    וַיְהִיAndבְּצֵאתוֹas he went outמִן־הַמִּקְדָּשׁof the temple,וַיֹּאמֶרsaithאֵלָיוunto him,אֶחָדoneמִתַּלְמִידָיוof his disciplesרַבִּיMaster,רְאֵהseeמַה־יָּפוּwhat manner ofהָאֲבָנִיםstonesוְהַבִּנְיָנִיםand what buildingsהָאֵלֶּה׃are here!

    And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

    וַיַּעַןAnd answeringאֹתוֹhim,יֵשׁוּעַJesusוַיֹּאמַרsaidהֲרָאִיתָSee youאֶת־הַבִּנְיָנִיםbuildings?הַגְּדוֹלִיםgreatהָאֵלֶּהtheseלֹא־תִּשָּׁאֵרthere shall not be leftאֶבֶןone stoneעַל־אֶבֶןupon another,אֲשֶׁרthatלֹאnotתִתְפָּרָק׃shall be thrown down.

    And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

    וַיֵּשֶׁבAnd as he satעַל־הַרupon the mount ofהַזֵּיתִיםOlivesמִמּוּלover againstהַמִּקְדָּשׁthe temple,וַיִּשְׁאָלֻהוּasked himפֶטְרוֹסPeterוְיַעֲקֹבand Jamesוְיוֹחָנָןand Johnוְאַנְדְּרַיand Andrewוְהֵםwhen they wereלְבַדָּםprivately,אִתּוֹ׃with him,

    And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

    אֱמׇר־נָאTellלָנוּus,מָתַיwhenתִּהְיֶה־זֹּאתshall these things be?וּמַה־הוּאand what shall beהָאוֹתthe signבְּבֹאwhenהָעֵתthe timeאֲשֶׁרwhereinתֵּעָשֶׂה־בָּהּshall be fulfilledכׇּל־זֹאת׃all these things?

    Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

    וַיַּעַןAnd answeringיֵשׁוּעַJesusוַיְדַבֵּרbegan to sayאֲלֵיהֶםunto them,הִשָּׁמְרוּTake heedלָכֶםto yourselvesפֶּן־יַתְעֶהlest deceiveאֶתְכֶםyou:אִישׁ׃any man

    And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

    כִּיForרַבִּיםmanyיָבֹאוּshall comeבִּשְׁמִיin my name,לֵאמֹרsaying,אֲנִיI amהוּאChrist;וְהִתְעוּand shall deceiveרַבִּים׃many.

    For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

    וּבְשָׁמְעֲכֶםAnd when you shall hearמִלְחָמוֹתof warsוּשְׁמֻעוֹתand rumorsמִלְחָמָהof wars,אַל־תִּבָּהֵלוּbe you not troubled:כִּי־הָיוֹfor surelyתִהְיֶהshall beזֹאתthese things;וְעוֹדbutלֹאnotבָאshall be yet.הַקֵּץ׃the end

    And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

    כִּי־יָקוּםFor shall riseגּוֹיnationעַל־גּוֹיagainst nation,וּמַמְלָכָהand kingdomעַל־מַמְלָכָהagainst kingdom:וְהָיָהand there shall beרַעַשׁearthquakesכֹּהin diversוָכֹהplaces,וְהָיָהand there shall beרָעָבfaminesוּמְהוּמָהand troubles:אֵלֶּהthese areרֵאשִׁיתthe beginnings ofהַחֲבָלִים׃sorrows.

    For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

    וְאַתֶּםButהִשָּׁמְרוּtake heedבְנַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶםto yourselves:כִּי־יִמְסְרוּfor they shall deliverאֶתְכֶםyou upלְסַנְהֶדְרִיּוֹתto councils;וְהֻכֵּיתֶםand you shall be beatenבְּבָתֵּיinכְנֵסִיּוֹתthe synagogues:וְלִפְנֵיand beforeנְגִידִיםrulersוּמְלָכִיםand kingsתּוּבְאוּyou shall be broughtלְמַעֲנִיfor my sake,לְעֵדוּתfor a testimonyלָהֶם׃against them.

    But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

    וְהַבְּשׂוֹרָהAnd the gospelצְרִיכָהmustלְהִקָּרֵאbe publishedבָרִאשֹׁנָהfirstלְכׇל־הַגּוֹיִם׃among all nations.

    And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

  11. 11

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרBut whenיוֹלִיכוּthey shall leadוּמָסְרוּand deliver upאֶתְכֶםyou,אַל־תִּדְאֲגוּtake no thought beforehandוְאַל־תְּחַשְּׁבוּneither do you premeditateמַה־תְּדַבֵּרוּwhat you shall speak,כִּיbutהַדָּבָרwhatsoeverאֲשֶׁרwhichיוּשַׂםshall be givenבְּפִיכֶםyouבַּשָּׁעָהin hour,הַהִיאthatאוֹתוֹthatתְדַבֵּרוּspeak you:יַעַןforאֲשֶׁרthatלֹא־אַתֶּםit is not youהַמְדַבְּרִיםthat speak,כִּיbutאִם־רוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃the Holy Ghost.

