   Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.

   There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.

   Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,

   מַדּוּעַmad/DU/awhyלֹא־נִמְכְּרָהlo-nim/ke/RAwas not soldהַמִּרְקַחַתham/mir/KA/chatthe ointmentבִּשְׁלֹשׁbish/LOSHfor threeמֵאוֹתme/OThundredדִּינָרdi/NARdenariiוְנִתַּןve/nit/TANand givenלָעֲנִיִּים׃la/a/niy/YIMto the poor

   Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

   וְהוּאve/HUand heלֹא־דִּבֶּרlo-dib/BERdid not sayזֹאתzotthisמֵחֶמְלָתוֹme/chem/la/TOfrom his compassionעַל־הָעֲנִיִּיםal-ha/a/niy/YIMfor the poorכִּיkibut becauseגַנָּבgan/NAVa thiefהָיָהha/YAhe wasוְכִיסve/KHISand the purse ofהַכֶּסֶףhak/KE/sefthe moneyבְּיָדוֹbe/ya/DOin his handוְנָשָׂאve/na/SAand he carried offמֵאֲשֶׁרme/a/SHERfrom whatיָשִׂימוּya/SI/muthey putבוֹ׃vointo it

   This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַנִּיחָה־לָּהּhan/NI/cha-lalet her aloneלְיוֹםle/YOMfor the day ofקְבוּרָתִיke/vu/ra/TImy burialצָפְנָהtsa/fe/NAshe has keptזֹּאת׃zotthis

   Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.

   כִּיkiforהָעֲנִיִּיםha/a/niy/YIMthe poorתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMare with youוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאֵינֶנִּיe/NEN/niam notתָמִידta/MIDalwaysעִמָּכֶם׃im/ma/KHEMwith you

   For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.

   וַיֵּדְעוּvay/yed/Uand knewעַם־רַבam-ravmany peopleמִן־הַיְּהוּדִיםmin-Hay/ye/hu/DIMof the Jewsכִּי־הוּאki-huthat he wasשָׁםshamthereוַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand they cameלֹא־בַעֲבוּרlo-va/a/VURnot because ofיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusלְבַדּוֹle/vad/DOonlyכִּיkibutגַם־לִרְאוֹתgam-lir/OTalso to seeאֶת־לַעְזָרet-La/ZARLazarusאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomהֱעִירוֹhe/i/ROhe had raisedמֵעִםme/IMfromהַמֵּתִים׃ham/me/TIMthe dead

   Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.

    וְרָאשֵׁיve/ra/SHEand the chiefs ofהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsהִתְיָעָצוּhit/ya/a/TSUconsultedלַהֲרֹגla/ha/ROGto killאֶת־לַעְזָר׃et-La/ZARLazarus

    But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;

    כִּיkiforבִגְלָלוֹvig/la/LObecause of himהָלְכוּha/le/KHUwent awayרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyמִן־הַיְּהוּדִיםmin-Hay/ye/hu/DIMof the Jewsוַיַּאֲמִינוּvay/ya/a/MI/nuand believedבְּיֵשׁוּעַ׃be/Ye/SHU/aon Jesus

    Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passמִמׇּחֳרָתmim/mo/cho/RATon the next dayכִּשְׁמוֹעַkish/MO/awhen heardהָמוֹןha/MONa crowdרָבravgreatאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatבָּאוּBA/uhad comeלָחֹגla/CHOGto keepהֶחָגhe/CHAGthe feastכִּי־יָבֹאki-ya/VOthat was comingיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusיְרוּשָׁלָיִם׃Ye/ru/sha/LA/yimto Jerusalem

    On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

    וַיִּקְחוּvay/yik/CHUand they tookבְיָדָםve/ya/DAMin their handsכַּפּוֹתkap/POTfronds ofתְּמָרִיםte/ma/RIMpalmsוַיֵּצְאוּvay/yets/Uand they went outלִקְרָאתוֹlik/ra/TOto meet himוַיָּרִיעוּvay/ya/RI/uand they shoutedלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהוֹשַׁע־נָאHo/SHA-naHosannaבָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessedהַבָּאhab/BAwho comesבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofיְהוָֹהAdonaithe LORDמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

    וַיִּמְצָאvay/yim/TSAand foundיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusעַיִרA/yira coltאֶחָדe/CHADoneוַיִּרְכַּבvay/yir/KAVand rodeעָלָיוa/LAYVon itכַּכָּתוּב׃kak/ka/TUVas it is written

    And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,

    אַל־תִּירְאִיal-ti/re/Ido not fearבַּת־צִיּוֹןbat-Tsiy/YONdaughter of Zionהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdמַלְכֵּךְmal/KEKHyour kingיָבוֹאya/VOis comingלָךְlakhto youרֹכֵבro/KHEVridingעַל־עַיִרal-A/yiron a coltבֶּן־אֲתֹנוֹת׃ben-a/to/NOTthe son of donkeys

    Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.

