   These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

   כַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasנָתַתָּna/TAT/taYou gaveלוֹloto himהַשָּׁלְטָןhash/sha/le/TANpowerעַל־כׇּל־בָּשָׂרal-kol-ba/SARover all fleshלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִתֵּןyit/TENhe may giveחַיֵּיchay/YElifeעוֹלָםo/LAMeternalלְכֹלle/KHOLto allאֲשֶׁר־נָתַתָּa/SHER-na/TAT/tathat You have givenלּוֹ׃loto him

   As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

   וְזֶהve/ZEand thisחַיֵּיchay/YElifeעוֹלָםo/LAMeternalלָדַעַתla/DA/atto knowאֹתְךָot/KHAYouהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodהָאֱמֶתha/e/METtrueלְבַדְּךָle/vad/de/KHAonlyוְאֶת־יֵשׁוּעַve/ET-ye/SHU/aand Jesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomשָׁלָחְתָּ׃sha/LACH/taYou sent

   And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

   I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

   וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowפַאֲרֵנִיfa/a/re/NIglorify meאַתָּהat/TAYouאָבִיA/VIO Fatherעִמְּךָim/me/KHAwith Youבַּכָּבוֹדbak/ka/VODwith the gloryאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהָיָה־לִיha/YA-liI hadעִמְּךָim/me/KHAwith YouטֶרֶםTE/rembeforeהֱיוֹתhe/YOTthe being ofהָעוֹלָם׃ha/o/LAMthe world

   And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

   אֶת־שִׁמְךָet-shim/KHAYour nameהוֹדַעְתִּיho/DA/tiI have manifestedלָאֲנָשִׁיםla/a/na/SHIMto the menאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomנָתַתָּna/TAT/taYou gaveלִּיlito meמִתּוֹךְmit/TOKHfrom the midst ofהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldלְךָle/KHAYoursהָיוּha/YUthey wereוְלִיve/LIand to meנָתַתָּna/TAT/taYou gaveאֹתָםo/TAMthemוְאֶת־דְּבָרְךָve/ET-de/va/re/KHAand Your wordנָצָרוּ׃na/tsa/RUthey have kept

   I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

   וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowיָדְעוּya/de/Uthey have knownכִּי־כֹלki-kholthat allאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָתַתָּna/TAT/taYou have givenלִּיlito meמֵעִמְּךָme/im/me/KHAfrom Youהוּא׃huis

   Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

   כִּיkiforהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe wordsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָתַתָּna/TAT/taYou gaveלִּיlito meנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI have givenלָהֶםla/HEMto themוְהֵםve/HEMand theyקִבְּלוּםkib/be/LUMhave received themוַיַּכִּירוּvay/yak/ki/RUand have knownבֶאֱמֶתve/e/METsurelyכִּיkithatמֵעִמְּךָme/im/me/KHAfrom Youיָצָאתִיya/TSA/tiI came outוַיַּאֲמִינוּvay/ya/a/MI/nuand they believedכִּיkithatאַתָּהat/TAYouשְׁלַחְתָּנִי׃she/lach/TA/nisent me

   For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

   אֲנִיa/NIIבַּעֲדָםba/a/DAMfor themאַעְתִּירa/TIRprayלָךְlakhYouלֹאlonotבְּעַדbe/ADforהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldאַעְתִּירa/TIRdo I prayכִּיkibutאִםimonlyבְּעַדbe/ADforאֵלֶּהEL/letheseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomנָתַתָּna/TAT/taYou have givenלִּיlito meכִּי־לְךָki-le/KHAfor Yoursהֵמָּה׃HEM/maare they

   I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

    וְכׇל־אֲשֶׁרve/KHOL-a/SHERand all that isלִיlimineלְךָle/KHAis Yoursהוּאhuitוַאֲשֶׁר־לְךָva/a/SHER-le/KHAand Yoursלִיliis mineוְנִתְפָּאַרְתִּיve/nit/pa/ar/TIand I am glorifiedבָּהֶם׃ba/HEMin them

