas/PImy moneyלַשֻּׁלְחָנִיםlash/shul/cha/NIMto the money changersוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iבְּבוֹאִיbe/vo/Iat my comingהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiwould haveלֹקֵחַlo/KE/achreceivedאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־לִיet-a/SHER-liwhat is mineוְתַרְבִּיתוֹ׃ve/tar/bi/TOand its interest

    Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

28. 28

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeשְׂאוּse/Utakeמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nufrom himאֵת־הַכִּכָּרet-hak/kik/KARthe talentוּתְנוּu/te/NUand giveאֶל־הָאִישׁel-ha/ISHto the manאֲשֶׁר־לוֹa/SHER-lowho hasעֶשֶׂרE/sertenהַכִּכָּרִים׃hak/kik/ka/RIMtalents

    Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

29. 29

    כִּיkiforמִיmiwhoeverאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיֶשׁ־לוֹyesh-lohasיִנָּתֶןyin/NA/tenshall be givenלוֹloto himוְיַעְדִּיףve/ya/DIFand he will have moreוּמִיu/MIand whoeverאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאֵין־לוֹen-lohas notיֻקַּחyuk/KACHwill be takenמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nufrom himגַּםgamevenאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ׃et-a/SHER-lowhat he has

    For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

30. 30

    וְאֶת־עֶבֶדve/ET-E/vedand the servant ofהַבְּלִיַּעַלhab/be/liy/YA/alworthlessnessהַשְׁלִיכוּhash/LI/khuthrowאֶל־הַחֹשֶׁךְel-ha/CHO/shekhinto the darknessהַחִיצוֹןha/chi/TSONouterשָׁםshamthereתִּהְיֶהtih/YEwill beהַיְלָלָהhay/la/LAthe wailingוַחֲרֹקva/cha/ROKand the gnashing ofהַשִּׁנָּיִם׃hash/shin/NA/yimthe teeth

    And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

31. 31

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it will beכִּיkiwhenיָבוֹאya/VOcomesבֶּן־הָאָדָםben-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of manבִּכְבוֹדוֹbikh/vo/DOin his gloryוְכׇל־הַמַּלְאָכִיםve/KHOL-ham/mal/a/KHIMand all the angelsהַקְּדֹשִׁיםhak/ke/do/SHIMholyעִמּוֹim/MOwith himוְיָשַׁבve/ya/SHAVand he will sitעַל־כִּסֵּאal-kis/SEon the throne ofכְבוֹדוֹ׃khe/vo/DOhis glory

    When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32. 32

    וְנֶאֶסְפוּve/ne/es/FUand will be gatheredלְפָנָיוle/fa/NAYVbefore himכׇּל־הַגּוֹיִםkol-hag/go/YIMall the nationsוְהִפְרִידve/hif/RIDand he will separateבֵּינֵיהֶםbe/ne/HEMbetween themכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיַפְרִידyaf/RIDseparatesהָרֹעֶהha/ro/Ethe shepherdבֵּיןbenbetweenהַכְּבָשִׂיםhak/ke/va/SIMthe sheepוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenהָעַתּוּדִים׃ha/at/tu/DIMthe goats

    And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33. 33

    וְהִצִּיבve/hits/TSIVand he will setאֶת־הַכְּבָשִׂיםet-hak/ke/va/SIMthe sheepלִימִינוֹli/mi/NOat his right handוְאֵתve/ETandהָעַתּוּדִיםha/at/tu/DIMthe goatsלִשְׂמֹאלוֹ׃lis/mo/LOat his left

    And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34. 34

    אָזazthenיֹאמַרyo/MARwill sayהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingאֶל־הַנִּצָּבִיםel-han/nits/tsa/VIMto those standingלִימִינוֹli/mi/NOat his right handבֹּאוּBO/ucomeבְּרוּכֵיbe/ru/KHEblessed ofאָבִיA/VImy Fatherוּרְשׁוּu/re/SHUinheritאֶת־הַמַּלְכוּתet-ham/mal/KHUTthe kingdomהַמּוּכָנָהham/mu/kha/NApreparedלָכֶםla/KHEMfor youלְמִן־הִוָּסֵדle/MIN-hiv/va/SEDfrom the founding ofהָעוֹלָם׃ha/o/LAMthe world

    Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35. 35

    כִּיkiforרָעֵבra/EVhungryהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiI wasוַתַּאֲכִילֻנִיvat/ta/a/khi/lu/NIand you fed meצָמֵאtsa/MEthirstyהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiI wasוַתַּשְׁקוּנִיvat/tash/ku/NIand you gave me drinkאֹרֵחַo/RE/acha travelerהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiI wasוַתַּאַסְפוּנִי׃vat/ta/as/fu/NIand you took me in

    For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36. 36

    עָרוֹםa/ROMnakedוַתְּכַסּוּנִיvat/te/khas/su/NIand you clothed meחוֹלֶהcho/LEsickוַתְּבַקְּרוּנִיvat/te/vak/ke/ru/NIand you visited meבַּמִּשְׁמָרbam/mish/MARin custodyהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiI wasוַתָּבֹאוּvat/ta/VO/uand you cameאֵלָי׃e/LAYto me

    Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37. 37

    וְעָנוּve/a/NUand will answerהַצַּדִּיקִיםhats/tsad/di/KIMthe righteousוְאָמְרוּve/a/me/RUand sayאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour Lordמָתַיma/TAYwhenרְאִינוּךָre/i/nu/KHAdid we see youרָעֵבra/EVhungryוַנְּכַלְכְּלֶךָvan/ne/khal/ke/le/KHAand feed youאוֹoorצָמֵאtsa/MEthirstyוַנַּשְׁקֶהvan/nash/KEand give drinkאוֹתְךָ׃ot/KHAyou

    Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

    וּמָתַיu/ma/TAYand whenרְאִינוּךָre/i/nu/KHAdid we see youאֹרֵחַo/RE/acha travelerוַנַּאַסְפֶךָvan/na/as/fe/KHAand take you inאוֹoorעָרֹםa/ROMnakedוַנְּכַסֶּךָּ׃van/ne/khas/sek/KAand clothe you

    When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39. 39

    וּמָתַיu/ma/TAYand whenרְאִינוּךָre/i/nu/KHAdid we see youחוֹלֶהcho/LEsickאוֹoorבַּמִּשְׁמָרbam/mish/MARin custodyוַנָּבֹאvan/na/VOand comeאֵלֶיךָ׃e/LE/khato you

    Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40. 40

    וְהַמֶּלֶךְve/ham/ME/lekhand the kingיַעֲנֶהya/a/NEwill answerוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand sayאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themאָמֵןa/MENamenאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youמַה־שֶׁעֲשִׂיתֶםma-she/a/si/TEMwhat you didלְאֶחָדle/e/CHADto oneמֵאַחַיme/a/CHAYof my brothersהַצְּעִירִיםhats/tse/i/RIMthe leastהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלִיlito meעֲשִׂיתֶם׃a/si/TEMyou did

    And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41. 41

    וְאָזve/AZthenיֹאמַרyo/MARhe will sayגַּםgamalsoאֶל־הַנִּצָּבִיםel-han/nits/tsa/VIMto those standingלִשְׂמֹאלוֹlis/mo/LOat his leftלְכוּle/KHUgoמֵעָלַיme/a/LAYfrom meאֲרוּרִיםa/ru/RIMcursed onesאֶל־אֵשׁel-eshinto the fire ofעוֹלָםo/LAMeternityהַמּוּכָנָהham/mu/kha/NApreparedלַשָּׂטָןlas/Sa/TANfor Satanוּלְמַלְאָכָיו׃u/le/mal/a/KHAYVand his angels

    Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42. 42

    כִּיkiforרָעֵבra/EVhungryהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiI wasוְלֹאve/LOand notהֶאֱכַלְתֶּםhe/e/khal/TEMyou fedאוֹתִיo/TImeצָמֵאtsa/MEthirstyהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiI wasוְלֹאve/LOand notהִשְׁקִיתֶםhish/ki/TEMyou gave drinkאוֹתִי׃o/TIme

    For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43. 43

    אֹרֵחַo/RE/acha travelerהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiI wasוְלֹאve/LOand notאֲסַפְתֶּםa/saf/TEMyou took inאוֹתִיo/TImeעָרוֹםa/ROMnakedוְלֹאve/LOand notכִסִּיתֶםkhis/si/TEMyou clothedאוֹתִיo/TImeחוֹלֶהcho/LEsickוּבַמִּשְׁמָרu/vam/mish/MARand in custodyוְלֹאve/LOand notבִקַּרְתֶּםvik/kar/TEMyou visitedאוֹתִי׃o/TIme

    I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44. 44

    וְעָנוּve/a/NUand will answerגַם־הֵםgam-hemthey alsoוְאָמְרוּve/a/me/RUand sayאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour Lordמָתַיma/TAYwhenרְאִינוּךָre/i/nu/KHAdid we see youרָעֵבra/EVhungryאוֹoorצָמֵאtsa/MEthirstyאוֹoorאֹרֵחַo/RE/acha travelerאוֹoorעָרוֹםa/ROMnakedאוֹoorחוֹלֶהcho/LEsickאוֹoorבַמִּשְׁמָרvam/mish/MARin custodyוְלֹאve/LOand notשֵׁרַתְנוּךָ׃she/rat/nu/KHAserve you

    Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45. 45

    אָזazthenיַעֲנֶהya/a/NEhe will answerאֹתָםo/TAMthemלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאָמֵןa/MENamenאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youמַה־שֶׁלֹּאma-shel/LOwhat notעֲשִׂיתֶםa/si/TEMyou didלְאֶחָדle/e/CHADto oneמִן־הַצְּעִירִיםmin-hats/tse/i/RIMof the least ofהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseגַּם־לִיgam-lialso to meלֹאlonotעֲשִׂיתֶם׃a/si/TEMyou did

    Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46. 46

    וְהָלְכוּve/ha/le/KHUand will goאֵלֶּהEL/letheseלְעֹנֶשׁle/O/neshto the punishment ofעוֹלָםo/LAMeternityוְהַצַּדִּיקִיםve/hats/tsad/di/KIMand the righteousלְחַיֵּיle/chay/YEto the life ofעוֹלָם׃o/LAMeternity

    And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
