   And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.

   וַיְלַמְּדֵםvay/lam/me/DEMand he taught themהַרְבֵּהhar/BEmuchבִּמְשָׁלִיםbim/sha/LIMin parablesוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themבְּלַמְּדוֹbe/lam/me/DOas he taughtאוֹתָם׃o/TAMthem

   And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,

   שִׁמְעוּshim/Uhearשָׁמוֹעַsha/MO/ahearהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdיָצָאya/TSAwent outהַזֹּרֵעַhaz/zo/RE/athe sowerלִזְרֹעַ׃liz/RO/ato sow

   Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

   וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבְזָרְעוֹve/za/re/Oas he sowedוַיִּפֹּלvay/yip/POLand fellמִן־הַזֶּרַעmin-haz/ZE/rasome of the seedעַל־יַדal-yadbesideהַדָּרֶךְhad/DA/rekhthe roadוַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand cameעוֹףofthe birds ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוַיֹּאכְלֻהוּ׃vay/yo/khe/LU/huand ate it

   And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

   וְיֵשׁve/YESHand there was someאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָפַלna/FALfellעַל־מְקוֹםal-me/KOMon a place ofהַסֶּלַעhas/SE/lathe rockאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereאֵין־לוֹen-loit had notשָׁםshamthereאֲדָמָהa/da/MAsoilהַרְבֵּהhar/BEmuchוַיְמַהֵרvay/ma/HERand quicklyלִצְמֹחַlits/MO/achsproutedכִּיkiforלֹא־הָיָהlo-ha/YAthere was notלוֹloto itעֹמֶקO/mekdepth ofאֲדָמָה׃a/da/MAsoil

   And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:

   וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכִּזְרֹחַkiz/RO/achwhen roseהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunוַיִּצָּרֵבvay/yits/tsa/REVit was scorchedוַיִּיבָשׁvay/yi/VASHand it witheredכִּיkiforאֵין־לוֹen-loit had noשֹׁרֶשׁ׃SHO/reshroot

   But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

   וְיֵשׁve/YESHand there was someאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָפַלna/FALfellבֵּיןbenamongהַקֹּצִיםhak/ko/TSIMthe thornsוַיַּעֲלוּvay/ya/a/LUand came upהַקֹּצִיםhak/ko/TSIMthe thornsוַיְמָעֲכֻהוּvay/ma/a/khu/HUand crushed itוְלֹאve/LOand notנָתַןna/TANit gaveפְּרִי׃pe/RIfruit

   And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

   וְיֵשׁve/YESHand there was someאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָפַלna/FALfellעַלalonהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe soilהַטּוֹבָהhat/to/VAgoodוַיִּתֵּןvay/yit/TENand gaveפְּרִיpe/RIfruitעֹלֶהo/LEcoming upוְגָדֵלve/ga/DELand growingוַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand madeזֶהzethisשְׁלֹשִׁיםshe/lo/SHIMthirtyשְׁעָרִיםshe/a/RIMmeasuresוְזֶהve/ZEand thisשִׁשִּׁיםshish/SHIMsixtyוְזֶהve/ZEand thisמֵאָה׃me/Aa hundred

   And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themמִיmiwhoeverאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאׇזְנַיִםoz/NA/yimearsלוֹlohasלִשְׁמֹעַlish/MO/ato hearיִשְׁמָע׃yish/MAlet him hear

   And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבִּהְיוֹתוֹbih/yo/TOwhen he wasלְבַדּוֹle/vad/DOaloneוַיִּגְּשׁוּvay/yig/ge/SHUcame nearהָאֲנָשִׁיםha/a/na/SHIMthe menאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwho wereאִתּוֹit/TOwith himעִם־שְׁנֵים־הֶעָשָׂרim-she/NEM-he/a/SARwith the twelveוַיִּשְׁאָלוּהוּvay/yish/a/lu/HUand asked himעַל־הַמָּשָׁל׃al-ham/ma/SHALabout the parable