    And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאֵינֶנִּיe/NEN/niam notעוֹדodanymoreבָּעוֹלָםba/o/LAMin the worldוְהֵםve/HEMand theyבָּעוֹלָםba/o/LAMin the worldהֵמָּהHEM/maareוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iבָּאbaam comingאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato YouאָבִיA/VImy FatherהַקָּדוֹשׁHak/ka/DOSHHolyנְצֹרne/TSORkeepאֹתָםo/TAMthemבְּשִׁמְךָbe/shim/KHAin Your nameאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthose whomנָתַתָּna/TAT/taYou have givenלִּיlito meלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִהְיוּyih/YUthey may beאֶחָדe/CHADoneכָּמֹנוּ׃ka/MO/nulike us

    And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

    בִּהְיוֹתִיbih/yo/TIwhile I wasעִמָּהֶםim/ma/HEMwith themבָּעוֹלָםba/o/LAMin the worldאֲנִיa/NIIנָצַרְתִּיna/tsar/TIkeptאֹתָםo/TAMthemבִּשְׁמֶךָbish/ME/khain Your nameאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthose whomנְתַתָּםne/tat/TAMYou gave themלִיlito meשָׁמַרְתִּיsha/MAR/tiI have keptוְלֹא־אָבַדve/LO-a/VADand was not lostמֵהֶםme/HEMof themאִישׁisha manזוּלָתִיzu/la/TIexceptבֶּן־אֲבַדּוֹןben-a/vad/DONthe son of perditionלְמַלֹּאתle/mal/LOTthat might be fulfilledדְּבַרde/VARthe word ofהַכָּתוּב׃hak/ka/TUVthe scripture

    While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iבָאvaam comingאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato Youוְאֶת־אֵלֶּהve/ET-EL/leand theseאֲנִיa/NIIמְדַבֵּרme/dab/BERspeakבָּעוֹלָםba/o/LAMin the worldלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatתִּמָּלֵאtim/ma/LEmay be fulfilledלָהֶםla/HEMin themשִׂמְחָתִיsim/cha/TImy joyבְּקִרְבָּם׃be/kir/BAMwithin them

    And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

14. 14

    אֲנִיa/NIIנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tihave givenלָהֶםla/HEMthemאֶת־דְּבָרְךָet-de/va/re/KHAYour wordוְהָעוֹלָםve/ha/o/LAMand the worldשָׂנֵאsa/NEhatedאֹתָםo/TAMthemיַעַןYA/anbecauseכִּיkithatלֹאlonotמִן־הָעוֹלָםmin-ha/o/LAMfrom the worldהֵםhemare theyכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasגַּם־אָנֹכִיgam-a/no/KHII alsoלֹאlonotמִן־הָעוֹלָםmin-ha/o/LAMfrom the worldאָנִי׃A/niam I

    I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

    וְלֹאve/LOand notאַעְתִּירa/TIRdo I prayלְךָle/KHAYouאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתִּקָּחֵםtik/ka/CHEMYou take themמִן־הָעוֹלָםmin-ha/o/LAMfrom the worldכִּיkibutאִם־תִּצְּרֵםim-tits/tse/REMthat You keep themמִן־הָרָע׃min-ha/RAfrom the evil

    I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

16. 16

    לֹאlonotמִן־הָעוֹלָםmin-ha/o/LAMfrom the worldהֵםhemare theyכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasגַּם־אָנֹכִיgam-a/no/KHII alsoאֵינֶנִּיe/NEN/niam notמִן־הָעוֹלָם׃min-ha/o/LAMfrom the world

    They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17. 17

    קַדֵּשׁkad/DESHsanctifyאֹתָםo/TAMthemבַּאֲמִתֶּךָba/a/mit/TE/khain Your truthדְּבָרְךָde/va/re/KHAYour wordאֱמֶת׃e/METis truth

    Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

18. 18

    כַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasאַתָּהat/TAYouשָׁלַחְתָּsha/LACH/tasentאֹתִיo/TImeאֶל־הָעוֹלָםel-ha/o/LAMinto the worldכֵּןkensoגַּם־אֲנִיgam-a/NII alsoשָׁלַחְתִּיsha/LACH/tihave sentאֹתָםo/TAMthemאֶל־הָעוֹלָם׃el-ha/o/LAMinto the world

    As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

19. 19

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iמַקְדִּישׁmak/DISHsanctifyאֶת־נַפְשִׁיet-naf/SHImyselfבַּעֲדָםba/a/DAMfor their sakesלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִהְיוּyih/YUmay beגַם־הֵםgam-hemthey alsoמְקֻדָּשִׁיםme/kud/da/SHIMsanctifiedבֶּאֱמֶת׃be/e/METin truth

