   וְזֶהve/ZEand this isרֹאשׁroshthe head ofהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoדִּבַּרְנוּdib/BAR/nuwe spokeיֶשׁ־לָנוּyesh-LA/nuwe haveכֹּהֵןko/HENa priestגָּדוֹלga/DOLhighכָּזֶהka/ZEsuchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיָשַׁבya/SHAVsatלִימִיןli/MINat the right hand ofכִּסֵּאkis/SEthe throne ofהַגְּדֻלָּהhag/Ge/dul/LAthe Majestyבַּשָּׁמָיִם׃bash/sha/MA/yimin heaven

   Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

   וְהוּאve/HUand he isמְשָׁרֵתme/sha/RETa minister ofהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshthe holy placeוּמִשְׁכַּןu/mish/KANand the tabernacle ofהָאֱמֶתha/e/METtrueאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָטָהna/TApitchedהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordוְלֹאve/LOand notאָדָם׃a/DAMman

   A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

   כִּיkiforכׇּל־כֹּהֵןkol-ko/HENevery priestגָּדוֹלga/DOLhighהוּאhuisמֻפְקָדmuf/KADappointedלְהַקְרִיבle/hak/RIVto offerמְנָחוֹתme/na/CHOTgiftsוּזְבָחִיםu/ze/va/CHIMand sacrificesוְעַל־כֵּןve/AL-kenand thereforeצֹרֶךְTSO/rekhneedהוּאhuit isכִּיkithatגַם־לָזֶהgam-la/ZEthis man alsoיִהְיֶהyih/YEthere beאֵתetsomethingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיַקְרִיב׃yak/RIVhe would offer

   For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

   כִּיkisinceלוּluifהָיָהha/YAhe wereבָאָרֶץva/A/retson earthלֹאlonotהָיָהha/YAwould he beכֹּהֵןko/HENa priestבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERsinceיֵשׁyeshthere areכֹּהֲנִיםko/ha/NIMpriestsהַמַּקְרִיבִיםham/mak/ri/VIMwho offerאֶת־הַמְּנָחוֹתet-ham/me/na/CHOTthe giftsעַל־פִּיal-piaccording toהַתּוֹרָה׃hat/to/RAthe law

   For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:

   אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoעֹבְדִיםov/DIMserveלִדְמוּתlid/MUTin a likenessוְצֵלve/TSELand a shadow ofהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich areבַּשָּׁמַיִםbash/sha/MA/yimin heavenכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasנִזְהַרniz/HARwas warnedמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesמֵאֵתme/ETofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodבְּבֹאוֹbe/vo/Owhen he cameלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto makeאֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּןet-ham/mish/KANthe tabernacleכִּיkiforרְאֵהre/Eseeאָמַרa/MARHe saysוַעֲשֵׂהva/a/SEand makeאֶת־הַכֹּלet-hak/KOLall thingsבַּתַּבְנִיתbat/tav/NITaccording to the patternאֲשֶׁר־אַתָּהa/SHER-at/TAwhich youמׇרְאֶהmor/Eare shownבָּהָר׃ba/HARin the mount

   Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

   וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהִשִּׂיגhis/SIGhe obtainedעֲבֹדָהa/vo/DAa serviceנַעֲלָהna/a/LAexaltedכְּפִיke/FIasאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatגַּם־הוּאgam-huhe alsoמְתַוֵּךְme/tav/VEKHmediatorבְּרִיתbe/RITa covenantטוֹבָהto/VAbetterמִן־הָרִאשׁוֹנָהmin-ha/ri/sho/NAthan the firstאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהוּקְמָהhuk/MAwas establishedעַל־הַבְטָחוֹתal-hav/ta/CHOTon promisesיְתֵרוֹת׃ye/te/ROTbetter

   But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

   כִּיkiforלוּluifהָיְתָהha/ye/TAhad beenהַבְּרִיתhab/be/RITthe covenantהָרִאשׁוֹנָהha/ri/sho/NAthe firstהַהִיאha/HIthatתְּמִימָהte/mi/MAfaultlessלֹא־בֻקַּשׁlo-vuk/KASHwould not have been soughtמָקוֹםma/KOMa placeלַשֵּׁנִית׃lash/she/NITfor the second

