   וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבְּצֵאתוֹbe/tse/TOas he went outמִן־הַמִּקְדָּשׁmin-ham/mik/DASHfrom the templeוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himאֶחָדe/CHADoneמִתַּלְמִידָיוmit/tal/mi/DAYVof his disciplesרַבִּיrab/BIrabbiרְאֵהre/Eseeמַה־יָּפוּma-ya/FUhow beautiful areהָאֲבָנִיםha/a/va/NIMthe stonesוְהַבִּנְיָנִיםve/hab/bin/ya/NIMand the buildingsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

   And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

   וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredאֹתוֹo/TOhimיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidהֲרָאִיתָha/ra/I/tado you seeאֶת־הַבִּנְיָנִיםet-hab/bin/ya/NIMthe buildingsהַגְּדוֹלִיםhag/ge/do/LIMgreatהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלֹא־תִּשָּׁאֵרlo-tish/sha/ERwill not be leftאֶבֶןE/vena stoneעַל־אֶבֶןal-E/venon a stoneאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotתִתְפָּרָק׃tit/pa/RAKwill be torn down

   And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

   וַיֵּשֶׁבvay/YE/shevand he satעַל־הַרal-haron the mount ofהַזֵּיתִיםHaz/ze/TIMOlivesמִמּוּלmim/MULoppositeהַמִּקְדָּשׁham/mik/DASHthe templeוַיִּשְׁאָלֻהוּvay/yish/a/lu/HUand asked himפֶטְרוֹסFet/ROSPeterוְיַעֲקֹבve/Ya/a/KOVand Jamesוְיוֹחָנָןve/Yo/cha/NANand Johnוְאַנְדְּרַיve/An/de/RAYand Andrewוְהֵםve/HEMand they wereלְבַדָּםle/vad/DAMaloneאִתּוֹ׃it/TOwith him

   And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

   אֱמׇר־נָאe/MOR-nasay nowלָנוּLA/nuusמָתַיma/TAYwhenתִּהְיֶה־זֹּאתtih/YE-zotwill this beוּמַה־הוּאu/MA-huand what isהָאוֹתha/OTthe signבְּבֹאbe/VOwhen comesהָעֵתha/ETthe timeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתֵּעָשֶׂה־בָּהּte/a/SE-bawill be done in itכׇּל־זֹאת׃kol-zotall these things

   Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

   וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיָּחֶלvay/YA/cheland beganלֵאמֹרle/MORto sayאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themהִשָּׁמְרוּhish/sha/me/RUbewareלָכֶםla/KHEMyourselvesפֶּן־יַתְעֶהpen-yat/Elest lead astrayאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouאִישׁ׃isha man

   And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

6. 6

   כִּיkiforרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyיָבֹאוּya/VO/uwill comeבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאֲנִיa/NIIהוּאhuam heהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahוְהִתְעוּve/hit/Uand will lead astrayרַבִּים׃rab/BIMmany

   For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

7. 7

   וּבְשָׁמְעֲכֶםu/ve/sha/me/a/KHEMand when you hearמִלְחָמוֹתmil/cha/MOTwarsוּשְׁמֻעוֹתu/she/mu/OTand reports ofמִלְחָמָהmil/cha/MAwarאַל־תִּבָּהֵלוּal-tib/ba/he/LUdo not be alarmedכִּי־הָיוֹki-ha/YOfor beתִהְיֶהtih/YEit will beזֹאתzotthisוְעוֹדve/ODand stillלֹאlonotבָאvahas comeהַקֵּץ׃hak/KETSthe end

   And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

8. 8

   כִּי־יָקוּםki-ya/KUMfor will riseגּוֹיgoynationעַל־גּוֹיal-goyagainst nationוּמַמְלָכָהu/mam/la/KHAand kingdomעַל־מַמְלָכָהal-mam/la/KHAagainst kingdomוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand there will beרַעַשׁRA/ashearthquakeכֹּהkohereוָכֹהva/KHOand thereוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand there will beרָעָבra/AVfamineוּמְהוּמָהu/me/HU/maand tumultאֵלֶּהEL/lethese areרֵאשִׁיתre/SHITthe beginnings ofהַחֲבָלִים׃ha/cha/va/LIMsorrows

   For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

   וְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youהִשָּׁמְרוּhish/sha/me/RUbewareבְנַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶםve/naf/sho/te/KHEMto yourselvesכִּי־יִמְסְרוּki-yim/se/RUfor they will deliverאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyou upלְסַנְהֶדְרִיּוֹתle/san/hed/riy/YOTto councilsוְהֻכֵּיתֶםve/huk/ke/TEMand you will be struckבְּבָתֵּיbe/vat/TEin the houses ofכְנֵסֶתkhe/NE/setassemblyוְלִפְנֵיve/lif/NEand beforeנְגִידִיםne/gi/DIMrulersוּמְלָכִיםu/me/la/KHIMand kingsתּוּבְאוּtuv/Uyou will be broughtלְמַעֲנִיle/ma/a/NIfor my sakeלְעֵדוּתle/e/DUTfor a testimonyלָהֶם׃la/HEMto them

