   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand he saidאֶל־תַּלְמִידָיוel-tal/mi/DAYVto his disciplesלֹא־יִתָּכֵןlo-yit/ta/KHENit cannot beאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־יָבֹאוּlo-ya/VO/uwill not comeהַמִּכְשֹׁלִיםham/mikh/sho/LIMthe stumbling blocksאֲבָלa/VALbutאוֹיoywoeלָאִישׁla/ISHto the manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעַל־יָדוֹal-ya/DOby his handיָבֹאוּ׃ya/VO/uthey come

   Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

   נוֹחַNO/achbetterלוֹlofor himשֶׁיִּתָּלֶהshey/yit/ta/LEthat were hungפֶלַח־רֶכֶבFE/lach-RE/khevan upper millstoneבְּצַוָּארוֹbe/tsav/va/ROon his neckוְיֻשְׁלַךְve/yush/LAKHand he were thrownאֶל־הַיָּםel-hay/YAMinto the seaמֵאֲשֶׁרme/a/SHERthan thatיַכְשִׁילyakh/SHILhe should cause to stumbleאֶת־אֶחָדet-e/CHADoneמֵהַקְּטַנִּיםme/hak/ke/tan/NIMof the little onesהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

   It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

   הִשָּׁמְרוּhish/sha/me/RUtake heedלְנַפְשׁוֹתֵיכֶםle/naf/sho/te/KHEMto yourselvesכִּי־יֶחֱטָאki-ye/che/TAif sinsלְךָle/KHAagainst youאָחִיךָa/CHI/khayour brotherהוֹכַחho/KHACHrebukeלוֹlohimוְאִם־יִנָּחֵםve/IM-yin/na/CHEMand if he repentsמְחֹלme/CHOLforgiveלוֹ׃lohim

   Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

   וְכִי־יֶחֱטָאve/KHI-ye/che/TAand if he sinsלְךָle/KHAagainst youשֶׁבַעSHE/vasevenפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin a dayוְשָׁבve/SHAVand returnsאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato youשֶׁבַעSHE/vasevenפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin a dayוְאָמַרve/a/MARand saysנִחָמְתִּיni/CHAM/tiI repentוּמָחַלְתָּu/ma/chal/TAyou shall forgiveלּוֹ׃lohim

   And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

   וַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidהַשְּׁלִיחִיםhash/she/li/CHIMthe apostlesאֶל־הָאָדוֹןel-ha/a/DONto the Lordהוֹסֵףho/SEFincreaseלָנוּLA/nuto usאֱמוּנָה׃e/mu/NAfaith

   And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordלוּ־הָיְתָהlu-ha/ye/TAif there wereלָכֶםla/KHEMto youאֱמוּנָהe/mu/NAfaithכְּגַרְגַּרke/gar/GARas a grainהַחַרְדָּלha/char/DALof mustard seedאָזazthenתֹּאמְרוּto/me/RUyou would sayאֶל־הַשִּׁקְמָהel-hash/shik/MAto the sycamine treeהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisהֵעָקְרִיhe/a/ke/RIbe uprootedוְהִשָּׁתְלִיve/hish/sha/te/LIand be plantedבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHinהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaוְתִשְׁמַעve/tish/MAand it would obeyלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

   And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

   מִיmiwhoבָכֶםva/KHEMof youאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלוֹlohasעֶבֶדE/veda servantחֹרֵשׁcho/RESHplowingאוֹoorרֹעֶהro/Etending sheepאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיָבֹאya/VOcomesמִן־הַשָּׂדֶהmin-has/sa/DEfrom the fieldוְאָמַרve/a/MARand saysאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himמַהֵרma/HERquicklyגְּשָׁה־הֵנָּהge/SHA-HEN/nacome hereוְהָסֵב׃ve/ha/SEVand recline

   But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?