    וְתַלְמִידָיוve/tal/mi/DAYVand his disciplesלֹא־הֵבִינוּlo-he/VI/nuunderstood notבָּרִאשׁוֹנָהba/ri/sho/NAat firstכׇל־זֹאתkhol-zotall thisאַךְakhbutאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנִתְפָּאַרnit/pa/ARwas glorifiedיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusזָכְרוּza/khe/RUthey rememberedכִּי־כֵןki-khenthat soכָּתוּבka/TUVwere writtenעָלָיוa/LAYVabout himוְכֵןve/KHENand soגַּם־עָשׂוּgam-A/sualso they didלוֹ׃loto him

    These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

    וַיָּעִידוּvay/ya/I/duand testifiedהָרַבִּיםha/rab/BIMthe manyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהָיוּha/YUwereאֶצְלוֹets/LOwith himבְּקׇרְאוֹbe/kor/Owhen he calledאֶל־לַעְזָרel-La/ZARLazarusלָצֵאתla/TSETto come outמִן־הַקָּבֶרmin-hak/KA/verfrom the tombוַיָּעַרvay/YA/arand raisedאֹתוֹo/TOhimמֵעִםme/IMfromהַמֵּתִים׃ham/me/TIMthe dead

    The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.

18. 18

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeהֲמוֹןha/MONthe crowd ofהָעָםha/AMthe peopleיָצָאya/TSAwent outלִקְרָאתוֹlik/ra/TOto meet himכִּיkiforשָׁמְעוּsha/me/Uthey heardאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעָשָׂהa/SAhe had doneאֶת־הָאוֹתet-ha/OTthe signהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.

19. 19

    וְהַפְּרוּשִׁיםve/hap/Pe/ru/SHIMand the Phariseesדִּבְּרוּdib/be/RUspokeאִישׁisheach manאֶת־אָחִיוet-a/CHIVwith his brotherלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהַרְּאִיתֶםhar/re/i/TEMdo you seeכִּיkithatהוֹעֵילho/ELprofitלֹאlonotתוֹעִילוּto/i/LUdo you profitהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdכׇל־הָעוֹלָםkhol-ha/o/LAMall the worldנִמְשַׁךְnim/SHAKHis drawnאַחֲרָיו׃a/cha/RAYVafter him

    The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

20. 20

    וּבְתוֹךְu/ve/TOKHand amongהָעֹלִיםha/o/LIMthose who went upלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹתle/hish/ta/cha/VOTto bow downבֶּחָגbe/CHAGat the feastאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMwere menיְוָנִים׃Ye/va/NIMGreek

    And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:

21. 21

    וַיִּקְרְבוּvay/yik/re/VUand they came nearאֶל־פִּילִפּוֹסel-Pi/lip/POSto Philipאִישׁishthe man ofבֵּית־צָיְדָהBet-tsa/ye/DABethsaidaאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofהַגָּלִילHag/ga/LILGalileeוַיִּשְׁאֲלוּvay/yish/a/LUand askedמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof himלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאֲדֹנִיa/do/NImy lordחָפַצְנוּcha/fats/NUwe desireלִרְאוֹתlir/OTseeאֶת־יֵשׁוּעַ׃et-Ye/SHU/aJesus

    The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.

22. 22

    וַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand cameפִילִפּוֹסFi/lip/POSPhilipוַיַּגֵּדvay/yag/GEDand toldאֶל־אַנְדְּרַיel-An/de/RAYto Andrewוְאַנְדְּרַיve/An/de/RAYand Andrewוּפִילִפּוֹסu/Fi/lip/POSand Philipהִגִּידוּhig/GI/dutoldאֶל־יֵשׁוּעַ׃el-Ye/SHU/aJesus

    Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.