   But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

    וְהַבְּשׂוֹרָהve/hab/be/so/RAand the gospelצְרִיכָהtse/ri/KHAmustלְהִקָּרֵאle/hik/ka/REbe proclaimedבָרִאשֹׁנָהva/ri/sho/NAfirstלְכׇל־הַגּוֹיִם׃le/KHOL-hag/go/YIMto all the nations

    And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

11. 11

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand whenיוֹלִיכוּyo/li/KHUthey leadוּמָסְרוּu/ma/se/RUand deliverאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouאַל־תִּדְאֲגוּal-tid/a/GUdo not worryמֵרֹאשׁme/ROSHbeforehandוְאַל־תְּחַשְּׁבוּve/AL-te/chash/she/VUand do not thinkמַה־תְּדַבֵּרוּma-te/dab/be/RUwhat you will speakכִּיkibutאֵת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhateverיִנָּתֵןyin/na/TENis givenלָכֶםla/KHEMto youבַּשָּׁעָהbash/sha/Aat the hourהַהִיאha/HIthatאוֹתוֹo/TOitתְדַבֵּרוּte/dab/be/RUspeakיַעַןYA/anbecauseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־אַתֶּםlo-at/TEMnot you areהַמְדַבְּרִיםham/dab/be/RIMthe ones speakingכִּיkibutאִם־רוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃im-RU/ach-Hak/KO/deshrather the Holy Spirit

    But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

12. 12

    וְאָחve/ACHand a brotherיִמְסֹרyim/SORwill deliverאֶת־אָחִיוet-a/CHIVhis brotherלַמָּוֶתlam/MA/vetto deathוְאָבve/AVand a fatherאֶת־בְּנוֹet-be/NOhis sonוְקָמוּve/KA/muand will riseבָנִיםva/NIMchildrenבַּאֲבוֹתָםba/a/vo/TAMagainst their parentsוְהֵמִיתוּve/he/MI/tuand will killאוֹתָם׃o/TAMthem

    Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

13. 13

    וִהְיִיתֶםvih/yi/TEMand you will beשְׂנוּאִיםse/nu/IMhatedלַכֹּלlak/KOLby allלְמַעַןle/MA/anfor the sake ofשְׁמִיshe/MImy nameוְהַמַּחֲזִיקve/ham/ma/cha/ZIKbut he who enduresעַד־הַקֵּץad-hak/KETSto the endהוּאhuheיִוָּשֵׁעַ׃yiv/va/SHE/awill be saved

    And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14. 14

    וְכִיve/KHIand whenתִרְאוּtir/Uyou seeאֶת־שִׁקּוּץet-shik/KUTSthe abomination ofמְשֹׁמֵםme/sho/MEMdesolationאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאָמַרa/MARspoke ofדָּנִיֵּאלDa/niy/YELDanielהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetעֹמֵדo/MEDstandingבַּמָּקוֹםbam/ma/KOMin the placeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereלֹא־לוֹlo-loit should not beהַקּוֹרֵאhak/ko/REthe readerיָבִיןya/VINlet him understandאָזazthenנוֹסnosfleeיָנוּסוּya/NU/sulet fleeאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEthe men ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudaeaאֶל־הֶהָרִים׃el-he/ha/RIMto the mountains

    But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judæa flee to the mountains:

15. 15

    וַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand he who isעַל־הַגָּגal-hag/GAGon the roofאַל־יֵרֵדal-ye/REDlet him not go downהַבַּיְתָהhab/BAY/tato the houseוְאַל־יָבֹאve/AL-ya/VOand let him not enterבוֹvoitלָשֵׂאתla/SETto takeדָּבָרda/VARanythingמִבֵּיתוֹ׃mib/be/TOout of his house

    And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

16. 16

    וַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand he who isבַּשָּׂדֶהbas/sa/DEin the fieldאַל־יָשֹׁבal-ya/SHOVlet him not returnאָחוֹרa/CHORbackלָשֵׂאתla/SETto takeמַלְבּוּשׁוֹ׃mal/bu/SHOhis garment

    And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

17. 17

    וְאוֹיve/OYbut woeלֶהָרוֹתle/ha/ROTto the pregnantוְלַמֵּינִיקוֹתve/lam/me/ni/KOTand to those nursingבַּיָּמִיםbay/ya/MIMin the daysהָהֵמָּה׃ha/HEM/mathose

    But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

18. 18

    אַךְakhbutהִתְפַּלֲלוּhit/pa/la/LUprayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־תִהְיֶהlo-tih/YEwill not beמְנוּסַתְכֶםme/nu/sat/KHEMyour flightבַּחֹרֶף׃ba/CHO/refin the winter

    And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.