    And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

11. 11

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themלָכֶםla/KHEMto youנִתַּןnit/TANit is givenלָדַעַתla/DA/atto knowסוֹדsodthe secret ofמַלְכוּתmal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand those whoמִבַּחוּץmib/ba/CHUTSare outsideלָהֶםla/HEMto themהַכֹּלhak/KOLallבִּמְשָׁלִים׃bim/sha/LIMis in parables

    And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

12. 12

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִרְאוּyir/Uthey seeרָאוֹra/Oseeוְלֹאve/LOand notיֵדְעוּyed/Uknowוְשָׁמְעוּve/sha/me/Uand they hearשָׁמוֹעַsha/MO/ahearוְלֹאve/LOand notיָבִינוּya/VI/nuunderstandפֶּן־יָשׁוּבוּpen-ya/SHU/vulest they turnוְנִסְלַחve/nis/LACHand it be forgivenלְחַטֹּאתָם׃le/chat/to/TAMtheir sins

    That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

13. 13

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidלָהֶםla/HEMto themלֹאlodo notיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowאֶת־הַמָּשָׁלet-ham/ma/SHALthe parableהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְאֵיךְve/EKHand howתָּבִינוּta/VI/nuwill you understandאֶת־הַמְּשָׁלִיםet-ham/me/sha/LIMthe parablesכֻּלָּם׃kul/LAMall of them

    And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

14. 14

    הַזֹּרֵעַhaz/zo/RE/athe sowerהוּאhuheזֹרֵעַzo/RE/asowsאֶת־הַדָּבָר׃et-had/da/VARthe word

    The sower soweth the word.

15. 15

    וְעַל־יַדve/AL-yadand besideהַדֶּרֶךְhad/DE/rekhthe roadאֵלֶּהEL/letheseהֵםhemareאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereיִזָּרַע־בָּםyiz/za/RA-bamis sown in themהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARthe wordוּכְשָׁמְעָםu/khe/sha/me/AMand when they hearאוֹתוֹo/TOitמִיָּדmiy/YADimmediatelyבָּאbacomesהַשָּׂטָןHas/sa/TANSatanוַיִּשָּׂאvay/yis/SAand takes awayאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe wordהַזָּרוּעhaz/za/RUsownבִּלְבָבָם׃bil/va/VAMin their heart

    And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

16. 16

    וְכֵןve/KHENand soהַנִּזְרָעִיםhan/niz/ra/IMthose sownעַל־מְקֹמוֹתal-me/ko/MOTon the places ofהַסֶּלַעhas/SE/lathe rockהֵםhemthey areהַשֹּׁמְעִיםhash/shom/IMwho hearאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe wordוּמַהֵרu/ma/HERand quicklyבְּשִׂמְחָהbe/sim/CHAwith gladnessיִקָּחֻהוּ׃yik/ka/chu/HUthey take it

    And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

17. 17

    אַךְakhbutאֵין־לָהֶםen-la/HEMthey have noשֹׁרֶשׁSHO/reshrootבְּקִרְבָּםbe/kir/BAMwithin themוְרַקve/RAKand onlyלְשָׁעָהle/sha/Afor an hourיַעֲמֹדוּya/a/MO/duthey standוְאַחַר־כֵּןve/a/CHAR-kenand afterwardבְּבֹאbe/VOwhen comesצָרָהtsa/RAdistressוּרְדִיפָהu/re/di/FAand persecutionבִּגְלַלbig/LALbecause ofהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARthe wordמְהֵרָהme/he/RAquicklyיִכָּשֵׁלוּ׃yik/ka/SHE/luthey stumble

    And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

18. 18

    וְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand theseהַנִּזְרָעִיםhan/niz/ra/IMwho are sownבֵּיןbenamongהַקֹּצִיםhak/ko/TSIMthe thornsהֵםhemthey areהַשֹּׁמְעִיםhash/shom/IMwho hearאֶת־הַדָּבָר׃et-had/da/VARthe word