   הֲלֹאha/LOwill notיֹאמַרyo/MARhe sayאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himהָכֵןha/KHENmake readyלִיlifor meאֲרוּחַתa/ru/CHATthe meal ofהָעֶרֶבha/E/revthe eveningוַחֲגֹרva/cha/GORand girdמׇתְנֶיךָmot/NE/khayour loinsוְשָׁרֲתֵנִיve/sha/ra/te/NIand serve meעַדaduntilאִם־כִּלִּיתִיim-kil/li/TII have finishedלֶאֱכֹלle/e/KHOLto eatוְלִשְׁתּוֹתve/lish/TOTand to drinkוְאָכַלְתָּve/a/khal/TAand you shall eatוְשָׁתִיתָve/sha/ti/TAand you shall drinkגַּם־אָתָּה׃gam-AT/tayou also

   And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

   הֲגַםha/GAMdoes alsoיוֹדֶהyo/DEthankלָעֶבֶדla/E/vedthe servantעַל־אֲשֶׁרal-a/SHERbecauseעָשָׂהa/SAhe didמִצְוָתוֹmits/va/TOhis commandאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI thinkלֹא׃lonot

   Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

10. 10

    כֵּןkensoגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMyou alsoאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterעֲשׂוֹתְכֶםa/sot/KHEMyour doingאֶת־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁרet-kol-a/SHERall thatצֻוֵּיתֶםtsuv/ve/TEMyou were commandedאִמְרוּim/RUsayאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweעֲבָדִיםa/va/DIMservantsאֵין־מוֹעִילen-mo/ILwithout profitבָּםbamin themכִּיkiforרַקrakonlyאֶת־הַמֻּטָּלet-ham/mut/TALwhat was laidעָלֵינוּa/LE/nuon usעָשִׂינוּ׃a/SI/nuwe have done

    So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבְּלֶכְתּוֹbe/lekh/TOas he wentיְרוּשָׁלָיִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemוְהוּאve/HUand heעֹבֵרo/VERpassedבֵּיןbenbetweenשֹׁמְרוֹןShom/RONSamariaוְהַגָּלִיל׃ve/hag/Ga/LILand Galilee

    And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

12. 12

    וַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand he cameאֶל־כְּפָרel-ke/FARinto a villageאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdלִקְרָאתוֹlik/ra/TOto meet himעֲשָׂרָהa/sa/RAtenאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenמְצֹרָעִיםme/tso/ra/IMlepersוַיַּעַמְדוּvay/ya/am/DUand they stoodמֵרָחוֹק׃me/ra/CHOKafar off

    And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

13. 13

    וַיִּשְׂאוּvay/yis/Uand they lifted upאֶת־קוֹלָםet-ko/LAMtheir voicesוַיִּקְרָאוּvay/yik/RA/uand they called outיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusמוֹרֶהmo/REmasterחׇנֵּנוּ׃chon/NE/nuhave mercy on us

    And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

14. 14

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand he sawאוֹתָםo/TAMthemוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand he saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themלְכוּle/KHUgoוְהֵרָאוּve/he/ra/Ushow yourselvesאֶל־הַכֹּהֲנִיםel-hak/ko/ha/NIMto the priestsוַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבְלֶכְתָּםve/lekh/TAMas they wentוַיִּטְהָרוּ׃vay/yit/ha/RUand they were cleansed

    And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

15. 15

    וְאֶחָדve/e/CHADand oneמֵהֶםme/HEMof themבִּרְאֹתוֹbir/o/TOwhen he sawכִּיkithatנִרְפָּאnir/PAhe was healedוַיָּשׇׁבvay/YA/shovand he returnedוַיְשַׁבַּחvay/shab/BACHand he praisedאֶת־הָאֱלֹהִיםet-ha/e/lo/HIMGodקוֹלkolwith a voiceגָּדוֹל׃ga/DOLgreat

    And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

16. 16

    וַיִּפֹּלvay/yip/POLand he fellעַל־פָּנָיוal-pa/NAYVon his faceלְרַגְלָיוle/rag/LAYVat his feetוַיּוֹדֶהvay/yo/DEand he gave thanksלוֹloto himוְהוּאve/HUand heשֹׁמְרוֹנִי׃Shom/ro/NIa Samaritan

    And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

17. 17

    וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidהֲלֹאha/LOwere notהָעֲשָׂרָהha/a/sa/RAthe tenטֹהָרוּto/ha/RUcleansedוְאַיֵּהve/ay/YEand whereהַתִּשְׁעָה׃hat/tish/Athe nine