19. 19

    כִּיkiforהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMthe daysהָהֵםha/HEMthoseיִהְיוּyih/YUwill beעֵתeta time ofצָרָהtsa/RAdistressאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־נִהְיְתָהlo-nih/ye/TAhas not beenכָמוֹהָkha/MO/halike itמֵרֵאשִׁיתme/re/SHITfrom the beginning ofהַבְּרִיאָהhab/be/ri/Athe creationאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatבָּרָאba/RAcreatedאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodעַד־עַתָּהad-at/TAuntil nowוְכָמוֹהָve/kha/MO/haand like itלֹא־תִהְיֶהlo-tih/YEwill not beעוֹד׃odagain

    For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

20. 20

    וְלוּלֵיve/lu/LEand unlessקִצֵּרkits/TSERhad shortenedהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordאֶת־הַיָּמִיםet-hay/ya/MIMthe daysהָהֵםha/HEMthoseלֹא־יִוָּשַׁעlo-yiv/va/SHAwould not be savedכׇּל־בָּשָׂרkol-ba/SARany fleshאַךְakhbutלְמַעַןle/MA/anfor the sake ofהַבְּחִירִיםhab/be/chi/RIMthe electאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomבָּחַרba/CHARHe choseבָּםbamthemקִצֵּרkits/TSERHe has shortenedאֶת־הַיָּמִים׃et-hay/ya/MIMthe days

    And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

21. 21

    וְאָזve/AZand thenאִם־יֹאמַרim-yo/MARif saysאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youאִישׁisha manהִנֵּה־פֹהhin/NE-fobehold here isהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאוֹoorהִנֵּהוּhin/ne/HUbehold he isשָׁםshamthereאַל־תַּאֲמִינוּ׃al-ta/a/MI/nudo not believe

    And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

22. 22

    כִּיkiforיָקוּמוּya/KU/muwill riseמְשִׁיחֵיme/shi/CHEmessiahs ofשֶׁקֶרSHE/kerfalsehoodוּנְבִיאֵיu/ne/vi/Eand prophets ofשָׁקֶרSHA/kerfalsehoodוְנָתְנוּve/na/te/NUand will giveאֹתוֹתo/TOTsignsוּמוֹפְתִיםu/mof/TIMand wondersלְהַתְעוֹתle/hat/OTto lead astrayאַףafevenאֶת־הַבְּחִירִיםet-hab/be/chi/RIMthe electאִם־יוּכָלוּ׃im-yu/KHA/luif they can

    For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

23. 23

    וְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youרְאוּre/Useeהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdמֵרֹאשׁme/ROSHbeforehandהִגַּדְתִּיhig/GAD/tiI have toldלָכֶםla/KHEMyouאֶת־כֹּל׃et-kolall

    But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

24. 24

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it will beבַּיָּמִיםbay/ya/MIMin the daysהָהֵםha/HEMthoseאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterהַצָּרָהhats/tsa/RAthe distressהַהִיאha/HIthatתֶּחְשַׁךְtech/SHAKHwill be darkenedהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunוְהַיָּרֵחַve/hay/ya/RE/achand the moonלֹא־יַגִּיהַּlo-yag/GI/ahwill not shineאוֹרוֹ׃o/ROits light

    But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

25. 25

    וְהַכּוֹכָבִיםve/hak/ko/kha/VIMand the starsיִפְּלוּyip/pe/LUwill fallמִן־הַשָּׁמַיִםmin-hash/sha/MA/yimfrom heavenוַחֲיָלֵיva/cha/ya/LEand the hosts ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenיִתְמוֹטָטוּ׃yit/mo/ta/TUwill be shaken

    And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

26. 26

    וְאָזve/AZand thenיִרְאוּyir/Uthey will seeאֶת־בֶּן־הָאָדָםet-Ben-ha/a/DAMthe Son of manבָּאbacomingבַעֲנָנִיםva/a/na/NIMin cloudsבִּגְבוּרָהbig/vu/RAwith powerרַבָּהrab/BAgreatוּבְכָבוֹד׃u/ve/kha/VODand glory

    And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

27. 27

    וְאָזve/AZand thenיִשְׁלַחyish/LACHhe will sendאֶת־מַלְאָכָיוet-mal/a/KHAYVhis angelsוִיקַבֵּץvi/kab/BETSand will gatherאֶת־בְּחִירָיוet-be/chi/RAYVhis electמֵאַרְבַּעme/ar/BAfrom the fourהָרוּחוֹתha/ru/CHOTwindsמִקְצֵהmik/TSEfrom the end ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthעַד־קְצֵהad-ke/TSEto the end ofהַשָּׁמָיִם׃hash/sha/MA/yimheaven

