    בַּעֲבוּרbecause-ofזֹאתthisאֲנִיIפוֹלוֹסPaulאֲסִירthe-prisoner-ofהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahלְמַעַנְכֶםfor-your-sakesהַגּוֹיִם׃the-nations

    For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

    כִּי־אׇמְנָםbecause-trulyשְׁמַעְתֶּםyou-have-heardהַנְהָגַתthe-stewardship-ofחֶסֶדgraceהָאֱלֹהִיםthe-Godאֲשֶׁר־נִתַּןwhose-was-givenלִיto-meאֲלֵיכֶם׃unto-you

    If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

    כִּיbecauseבֶחָזוֹןby-revelationגִּלָּה־לִיHe-revealed-to-meהַסּוֹדthe-mysteryאֲשֶׁרwhichכָּתַבְתִּיI-have-writtenלָכֶםto-youבִּמְעַטin-fewמִלִּין׃words

    How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

    וּבְקָרְאֲכֶםand-when-you-shall-readתּוּכְלוּyou-mayלְהַכִּירto-perceiveאֶת־בִּינָתִיmy-understandingבְּסוֹדin-the-mystery-ofהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃the-Messiah

    Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

    אֲשֶׁרwhichבַּדּוֹרֹתin-the-generationsהָרִאשֹׁנִיםthe-formerלֹאnotנוֹדַעwas-made-knownלִבְנֵיunto-the-children-ofאָדָםmanכַּאֲשֶׁרasנִגְלָהhas-been-made-manifestעַתָּהnowלִשְׁלִיחָיוto-his-apostlesהַקְּדוֹשִׁיםthe-saintsוְלִנְבִיאָיוand-to-His-prophetsבָּרוּחַ׃in-the-Spirit

    Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

    שֶׁיִּהְיוּthat-should-beהַגּוֹיִםthe-nationsגַּם־הֵםalso-theyנֹחֲלִיםfellow-heirsוּבְגוּףand-in-one-bodyאֶחָדoneוְחַבְרֵיand-partakers-ofהַהַבְטָחָהthe-promiseבַּמָּשִׁיחַin-the-MessiahיֵשׁוּעַJesusעַל־יְדֵיby-means-ofהַבְּשׂרָה׃the-gospel

    That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

    אֲשֶׁרwhichהָיִיתִיI-wasלָהּthereofלִמְשָׁרֵתa-ministerבְּמַתְּנַתin-gift-ofחֶסֶדgraceאֱלֹהִיםGodהַנְּתוּנָהthe-givenלִיto-meכְּפִיaccording-toפְּעֻלַּתthe-working-ofגְּבוּרָתוֹ׃his-power

    Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

    לִיto-meאֲנִיIצְעִירless-thanהַצְּעִירִיםthe-leastשֶׁבְּכׇל־הַקְּדוֹשִׁיםthat-in-all-the-saintsנִתַּןwas-givenהַחֶסֶדthe-graceהַזֶּהthisלְבַשֵׂרto-preachבַּגּוֹיִםby-the-nationsאֶת־עשֶׁרthe-riches-ofהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahאֲשֶׁרwhichרַבgreatהוּאheלְאֵיןpast-findingחֵקֶר׃out

    Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

    וּלְהָאִירand-to-enlightenעֵינֵיthe-eyes-ofכֹלallלִרְאוֹתto-seeמַה־הַנְהָגַתwhat-the-dispensation-ofהַסּוֹדthe-mysteryהַנִּסְתָּרthe-secretמִדֹּרֹתfrom-generations ofעוֹלָםeternalבֵּאלֹהִיםin-Godיוֹצֵרwho-createdהַכֹּלallעַל־יְדֵיby-means-ofיֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃the-Messiah

    And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

    לְמַעַןin-order-thatאֲשֶׁרwhichתִּוָּדַעmight-be-knownעַתָּהnowעַל־יְדֵיby-means-ofהָעֵדָהthe-churchלַשָׂרִיםto-the-princesוְלַשַּׁלִּיטִיםand-to-the-rulersאֲשֶׁרwhichבַּמְּרוֹמִיםin-the-heightsחׇכְמַתthe-wisdom-ofאֱלֹהִיםGodהַמַּפְלִיאָהthe-manifoldדְּרָכֶיהָ׃its-ways