    And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

20. 20

    אוּלָםu/LAMbutלֹאlonotלְבַדle/VADonlyבְּעַד־אֵלֶּהbe/AD-EL/lefor theseאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIמַעְתִּירma/TIRprayלָךְlakhYouכִּיkibutאִםimonlyגַּם־בְּעַדgam-be/ADalso forהַמַּאֲמִינִיםham/ma/a/mi/NIMwhich shall believeבִּיbiin meעַל־פִּיal-pibyדְבָרָם׃de/va/RAMtheir word

    Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

21. 21

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִהְיוּyih/YUmay beכֻלָּםkhul/LAMall of themאֶחָדe/CHADoneכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasאַתָּהat/TAYouאָבִיA/VImy Fatherבִּיbiare in meאַתָּהat/TAYouוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iבָךְvakhin Youוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand may beגַם־הֵמָּהgam-HEM/mathey alsoבָּנוּBA/nuin usאֶחָדe/CHADoneלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיַאֲמִיןya/a/MINmay believeהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldכִּיkithatאַתָּהat/TAYouשְׁלַחְתָּנִי׃she/lach/TA/nisent me

    That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22. 22

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tihave givenלָהֶםla/HEMthemאֶת־הַכָּבוֹדet-hak/ka/VODthe gloryאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָתַתָּna/TAT/taYou gaveלִּיlito meלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִהְיוּyih/YUthey may beאֶחָדe/CHADoneכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHEReven asאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuwe areאֶחָד׃e/CHADone

    And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

    אֲנִיa/NIIבָהֶםva/HEMin themוְאַתָּהve/at/TAand Youבִיviin meלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִהְיוּyih/YUthey may beמֻשְׁלָמִיםmush/la/MIMmade perfectלְאֶחָדle/e/CHADinto oneוּלְמַעַןu/le/MA/anand so thatיֵדַעye/DAmay knowהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldכִּיkithatאַתָּהat/TAYouשְׁלַחְתָּנִיshe/lach/TA/nisent meוְאָהַבְתָּve/a/hav/TAand You lovedאֹתָםo/TAMthemכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasאֲהַבְתָּנִי׃a/hav/TA/niYou loved me

    I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

    אָבִיA/VIFatherגַּםgamalsoאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthose whomנְתַתָּםne/tat/TAMYou have given themלִיlito meרְצוֹנִיre/tso/NII willאֲשֶׁר־יִהְיוּa/SHER-yih/YUthat they beעִמָּדִיim/ma/DIwith meבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERwhereאֲנִיa/NIIשָׁםshamamלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיֶחֱזוּye/che/ZUthey may beholdבִּכְבוֹדִיbikh/vo/DImy gloryאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָתַתָּna/TAT/taYou have givenלִּיlito meכִּיkiforאֲהַבְתָּנִיa/hav/TA/niYou loved meלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְסוֹדye/SODthe foundation ofהָעוֹלָם׃ha/o/LAMthe world

    Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

    אָבִיA/VIO Fatherהַצַּדִּיקhats/tsad/DIKrighteousהֵןhenbeholdהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldלֹאlonotיְדָעֲךָye/da/a/KHAhas known Youוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iיְדַעְתִּיךָye/da/TI/khahave known Youוְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand theseהִכִּירוּhik/KI/ruhave knownכִּיkithatאַתָּהat/TAYouשְׁלַחְתָּנִי׃she/lach/TA/nisent me

    O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iהוֹדַעְתִּיםho/da/TIMhave declared to themאֶת־שִׁמְךָet-shim/KHAYour nameוְאוֹסִיףve/o/SIFand I will continueלְהוֹדִיעָםle/ho/di/AMto declare it to themלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatתִּהְיֶה־בָּםtih/YE-bammay be in themהָאַהֲבָהha/a/ha/VAthe loveאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאֲהַבְתָּנִיa/hav/TA/niYou loved meוְגַםve/GAMand alsoאֲנִיa/NIIאֶהְיֶהeh/YEwill beבָהֶם׃va/HEMin them

    And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
