   And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themלְכוּle/KHUgoאֶל־הַכְּפָרel-hak/ke/FARinto the villageאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isמִמּוּלְכֶםmim/mul/KHEMopposite youוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it will beכְּבֹאֲכֶםke/vo/a/KHEMas you enterשָׁמָּהSHAM/mathereוּמְצָאתֶםu/me/tsa/TEMand you will findעַיִרA/yira coltאָסוּרa/SURtiedאֲשֶׁרa/SHERon whichלֹא־יָשַׁבlo-ya/SHAVhas not satעָלָיוa/LAYVon itאָדָםa/DAMa manאוֹתוֹo/TOitהַתִּירוּhat/ti/RUuntieוְהָבִיאוּ׃ve/ha/VI/uand bring

   And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.

   וְכִי־יֹאמַרve/KHI-yo/MARand if saysאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youאִישׁisha manלָמָּהLAM/mawhyתַעֲשׂוּta/a/SUdo you doזֹאתzotthisוַאֲמַרְתֶּםva/a/mar/TEMand you shall sayהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordצָרִיךְtsa/RIKHhas needלוֹloof itוְהוּאve/HUand heמַהֵרma/HERquicklyיְשַׁלְּחֶנּוּye/shal/le/CHEN/nuwill send itהֵנָּה׃HEN/nahere

   And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.

   וַיֵּלְכוּvay/yel/KHUand they wentוַיִּמְצְאוּvay/yim/tse/Uand foundהָעַיִרha/A/yirthe coltאָסוּרa/SURtiedאֶל־הַפֶּתַחel-hap/PE/tachby the doorבַּחוּץba/CHUTSoutsideעַל־אֵםal-emat the parting ofהַדָּרֶךְhad/DA/rekhthe roadוַיַּתִּירוּהוּ׃vay/yat/ti/ru/HUand they untied it

   And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.

   וַאֲנָשִׁיםva/a/na/SHIMand menמִן־הָעֹמְדִיםmin-ha/om/DIMof those standingשָׁםshamthereאָמְרוּa/me/RUsaidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themמַה־זֹּאתma-zotwhat is thisעֲשִׂיתֶםa/si/TEMyou are doingלְהַתִּירle/hat/TIRuntyingאֶת־הָעָיִר׃et-ha/a/YIRthe colt

   And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?

   וַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHEReven asצִוָּהtsiv/VAhad commandedיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיַּנִּיחוּvay/yan/NI/chuand they letלָהֶם׃la/HEMthem

   And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.

   וַיָּבִיאוּvay/ya/VI/uand they broughtאֶת־הָעַיִרet-ha/A/yirthe coltאֶל־יֵשׁוּעַel-Ye/SHU/ato Jesusוַיָּשִׂימוּvay/ya/SI/muand putעָלָיוa/LAYVon itאֶת־בִּגְדֵיהֶםet-big/de/HEMtheir garmentsוַיֵּשֶׁבvay/YE/shevand he satעָלָיו׃a/LAYVon it

   And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.

   וְרַבִּיםve/rab/BIMand manyפָּרְשׂוּPAR/suspreadאֶת־בִּגְדֵיהֶםet-big/de/HEMtheir garmentsעַל־הַדָּרֶךְal-had/DA/rekhon the roadוַאֲחֵרִיםva/a/che/RIMand othersכָּרְתוּka/re/TUcut downעֲנָפִיםa/na/FIMbranchesמִן־הָעֵצִיםmin-ha/e/TSIMfrom the treesוַיִּשְׁטְחוּvay/yish/te/CHUand spread themעַל־הַדָּרֶךְ׃al-had/DA/rekhon the road

   And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.

   וְהַהֹלְכִיםve/ha/hol/KHIMand those who wentלְפָנָיוle/fa/NAYVbefore himוְאַחֲרָיוve/a/cha/RAYVand after himצָעֲקוּtsa/a/KUcried outלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהוֹשַׁע־נָאHo/SHA-naHosannaבָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessed isהַבָּאhab/BAhe who comesבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofיְהוָֹה׃Adonaithe LORD

   And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:

10. 10

    בְּרוּכָהbe/ru/KHAblessed isמַלְכוּתmal/KHUTthe kingdom ofדָּוִדDa/VIDDavidאָבִינוּa/VI/nuour fatherהַבָּאָהhab/BA/athat comesבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofיְהוָֹהAdonaithe LORDהוֹשַׁע־נָאHo/SHA-naHosannaבַּמְּרוֹמִים׃bam/me/ro/MIMin the highest

    Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

11. 11

    וַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand enteredיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusיְרוּשָׁלַיִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yiminto Jerusalemאֶל־בֵּיתel-betinto the house ofהַמִּקְדָּשׁham/mik/DASHthe sanctuaryוַיַּרְאvay/YARand he sawוַיִּתְבּוֹנֵןvay/yit/bo/NENand looked closelyעַל־הַכֹּלal-hak/KOLat allוְהַיּוֹםve/hay/YOMand the dayרָפָהra/FAhad wanedלַעֲרוֹבla/a/ROVtoward eveningוַיֵּצֵאvay/ye/TSEand he went outאֶל־בֵּית־הִינִיel-Bet-hi/NIto Bethanyעִם־שְׁנֵים־הֶעָשָׂר׃im-she/NEM-he/a/SARwith the twelve

    And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

12. 12

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passמִמׇּחֳרָתmim/mo/cho/RATon the next dayבְּצֵאתָםbe/tse/TAMas they went outמִבֵּית־הִינִיmib/BET-hi/NIfrom Bethanyוַיִּרְעָב׃vay/yir/AVand he was hungry

    And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

13. 13

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand he sawתְּאֵנָהte/e/NAa fig treeמֵרָחוֹקme/ra/CHOKafar offוְלָהּve/LAand it hadעָלִיםa/LIMleavesוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand cameלִרְאוֹתlir/OTto seeהֲיִמְצָא־בָהּha/yim/TSA-vaif he would find on itמְאוּמָהme/U/maany thingוַיִּקְרַבvay/yik/RAVand he came nearאֵלֶיהָe/LE/hato itוְלֹא־מָצָאve/LO-ma/TSAand did not findבָהּvaon itכִּיkibutאִם־עָלִיםim-a/LIMonly leavesכִּיkiforלֹאlonotהָיְתָהha/ye/TAwasעֵתetthe time ofתְּאֵנִים׃te/e/NIMfigs

    And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

14. 14

    וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand he answeredיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלֶיהָe/LE/hato itמֵעַתָּהme/at/TAfrom now onאִישׁisha manאַל־יֹאכַלal-yo/KHALlet not eatפְּרִיpe/RIfruitמִמֵּךְmim/MEKHfrom youעַד־עוֹלָםad-o/LAMforeverוַיִּשְׁמְעוּvay/yish/me/Uand heardתַּלְמִידָיו׃tal/mi/DAYVhis disciples

    And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

15. 15

    וַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand they cameיְרוּשָׁלָיִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimto Jerusalemוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand enteredיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאֶל־בֵּיתel-betinto the house ofהַמִּקְדָּשׁham/mik/DASHthe sanctuaryוַיָּחֶלvay/YA/cheland beganלְגָרֵשׁle/ga/RESHto cast outאֶת־הַמּוֹכְרִיםet-ham/mokh/RIMthe sellersוְאֶת־הַקּוֹנִיםve/ET-hak/ko/NIMand the buyersבַּמִּקְדָּשׁbam/mik/DASHin the templeוְאֶת־שֻׁלְחֲנוֹתve/ET-shul/cha/NOTand the tables ofהַשֻּׁלְחָנִיםhash/shul/cha/NIMthe money changersוְאֶת־מוֹשְׁבוֹתve/ET-mosh/VOTand the seats ofמֹכְרֵיmokh/REthe sellers ofהַיּוֹנִיםhay/yo/NIMdovesהָפָךְ׃ha/FAKHhe overturned

    And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

16. 16

    וְלֹאve/LOand notהִנִּיחַhin/NI/achhe letלְאִישׁle/ISHany manלָשֵׂאתla/SETcarryכְּלִיke/LIa vesselדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhthroughהַמִּקְדָּשׁ׃ham/mik/DASHthe temple