    But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

  12. 12

    וְאָחNow the brotherיִמְסֹרshall betrayאֶת־אָחִיוthe brotherלַמָּוֶתto death,וְאָבand the fatherאֶת־בְּנוֹthe son;וְקָמוּand shall rise upבָנִיםchildrenבַּאֲבוֹתָםagainst their parents,וְהֵמִיתוּand shall cause to be put to death.אוֹתָם׃them

    Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

  13. 13

    וִהְיִיתֶםAnd you shall beשְׂנוּאִיםhatedלַכֹּלof all menלְמַעַןforשְׁמִיmy name's sake:וְהַמְחַכֶּהbut he that shall endureעַד־עֵתuntoקֵץthe end,הוּאthe sameיִוָּשֵׁעַ׃shall be saved.

    And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

  14. 14

    וְכִיBut whenתִרְאוּyou shall seeאֶת־שִׁקּוּץthe abomination ofמְשֹׁמֵםdesolation,אֲשֶׁרwhich wasאָמַרspoken ofדָּנִיֵּאלby Danielהַנָּבִיאthe prophet,עֹמֵדstandingבַּמָּקוֹםin the placeאֲשֶׁרwhereלֹא־לוֹit ought not,הַקּוֹרֵא(let him that readethיָבִיןunderstand,)אָזthenנוֹסlet themיָנוּסוּfleeאַנְשֵׁיthat be inיְהוּדָהJudaeaאֶל־הֶהָרִים׃to the mountains:

    But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judæa flee to the mountains:

    וַאֲשֶׁרAnd let him thatעַל־הַגָּגis on the housetopאַל־יֵרֵדnot go downהַבַּיְתָהinto the house,וְאַל־יָבֹאneither enterבוֹtherein,לָשֵׂאתto takeדָּבָרany thingמִבֵּיתוֹ׃out of his house:

    And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

  16. 16

    וַאֲשֶׁרAnd let him thatבַּשָׂדֶהis in the fieldאַל־יָשֹׁבnot turn backהַבַּיְתָהagain,לָשֵׂאתfor to take upמַלְבּוּשׁוֹ׃his garment.

    And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

  17. 17

    וְאוֹיBut woeלֶהָרוֹתto them that are with child,וְלַמֵּינִיקוֹתand to them that give suckבַּיָּמִיםin days!הָהֵמָּה׃those

    But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

  18. 18

    אַךְAndהִתְפַּלֲלוּpray youאֲשֶׁרthatלֹא־תִהְיֶהbe notמְנוּסַתְכֶםyour flightבַּחֹרֶף׃in the winter.

    And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.

  19. 19

    כִּיForהַיָּמִיםdaysהָהֵםin thoseיִהְיוּshall beעֵתa time ofצָרָהaffliction,אֲשֶׁרsuch asלֹא־נִהְיְתָהwas notכָמוֹהָthe likeמֵרֵאשִׁיתfrom the beginning ofהַבְּרִיאָהthe creationאֲשֶׁרwhichבָּרָאcreatedאֱלֹהִיםGodעַד־עַתָּהunto this time,וְכָמוֹהָneither the likeלֹא־תִהְיֶהshall beעוֹד׃ever.

    For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

  20. 20

    וְלוּלֵיAnd except thatקִצֵּרhad shortenedהָאָדוֹןthe Lordאֶת־הַיָּמִיםdays,הָהֵםthoseלֹא־יִוָּשַׁעshould be saved:כׇּל־בָּשָׂרno fleshאַךְbutלְמַעַןfor sake,הַבְּחִירִיםthe elect'sאֲשֶׁרwhomבָּחַרhe hath chosenבָּםthem,קִצֵּרhe hath shortenedאֶת־הַיָּמִים׃the days.

    And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

  21. 21

    וְאָזAnd thenאִם־יֹאמַרif shall sayאֲלֵיכֶםto you,אִישׁany manהִנֵּה־פֹהLo, here isהַמָּשִׁיחַChrist;אוֹor,הִנֵּהוּlo, he isשָׁםthere;אַל־תַּאֲמִינוּ׃believe him not:

    And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

  22. 22

    כִּיForיָקוּמוּshall rise,מְשִׁיחֵיChristsשֶׁקֶרfalseוּנְבִיאֵיand prophetsשָׁקֶרfalseוְנָתְנוּand shall shewאֹתוֹתsignsוּמוֹפְתִיםand wonders,לְהַתְעוֹתto seduce,אַףevenאֶת־הַבְּחִירִיםthe elect.אִם־יוּכָלוּ׃if it were possible,

    For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

  23. 23

    וְאַתֶּםBut youרְאוּtake heed:הִנֵּהbehold,מֵרֹאשׁbeforehandהִגַּדְתִּיI have foretoldלָכֶםyouאֶת־כֹּל׃all things.