    And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

28. 28

    וּמִן־הַתְּאֵנָהu/MIN-hat/te/e/NAand from the fig treeלִמְדוּ־נָאlim/DU-nalearn nowמָשָׁלma/SHALa parableכְּשֶׁיִּרְטַבke/shey/yir/TAVwhen becomes tenderעֲנָפָהּa/na/FAits branchוּפָרְחוּu/fa/re/CHUand sproutעָלֶיהָa/LE/haits leavesיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowכִּיkithatקָרוֹבka/ROVis nearהַקָּיִץ׃hak/KA/yitssummer

    Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

29. 29

    כֵּןkensoגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMyou alsoבִּרְאֹתְכֶםbir/ot/KHEMwhen you shall seeכִּי־הָיוּki-ha/YUthat have comeאֵלֶּהEL/letheseדְּעוּde/Uknowכִּי־קָרוֹבki-ka/ROVthat nearהוּאhuit isבַּפָּתַח׃bap/PA/tachat the door

    So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

30. 30

    אָמֵןa/MENamenאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלֹאlonotיַעֲבֹרya/a/VORwill passהַדּוֹרhad/DORgenerationהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁר־יִהְיוּa/SHER-yih/YUareכׇּל־אֵלֶּה׃kol-EL/leall these things

    Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

31. 31

    הַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenוְהָאָרֶץve/ha/A/retsand earthיַעֲבֹרוּya/a/VO/ruwill pass awayוּדְבָרַיu/de/va/RAYbut my wordsלֹאlonotיַעֲבֹרוּן׃ya/a/vo/RUNwill pass away

    Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

32. 32

    אַךְakhbutהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַהוּאha/HUthatוְהַשָּׁעָהve/hash/sha/Aand the hourהַהִיאha/HIthatאֵיןennotאִישׁisha manיוֹדֵעַyo/DE/aknowsגַּם־לֹאgam-lonot evenמַלְאֲכֵיmal/a/KHEthe angels ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenגַּם־לֹאgam-loand notהַבֵּןhab/BENthe Sonמִבַּלְעֲדֵיmib/bal/a/DEexceptהָאָב׃ha/AVthe Father

    But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

33. 33

    רְאוּre/Useeשִׁקְדוּshik/DUkeep watchוְהִתְפַּלֵּלוּve/hit/pal/le/LUand prayכִּיkiforלֹאlonotיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowמָתַיma/TAYwhenהָעֵת׃ha/ETthe time is

    Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

34. 34

    כִּיkiforבֶן־הָאָדָםven-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of manדּוֹמֶהdo/MEis likeלְאִישׁle/ISHto a manהוֹלֵךְho/LEKHgoingלַמֶּרְחָקlam/mer/CHAKfar awayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoעָזַבa/ZAVleftאֶת־בֵּיתוֹet-be/TOhis houseוַיִּתֵּןvay/yit/TENand gaveרְשׁוּתre/SHUTauthorityלַעֲבָדָיוla/a/va/DAYVto his servantsוּלְאִישׁu/le/ISHand to each manאֶת־מְלַאכְתּוֹet-me/lakh/TOhis workוְאֶת־הַשּׁוֹעֵרve/ET-hash/sho/ERand the porterצִוָּהtsiv/VAhe commandedלִשְׁקֹד׃lish/KODto watch

    For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

35. 35

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeשִׁקְדוּshik/DUkeep watchכִּיkiforלֹאlonotיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowמָתַיma/TAYwhenיָבוֹאya/VOwill comeבַּעַלBA/althe master ofהַבָּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseאִם־בָּעֶרֶבim-ba/E/revwhether in the eveningאוֹ־בַחֲצוֹתo-va/cha/TSOTor at the middle ofהַלַּיְלָהhal/LAY/lathe nightאִם־בְּעֵתim-be/ETor at the time ofקְרִיאַתke/ri/ATthe calling ofהַתַּרְנְגוֹלhat/tar/ne/GOLthe roosterאוֹoorבַבֹּקֶר׃vab/BO/kerin the morning

    Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

36. 36

    פֶּן־יָבוֹאpen-ya/VOlest he comeפִתְאֹםfit/OMsuddenlyוּמָצָאu/ma/TSAand findאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouיְשֵׁנִים׃ye/she/NIMsleeping

    Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

37. 37

    וְאֵתve/ETandאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhatאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI sayלָכֶםla/KHEMto youהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iאֹמֵרo/MERsayלַכֹּלlak/KOLto allשְׁקֹדוּ׃she/ko/DUkeep watch

    And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
