    גַּם־אֶתְכֶםalso-youאֲשֶׁרwhichמֵתִיםdeadהֱיִיתֶםyou-wereבְּפִשְׁעֵיכֶםin-your-trespassesוְחַטֹּאתֵיכֶם׃and-your-sins

    And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

    אֲשֶׁרwhichהִתְהַלַּכְתֶּםyou-walkedבָּהֶםin-themכְּדוֹרaccording-to-the-age-ofהָעוֹלָםthe-worldהַזֶּהthisכִּרְצוֹןaccording-to-the-will-ofשַׂרthe-prince-ofמֶמְשֶׁלֶתthe-power-ofהָאֲוִירthe-airוְהוּאand-heהָרוּחַthe-spiritהַפֹּעֵלthat-now-workethכָּעֵתnowבִּבְנֵיamong-sons-ofהַמֶּרִי׃disobedience

    Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

    וְגַם־אֲנַחְנוּand-also-weכֻלָּנוּallבְּתוֹכָםamong-themהָלַכְנוּwe-walkedלְפָנִיםformerlyבְּתַאֲוֹתin-the-desires-ofהַבָּשָׂרthe-fleshלַעֲשׂוֹתto-doחֶפְצֵיthe-desires-ofבְשָׂרֵנוּflesh-ourוּמַחְשְׁבוֹתֵינוּand-our-thoughtsוַנְּהִיand-wereבְנֵי־רֹגֶזsons-of-wrathבְּטִבְעֵנוּby-natureכִּשְׁאָרas-the-rest-ofבְּנֵיthe-sons-ofאָדָם׃man

    Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

    אֲבָל־הָאֱלֹהִיםbut-the-Godהַמָּלֵאwho-is-rich-inרַחֲמִיםmercyבְּרֹבmuchאַהֲבָתוֹHis-loveאֲשֶׁרwhichאָהַבHe-lovedאֹתָנוּ׃us

    But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

    אַחֲרֵיafterהֱיוֹתֵנוּwe-wereמֵתִיםdeadבַּפְּשָׁעִיםin-the-transgressionsהֶחֱיָנוּHe-made-us-aliveעִם־הַמָּשִׁיחַwith-the-Messiahבַּחֶסֶדby-graceנוֹשַׁעְתֶּם׃you-are-saved

    Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

    וַיְעִירֵנוּand-hath-raised-us-upאִתּוֹwith-himאַף־הוֹשִׁיבָנוּand-seated-usבַּמְּרוֹמִיםin-the-heightsבַּמָּשִׁיחַin-the-Messiahיֵשׁוּעַ׃Jesus

    And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

    לְהַרְאוֹתto-showבַּדֹּרוֹתin-the-generationsהַבָּאִיםto-the-comeאֶת־גְּדֻלַּתthe-greatness-ofעשֶׁרthe-riches-ofחַסְדּוֹHis-graceבְּטוֹבָתוֹin-His-kindnessעָלֵינוּover-usבַּמָּשִׁיחַin-the-Messiahיֵשׁוּעַ׃Jesus

    That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

    כִּי־בַחֶסֶדbecause-in-graceנוֹשַׁעְתֶּםyou-are-savedעַל־יְדֵיby-means-ofהָאֱמוּנָהthe-faithוְלֹאand-notמִיֶּדְכֶםof-yourselvesהָיְתָהwasזֹּאתthis(f)כִּי־מַתַּתfor-it-is-the-gift-ofאֱלֹהִיםGodהִיא׃she

    For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

    לֹאnotמִתּוֹךְfrom-the-midst-ofהַמַּעֲשִׂיםthe-worksשֶׁלּאlestיִתְהַלֵּלshould-boastאִישׁ׃any-man

    Not of works, lest any man should boast.