    And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

18. 18

    הֲכִיha/KHIis it thatלֹא־נִמְצָאlo-nim/TSAnot was foundמִיmianyoneשֶׁיָּשׁוּבshey/ya/SHUVwho returnedלָתֵתla/TETto giveכָּבוֹדka/VODgloryלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godזוּלָתִיzu/la/TIexceptהַנׇּכְרִיhan/nokh/RIthe foreignerהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

19. 19

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand he saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himקוּםkumariseוָלֵךְva/LEKHand goאֱמוּנָתְךָe/mu/na/te/KHAyour faithהוֹשִׁיעָהho/SHI/ahas savedלָּךְ׃lakhyou

    And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

20. 20

    וַיִּשְׁאָלֻהוּvay/yish/a/lu/HUand asked himהַפְּרוּשִׁיםhap/Pe/ru/SHIMthe Phariseesלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingמָתַיma/TAYwhenתָּבוֹאta/VOwould comeמַלְכוּתmal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand he answeredוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themמַלְכוּתmal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodלֹאlonotתָבוֹאta/VOcomesבְּמַרְאֵהbe/mar/Ewith the sight ofעֵינָיִם׃e/NA/yimeyes

    And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21. 21

    וְלֹאve/LOand notיֹאמְרוּyo/me/RUwill they sayהִנֵּה־פֹהhin/NE-fobehold hereאוֹoorהִנֵּה־שָׁםhin/NE-shambehold thereכִּיkiforמַלְכוּתmal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdבְּקִרְבְּכֶם׃be/kir/be/KHEMwithin you

    Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

22. 22

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand he saidאֶל־הַתַּלְמִידִיםel-hat/tal/mi/DIMto the disciplesיָמִיםya/MIMdaysבָּאִיםba/IMare comingוְהִתְאַוִּיתֶםve/hit/av/vi/TEMand you will desireלִרְאוֹתlir/OTto seeיוֹםyomdayאֶחָדe/CHADoneכִּימֵיki/MEof the days ofבֶן־הָאָדָםven-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of manוְלֹאve/LOand notתִרְאוּ׃tir/Uwill you see

    And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

23. 23

    וְאִם־יֹאמְרוּve/IM-yo/me/RUand if they sayאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youהִנֵּה־פֹהhin/NE-fobehold hereאוֹoorהִנֵּה־שָׁםhin/NE-shambehold thereאַל־תֵּלֵכוּal-te/LE/khudo not goוְאַל־תָּרוּצוּve/AL-ta/ru/TSUand do not runאַחֲרֵיהֶם׃a/cha/re/HEMafter them

    And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

24. 24

    כִּיkiforכַבָּרָקkhab/ba/RAKlike the lightningאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִבְרַקyiv/RAKflashesמִקְצֵהmik/TSEfrom the end ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenוְיָאִירve/ya/IRand shinesעַד־קְצֵהad-ke/TSEto the end ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenכֵּן־יִהְיֶהken-yih/YEso will beבֶן־הָאָדָםven-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of manבְּיוֹמוֹ׃be/yo/MOin his day

    For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

25. 25

    אַךְakhbutבָּרִאשׁוֹנָהba/ri/sho/NAfirstעָלָיוa/LAYVon him it isלִסְבֹּלlis/BOLto sufferהַרְבֵּהhar/BEmany thingsוְלִהְיוֹתve/lih/YOTand beנִמְאָסnim/ASrejectedבַּדּוֹרbad/DORby the generationהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

26. 26

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand asהָיָהha/YAit wasבִּימֵיbi/MEin the days ofנֹחַNO/achNoeכֵּןkensoיִהְיֶהyih/YEwill it beבִּימֵיbi/MEin the days ofבֶן־הָאָדָם׃ven-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of man

    And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27. 27

    הֵמָּהHEM/matheyאָכְלוּa/khe/LUateוְשָׁתוּve/sha/TUand drankנָשְׂאוּna/se/Uthey tookנָשִׁיםna/SHIMwivesוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand they becameלַאֲנָשִׁיםla/a/na/SHIMto husbandsעַד־הַיּוֹםad-hay/YOMuntil the dayאֲשֶׁר־בָּאa/SHER-bathat enteredנֹחַNO/achNoeאֶל־הַתֵּבָהel-hat/te/VAinto the arkוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand cameהַמַּבּוּלham/mab/BULthe floodוַיַּשְׁחֵתvay/yash/CHETand destroyedאֶת־כֻּלָּם׃et-kul/LAMthem all

