1. 1

   וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenעָבַרa/VARhad passedיוֹםyomthe day ofהַשַּׁבָּתhash/shab/BATthe sabbathוַתִּקְנֶינָהvat/tik/ne/NAboughtמִרְיָםMir/YAMMaryהַמַּגְדָּלִיתHam/mag/da/LITMagdaleneוּמִרְיָםu/Mir/YAMand Maryאֵםemthe mother ofיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVJamesוּשְׁלֹמִיתu/She/lo/MITand Salomeסַמִּיםsam/MIMspicesלָבוֹאla/VOto comeוְלָסוּךְve/la/SUKHand anointאֹתוֹo/TOhimבָּהֶם׃ba/HEMwith them

   And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

   וּבְאֶחָדu/ve/e/CHADand on the firstבַּשַּׁבָּתbash/shab/BATof the weekבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kerin the morningהַשְׁכֵּםhash/KEMearlyמְאֹדme/ODveryבָּאוּBA/uthey cameאֶל־הַקָּבֶרel-hak/KA/verto the tombכַּעֲלוֹתka/a/LOTat the rising ofהַשָּׁמֶשׁ׃hash/SHA/meshthe sun

   And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

   וַתֹּאמַרְנָהvat/to/MAR/naand they saidאִשָּׁהish/SHAa womanאֶל־אֲחוֹתָהּel-a/cho/TAto her sisterמִיmiwhoיָגֶל־לָנוּYA/gel-LA/nuwill roll for usאֶת־הָאֶבֶןet-ha/E/venthe stoneמֵעַלme/ALfromפֶּתַחPE/tachthe opening ofהַקָּבֶר׃hak/KA/verthe tomb

   And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

   וּבְהַבִּיטָןu/ve/hab/bi/TANand when they lookedרָאוּra/Uthey sawוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdנִגְלְלָהnig/le/LAhad been rolledהָאֶבֶןha/E/venthe stoneכִּיkiforהָיְתָהha/ye/TAit wasגְּדֹלָהge/do/LAgreatמְאֹד׃me/ODvery

   And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

   וַתָּבֹאנָהvat/ta/VO/naand they enteredאֶל־תּוֹךְel-tokhintoהַקָּבֶרhak/KA/verthe tombוַתִּרְאֶינָהvat/tir/E/naand they sawבָּחוּרba/CHURa young manאֶחָדe/CHADoneיֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVsittingמִיָּמִיןmiy/ya/MINat the rightוְהוּאve/HUand heעֹטֶהo/TEwrapped inשִׂמְלָהsim/LAa garmentלְבָנָהle/va/NAwhiteוַתִּשְׁתּוֹמַמְנָה׃vat/tish/to/mam/NAand they were astonished

   And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶןa/le/HENto themאַל־תִּשְׁתּוֹמַמְנָהal-tish/to/mam/NAdo not be astonishedאֶת־יֵשׁוּעַet-Ye/SHU/aJesusהַנָּצְרִיhan/Na/tse/RIthe Nazareneהַנִּצְלָבhan/nits/LAVwho was crucifiedאַתֵּןat/TENyouמְבַקְשׁוֹתme/vak/SHOTare seekingהוּאhuheקָםkamhas risenאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nuis notפֹהfohereהִנֵּה־זֶהhin/NE-zebehold this isהַמָּקוֹםham/ma/KOMthe placeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereהִשְׁכִּיבֻהוּhish/ki/vu/HUthey laid himבוֹ׃voin it

   And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

   וְאַתֵּןve/at/TENand youלֵכְנָהLEKH/nagoוְהִגַּדְתֶּןve/hig/gad/TENand tellלְתַלְמִידָיוle/tal/mi/DAYVhis disciplesוּלְפֶטְרוֹסu/Le/fet/ROSand Peterכִּיkithatהוֹלֵךְho/LEKHis goingהוּאhuheלִפְנֵיכֶםlif/ne/KHEMbefore youהַגָּלִילָהhag/Ga/LI/lato Galileeוְשָׁםve/SHAMand thereתִּרְאֻהוּtir/u/HUyou will see himכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasאָמַרa/MARhe saidלָכֶם׃la/KHEMto you

   But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

   וַתְּמַהֵרְנָהvat/te/ma/her/NAand they hurriedלָצֵאתla/TSETto go outוַתְּנוּסֶינָהvat/te/nu/se/NAand fledמִן־הַקֶּבֶרmin-hak/KE/verfrom the tombכִּיkiforאֲחָזָתַןa/cha/za/TANseized themרְעָדָהre/a/DAtremblingוְתִמָּהוֹןve/tim/ma/HONand amazementוְלֹא־הִגִּידוּve/LO-hig/GI/duand they did not tellדָבָרda/VARa wordלְאִישׁle/ISHto any manכִּיkiforיָרֵאוּ׃ya/re/Uthey were afraid

   And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.