    And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

17. 17

    וַיְלַמֵּדvay/lam/MEDand he taughtוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidלָהֶםla/HEMto themהֲלֹאha/LOis it notכָתוּבkha/TUVwrittenכִּיkithatבֵיתִיve/TIMy houseבֵּיתbeta house ofתְּפִלָּהte/fil/LAprayerיִקָּרֵאyik/ka/REwill be calledלְכׇל־הָעַמִּיםle/KHOL-ha/am/MIMfor all the peoplesוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMbut youעֲשִׂיתֶםa/si/TEMhave madeאֹתוֹo/TOitמְעָרַתme/a/RATa cave ofפָּרִיצִים׃pa/ri/TSIMrobbers

    And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

18. 18

    וַיִּשְׁמְעוּvay/yish/me/Uand heardהַסּוֹפְרִיםhas/sof/RIMthe scribesוְרָאשֵׁיve/ra/SHEand the chiefs ofהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsוַיְבַקְשׁוּvay/vak/SHUand soughtלְהַשְׁמִידוֹle/hash/mi/DOto destroy himכִּיkiforיָרְאוּya/re/Uthey fearedמִפָּנָיוmip/pa/NAYVof himיַעַןYA/anbecauseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleמִשְׁתּוֹמְמִיםmish/tom/MIMwere astonishedעַל־תּוֹרָתוֹ׃al-to/ra/TOat his teaching

    And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.

19. 19

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבָּעָרֶבba/A/revin the eveningוַיֵּצֵאvay/ye/TSEand he went outאֶל־מִחוּץel-mi/CHUTSoutsideלָעִיר׃la/IRthe city

    And when even was come, he went out of the city.

20. 20

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passהֵםhemthey wereעֹבְרִיםov/RIMpassing byבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kerin the morningוַיִּרְאוּvay/yir/Uand they sawאֶת־הַתְּאֵנָהet-hat/te/e/NAthe fig treeכִּיkithatיָבְשָׁהya/ve/SHAit had witheredמִשׇּׁרָשֶׁיהָ׃mish/sho/ra/SHE/hafrom its roots

    And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

21. 21

    וַיִּזְכֹּרvay/yiz/KORand rememberedפֶּטְרוֹסPet/ROSPeterוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himרַבִּיrab/BIrabbiהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdהַתְּאֵנָהhat/te/e/NAthe fig treeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאֵרַרְתָּהּe/rar/TAyou cursedיָבֵשָׁה׃ya/VE/shahas withered

    And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

22. 22

    וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themתְּהִי־נָאte/HI-nalet there be nowבָכֶםva/KHEMin youאֱמוּנָהe/mu/NAfaithבֵּאלֹהִים׃be/lo/HIMin God

    And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23. 23

    כִּי־אָמֵןki-a/MENfor amenאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERwhoeverיֹאמַרyo/MARsaysאֶל־הָהָרel-ha/HARto the mountainהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisהִנָּשֵׂאhin/na/SEbe lifted upוְהֵעָתֵקve/he/a/TEKand be movedאֶל־תּוֹךְel-tokhinto the midst ofהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaוְאֵיןve/ENand there is notסָפֵקsa/FEKdoubtבִּלְבָבוֹbil/va/VOin his heartכִּיkibutאִם־יַאֲמִיןim-ya/a/MINonly believesכִּיkithatיֵעָשֶׂהye/a/SEwill be doneדְבָרוֹde/va/ROhis wordכֵּן־יִהְיֶה־לּוֹken-yih/YE-loso it will be to himכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasאָמָר׃a/MARhe said

    For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24. 24

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכֹּלkolallאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתִּשְׁאֲלוּtish/a/LUyou askבִתְפִלַּתְכֶםvit/fil/lat/KHEMin your prayerהַאֲמִינוּha/a/MI/nubelieveכִּיkithatתִקָּחוּtik/ka/CHUyou will receiveוִיהִיvi/HIand it will beלָכֶם׃la/KHEMto you

    Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

25. 25

    וְכִיve/KHIand whenתַעַמְדוּta/am/DUyou standלְהִתְפַּלֵּלle/hit/pal/LELto prayתִּמְחֲלוּtim/cha/LUforgiveלְכׇל־אִישׁle/KHOL-ishevery manאֵת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhatבִּלְבַבְכֶםbil/vav/KHEMin your heartעָלָיוa/LAYVagainst himלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִסְלַחyis/LACHmay forgiveאֲבִיכֶםA/vi/KHEMyour Fatherשֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִםsheb/bash/sha/MA/yimwho is in heavenגַּם־הוּאgam-huHe alsoלְפִשְׁעֵיכֶם׃le/fish/e/KHEMyour transgressions