    They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28. 28

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand asהָיָהha/YAit wasבִּימֵיbi/MEin the days ofלוֹטLotLotאָכֹלa/KHOLeatingוְשָׁתֹהve/sha/TOand drinkingקָנֹהka/NObuyingוּמָכֹרu/ma/KHORand sellingנָטֹעna/TOplantingוּבָנֹה׃u/va/NOand building

    Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29. 29

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבַיּוֹםvay/YOMon the dayאֲשֶׁר־יָצָאa/SHER-ya/TSAthat went outלוֹטLotLotמִסְּדוֹםmis/Se/DOMfrom Sodomוַיַּמְטֵרvay/yam/TERand it rainedאֵשׁeshfireוְגׇפְרִיתve/gof/RITand brimstoneמִן־הַשָּׁמַיִםmin-hash/sha/MA/yimfrom heavenוַיַּשְׁחֵתvay/yash/CHETand destroyedאֶת־כֻּלָּם׃et-kul/LAMthem all

    But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30. 30

    כֵּןkensoיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall it beבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin the dayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִגָּלֶהyig/ga/LEis revealedבֶּן־הָאָדָם׃ben-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of man

    Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

31. 31

    אִישׁisha manכִּיkiwhoיִהְיֶהyih/YEwill beבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon dayהַהוּאha/HUthatעַל־הַגָּגal-hag/GAGon the roofוְכֵלָיוve/khe/LAYVand his goodsבַּבָּיִתbab/BA/yitin the houseאַל־יֵרֵדal-ye/REDlet him not come downלָשֵׂאתla/SETto carryאֹתָםo/TAMthemוְאִישׁve/ISHand a manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoבַּשָּׂדֶהbas/sa/DEin the fieldאַל־יָשֹׁבal-ya/SHOVlet him not turnלְאָחוֹר׃le/a/CHORback

    In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

32. 32

    זִכְרוּzikh/RUrememberאֶת־אֵשֶׁתet-E/shetthe wife ofלוֹט׃LotLot

    Remember Lot's wife.

33. 33

    הֶחָפֵץhe/cha/FETSwhoever desiresלְמַלֵּטle/mal/LETto saveאֶת־נַפְשׁוֹet-naf/SHOhis lifeיְאַבְּדֶנָּהye/ab/be/den/NAwill lose itוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand whoeverיְאַבֵּדye/ab/BEDlosesאֹתָהּo/TAitיְחַיֶּהָ׃ye/chay/ye/HAwill keep it alive

    Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

34. 34

    אֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMto youבַּלַּיְלָהbal/LAY/lain the nightהַהוּאha/HUthatיִהְיוּyih/YUthere will beשְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimtwoבְּמִטָּהbe/mit/TAin a bedאֶחָתe/CHAToneוְיֵאָסֵףve/ye/a/SEFand will be takenאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְאֶחָדve/e/CHADand the otherיֵעָזֵב׃ye/a/ZEVwill be left

    I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

35. 35

    שְׁתַּיִםSHTA/yimtwoתִּהְיֶינָהtih/YE/nawill beטֹחֲנוֹתto/cha/NOTgrindingיָחַדYA/chadtogetherאַחַתa/CHAToneתֵּאָסֵףte/a/SEFwill be takenוְאַחַתve/a/CHATand the otherתֵּעָזֵב׃te/a/ZEVwill be left

    Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

36. 36

    שְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimtwoיִהְיוּyih/YUwill beבַשָּׂדֶהvas/sa/DEin the fieldוְנֶאֱסַףve/ne/e/SAFand will be takenאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְאֶחָדve/e/CHADand the otherיֵעָזֵב׃ye/a/ZEVwill be left

    Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

37. 37

    וַיַּעֲנוּvay/ya/a/NUand they answeredוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himאֵיפֹהe/FOwhereתִהְיֶהtih/YEwill beזֹאתzotthisאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour Lordוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand he saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERwhereהַפֶּגֶרhap/PE/gerthe carcassשָׁםshamthereיִקָּבְצוּyik/KAV/tsuwill gatherהַנְּשָׁרִים׃han/ne/sha/RIMthe eagles

    And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