23. 23

    וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredאוֹתָםo/TAMthemיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidבָּאָהba/Ahas comeהַשָּׁעָהhash/sha/Athe hourאֲשֶׁר־יִתְפָּאֵרa/SHER-yit/pa/ERthat should be glorifiedבֶּן־הָאָדָם׃ben-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of man

    And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

24. 24

    אָמֵןa/MENamenאָמֵןa/MENamenאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMto youאִםimifלֹא־תִפֹּלlo-tip/POLdoes not fallהַחִטָּהha/chit/TAthe grain of wheatאֶל־תּוֹךְel-tokhintoהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe groundוּמֵתָהu/ME/taand dieתִּשָּׁאֵרtish/sha/ERit remainsלְבַדָּהּle/vad/DAaloneוְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand whenמֵתָהME/tait diesתַּעֲשֶׂהta/a/SEit producesפְּרִיpe/RIfruitהַרְבֵּה׃har/BEmuch

    Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

25. 25

    הָאֹהֵבha/o/HEVwhoever lovesאֶת־נַפְשׁוֹet-naf/SHOhis lifeיְאַבְּדֶנָּהye/ab/be/den/NAwill lose itוְהַשֹּׂנֵאve/has/so/NEand whoever hatesאֶת־נַפְשׁוֹet-naf/SHOhis lifeבָּעוֹלָםba/o/LAMin worldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisיִנְצְרֶהָyin/tse/re/HAwill keep itלְחַיֵּיle/chay/YEto the life ofנֶצַח׃NE/tsacheternity

    He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

26. 26

    וְאִישׁve/ISHand a manכִּיkiifחָפֵץcha/FETSdesiresלְשָׁרֲתֵנִיle/sha/ra/te/NIto serve meיֵלֵךְye/LEKHlet him walkאַחֲרָיa/cha/RAYafter meוּבַאֲשֶׁרu/va/a/SHERand whereאֶהְיֶהeh/YEI will beשָׁםshamthereיִהְיֶהyih/YEwill beגַּם־מְשָׁרֲתִיgam-me/sha/ra/TIalso my servantוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand whoeverיְשָׁרֲתֵנִיye/sha/ra/te/NIserve meיְכַבְּדֶנּוּye/khab/be/den/NUwill honor himאָבִי׃A/VImy Father

    If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

27. 27

    עַתָּהat/TAnowנִבְהֲלָהniv/ha/LAis troubledנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHImy soulוּמַהu/MAand whatאֹמַרo/MARshall I sayהַצִּילֵנִיhats/tsi/LE/nisave meאָבִיA/VImy Fatherמִן־הַשָּׁעָהmin-hash/sha/Afrom the hourהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisאַךְakhbutעַל־כֵּןal-kenfor thisהִגַּעְתִּיhig/ga/TII have comeלַשָּׁעָהlash/sha/Ato the hourהַזֹּאת׃haz/ZOTthis

    Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

28. 28

    אָבִיA/VImy Fatherפָּאֵרpa/ERglorifyאֶת־שְׁמֶךָet-she/ME/khaYour nameוַיֵּצֵאvay/ye/TSEand came outקוֹלkola voiceמִן־הַשָּׁמַיִםmin-hash/sha/MA/yimfrom heavenאֹמֵרo/MERsayingפֵּאַרְתִּיpe/ar/TII have glorifiedוַאֲפָאֵרva/a/fa/ERand I will glorifyעוֹד׃odagain

    Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

29. 29

    וְהָעָםve/ha/AMand the peopleהָעֹמְדִיםha/om/DIMstandingשָׁמָּהSHAM/mathereשָׁמְעוּsha/me/Uheardוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidרַעַםRA/amthunderנִשְׁמָעnish/MAwas heardוַאֲחֵרִיםva/a/che/RIMand othersאָמְרוּa/me/RUsaidמַלְאָךְmal/AKHan angelדִּבֶּרdib/BERspokeאִתּוֹ׃it/TOwith him

    The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

30. 30

    וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidלֹאlonotהָיָהha/YAcameהַקּוֹלhak/KOLthe voiceהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלְמַעֲנִיle/ma/a/NIbecause of meכִּיkibutאִםimonlyלְמַעַנְכֶם׃le/ma/an/KHEMfor your sakes

    Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

31. 31

    עַתָּהat/TAnowהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisנִדּוֹןnid/DONis judgedעַתָּהat/TAnowיֻשְׁלַךְyush/LAKHwill be thrownשַׂרsarthe prince ofהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisחוּצָה׃CHU/tsaoutside

    Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

32. 32

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iבְּהִנָּשְׂאִיbe/hin/na/se/Iwhen I am lifted upמֵעַל־הָאָרֶץme/AL-ha/A/retsfrom the earthאֶמְשֹׁךְem/SHOKHwill drawכֻּלָּםkul/LAMallאֵלָי׃e/LAYto me

    And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

33. 33

    וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisדִּבֶּרdib/BERhe saidלְהוֹדִיעַle/ho/DI/asignifyingאֵי־זֶהe-zewhatהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetdeathאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיָמוּת׃ya/MUThe should die

    This he said, signifying what death he should die.

