1. 1

   וַיֵּצֵא־יֵשׁוּעַvay/Ye/TSE-ye/SHU/aand Jesus went outמִן־הַמִּקְדָּשׁmin-ham/mik/DASHfrom the templeלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto goלְדַרְכּוֹle/dar/KOon his wayוַיִּגְּשׁוּvay/yig/ge/SHUand came nearתַּלְמִידָיוtal/mi/DAYVhis disciplesלְהַרְאוֹתוֹle/har/o/TOto show himאֶת־בִּנְיְנֵיet-bin/ye/NEthe buildings ofהַמִּקְדָּשׁ׃ham/mik/DASHthe temple

   And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

   And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

   וַיֵּשֵׁבvay/ye/SHEVand he satעַל־הַרal-harupon the mount ofהַזֵּיתִיםHaz/ze/TIMOlivesוַיִּגְּשׁוּvay/yig/ge/SHUcame nearאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himהַתַּלְמִידִיםhat/tal/mi/DIMthe disciplesלְבַדָּםle/vad/DAMaloneוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidאֱמׇר־נָאe/MOR-nasay nowלָנוּLA/nuusמָתַיma/TAYwhenתִּהְיֶהtih/YEwill beזֹאתzotthisוּמָהu/MAand whatאוֹתotthe sign ofבּוֹאֲךָbo/a/KHAyour comingוְאוֹתve/OTand the sign ofקֵץketsthe end ofהָעוֹלָם׃ha/o/LAMthe world

   And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

   וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidלָהֶםla/HEMto themרְאוּre/Useeפֶּן־יַתְעֶהpen-yat/Elest lead astrayאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouאִישׁ׃isha man

   And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

   כִּיkiforרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyיָבֹאוּya/VO/uwill comeבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאֲנִיa/NIIהוּאhuam heהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahוְהִתְעוּve/hit/Uand will lead astrayרַבִּים׃rab/BIMmany

   For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6. 6

   וְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youעֲתִידִיםa/ti/DIMare aboutלִשְׁמֹעַlish/MO/ato hearמִלְחָמוֹתmil/cha/MOTwarsוּשְׁמֻעוֹתu/she/mu/OTand reports ofמִלְחָמָהmil/cha/MAwarרְאוּre/Useeפֶּן־תִּבָּהֵלוּpen-tib/ba/he/LUlest you be alarmedכִּי־הָיוֹki-ha/YOfor beתִהְיֶהtih/YEit will beכׇּל־זֹאתkol-zotall these thingsאַךְakhbutעֲדֶןa/DENstillאֵיןennotהַקֵּץ׃hak/KETSthe end

   And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7. 7

   כִּיkiforיָקוּםya/KUMwill riseגּוֹיgoynationעַל־גּוֹיal-goyagainst nationוּמַמְלָכָהu/mam/la/KHAand kingdomעַל־מַמְלָכָהal-mam/la/KHAagainst kingdomוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand there will beרָעָבra/AVfamineוְדֶבֶרve/DE/verand pestilenceוָרַעַשׁva/RA/ashand earthquakeהֵנָּהHEN/nahereוָהֵנָּה׃va/HEN/naand there

   For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8. 8

   וְכׇל־אֵלֶּהve/KHOL-EL/leand all theseרַקrakonlyרֵאשִׁיתre/SHITthe beginning ofהַחֲבָלִים׃ha/cha/va/LIMsorrows

   All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9. 9

   אָזazthenיַסְגִּירוּyas/GI/ruthey will hand overאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouלַצָּרָהlats/tsa/RAto distressוְהֵמִיתוּve/he/MI/tuand they will killאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוִהְיִיתֶםvih/yi/TEMand you will beשְׂנוּאִיםse/nu/IMhatedלְכׇל־הַגּוֹיִםle/KHOL-hag/go/YIMby all the nationsלְמַעַןle/MA/anfor the sake ofשְׁמִי׃she/MImy name

   Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10. 10

    וְאָזve/AZand thenיִכָּשְׁלוּyik/ka/she/LUwill stumbleרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyוּמָסְרוּu/ma/se/RUand will deliverאִישׁisha manאֶת־רֵעֵהוּet-re/E/huhis neighborוְשָׂנְאוּve/sa/ne/Uand will hateאִישׁisha manאֶת־אָחִיו׃et-a/CHIVhis brother

    And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11. 11

    וּנְבִיאֵיu/ne/vi/Eand prophets ofשֶׁקֶרSHE/kerfalsehoodרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyיָקוּמוּya/KU/muwill riseוְהִתְעוּve/hit/Uand will lead astrayרַבִּים׃rab/BIMmany