    And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

19. 19

    וְדַאֲגוֹתve/da/a/GOTand the worries ofהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוּמִרְמַתu/mir/MATand the deceit ofהָעֹשֶׁרha/O/sherwealthוְתַאֲוֹתve/ta/a/VOTand desires forאֲחֵרוֹתa/che/ROTother thingsבָּאוֹתba/OTcoming inוּמְמָעֲכוֹתu/me/ma/a/KHOTand crushאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe wordוּפְרִיu/fe/RIand fruitלֹאlonotיִהְיֶה־לּוֹ׃yih/YE-loit will have

    And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

20. 20

    וְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand theseהַזְּרוּעִיםhaz/ze/ru/IMwho are sownעַל־הָאֲדָמָהal-ha/a/da/MAon the soilהַטּוֹבָהhat/to/VAgoodהֵםhemthey areהַשֹּׁמְעִיםhash/shom/IMwho hearאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe wordוּמְקַבְּלִיםu/me/kab/be/LIMand receiveאֹתוֹo/TOitוְעֹשִׂיםve/o/SIMand makeפְּרִיpe/RIfruitזֶהzethisשְׁלֹשִׁיםshe/lo/SHIMthirtyשְׁעָרִיםshe/a/RIMmeasuresוְזֶהve/ZEand thisשִׁשִּׁיםshish/SHIMsixtyוְזֶהve/ZEand thisמֵאָה׃me/Aa hundred

    And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

21. 21

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themהֲיָבִיאוּha/ya/vi/Udo they bringהַנֵּרhan/NERthe lampלָשׂוּםla/SUMto putתַּחַתTA/chatunderהָאֵיפָהha/e/FAthe measureוְתַחַתve/TA/chator underהַמִּטָּהham/mit/TAthe bedוְלֹאve/LOand notלְהַעֲלוֹתוֹle/ha/a/lo/TOto set it upעַל־הַמְּנוֹרָה׃al-ham/me/no/RAon the lampstand

    And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?

22. 22

    כִּיkiforאֵין־דָּבָרen-da/VARthere is nothingסָתוּםsa/TUMhiddenאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־יִגָּלֶהlo-yig/ga/LEwill not be revealedוְלֹאve/LOand notנִגְנַזnig/NAZwas concealedדָּבָרda/VARanythingכִּיkibutאִם־לְמַעַןim-le/MA/anonly so thatיֵצֵאye/TSEit may come outלָאוֹר׃la/ORto the light

    For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

23. 23

    כׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERwhoeverאׇזְנַיִםoz/NA/yimearsלוֹlohasלִשְׁמֹעַlish/MO/ato hearיִשְׁמָע׃yish/MAlet him hear

    If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

24. 24

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themרְאוּre/Useeמָהmawhatאַתֶּםat/TEMyouשֹׁמְעִיםshom/IMhearבַּמִּדָּהbam/mid/DAwith the measureאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאַתֶּםat/TEMyouמוֹדְדִיםmod/DIMmeasureבָּהּbawith itיִמַּדyim/MADit will be measuredלָכֶםla/KHEMto youוְעוֹדve/ODand moreיוּסַףyu/SAFwill be addedלָכֶםla/KHEMto youהַשֹּׁמְעִים׃hash/shom/IMwho hear

    And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

25. 25

    כִּיkiforמִיmiwhoeverשֶׁיֶּשׁ־לוֹshey/YESH-lohasנָתוֹןna/TONgiveיִנָּתֵןyin/na/TENwill be givenלוֹloto himוּמִיu/MIand whoeverשֶׁאֵין־לוֹSHE/en-lothat has notיֻקַּחyuk/KACHwill be takenמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nufrom himגַםgamevenאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhatלוֹ׃lohe has