    To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

    עַל־פִּיaccording-toעֲצַתthe-plan-ofעוֹלָמִיםeverlastingאֲשֶׁרwhichיָעַץhe-purposedבַּמָּשִׁיחַin-the-MessiahיֵשׁוּעַJesusאֲדֹנֵינוּ׃our-Lord

    According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

    אֲשֶׁרwhichבּוֹin-himפִּתְחוֹןan opening ofפֶּהmouthלָנוּusוּמָבוֹאand-an-entranceבְּבִטְחָהwith-confidenceעַל־יַדbyאֱמוּנָתוֹ׃his-faith

    In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

  13. 13

    עַל־כֵּןthereforeאֲבַקֵּשׁI-desireשֶׁלּאthat-notתֵחַתּוּyou-faintבְּצָרוֹתַיin-my-afflictionsלְמַעַנְכֶםfor-your-sakesכִּי־הִיאbecause-it-isתִּפְאַרְתְּכֶם׃your-glory

    Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

    בַּעֲבוּרbecause-ofזֹאתthisאֶכְרְעָהI-bowעַל־בִּרְכָּיupon-the knees ofלִפְנֵיbeforeאֲבִיthe-father-ofאֲדֹנֵינוּour-LordיֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃the-Messiah

    For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

    אֲשֶׁרwhichנִקְרָאis-namedשְׁמוֹhis-nameעַלuponכׇּל־מִשְׁפָּחָהevery-familyשֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִםwho-is-in-heavenוְשֶׁבָּאָרֶץ׃and-that-in-the-land

    Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

  16. 16

    לָתֵתto-giveלָכֶםto-youלְפִי־עשֶׁרaccording-to-the-riches-ofכְּבוֹדוֹHis-gloryשֶׁיִּתְחַזֵּקthat-you-be-strengthenedבִּגְבוּרָהwith-powerעַל־יְדֵיby-means-ofרוּחוֹHis-Spiritהָאָדָםthe-manהַפְּנִימִי׃the-inner

    That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

    שֶׁיִּשְׁכֹּןthat-may-dwellהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahבִּלְבַבְכֶםin-your-heartsעַל־יְדֵיby-means-ofהָאֱמוּנָהthe-faithוִהְיִיתֶםand-you-becomeמַשְׁרִישִׁיםrootedוּמְיֻסָּדִיםand-foundedבְּאַהֲבָה׃in-love

    That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

  18. 18

    לְמַעַןin-order-thatתּוּכְלוּyou-mayלְהָבִיןto-comprehendכְּכׇל־הַקְּדוֹשִׁיםwith-all-the-saintsמֶהwhatהָרֹחַבthe-breadthוְהָאֹרֶךְand-the-lengthוְהָעֹמֶקand-the-depthוְהַגֹּבַהּ׃and-the-height

    May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

    וִידַעְתֶּםand-you-shall-knowאֶת־אַהֲבַתlove-ofהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahהַנַּעֲלָהwhich-passethעַל־כׇּל־דָּעַתupon-all-knowledgeוְנִמְלֵאתֶםand-you-be-filled-withאֶת־כׇּל־מְלוֹאall-the-fullness-ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃the-God

    And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

    וְהַיָּכֹלunto-him-that-is-ableלְהַרְבּוֹתto-do-abundantlyגְּמוּלָיוbenefits-hisעָלֵינוּover-usיוֹתֵרmoreמִכׇּל־מִשְׁאֲלוֹתֵינוּthan-all-our-requestsוּמַחְשְׁבוֹתֵינוּand-our-thoughtsלְפִיaccording-toהַכֹּחַthe-powerהַפֹּעֵלthat-workethבְּקִרְבֵּנוּ׃among-us

    Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

  21. 21

    לוֹhimהַכָּבוֹדbe-gloryבְּקֶרֶבamongהַקָּהָלthe-churchבַּמָּשִׁיחַin-the-MessiahיֵשׁוּעַJesusלְדֹרto-a generationוָדֹרand-a generationעַד־עוֹלְמֵיuntil-the-eternities-ofעוֹלָמִיםeverlastingאָמֵן׃amen

    Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