    And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

26. 26

    וְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youאִם־לֹאim-loif notתִמְחֲלוּtim/cha/LUyou forgiveאַף־אֲבִיכֶםaf-A/vi/KHEMalso your Fatherשֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִםsheb/bash/sha/MA/yimwho is in heavenלֹא־יִסְלַחlo-yis/LACHwill not forgiveלְפִשְׁעֵיכֶם׃le/fish/e/KHEMyour transgressions

    But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

27. 27

    וַיָּשׁוּבוּvay/ya/SHU/vuand they returnedוַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand cameיְרוּשָׁלָיִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimto Jerusalemוַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passהוּאhuhe wasמִתְהַלֵּךְmit/hal/LEKHwalkingבַּמִּקְדָּשׁbam/mik/DASHin the templeוַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand cameאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himרָאשֵׁיra/SHEthe chiefs ofהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsוְהַסּוֹפְרִיםve/has/sof/RIMand the scribesוְהַזְּקֵנִים׃ve/haz/ze/ke/NIMand the elders

    And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,

28. 28

    וַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himבְּאֵי־זוֹbe/E-zoby whatרְשׁוּתre/SHUTauthorityאַתָּהat/TAyouעֹשֶׂהo/SEdoאֵלֶּהEL/letheseוּמִיu/MIand whoנָתַןna/TANgaveלְךָle/KHAyouאֶת־הָרְשׁוּתet-ha/re/SHUTthe authorityהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doאֶת־אֵלֶּה׃et-EL/lethese things

    And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?

29. 29

    וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themגַּם־אֲנִיgam-a/NII alsoאֶשְׁאֲלָהesh/a/LAwill askאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMof youדָּבָרda/VARa wordאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youהֲשִׁיבוּנִיha/shi/vu/NIanswer meוְאֹמַרve/o/MARand I will sayלָכֶםla/KHEMyouבְּאֵי־זוֹbe/E-zoby whatרְשׁוּתre/SHUTauthorityאֲנִיa/NIIעֹשֶׂהo/SEdoאֵלֶּה׃EL/lethese

    And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

30. 30

    טְבִילַתte/vi/LATthe baptism ofיוֹחָנָןYo/cha/NANJohnהֲמִשָּׁמַיִםha/mish/sha/MA/yimfrom heavenהָיָתָהha/YA/tawas itאִם־מִבְּנֵיim-mib/be/NEor from the sons ofאָדָםa/DAMmenהֲשִׁיבוּנִי׃ha/shi/vu/NIanswer me

    The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.

31. 31

    וַיִּוָּעֲצוּvay/yiv/va/a/TSUand they took counselיַחְדָּוyach/DAVtogetherלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאִם־נֹאמַרim-no/MARif we sayמִשָּׁמַיִםmish/sha/MA/yimfrom heavenיֹאמַרyo/MARhe will sayמַדּוּעַmad/DU/awhyאֵפוֹאe/FOthenלֹאlonotהֶאֱמַנְתֶּםhe/e/man/TEMyou believedלוֹ׃lohim

    And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?

32. 32

    וְאִם־נֹאמַרve/IM-no/MARbut if we sayמִבְּנֵי־אָדָםmib/be/NE-a/DAMfrom the sons of menוַיִּירְאוּvay/yi/re/Uand they fearedאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleכִּי־כֻלָּםki-khul/LAMfor all of themחָשְׁבוּcha/she/VUheldאֶת־יוֹחָנָןet-Yo/cha/NANJohnלְנָבִיאle/na/VIas a prophetבֶּאֱמֶת׃be/e/METtruly

    But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.

    וַיַּעֲנוּvay/ya/a/NUand they answeredוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidאֶל־יֵשׁוּעַel-Ye/SHU/ato Jesusלֹאlonotיָדָעְנוּya/DA/nuwe knowוַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themגַּם־אֲנִיgam-a/NII alsoלֹאlonotאֹמַרo/MARsayלָכֶםla/KHEMyouבְּאֵי־זוֹbe/E-zoby whatרְשׁוּתre/SHUTauthorityאֲנִיa/NIIעֹשֶׂהo/SEdoאֵלֶּה׃EL/lethese

    And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