    And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12. 12

    וּמִפְּנֵיu/mip/pe/NEand becauseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִרְבֶּהyir/BEwill increaseהַפֶּשַׁעhap/PE/shatransgressionתָּפוּגta/FUGwill grow coldאַהֲבַתa/ha/VATthe love ofהָרַבִּים׃ha/rab/BIMthe many

    And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13. 13

    וְהַמַּחֲזִיקve/ham/ma/cha/ZIKbut he who enduresעַד־הַקֵּץad-hak/KETSto the endהוּאhuheיִוָּשֵׁעַ׃yiv/va/SHE/awill be saved

    But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14. 14

    וְתִקָּרֵאve/tik/ka/REand will be proclaimedבְּשׂוֹרַתbe/so/RATthe gospel ofהַמַּלְכוּתham/mal/KHUTthe kingdomהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisבְּכׇל־הָאָרֶץbe/KHOL-ha/A/retsin all the earthלְעֵדוּתle/e/DUTfor a witnessלְכׇל־הַגּוֹיִםle/KHOL-hag/go/YIMto all nationsוְאַחַרve/a/CHARand afterwardיָבוֹאya/VOwill comeהַקֵּץ׃hak/KETSthe end

    And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15. 15

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenתִּרְאוּtir/Uyou seeאֶת־שִׁקּוּץet-shik/KUTSthe abomination ofמְשֹׁמֵםme/sho/MEMdesolationאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאָמַרa/MARspoken ofדָּנִיֵּאלDa/niy/YELDanielהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetעוֹמֵדo/MEDstandingבְּמָקוֹםbe/ma/KOMin a placeקָדוֹשׁka/DOSHholyהַקֹּרֵאhak/ko/REthe readerיָבִין׃ya/VINlet him understand

    When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16. 16

    אָזazthenנוֹסnosfleeיָנוּסוּya/NU/sulet fleeאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEthe men ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudaeaאֶל־הֶהָרִים׃el-he/ha/RIMinto the mountains

    Then let them which be in Judæa flee into the mountains:

17. 17

    וַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand he who isעַל־הַגָּגal-hag/GAGon the housetopאַל־יֵרֵדal-ye/REDlet him not go downלָשֵׂאתla/SETto takeדָּבָרda/VARanythingמִבֵּיתוֹ׃mib/be/TOout of his house

    Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18. 18

    וַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand he who isבַּשָּׂדֶהbas/sa/DEin the fieldאַל־יָשֹׁבal-ya/SHOVlet him not returnאָחוֹרa/CHORbackלָשֵׂאתla/SETto takeאֶת־מַלְבּוּשׁוֹ׃et-mal/bu/SHOhis garment

    Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19. 19

    וְאוֹיve/OYand woeלֶהָרוֹתle/ha/ROTto the pregnantוְלַמֵּינִיקוֹתve/lam/me/ni/KOTand to those nursingבַּיָּמִיםbay/ya/MIMin the daysהָהֵם׃ha/HEMthose

    And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20. 20

    אַךְakhbutהִתְפַּלֲלוּhit/pa/la/LUprayשֶׁלֹּאshel/LOthat notתִּהְיֶהtih/YEwill beמְנוּסַתְכֶםme/nu/sat/KHEMyour flightבַּחֹרֶףba/CHO/refin the winterוְלֹאve/LOand notבַּשַּׁבָּת׃bash/shab/BATon the sabbath

    But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21. 21

    כִּיkiforאָזazthenתִּהְיֶהtih/YEthere will beצָרָהtsa/RAdistressגְדוֹלָהge/do/LAgreatאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatכָּמוֹהָka/MO/halike itלֹא־נִהְיְתָהlo-nih/ye/TAhas not beenמֵרֵאשִׁיתme/re/SHITsince the beginning ofהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldוְעַד־עַתָּהve/AD-AT/taand until nowוְכָמוֹהָve/kha/MO/haand like itלֹאlonotתוֹסִף׃to/SIFwill again be

    For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22. 22

    וְלוּלֵאve/lu/LEand unlessנִקְצְרוּnik/tse/RUwere shortenedהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMthe daysהָהֵםha/HEMthoseלֹאlonotיִנָּצֵלyin/na/TSELwould be deliveredכׇּל־בָּשָׂרkol-ba/SARany fleshאַךְakhbutלְמַעַןle/MA/anfor the sake ofהַבְּחִירִיםhab/be/chi/RIMthe electיִקָּצְרוּyik/ka/tse/RUwill be shortenedהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMthe daysהָהֵם׃ha/HEMthose