   וְיֵשׁוּעַve/Ye/SHU/aand Jesusכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenקָםkamhe roseמִן־הַמֵּתִיםmin-ham/me/TIMfrom the deadהַשְׁכֵּםhash/KEMearlyבְּאֶחָדbe/e/CHADon the firstבַּשַּׁבָּתbash/shab/BATof the weekנִרְאָהnir/Ahe appearedבָרִאשֹׁנָהva/ri/sho/NAfirstאֶל־מִרְיָםel-Mir/YAMto MaryהַמַּגְדָּלִיתHam/mag/da/LITMagdaleneאֲשֶׁרa/SHERfrom whomגֵּרַשׁge/RASHhe had cast outמִמֶּנָּהmim/MEN/nafrom herשִׁבְעָהshiv/Asevenשֵׁדִים׃she/DIMdemons

   Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

10. 10

    וַתֵּלֶךְvat/TE/lekhand she wentוַתַּגֵּדvat/tag/GEDand toldלָאֲנָשִׁיםla/a/na/SHIMthe menאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהָיוּha/YUhad beenעִמּוֹim/MOwith himוְהֵםve/HEMand they wereמִתְאַבְּלִיםmit/ab/be/LIMmourningוּבֹכִים׃u/vo/KHIMand weeping

    And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

11. 11

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand whenשָׁמְעוּsha/me/Uthey heardכִּיkithatחַיchayhe was aliveוְנִרְאָהve/nir/Aand was seenאֵלֶיהָe/LE/haby herלֹאlonotהֶאֱמִינוּhe/e/MI/nuthey believedלָהּ׃laher

    And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

12. 12

    וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵןve/a/cha/RE-khenand afterwardנִרְאָהnir/Ahe appearedבִּדְמוּתbid/MUTin a formאַחֶרֶתa/CHE/retotherלִשְׁנַיִםlish/NA/yimto twoמֵהֶםme/HEMof themבַּדָּרֶךְbad/DA/rekhon the roadבִּהְיֹתָםbih/yo/TAMas they wereיוֹצְאִיםyots/IMgoing outהַשָּׂדֶה׃has/sa/DEto the field

    After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.

13. 13

    וְהֵםve/HEMand theyהָלְכוּha/le/KHUwentוַיַּגִּידוּvay/yag/GI/duand toldלָאֲחֵרִיםla/a/che/RIMthe othersוְגַם־לָהֶםve/GAM-la/HEMand them alsoלֹאlonotהֶאֱמִינוּ׃he/e/MI/nuthey believed

    And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.

14. 14

    וּבָאַחֲרֹנָהu/va/a/cha/ro/NAand at lastנִרְאָהnir/Ahe appearedלְעַשְׁתֵּי־הֶעָשָׂרle/ash/TE-he/a/SARto the elevenבִּהְיוֹתָםbih/yo/TAMas they wereמְסֻבִּיםme/sub/BIMrecliningלֶאֱכֹלle/e/KHOLto eatוַיְחָרֵףvay/cha/REFand reproachedחֶסְרוֹןches/RONthe want ofאֱמוּנָתָםe/mu/na/TAMtheir faithוּקְשִׁיu/ke/SHIand the hardness ofלְבָבָםle/va/VAMtheir heartאֲשֶׁרa/SHERbecauseלֹא־הֶאֱמִינוּlo-he/e/MI/nuthey did not believeלְרֹאָיוle/ro/AYVthose who saw himוְהוּאve/HUand heנֵעוֹרne/ORhad been awakenedמִן־הַמֵּתִים׃min-ham/me/TIMfrom the dead

    Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

15. 15

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themלְכוּle/KHUgoאֶל־כׇּל־הָעוֹלָםel-kol-ha/o/LAMinto all the worldוְקִרְאוּve/kir/Uand proclaimאֶת־הַבְּשׂוֹרָהet-hab/be/so/RAthe gospelלְכׇל־בְּרִיָּה׃le/KHOL-be/riy/YAto every creature

    And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16. 16

    הַמַּאֲמִיןham/ma/a/MINhe that believesוְהַנִּטְבָּלve/han/nit/BALand is baptizedיִוָּשֵׁעַyiv/va/SHE/awill be savedוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERbut he whoלֹא־יַאֲמִיןlo-ya/a/MINdoes not believeיֻרְשַׁע׃yur/SHAwill be damned

    He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17. 17

    וְהָאוֹתוֹתve/ha/o/TOTand the signsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseיֵלְכוּyel/KHUwill goאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterהַמַּאֲמִינִיםham/ma/a/mi/NIMthose who believeבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameיְגָרְשׁוּye/ga/re/SHUthey will cast outשֵׁדִיםshe/DIMdemonsיְדַבְּרוּye/dab/be/RUthey will speakבִּלְשׁוֹנוֹתbil/sho/NOTwith tonguesחֲדָשׁוֹת׃cha/da/SHOTnew

    And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18. 18

    יִשְׂאוּyis/Uthey will take upנְחָשִׁיםne/cha/SHIMserpentsוְאִם־יִשְׁתּוּve/IM-yish/TUand if they drinkסַם־מָוֶתsam-MA/vetdeadly poisonלֹאlonotיַזִּיקֵםyaz/zi/KEMwill hurt themיָשִׂימוּya/SI/muthey will layיְדֵיהֶםye/de/HEMtheir handsעַל־הַחוֹלִיםal-ha/cho/LIMon the sickוְיִרְפָּאוּ׃ve/yir/pa/Uand they will recover

    They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19. 19

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterאֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּרa/SHER-dib/BERhad spokenאִתָּםit/TAMto themהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordוַיִּנָּשֵׂאvay/yin/na/SEand he was taken upהַשָּׁמָיְמָהhash/sha/MAY/mato heavenוַיֵּשֶׁבvay/YE/shevand satלִימִיןli/MINon the right hand ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

    So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

20. 20

    וְהֵמָּהve/HEM/maand theyיָצְאוּya/tse/Uwent outוַיִּקְרְאוּvay/yik/re/Uand proclaimedבְּכׇל־הַמְּקֹמוֹתbe/KHOL-ham/me/ko/MOTin every placeוְיַדve/YADand the hand ofהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordהָיְתָהha/ye/TAwasעִמָּהֶםim/ma/HEMwith themוַיְחַזֵּקvay/chaz/ZEKand confirmedאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe wordבָּאֹתוֹתba/o/TOTwith the signsהַבָּאוֹתhab/ba/OTcomingאַחֲרָיוa/cha/RAYVafter itאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
