1. 1

   אַהֲבַתlet-brotherlyהָאַחִיםloveתַּעֲמֹד׃continue

   Let brotherly love continue.

2. 2

   הַכְנָסַתthe-entertaining-ofאֹרְחִיםstrangersאַל־תִּשְׁכָּחוּforget-notכִּי־יֵשׁfor-therebyאֲשֶׁרsomeאָסְפוּhave-entertainedמַלְאָכִיםangelsאֶל־בֵּיתָםin-their-houseוְלֹאand-notיָדָעוּ׃were-aware

   Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

   זִכְרוּrememberאֶת־הָאֲסוּרִיםthem-in-bondsכְּאִלּוּas-thoughאַתֶּםyouאֲסוּרִיםboundעִמָּהֶםwith-themוְאֵתandהַנִּלְחָצִיםthem-which-suffer-adversityבַּאֲשֶׁרasגַּם־אַתֶּםbeing-yourselves-alsoבַּבָּשָׂר׃in-the-body

   Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

   הָאִישׁוּתmarriageתִּיקַרis-honorableבַּכֹּלin-allוִיצוּעֲכֶםand-the-bedאַל־יְחֻלָּלundefiledאֶת־הַזֹּנִיםbut-whoremongersוְאֶת־הַמְנָאֲפִיםand-adulterersיָדִיןwill-judgeאֱלֹהִים׃God

   Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

   רַחֲקוּbe-withoutמֵאַהֲבַתthe-love-ofכֶּסֶףmoneyוִהְיוּand-beשְׂמֵחִיםcontentבְּחֶלְקְכֶםwith-your-portionכִּיforהוּאheאָמַרhath-saidלֹאneverאַרְפְּךָI-will-leave-youוְלֹאnorאֶעֶזְבֶךָּ׃forsake-you

   Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

   עַל־כֵּןthereforeנִבְטַחwe-may-boldlyוְנֹאמַרsayהָאָדוֹןthe-Lordלִיisבְּעֹזְרָיmy-helperלֹאnotאִירָאI-will-fearמַה־יַּעֲשֶׂהwhat-shall-doלִיunto-meאָדָם׃man

   So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

   זִכְרוּrememberאֶת־מַנְהִיגֵיכֶםthem-that-have-the-rule-over-youאֲשֶׁר־הִגִּידוּwho-have-spokenלָכֶםto-youאֶת־דְּבַרthe-word-ofהָאֱלֹהִיםGodבִּינוּconsideringלְאַחֲרִיתthe-end-ofדַּרְכָּםtheir-conversationוּלְכוּfollowבֶּאֱמוּנָתָם׃their-faith

   Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

8. 8

   יֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahכְּמוֹasשֶׁהוּאthe-sameאֶתְמוֹלyesterdayכֵּןandהַיּוֹםto-dayוְגַם־לְעוֹלָמִים׃and-for-ever

   Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

   אַל־תִּנּוֹעוּbe-not-carried-aboutבְּתוֹרוֹתwith-doctrinesשֹׁנוֹתdiversוְזָרוֹתand-strangeכִּיforטוֹבit-is-goodלְכוֹנֵןthat-be-establishedלִבֵּנוּthe-heartבַּחֶסֶדwith-graceוְלֹאnotבִּדְבָרִיםwithשֶׁל־מַאֲכׇלmeatsאֲשֶׁרwhichלֹאnotהוֹעִילוּhave-profitedלַנֹּהֲגִיםthem-occupiedבָּהֶם׃therein

   Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

    יֶשׁ־לָנוּwe-haveמִזְבֵּחַan-altarאֲשֶׁרwhereofאֵיןhave-noלָהֶםtheyרְשׁוּתrightלִמְשָׁרֲתֵיwhich-serveהַמִּשְׁכָּןthe-tabernacleלֶאֱכֹלto-eatמֵעָלָיו׃thereof

    We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

11. 11

    כִּי־הַבְּהֵמוֹתfor-the-beastsאֲשֶׁרwhoseהוּבָאis-broughtדָמָןbloodבַּקֹּדֶשׁinto-the-sanctuaryלְכַפָּרַתforהַחֵטְאsinעַל־יְדֵיbyהַכֹּהֵןthe-highהַגָּדוֹלpriestגְּוִיֹּתֵיהֶןtheir-bodiesנִשְׂרְפוּare-burnedמִחוּץwithoutלַמַּחֲנֶה׃the-camp

    For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

12. 12

    בַּעֲבוּרbecause-ofזֹאתthisגַּם־יֵשׁוּעַJesus-alsoעֻנָּהsufferedמִחוּץwithoutלַשָּׁעַרthe-gateלְמַעַןthatקַדֵּשׁhe-might-sanctifyאֶת־הָעָםthe-peopleבְּדָמוֹ׃with-his-own-blood

    Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

13. 13

    לָכֵןthereforeנֵצְאָה־נָּאlet-us-go-forthאֵלָיוunto-himאֶל־מִחוּץwithoutלַמַּחֲנֶהthe-campוְנִשָׂאbearingאֶת־חֶרְפָּתוֹ׃his-reproach

    Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

14. 14

    כִּי־פֹהfor-hereאֵין־לָנוּwe-have-noעִירcityעֹמָדֶתcontinuingכִּיbutאִם־אֶת־הָעִירthe-cityהָעֲתִידָהto-comeאֲנַחְנוּweמְבַקְשִׁים׃seek