    For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

26. 26

    וַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand he saidמַלְכוּתmal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodהִיאhiisכְאָדָםkhe/a/DAMlike a manמַשְׁלִיךְmash/LIKHthrowingזֶרַעZE/raseedבָּאֲדָמָה׃ba/a/da/MAon the soil

    And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

27. 27

    וְשָׁכַבve/sha/KHAVand lies downוְקָםve/KAMand risesלַיְלָהLAY/lanightוָיוֹםva/YOMand dayוְהַזֶּרַעve/haz/ZE/raand the seedיִצְמַחyits/MACHsproutsוְגָדֵלve/ga/DELand growsוְהוּאve/HUand heלֹאlonotיָדָע׃ya/DAknows

    And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.

28. 28

    כִּיkiforהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthמֵאֵלֶיהָme/e/LE/haby itselfמוֹצִיאָהmo/tsi/Abrings forthפִרְיָהּfir/YAits fruitאֶת־הַדֶּשֶׁאet-had/de/SHEthe grassרִאשׁוֹנָהri/sho/NAfirstוְאַחֲרָיוve/a/cha/RAYVand after itאֶת־הַשִּׁבֹּלֶתet-hash/shib/BO/letthe headוְאַחֲרֵי־כֵןve/a/cha/RE-khenand afterwardאֶת־הַחִטָּהet-ha/chit/TAthe wheatהַמְּלֵאָהham/me/le/Afullבַּשִּׁבֹּלֶת׃bash/shib/BO/letin the head

    For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

29. 29

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand whenגָּמַלga/MALhas ripenedהַפְּרִיhap/pe/RIthe fruitיְמַהֵרye/ma/HERquicklyלִשְׁלֹחַlish/LO/achhe sendsמַגָּלmag/GALthe sickleכִּיkiforבָשַׁלva/SHALis ripeקָצִיר׃ka/TSIRthe harvest

    But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

30. 30

    וַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand he saidאֶל־מַהel-mato whatנְדַמֶּהne/dam/MEshall we likenאֶת־מַלְכוּתet-mal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוּבְאֵי־זֶהu/ve/E-zeand with whatמָשָׁלma/SHALparableנַמְשִׁילֶנָּה׃nam/shi/len/NAshall we compare it

    And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?

31. 31

    כְּגַרְגַּרke/gar/GARlike a grain ofחַרְדָּלchar/DALmustardאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִזָּרַעyiz/za/RAis sownבָּאֲדָמָהba/a/da/MAin the soilוְהוּאve/HUand it isקָטֹןka/TONsmallerמִכׇּל־הַזֵּרֹעִיםmik/KOL-haz/ze/ro/IMthan all the seedsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat areעַל־הָאָרֶץ׃al-ha/A/retson the earth

    It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:

32. 32

    וְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterהִזָּרְעוֹhiz/za/re/Oit is sownיַעֲלֶהya/a/LEit comes upוְיִגְדַּלve/yig/DALand growsעַל־כׇּל־הַיְרָקוֹתal-kol-hay/ra/KOTabove all the plantsוְעָשָׂהve/a/SAand makesעֲנָפִיםa/na/FIMbranchesגְּדוֹלִיםge/do/LIMgreatעַד־אֲשֶׁרad-a/SHERuntilיְקַנְּנוּye/kan/ne/NUnestעוֹףofthe birds ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensבְּצִלּוֹ׃be/tsil/LOin its shade

    But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

33. 33

    וּבִמְשָׁלִיםu/vim/sha/LIMand with parablesרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyכָּאֵלֶּהka/EL/lelike theseדִּבֶּרdib/BERhe spokeאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe wordכְּפִי־אֲשֶׁרke/FI-a/SHERaccording asיָכְלוּya/khe/LUthey were ableלִשְׁמֹעַ׃lish/MO/ato hear it

    And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.