    But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

  24. 24

    וְהָיָהButבַּיָּמִיםin days,הָהֵםthoseאַחֲרֵיafterהַצָּרָהtribulation,הַהִיאthatתֶּחְשַׁךְshall be darkened,הַשֶּׁמֶשׁthe sunוְהַיָּרֵחַand the moonלֹא־יַגִּיהַּshall not giveאוֹרוֹ׃her light,

    But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

  25. 25

    וְהַכּוֹכָבִיםAnd the starsיִפְּלוּshall fall,מִן־הַשָּׁמַיִםof heavenוַחֲיָלֵיand the powersהַשָּׁמַיִםthat are in heavenיִתְמוֹטָטוּ׃shall be shaken.

    And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

  26. 26

    וְאָזAnd thenיִרְאוּshall they seeאֶת־בֶּן־הָאָדָםthe Son of manבָּאcomingבַעֲנָנִיםin the cloudsבִּגְבוּרָהwith powerרַבָּהgreatוּבְכָבוֹד׃and glory.

    And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

  27. 27

    וְאָזAnd thenיִשְׁלַחshall he sendאֶת־מַלְאָכָיוhis angels,וִיקַבֵּץand shall gather togetherאֶת־בְּחִירָיוhis electמֵאַרְבַּעfrom the fourהָרוּחוֹתwinds,מִקְצֵהfrom the uttermost part ofהָאָרֶץthe earthעַד־קְצֵהto the uttermost part ofהַשָּׁמָיִם׃heaven.

    And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

  28. 28

    וּמִן־הַתְּאֵנָהNow of the fig treeלִמְדוּ־נָאlearnאֶת־מְשַׁלthe parableהַדָּבָרof it;כְּשֶׁיִּרְטַבWhen is yet tender,עֲנָפָהּher branchוּפָרַחand putteth forthעָלֶהָleaves,יְדַעְתֶּםyou knowכִּיthatקָרוֹבis near:הַקָּיִץ׃summer

    Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

  29. 29

    כֵּןSoגַּם־אַתֶּםyou in like manner,בִּרְאֹתְכֶםwhen you shall seeכִּי־הָיוּcome to pass,אֵלֶּהthese thingsדְּעוּknowכִּי־קָרוֹבthat it is nigh,הוּאevenבַּפָּתַח׃at the doors.

    So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

  30. 30

    אָמֵןVerilyאֹמֵרsayאֲנִיIלָכֶםunto you,לֹאthat notיַעֲבֹרshall pass,הַדּוֹרgenerationהַזֶּהthisעַדtillאֲשֶׁר־יִהְיוּbe done.כׇּל־אֵלֶּה׃all these things

    Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

  31. 31

    הַשָּׁמַיִםHeavenוְהָאָרֶץand earthיַעֲבֹרוּshall pass away:וּדְבָרַיbut my wordsלֹאnotיַעֲבֹרוּן׃shall pass away.

    Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

  32. 32

    אַךְButעֶת־בּוֹאofהַיּוֹםdayהַהוּאthatוְהַשָּׁעָהand hourהַהִיאthatאֵיןnoאִישׁmanיוֹדֵעַknoweth,גַּם־לֹאno, notמַלְאֲכֵיthe angelsהַשָּׁמַיִםwhich are in heaven,גַּם־לֹאneitherהַבֵּןthe Son,מִבַּלְעֲדֵיbutהָאָב׃the Father.

    But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

  33. 33

    רְאוּTake you heed,שִׁקְדוּwatchוְהִתְפַּלֵּלוּand pray:כִּיforלֹאnotיְדַעְתֶּםyou knowמָתַיwhenהָעֵת׃the time is.

    Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

  34. 34

    וְהָיָהFor the Son of man isכְּאִישׁas a manהוֹלֵךְtakingלַמֶּרְחָקa far journey,אֲשֶׁרwhoעָזַבleftאֶת־בֵּיתוֹhis house,וַיִּתֵּןand gaveרָשׁוּתauthorityלַעֲבָדָיוto his servants,וּלְאִישׁand to every manאֶת־מְלַאכְתּוֹhis work,וְאֶת־הַשׂוֹעֵרand the porterצִוָּהcommandedלִשְׁקֹד׃to watch.

    For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

  35. 35

    לָכֵןthereforeשִׁקְדוּWatch you:כִּיforלֹאnotיְדַעְתֶּםyou knowמָתַיwhenיָבוֹאcometh,בַּעַלthe master ofהַבָּיִתthe houseאִם־בָּעֶרֶבat even,אוֹ־בַחֲצוֹתor at midnight,הַלַּיְלָהof the night,אִם־בְּעֵתor atקְרִיאַתthe crowing ofהַתַּרְנְגוֹלthe cock,אוֹorבַבֹּקֶר׃in the morning:

    Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

  36. 36

    פֶּן־יָבוֹאLest comingפִתְאֹםsuddenlyוּמָצָאhe findאֶתְכֶםyouיְשֵׁנִים׃sleeping.

    Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

  37. 37

    וְאֵתAndאֲשֶׁרwhatאָמַרְתִּיI sayלָכֶםunto youהִנְנִיbehold,אֹמֵרI sayלַכֹּלunto all,שְׁקֹדוּ׃Watch.

    And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