    For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

15. 15

    לָכֵןthereforeנַקְרִיבlet-us-offerעַל־יָדוֹby-himבְּכׇל־עֵתcontinuallyזֶבַחthe-sacrifice-ofתּוֹדָהpraiseלֵאלֹהִיםto-Godהִיא־פְרִיthat-is-the-fruit-ofשְׂפָתַיִםour-lipsהַמּוֹדוֹתgiving-thanksלִשְׁמוֹ׃to-his-name

    By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

16. 16

    וְאַל־תִּשְׁכְּחוּbut-forget-notלִגְמֹלto-doחֶסֶדgoodוְלָתֵתand-to-communicateלָאֶבְיוֹנִיםto-the-poorכִּי־זְבָחִיםfor-with-sacrificesכָּאֵלֶּהsuchיֶעֶרְבוּis-well-pleasedלֵאלֹהִים׃God

    But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

17. 17

    שִׁמְעוּobeyאֶל־מַנְהִיגֵיכֶםthem-that-have-the-rule-over-youוְהִכָּנְעוּand-submit-yourselvesמִפְּנֵיהֶםto-themכִּי־שֹׁקְדִיםfor-they-watchהֵםforעַל־נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶםyour-soulsכַּעֲתִידִיםas-they-that-mustלָתֵתgiveחֶשְׁבּוֹןaccountלְמַעַןthatיַעֲשׂוּ־זֹאתthey-may-do-itבְּשִׂמְחָהwith-joyוְלֹאand-notבַאֲנָחָהwith-griefכִּיforלֹא־לְהוֹעִילthat-is-unprofitableזֹאתforלָכֶם׃you

    Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

18. 18

    הִתְפַּלֲלוּpray!בַּעֲדֵנוּfor-usכִּיforיָדַעְנוּwe-trustאֲשֶׁרthatשְׁלֵמָהa-goodמַחֲשַׁבְתֵּנוּconscienceוְנַחְפֹּץwillingלָלֶכֶתto-liveדֶּרֶךְhonestlyיְשָׁרָהin-a-wayבַּכֹּל׃in-all-things

    Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

19. 19

    וְאֶפְצַרbut-I-beseechבָּכֶםyouמְאֹדthe-ratherלַעֲשׂוֹתto-doהַדָּבָרthe-thingהַזֶּהthisלְמַעַןthatאוּשַׁבI-may-be-restoredאֲלֵיכֶםunto-youבִּמְהֵרָה׃soon

    But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

20. 20

    וֵאלֹהֵיand-God-ofהַשָּׁלוֹםthe-peaceאֲשֶׁרthatבְּדַםthrough-the-blood-ofבְּרִיתthe-covenantעוֹלָםeverlastingהֶעֱלָהbrought-againמִן־הַמֵּתִיםfrom-the-deadאֶת־רֹעֵהthe-shepherd-ofהַצֹּאןthe-sheepהַגָּדוֹלthat-greatאֶת־יֵשׁוּעַeven-Jesusאֲדֹנֵינוּ׃our-Lord

    Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

21. 21

    הוּאheיַשְׁלִימְכֶםmake-you-perfectבְּכׇל־מַעֲשֶׂהin-every-goodטוֹבworkלַעֲשׂוֹתto-doרְצוֹנוֹhis-willבְּפׇעֳלוֹworkingבָכֶםin-youאֶת־הָרָצוּיthat-which-is-wellpleasingלְפָנָיוin-his-sightבְּיַד־יֵשׁוּעַthrough-JesusהַמָּשִׁיחַChristלוֹto-whomהַכָּבוֹדbe-gloryלְעוֹלְמֵיforeverעוֹלָמִיםeverlastingאָמֵן׃amen

    Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

22. 22

    וַאֲבַקֵּשׁand-I-beseechמִכֶּםyouאַחַיbrethrenשְׂאוּ־נָאsufferדְּבַרthe-word-ofהַתּוֹכֵחָהexhortationכִּיforכָתַבְתִּיI-have-writtenאֲלֵיכֶםunto-youבִּקְצֵרָה׃in-few-words

    And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.

23. 23

    וּדְעוּand-knowכִּיbecauseטִימוֹתִיּוֹסTimothyאָחִינוּour-brotherשֻׁלַּחis-set-at-libertyחׇפְשִׁיfreeוְאִם־יָבֹאwith-whom-if-he-comeבִמְהֵרָהshortlyאֶרְאֶהI-will-seeאִתּוֹwith-himאֶת־פְּנֵיכֶם׃you

    Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.

24. 24

    שַׁאֲלוּsaluteלִשְׁלוֹםfor-the-welfare-ofכׇּל־מַנְהִיגֵיכֶםall-them-that-have-the-rule-over-youוְלִשְׁלוֹםandכׇּל־הַקְּדֹשִׂיםall-the-saintsבְּנֵיthey-ofאֶרֶץthe-landאִיטַלְיָאof-Italyשֹׁאֲלִיםsaluteלִשְׁלוֹמְכֶם׃you

    Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.

25. 25

    הַחֶסֶדgraceעִם־כֻּלְּכֶםbe-with-you-allאָמֵן׃amen

    Grace be with you all. Amen.
