   אַהֲבַתa/ha/VATthe love ofהָאַחִיםha/a/CHIMthe brothersתַּעֲמֹד׃ta/a/MODlet remain

   Let brotherly love continue.

2. 2

   אַל־תִּשְׁכְּחוּal-tish/ke/CHUdo not forgetלִפְתֹּחַlif/TO/achto openדַּלְתְּכֶםdal/te/KHEMyour doorלַגֵּרִיםlag/ge/RIMto strangersכִּיkiforבָזֹאתva/ZOTby thisיֵשׁyeshthere areאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoאָסְפוּa/se/FUgatheredמַלְאָכִיםmal/a/KHIMangelsאֶל־בֵּיתָםel-be/TAMinto their houseוְלֹאve/LOand notיָדָעוּ׃ya/DA/uknew

   Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

   זִכְרוּzikh/RUrememberאֶת־הָאֲסוּרִיםet-ha/a/su/RIMthe prisonersכַּאֲסוּרִיםka/a/su/RIMas boundעִמָּהֶםim/ma/HEMwith themוְאֶת־הַנִּלְחָצִיםve/ET-han/nil/cha/TSIMand those oppressedכִּיkiforגַם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMyou alsoבַּגְּוִיָּה׃bag/ge/viy/YAin the body

   Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

   נִכְבָּדָהnikh/ba/DAis honorableהַחֲתֻנָּהha/cha/tun/NAthe weddingבַּכֹּלbak/KOLin allוְהַמִּשְׁכָּבve/ham/mish/KAVand the bedטָהוֹרta/HORpureאַךְakhbutאֶת־הַזֹּנִיםet-haz/zo/NIMfornicatorsוְאֶת־הַמְנָאֲפִיםve/ET-ham/na/a/FIMand adulterersיָדִיןya/DINwill judgeאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMGod

   Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

   יְהִיye/HIlet beדַרְכְּכֶםdar/ke/KHEMyour wayבְּלִיbe/LIwithoutאַהֲבַתa/ha/VATthe love ofכֶּסֶףKE/sefmoneyוִהְיוּvih/YUand beשְׂמֵחִיםse/me/CHIMcontentבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERwith whatלָכֶםla/KHEMyou haveכִּיkiforהוּאhuHeאָמַרa/MARhas saidלֹאlonotאַרְפְּךָar/pe/KHAwill I fail youוְלֹאve/LOnorאֶעֶזְבֶךָּ׃e/ez/VEK/kaforsake you

   Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeנֹאמַרno/MARwe sayבֶּטַחBE/tachwith confidenceהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordעֹזֵרo/ZERis helperלִיliis for meוְלֹאve/LOand notאִירָאi/RAwill I fearמַה־יַּעֲשֶׂהma-ya/a/SEwhat can doלִיlito meאָדָם׃a/DAMman

   So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

   זִכְרוּzikh/RUrememberאֶת־הַמֹּשְׁלִיםet-ham/mosh/LIMthose who ruleבָּכֶםba/KHEMamong youאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoדִּבְּרוּdib/be/RUspokeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youאֶת־דְּבַרet-de/VARthe word ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseלְכוּle/KHUwalkבְּעִקְּבוֹתbe/ik/ke/VOTin the footsteps ofאֱמוּנָתָםe/mu/na/TAMtheir faithוּבִינוּu/vi/NUand considerלְאַחֲרִיתle/a/cha/RITthe end ofדַּרְכָּם׃dar/KAMtheir way

   Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

   יֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahהוּאhuheהוּאhuis heאֶתְמוֹלet/MOLyesterdayהַיּוֹםhay/YOMtodayוּלְעוֹלָם׃u/le/o/LAMand ever

   Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

   אַל־תִּנּוֹעוּal-tin/no/Ube not carried aboutבְּתוֹרוֹתbe/to/ROTby teachingsשֹׁנוֹתsho/NOTvariousוְזָרוֹתve/za/ROTand strangeכִּיkiforטוֹבtovit is goodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִכּוֹןyik/KONbe establishedהַלֵּבhal/LEVthe heartבַּחֶסֶדba/CHE/sedby graceוְלֹאve/LOand notבְּמַאֲכָלbe/ma/a/KHALwith foodsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹאlonotהוֹעִילho/ILprofitedלַהֹלְכִיםla/hol/KHIMto those who walkבּוֹ׃boin it

   Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

    יֶשׁ־לָנוּyesh-LA/nuwe haveמִזְבֵּחַmiz/BE/achan altarאֲשֶׁרa/SHERfrom whichאֵיןenthere is noרִשְׁיוֹןrish/YONrightלִמְשָׁרְתֵיlim/sha/re/TEto those who serveהַמִּשְׁכָּןham/mish/KANthe tabernacleלֶאֱכֹלle/e/KHOLto eatמֵעָלָיו׃me/a/LAYVfrom it

    We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

11. 11

    כִּיkiforהַבְּהֵמוֹתhab/be/he/MOTthe animalsהָהֵןha/HENthoseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseהוּבָאhu/VAis broughtדָמָןda/MANbloodבַּקֹּדֶשׁbak/KO/deshinto the holy placeעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEbyהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLhighלְחַטָּאתle/chat/TATfor a sin offeringגְּוִיֹּתֵיהֶןge/viy/yo/te/HENtheir bodiesנִשְׂרָפוֹתnis/ra/FOTare burnedמִחוּץmi/CHUTSoutsideלַמַּחֲנֶה׃lam/ma/cha/NEthe camp

    For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeגַּם־יֵשׁוּעַGam-ye/SHU/aJesus alsoלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatקַדֵּשׁkad/DESHhe might sanctifyאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleבְּדַם־נַפְשׁוֹbe/DAM-naf/SHOby his own bloodסָבַלsa/VALsufferedמִחוּץmi/CHUTSoutsideלַשָּׁעַר׃lash/SHA/arthe gate

    Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeנֵצְאָהnets/Alet us go outאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himאֶל־מִחוּץel-mi/CHUTSoutsideלַמַּחֲנֶהlam/ma/cha/NEthe campנֹשְׂאִיםnos/IMbearingאֶת־חֶרְפָּתוֹ׃et-cher/pa/TOhis reproach

    Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

14. 14

    כִּיkibutפֹהfohereאֵין־לָנוּen-LA/nuwe have noעִירircityעֹמֶדֶתo/ME/detabidingכִּיkibutאִם־אֶת־הַבָּאָהim-et-hab/BA/arather the one to comeאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweמְבַקְשִׁים׃me/vak/SHIMseek

    For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

15. 15

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeעַל־יָדוֹal-ya/DOthrough himנַקְרִיבnak/RIVlet us offerזֶבַחZE/vachthe sacrifice ofתּוֹדָהto/DAthanksgivingלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godתָּמִידta/MIDcontinuallyהִיאhithat isפְּרִיpe/RIthe fruit ofשְׂפָתֵינוּse/fa/TE/nuour lipsהַמּוֹדוֹתham/mo/DOTthat give thanksלִשְׁמוֹ׃lish/MOto His name

    By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

16. 16

    וְאַל־תִּשְׁכְּחוּve/AL-tish/ke/CHUand do not forgetלְהֵיטִיבle/he/TIVto do goodוְלַחֲלֹקve/la/cha/LOKand to shareכִּיkiforבִּזְבָחִיםbiz/va/CHIMwith sacrificesכָּאֵלֶּהka/EL/lesuchיִרְצֶהyir/TSEis pleasedאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMGod

    But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

17. 17

    שִׁמְעוּshim/Ulistenאֶל־הַמֹּשְׁלִיםel-ham/mosh/LIMto those who ruleבָּכֶםba/KHEMamong youוְהִכָּנְעוּve/hik/ka/ne/Uand submitכִּיkiforשֹׁקְדִיםshok/DIMdevotedהֵםhemtheyעַל־נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶםal-naf/sho/te/KHEMover your soulsכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themלָתֵתla/TETgiveחֶשְׁבּוֹןchesh/BONan accountלְמַעַןle/MA/ansoיַעֲשׂוּ־זֹאתya/a/SU-zotthey may do itבְּשִׂמְחָהbe/sim/CHAwith joyוְלֹאve/LOand notבַאֲנָחָהva/a/na/CHAwith groaningכִּיkiforזֹאתzotthisלֹאlonotתוֹעִילto/ILprofitsלָכֶם׃la/KHEMfor you

    Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

    הִתְפַּלְלוּhit/pal/LUprayבַּעֲדֵנוּba/a/DE/nufor usכִּיkiforבְּטוּחִיםbe/tu/CHIMconfidentאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweכִּיkithatלֵבlevheartטוֹבtovgoodלָנוּLA/nuwe haveוַחֲפֵצִיםva/cha/fe/TSIMand wantingבַּכֹּלbak/KOLin allלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto walkבְּיֹשֶׁר׃be/YO/sherin uprightness

    Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

19. 19

    וְעוֹדve/ODand moreיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreאֲבַקֵּשׁa/vak/KESHI askמִכֶּםmik/KEMyouלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doזֹאתzotthisלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatאוּשַׁבu/SHAVI may be returnedאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youמְהֵרָה׃me/he/RAquickly

    But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

20. 20

    וֵאלֹהֵיve/lo/HEand the God ofהַשָּׁלוֹםhash/sha/LOMpeaceאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהֶעֱלָהhe/e/LAbrought upמִן־הַמֵּתִיםmin-ham/me/TIMfrom the deadאֶת־אֲדֹנֵינוּet-a/do/NE/nuour LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusרֹעֵהro/Ethe shepherd ofהַצֹּאןhats/TSONthe sheepהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLgreatבְּדַםbe/DAMthrough the blood ofבְּרִיתbe/RITa covenant ofעוֹלָם׃o/LAMeternity

    Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

21. 21

    הוּאhuHeיַשְׁלִימְכֶםyash/li/me/KHEMmake you completeבְּכׇל־מַעֲשֶׂהbe/KHOL-ma/a/SEin every workטוֹבtovgoodלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doרְצוֹנוֹre/tso/NOHis willבְּפׇעֳלוֹbe/fo/o/LOworkingבָכֶםva/KHEMin youאֶת־הָרָצוּיet-ha/ra/TSUYwhat is pleasingלְפָנָיוle/fa/NAYVbefore Himבְּיַד־יֵשׁוּעַbe/YAD-ye/SHU/athrough Jesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאֲשֶׁרa/SHERto whomלוֹloto himהַכָּבוֹדhak/ka/VODthe gloryלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMfor everוָעֶדva/EDand everאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

22. 22

    וַאֲבַקֵּשׁva/a/vak/KESHand I askמִכֶּםmik/KEMof youאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersשְׂאוּse/Ubearאֶת־דְּבַרet-de/VARthe word ofהַמּוּסָרham/mu/SARthe exhortationכִּיkiforאִגֶּרֶתig/GE/reta letterכָתַבְתִּיkha/TAV/tiI wroteאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youבִּדְבָרִיםbid/va/RIMin wordsמְעַטִּים׃me/at/TIMfew

    And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.

23. 23

    וּדְעוּu/de/Uand knowכִּיkithatטִימוֹתִיּוֹסTi/mo/tiy/YOSTimothyאָחִינוּa/CHI/nuour brotherשֻׁלַּחshul/LACHhas been sentחׇפְשִׁיchof/SHIfreeוְאִם־יָבֹאve/IM-ya/VOand if he comesמְהֵרָהme/he/RAquicklyאֶרְאֶהer/EI will seeאִתּוֹit/TOwith himאֶת־פְּנֵיכֶם׃et-pe/ne/KHEMyour face

    Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.

24. 24

    שַׁאֲלוּsha/a/LUaskלִשְׁלוֹםlish/LOMafter the peace ofכׇּל־הַמֹּשְׁלִיםkol-ham/mosh/LIMall who ruleבָּכֶםba/KHEMamong youוְלִשְׁלוֹםve/lish/LOMand after the peace ofכׇּל־הַקְּדֹשִׁיםkol-hak/ke/do/SHIMall the saintsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERtheyמֵאִיטַלְיָאme/I/tal/YAof Italyשֹׁאֲלִיםsho/a/LIMaskלִשְׁלוֹמְכֶם׃lish/lom/KHEMafter your peace

    Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.

25. 25

    הַחֶסֶדha/CHE/sedgraceיְהִיye/HIbeעִם־כֻּלְּכֶםim-kul/le/KHEMwith all of youאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Grace be with you all. Amen.