    And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

23. 23

    וְכִי־יֹאמַרve/KHI-yo/MARand if saysאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youאִישׁisha manבָּעֵתba/ETat the timeהַהִיאha/HIthatהִנֵּה־פֹהhin/NE-fobehold here isהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאוֹoorהִנּוֹ־שָׁםhin/NO-shambehold he is thereאַל־תַּאֲמִינוּ׃al-ta/a/MI/nudo not believe

    Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24. 24

    כִּיkiforיָקוּמוּya/KU/muwill riseמְשִׁיחֵיme/shi/CHEmessiahs ofשֶׁקֶרSHE/kerfalsehoodוּנְבִיאֵיu/ne/vi/Eand prophets ofשֶׁקֶרSHE/kerfalsehoodוְיִתְּנוּve/yit/te/NUand will giveאֹתוֹתo/TOTsignsגְּדֹלוֹתge/do/LOTgreatוּמוֹפְתִיםu/mof/TIMand wondersלְמַעַןle/MA/anso asהַתְעוֹתhat/OTto lead astrayאַףafevenאֶת־הַבְּחִירִיםet-hab/be/chi/RIMthe electאִם־יוּכָלוּ׃im-yu/KHA/luif they can

    For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25. 25

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdמֵרֹאשׁme/ROSHbeforehandהִגַּדְתִּיhig/GAD/tiI have toldלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

    Behold, I have told you before.

26. 26

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכִּי־יֹאמְרוּki-yo/me/RUif they sayאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youהִנּוֹhin/NObehold he isבַמִּדְבָּרvam/mid/BARin the wildernessאַל־תֵּצֵאוּal-te/TSE/udo not go outהִנּוֹhin/NObehold he isבַחֲדָרִיםva/cha/da/RIMin the inner roomsאַל־תַּאֲמִינוּ׃al-ta/a/MI/nudo not believe

    Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27. 27

    כִּיkiforכַבָּרָקkhab/ba/RAKas the lightningהַיּוֹצֵאhay/yo/TSEthat goes outמִמִּזְרָחmim/miz/RACHout of the eastוּמֵאִירu/ME/irand shinesעַד־הַמַּעֲרָבad-ham/ma/a/RAVto the westכֵּןkensoיִהְיֶהyih/YEwill beגַּם־בּוֹאוֹgam-bo/Oalso the comingשֶׁל־בֶּן־הָאָדָם׃sheL-ben-ha/a/DAMof the Son of man

    For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28. 28

    כִּיkiforבַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERwhereהֶחָלָלhe/cha/LALthe slainשָׁםshamthereיִקָּבְצוּyik/KAV/tsuwill gatherהַנְּשָׁרִים׃han/ne/sha/RIMthe eagles

    For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29. 29

    וּמִיָּדu/miy/YADand immediatelyאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterצָרַתtsa/RATthe tribulation ofהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMthe daysהָהֵםha/HEMthoseתֶּחְשַׁךְtech/SHAKHwill be darkenedהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunוְהַיָּרֵחַve/hay/ya/RE/achand the moonלֹאlonotיַגִּיהַּyag/GI/ahwill shineאוֹרוֹo/ROits lightוְהַכּוֹכָבִיםve/hak/ko/kha/VIMand the starsיִפְּלוּyip/pe/LUwill fallמִן־הַשָּׁמָיִםmin-hash/sha/MA/yimfrom heavenוַחֲיָלֵיva/cha/ya/LEand the hosts ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensיִתְמוֹטָטוּ׃yit/mo/ta/TUwill be shaken

    Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30. 30

    אָזazthenיֵרָאֶהye/ra/Ewill appearאוֹתotthe sign ofבֶּן־הָאָדָםben-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of manבַּשָּׁמָיִםbash/sha/MA/yimin heavenוְסָפְדוּve/sa/fe/DUand will mournכׇּל־מִשְׁפְּחוֹתkol-mish/pe/CHOTall the families ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְרָאוּve/ra/Uand they will seeאֶת־בֶּן־הָאָדָםet-Ben-ha/a/DAMthe Son of manבָּאbacomingעִם־עַנֲנֵיim-a/na/NEwith the clouds ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenבִּגְבוּרָהbig/vu/RAwith powerוְכָבוֹדve/kha/VODand gloryרָב׃ravgreat