34. 34

    וַיַּעֲנוּvay/ya/a/NUand answeredאֹתוֹo/TOhimהָעָםha/AMthe peopleוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweשָׁמַעְנוּsha/MA/nuhave heardמִןminfromהַתּוֹרָהhat/to/RAthe lawכִּיkithatהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahיִכּוֹןyik/KONenduresלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverוְאֵיךְve/EKHand howאָמַרְתָּa/MAR/tadid you sayבֶּן־הָאָדָםben-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of manצָרִיךְtsa/RIKHmustלְהִנָּשֵׂאle/hin/na/SEbe lifted upוּמִיu/MIand whoבֶּן־הָאָדָםben-Ha/a/DAMthe Son of manהַהוּא׃ha/HUis that

    The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאַךְ־לְמִצְעָרakh-le/mits/ARonly a littleיִהְיֶהyih/YEwill beהָאוֹרha/ORthe lightעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMwith youהִתְהַלְּכוּhit/hal/le/KHUwalkבְּעוֹדbe/ODwhileלָכֶםla/KHEMyou haveהָאוֹרha/ORthe lightפֶּן־יְשׁוּפְכֶםpen-ye/shuf/KHEMlest overtake youחֹשֶׁךְCHO/shekhdarknessוְהַהֹלֵךְve/ha/ho/LEKHand whoever walksבַּחֹשֶׁךְba/CHO/shekhin darknessלֹאlonotיֵדַעye/DAdoes he knowאָנָהA/nawhereהוּאhuheהֹלֵךְ׃ho/LEKHis going

    Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

    While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

    רַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyהָאֹתוֹתha/o/TOTthe signsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעָשָׂהa/SAhe didלְעֵינֵיהֶםle/e/ne/HEMbefore themוּבְכׇל־זֹאתu/ve/KHOL-zotand in all thisלֹאlonotהֶאֱמִינוּhe/e/MI/nuthey believedבּוֹ׃boin him

    But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

38. 38

    לְמַלֹּאתle/mal/LOTto fulfillדְּבַרde/VARthe word ofיְשַׁעְיָהוּYe/sha/YA/huEsaiasהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאָמָרa/MARhe saidהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONO Lordמִיmiwhoהֶאֱמִיןhe/e/MINhas believedלִשְׁמֻעָתֵנוּlish/mu/a/TE/nuour reportוּזְרוֹעַu/ze/RO/aand the arm ofיְהוָֹהAdonaithe LORDעַל־מִיal-mito whomנִגְלָתָה׃nig/LA/tahas it been revealed

    That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

39. 39

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeלֹאlonotיָכְלוּya/khe/LUwere they ableלְהַאֲמִיןle/ha/a/MINbelieveכִּיkibecauseעוֹדodagainאָמַרa/MARsaidיְשַׁעְיָהוּ׃Ye/sha/YA/huEsaias

    Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

40. 40

    הֵשַׁעhe/SHAHe has smeared shutעֵינֵיהֶםe/ne/HEMtheir eyesוְהִשְׁמִיןve/hish/MINand has made fatלְבָבָםle/va/VAMtheir heartפֶּן־יִרְאוּpen-yir/Ulest they seeבְּעֵינֵיהֶםbe/e/ne/HEMwith their eyesוּלְבָבָםu/le/va/VAMand their heartיָבִיןya/VINunderstandוְשָׁבוּve/SHA/vuand they turnוְרָפָאתִיve/ra/fa/TIand I healלָהֶם׃la/HEMthem

    He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

41. 41

    כָּזֹאתka/ZOTlike thisדִּבֶּרdib/BERsaidיְשַׁעְיָהוּYe/sha/YA/huEsaiasבִּרְאוֹתוֹbir/o/TOwhen he sawאֶת־תִּפְאַרְתּוֹet-tif/ar/TOhis gloryוַיִּנָּבֵאvay/yin/na/VEand he prophesiedעָלָיו׃a/LAYVabout him