   For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

8. 8

   כִּי־כֹהki-khofor thusאָמַרa/MARHe saysבְּהוֹכִיחַbe/ho/KHI/achin rebukingאֹתָםo/TAMthemהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdיָמִיםya/MIMthe daysבָּאִיםba/IMare comingנְאֻם־יְהוָֹהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוְכָרַתִּיve/kha/rat/TIwhen I will makeאֶת־בֵּיתet-betwith the house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְאֶת־בֵּיתve/ET-betand with the house ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahבְּרִיתbe/RITa covenantחֲדָשָׁה׃cha/da/SHAnew

   For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

   לֹאlonotכַבְּרִיתkhab/be/RITlike the covenantאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichכָּרַתִּיka/RAT/tiI madeאֶת־אֲבוֹתָםet-a/vo/TAMwith their fathersבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofהֶחֱזִיקִיhe/che/zi/KII tookבְיָדָםve/ya/DAMby the handלְהוֹצִיאָםle/ho/tsi/AMto bring them outמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofמִצְרָיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptכִּיkibecauseהֵםhemtheyלֹא־עָמְדוּlo-a/me/DUdid not remainבִּבְרִיתִיbiv/ri/TIin My covenantוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iלֹא־פָנִיתִיlo-fa/ni/TII did not regardאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themנְאֻם־יְהוָֹה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

   Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

10. 10

    כִּיkiforזֹאתzotthisהַבְּרִיתhab/be/RITthe covenantאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֶכְרֹתekh/ROTI will makeאֶת־בֵּיתet-betwith the house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMthe daysהָהֵםha/HEMthoseנְאֻם־יְהוָֹהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI will putאֶת־תּוֹרֹתַיet-to/ro/TAYMy lawsבְּמַחְשְׁבוֹתָםbe/mach/she/vo/TAMin their mindsוְעַל־לִבָּםve/AL-lib/BAMand upon their heartsאֶכְתְּבֵםekh/te/VEMI will write themוְהָיִיתִיve/ha/YI/tiand I will beלָהֶםla/HEMto themלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMGodוְהֵמָּהve/HEM/maand theyיִהְיוּ־לִיyih/YU-liwill be to Meלְעָם׃le/AMa people

    For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11. 11

    וְלֹאve/LOand notיְלַמְּדוּye/lam/me/DUwill they teachאִישׁisheachאֶת־רֵעֵהוּet-re/E/huhis neighborוְאִישׁve/ISHand eachאֶת־אָחִיוet-a/CHIVhis brotherלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingדְּעוּde/Uknowאֶת־הָאָדוֹןet-ha/a/DONthe Lordכִּי־כוּלָּםki-khul/LAMfor they allיֵדְעוּyed/Uwill knowאוֹתִיo/TIMeלְמִקְּטַנָּםle/mik/ke/tan/NAMfrom the least of themוְעַד־גְּדוֹלָם׃ve/AD-ge/do/LAMto the greatest of them

    And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

12. 12

    כִּיkiforאֲכַפֵּרa/khap/PERI will atoneלְעַוְלָתָםle/av/la/TAMto their unrighteousnessוְחַטֹּאתָםve/chat/to/TAMand their sinsוַעֲוֹנֹתֵיהֶםva/a/vo/no/te/HEMand their iniquitiesלֹאlonotאֶזְכָּר־עוֹד׃ez/KAR-odwill I remember again

    For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

13. 13

    בְּאׇמְרוֹbe/om/ROin His sayingבְּרִיתbe/RITa covenantחֲדָשָׁהcha/da/SHAnewבִּלָּהbil/LAHe has made oldאֶת־הָרִאשׁוֹנָהet-ha/ri/sho/NAthe firstוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand whatנוֹשָׁןno/SHANgrows oldוּמַזְקִיןu/maz/KINand agesקָרַבka/RAVis nearקִצּוֹ׃kits/TSOits end

    In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