    And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31. 31

    וְשָׁלַחve/sha/LACHand he will sendאֶת־מַלְאָכָיוet-mal/a/KHAYVhis angelsבְּקוֹלbe/KOLwith the sound ofשׁוֹפָרsho/FARa trumpetגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatוְקִבְּצוּve/kib/be/TSUand they will gatherאֶת־בְּחִירָיוet-be/chi/RAYVhis electמֵאַרְבַּעme/ar/BAfrom the fourהָרוּחוֹתha/ru/CHOTwindsלְמִקְצֵהle/mik/TSEfrom the end ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenוְעַדve/ADand toקְצֵהke/TSEthe end ofהַשָּׁמָיִם׃hash/sha/MA/yimheaven

    And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32. 32

    וּמִן־הַתְּאֵנָהu/MIN-hat/te/e/NAand from the fig treeלִמְדוּlim/DUlearnאֶת־הַמָּשָׁלet-ham/ma/SHALthe parableהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenיִרְטַבyir/TAVbecomes tenderעֲנָפָהּa/na/FAits branchוּפָרְחוּu/fa/re/CHUand sproutעָלֶיהָa/LE/haits leavesיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowכִּיkithatקָרוֹבka/ROVis nearהַקָּיִץ׃hak/KA/yitssummer

    Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33. 33

    כֵּןkensoגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMyou alsoבִּרְאוֹתְכֶםbir/ot/KHEMwhen you shall seeאֶת־כׇּל־אֵלֶּהet-kol-EL/leall these thingsדְּעוּde/Uknowכִּי־קָרוֹבki-ka/ROVthat nearהוּאhuit isבַּפָּתַח׃bap/PA/tachat the door

    So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34. 34

    אָמֵןa/MENamenאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכִּיkithatלֹאlonotיַעֲבֹרya/a/VORwill passהַדּוֹרhad/DORgenerationהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁר־יִהְיוּa/SHER-yih/YUareכׇל־אֵלֶּה׃khol-EL/leall these things

    Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

35. 35

    הַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenוְהָאָרֶץve/ha/A/retsand earthיַעֲבֹרוּya/a/VO/ruwill pass awayוּדְבָרַיu/de/va/RAYbut my wordsלֹאlonotיַעֲבֹרוּן׃ya/a/vo/RUNwill pass away

    Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36. 36

    וְהַיּוֹםve/hay/YOMand the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatוְהַשָּׁעָהve/hash/sha/Aand the hourהַהִיאha/HIthatאֵיןennotאִישׁisha manיוֹדֵעַyo/DE/aknowsגַּם־לֹאgam-lonot evenמַלְאֲכֵיmal/a/KHEthe angels ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenבִּלְתִּיbil/TIexceptאָבִיA/VImy Fatherלְבַדּוֹ׃le/vad/DOalone

    But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37. 37

    וְכִימֵיve/khi/MEand as the days ofנֹחַNO/achNoeכֵּןkensoיִהְיֶהyih/YEwill beגַּם־בּוֹאוֹgam-bo/Oalso the comingשֶׁל־בֶּן־הָאָדָם׃sheL-ben-ha/a/DAMof the Son of man

    But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38. 38

    כִּיkiforכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְמֵיye/MEthe days ofהַמַּבּוּלham/mab/BULthe floodהָיוּha/YUthey wereאֹכְלִיםokh/LIMeatingוְשֹׁתִיםve/sho/TIMand drinkingנֹשְׂאִיםnos/IMmarryingנָשִׁיםna/SHIMwivesוְנֹתְנִיםve/not/NIMand givingנָשִׁיםna/SHIMwivesלַאֲנָשִׁיםla/a/na/SHIMto husbandsעַד־הַיּוֹםad-hay/YOMuntil the dayאֲשֶׁר־בָּאa/SHER-bathat enteredנֹחַNO/achNoeאֶל־הַתֵּבָה׃el-hat/te/VAinto the ark

    For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39. 39

    וְלֹאve/LOand notיָדְעוּya/de/Uthey knewעַד־בּוֹאad-bountil cameהַמַּבּוּלham/mab/BULthe floodוַיִּמַחvay/YI/machand wiped outאֶת־כֻּלָּםet-kul/LAMthem allכֵּןkensoיִהְיֶהyih/YEwill beגַּם־בּוֹאוֹgam-bo/Oalso the comingשֶׁל־בֶּן־הָאָדָם׃sheL-ben-ha/a/DAMof the Son of man

    And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40. 40

    אָזazthenיִהְיוּyih/YUwill beשְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimtwoבַּשָּׂדֶהbas/sa/DEin the fieldוְיֵאָסֵףve/ye/a/SEFand will be takenאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְהָאֶחָדve/ha/e/CHADand the oneיֵעָזֵב׃ye/a/ZEVwill be left

    Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41. 41

    שְׁתַּיִםSHTA/yimtwo womenבָּרֵחָיִםba/re/CHA/yimat the millstonesוְתֵאָסֵףve/te/a/SEFand will be takenאַחַתa/CHAToneוְאַחַתve/a/CHATand oneתֵּעָזֵב׃te/a/ZEVwill be left

    Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42. 42

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeשְׁקֹדוּshe/ko/DUkeep watchכִּיkiforאֵינְכֶםe/ne/KHEMyou do notיוֹדְעִיםyod/IMknowבְּאֵי־זוֹbe/E-zoat whatשָׁעָהsha/Ahourיָבֹאya/VOwill comeאֲדֹנֵיכֶם׃a/do/ne/KHEMyour Lord

    Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43. 43

    וְאֶת־זֹאתve/ET-zotand thisדְּעוּde/Uknowאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלוּ־יָדַעlu-ya/DAif had knownבַּעַלBA/althe master ofהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseבְּאֵי־זוֹbe/E-zoin whatאַשְׁמוּרָהash/mu/RAwatchיָבֹאya/VOwould comeהַגַּנָּבhag/gan/NAVthe thiefכִּי־עַתָּהki-at/TAthenשָׁקַדsha/KADhe would have watchedוְלֹאve/LOand notהִנִּיחַhin/NI/achletלַחְתֹּרlach/TORdig throughאֶת־בֵּיתוֹ׃et-be/TOhis house

    But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44. 44

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהֱיוּhe/YUbeנְכוֹנִיםne/kho/NIMreadyגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMyou alsoכִּיkiforבְשָׁעָהve/sha/Ain an hourאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotתְדַמּוּte/dam/MUyou imagineיָבוֹאya/VOwill comeבֶּן־הָאָדָם׃ben-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of man

    Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45. 45

    מִיmiwhoהוּאhuisאֵפוֹאe/FOthenהָעֶבֶדha/E/vedthe servantהַנֶּאֱמַןhan/ne/e/MANfaithfulוְהַנָּבוֹןve/han/na/VONand wiseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomהִפְקִידוֹhif/ki/DOhas appointedאֲדֹנָיוa/do/NAYVhis lordעַל־עֲבָדָיוal-a/va/DAYVover his servantsלָתֵתla/TETto giveלָהֶםla/HEMto themאֶת־אׇכְלָםet-okh/LAMtheir foodבְּעִתּוֹ׃be/it/TOin due season

    Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46. 46

    אַשְׁרֵיash/REblessed isהָעֶבֶדha/E/vedthe servantאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomיָבוֹאya/VOwill comeאֲדֹנָיוa/do/NAYVhis lordוְיִמְצָאֵהוּve/yim/tsa/E/huand find himעֹשֶׂהo/SEdoingכֵּן׃kenso

    Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47. 47

    אָמֵןa/MENamenאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכִּיkithatיַפְקִידֵהוּyaf/ki/de/HUhe will appoint himעַל־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ׃al-kol-a/SHER-loover all that he has

    Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48. 48

    וְאִם־יֹאמַרve/IM-yo/MARand if saysהָעֶבֶדha/E/vedthe servantהָרַעha/RAevilבְּלִבּוֹbe/lib/BOin his heartמְאַחֵרme/a/CHERis lateאֲדֹנִיa/do/NImy lordלָבוֹא׃la/VOto come

    But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49. 49

    וְהִכָּהve/hik/KAand strikesאֶת־חֲבֵרָיוet-cha/ve/RAYVhis fellowsוְאָכַלve/a/KHALand eatsוְשָׁתָהve/sha/TAand drinksעִם־הַסּוֹבְאִים׃im-has/sov/IMwith the drunkards

    And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50. 50

    בּוֹאbocomeיָבוֹאya/VOwill comeאֲדֹנֵיa/do/NEthe lord ofהָעֶבֶדha/E/vedthe servantהַהוּאha/HUthatבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon a dayלֹאlonotיְצַפֶּהye/tsap/PEhe expectsוּבְשָׁעָהu/ve/sha/Aand in an hourלֹאlonotיֵדָע׃ye/DAhe knows

    The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51. 51

    וִישַׁסֵּףvi/shas/SEFand will cut in piecesאֹתוֹo/TOhimוְיָשִׂיםve/ya/SIMand putאֶת־חֶלְקוֹet-chel/KOhis portionעִם־הַחֲנֵפִיםim-ha/cha/ne/FIMwith the hypocritesשָׁםshamthereתִּהְיֶהtih/YEwill beהַיְלָלָהhay/la/LAthe wailingוַחֲרֹקva/cha/ROKand the gnashing ofהַשִּׁנָּיִם׃hash/shin/NA/yimthe teeth

    And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