    These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

42. 42

    אוּלָםu/LAMbutגַּםgamevenמִן־הַשָּׂרִיםmin-has/sa/RIMof the rulersהֶאֱמִינוּ־בוֹhe/e/MI/nu-vobelieved in himרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyאַךְakhbutבִּגְלַלbig/LALbecause ofהַפְּרוּשִׁיםhap/Pe/ru/SHIMthe Phariseesלֹאlonotהוֹדוּho/DUdid they confessלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatאֲשֶׁר־לֹאa/SHER-lothey would notיְנֻדּוּye/nud/DUbe bannedמִבֵּיתmib/BETout of the house ofהַכְּנֶסֶת׃hak/ke/NE/setassembly

    Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

43. 43

    כִּיkiforכְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory ofאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenחָבִיבcha/VIVwas dearעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themמִכְּבוֹדmik/ke/VODmore than the glory ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

    For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

44. 44

    וַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand called outיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidהַמַּאֲמִיןham/ma/a/MINwhoever believesבִּיbion meלֹא־בִיlo-vinot in meהוּאhudoes heמַאֲמִיןma/a/MINbelievesכִּיkibutאִם־בַּשֹּׁלֵחַim-bash/sho/LE/achonly in Him who sentאֹתִי׃o/TIme

    Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

45. 45

    וְהָרֹאֶהve/ha/ro/Eand whoever seesאֹתִיo/TImeהוּאhuheרֹאֶהro/Eseesאֶת־שֹׁלְחִי׃et-shol/CHIHim who sent me

    And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

46. 46

    אֲנִיa/NIIבָאתִיVA/tiam comeאֶל־הָעוֹלָםel-ha/o/LAMinto the worldלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beאוֹרorlightלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatכׇּל־הַמַּאֲמִיןkol-ham/ma/a/MINwhoever believesבִּיbion meלֹאlonotיֵשֵׁבye/SHEVwill remainבַּחֹשֶׁךְ׃ba/CHO/shekhin darkness

    I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

47. 47

    וְהַשֹּׁמֵעַve/hash/sho/ME/aand whoever hearsאֶת־דְּבָרַיet-de/va/RAYmy wordsוְלֹאve/LOand does notיַאֲמִיןya/a/MINbelieveאֲנִיa/NIIלֹאlonotאֶשְׁפֹּטesh/POTjudgeאֹתוֹo/TOhimכִּיkiforלֹא־בָאתִיlo-VA/tiI came notלִשְׁפֹּטlish/POTto judgeאֶת־הָעוֹלָםet-ha/o/LAMthe worldכִּיkibutאִםimonlyלְהוֹשִׁיעַle/ho/SHI/ato saveאֶת־הָעוֹלָם׃et-ha/o/LAMthe world

    And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

48. 48

    וְאִישׁve/ISHand a manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיִבְזֵנִיyiv/ze/NIdespises meוְלֹאve/LOand does notיִקַּחyik/KACHtakeאֲמָרַיa/ma/RAYmy wordsיֵשׁyeshthere isאֶחָדe/CHADoneאֲשֶׁר־יָדִיןa/SHER-ya/DINwho judgesאֹתוֹo/TOhimהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARthe wordאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tiI have spokenהוּאhuitיָדִיןya/DINwill judgeאֹתוֹo/TOhimבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהָאַחֲרוֹן׃ha/a/cha/RONthe last

    He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

49. 49

    כִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NIIלֹאlonotמִלִּבִּיmil/lib/BIfrom my heartדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tihave spokenכִּיkibutאִם־אָבִיim-A/VIonly my Fatherהַשֹּׁלֵחַhash/sho/LE/achwho sentאֹתִיo/TImeהוּאhuHeצִוַּנִיtsiv/VA/nicommanded meאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhatאֹמַרo/MARI should sayוְאֶת־אֲשֶׁרve/ET-a/SHERand whatאֲדַבֵּר׃a/dab/BERI should speak

    For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

50. 50

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iיָדַעְתִּיya/DA/tiknowכִּיkithatמִצְוָתוֹmits/va/TOHis commandmentחַיֵּיchay/YEthe life ofעוֹלָםo/LAMeternityלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERall thatאֲדַבֵּרa/dab/BERI speakכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasאָמַרa/MARsaidאֵלַיe/LAYto meאָבִיA/VImy Fatherכֵּןkensoאֲנִיa/NIIמְדַבֵּר׃me/dab/BERspeak

    And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