34. 34

    וּבִבְלִיu/viv/LIand withoutמָשָׁלma/SHALa parableלֹאlonotדִבֶּרdib/BERhe spokeאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it wasבִהְיוֹתvih/YOTwhen wereתַּלְמִידָיוtal/mi/DAYVhis disciplesעִמּוֹim/MOwith himוְאֵיןve/ENand there was notאִישׁisha manאִתָּםit/TAMwith themיְבָאֵרye/va/ERhe explainedלָהֶםla/HEMto themאֶת־הַכֹּל׃et-hak/KOLall things

    But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

35. 35

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatלִפְנוֹתlif/NOTat the turning ofעָרֶבA/reveveningוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themנַעְבְּרָהna/be/RAlet us crossאֶל־עֵבֶרel-E/verto the other sideהַיָּם׃hay/YAMthe sea

    And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.

36. 36

    וַיַּנִּיחוּvay/yan/NI/chuand they leftאֶת־הֲמוֹןet-ha/MONthe crowd ofהָעָםha/AMthe peopleוַיִּקְחוּvay/yik/CHUand they tookאֹתוֹo/TOhimבׇּאֳנִיָּהbo/o/niy/YAin the boatאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהָיָהha/YAhe wasבָּהּbain itוׇאֳנִיּוֹתvo/o/niy/YOTand boatsאֲחֵרוֹתa/che/ROTotherקְטַנּוֹתke/tan/NOTlittleהָלְכוּha/le/KHUwentאַחֲרָיו׃a/cha/RAYVafter him

    And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.

37. 37

    וַתָּקׇםvat/TA/komand aroseרוּחַ־סְעָרָהRU/ach-se/a/RAa storm windגְדוֹלָהge/do/LAgreatוַיִּשְׁטְפוּvay/yish/te/FUand sweptהַגַּלִּיםhag/gal/LIMthe wavesאֶל־תּוֹךְel-tokhintoהׇאֳנִיָּהho/o/niy/YAthe boatעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁר־כִּמְעַטa/SHER-kim/ATthat almostמָלֵאָה׃ma/le/Ait was full

    And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

    וְהוּאve/HUand he wasיָשֵׁןya/SHENasleepעַל־הַכֶּסֶתal-hak/KE/seton the cushionבַּאֲחֹרֵיba/a/cho/REat the back ofהׇאֳנִיָּהho/o/niy/YAthe boatוַיָּעִירוּvay/ya/i/RUand they wokeאוֹתוֹo/TOhimוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himרַבִּיrab/BIrabbiהֲלֹאha/LOdo you notתִדְאַגtid/AGyou worryלָנוּLA/nufor usוַאֲנַחְנוּva/a/NACH/nuand weאֹבְדִים׃ov/DIMare perishing

    And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

39. 39

    וַיֵּעוֹרvay/ye/ORand he awokeוַיִּגְעַרvay/yig/ARand rebukedבָּרוּחַba/RU/achthe windוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֶל־הַיָּםel-hay/YAMto the seaהַסhashushוָדֹםva/DOMand be stillוַתָּשָׁךְvat/ta/SHAKHand subsidedהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe windוַתְּהִיvat/te/HIand there wasדְמָמָהde/ma/MAa stillnessרַבָּה׃rab/BAgreat

    And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40. 40

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themלָמָּהLAM/mawhyחֲרֵדִיםcha/re/DIMtremblingאַתֶּםat/TEMare youאֵיךְekhhowחֲסַרְתֶּםcha/sar/TEMyou lackאֱמוּנָה׃e/mu/NAfaith

    And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

41. 41

    וַיִּירְאוּvay/yi/re/Uand they fearedיִרְאָהyir/Aa fearגְדוֹלָהge/do/LAgreatוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidאִישׁisha manאֶל־רֵעֵהוּel-re/E/huto his neighborמִיmiwhoאֵפוֹאe/FOthenהוּאhuis heאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatגַּםgamevenהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe windוְגַםve/GAMand alsoהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaשֹׁמְעִיםshom/IMobeyלוֹ׃lohim

    And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