  10. 10

    כִּי־פֹעַלfor-the-workmanship-ofאֱלֹהִיםGodאֲנַחְנוּweנִבְרָאִיםcreatedבַּמָּשִׁיחַin-the-MessiahיֵשׁוּעַJesusלְמַעֲשִׂיםunto-worksטוֹבִיםgoodאֲשֶׁרwhichהֵכִיןpreparedהָאֱלֹהִיםthe-Godמִקֶּדֶםof-oldלְמַעַןin-order-thatנִתְהַלֵּךְwe-walkבָּהֶם׃in-them

    For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

    עַל־כֵּןthereforeזִכְרוּrememberכִּי־אַתֶּםbecause-you-areמִתְּחִלָּהfrom-the-beginningהַגּוֹיִםthe-nationsבַּבָּשָׂרin-the-fleshהַנִּקְרָאִיםwho-are-calledעֲרֵלִיםuncircumcisedבְּפִיby-the-mouth-ofהַנִּקְרָאִיםwho-are-calledבְּנֵיthe-sons-ofהַמִּילָהthe-circumcisionשֶׁהִיאthat-it-isמַעֲשֵׂהwork-ofיָדַיִםhandsבַּבָּשָׂר׃in-the-flesh

    Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

    כִּי־אַתֶּםbecause-you-areבָּעֵתat-the-timeהַהִיאthatהֱיִיתֶםyou-wereבְּלִיwithoutמָשִׁיחַMessiahזָרִיםstrangersמֵעֲדַתfrom-the-commonwealth-ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelוְנׇכְרִיםand-foreignersלִבְרִיתוֹתto-covenants-ofהַהַבְטָחָהthe-promiseבְּאֵיןhaving-noתִּקְוָהhopeוּבְאֵיןand-where-there-is-noלָכֶםto-youאֱלֹהִיםGodבָּעוֹלָם׃of-the-world

    That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

    וְעַתָּהand-nowבְּיֵשׁוּעַin-Jesusהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahאַתֶּםyou-areהָרְחוֹקִיםthe-far-offמֵאָזonceהֱיִיתֶםyou-wereקְרוֹבִיםbrought-nearבְּדַםin-the-blood-ofהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃the-Messiah

    But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

    כִּיbecauseהוּאheשְׁלוֹמֵנוּour-peaceאֲשֶׁרwhichעָשָׂהmadeהַשְּׁנַיִםthe-twoאֶחָדoneוְהָרַסand-hath-broken-downמְחִיצַתthe-partition-ofהַגָּדֵר׃the-fence

    For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

    בְּבַטְּלוֹby-His-abolishingהָאֵיבָהthe-enmityבִּבְשָׂרוֹin-flesh-hisאֶת־תּוֹרַתthe-law-ofהַמִּצְוֹתthe-commandmentsוְהַחֻקּוֹתand-the-ordinancesלִבְרֹאto-createבְנַפְשׁוֹin-himselfאֶת־הַשְּׁנַיִםthe-twoלְאָדָםto-manאֶחָדoneחָדָשׁnewוַיַּעַשׂand-he-madeשָׁלוֹם׃peace

    Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

    וַיְרַצֶּהand-might-reconcileאֶת־שְׁנֵיהֶםthe-twoבְּגוּףin-bodyאֶחָדoneלֵאלֹהִיםGodעַל־יְדֵיby-means-ofצְלִיבָתוֹhis-crucifixionבַּהֲמִיתוֹhaving-slainבְנַפְשׁוֹin-himselfאֶת־הָאֵיבָה׃the-enmity

    And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

  17. 17

    וַיָּבֹאand-cameוַיְבַשֵׂרand-he-preachedלָכֶםto-youשָׁלוֹםpeaceשָׁלוֹםpeaceלָרָחוֹקto-them-afar-offוְלַקָּרוֹב׃and-to-them-near

    And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

  18. 18

    כִּיbecauseעַל־יָדוֹby-himיֵשׁthereלִשְׁנֵינוּto-the two of-usמָבוֹאan-entranceבְּרוּחַin-the-Spiritאֶחָדoneאֶל־אָבִינוּ׃to-our-father

    For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

  19. 19

    לָכֵןthereforeאֵינְכֶםyou-are-notעוֹדany-moreגֵּרִיםstrangersוְתוֹשָׁבִיםand-foreignersכִּי־בְנֵי־עִירָםbut-fellow-citizensשֶׁל־הַקְּדוֹשִׁיםof-the-saintsוּבְנֵיand-sons-ofבֵּיתthe-house-ofאֱלֹהִיםGodאַתֶּם׃you-are

    Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

    בְּנוּיִםbuiltעַל־יְסוֹדupon-the-foundation-ofהַשְּׁלִיחִיםthe-apostlesוְהַנְּבִיאִיםand-the-prophetsוְיֵשׁוּעַand-Jesusהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahהוּאheאֶבֶןstoneהַפִּנָּה׃the-corner

    And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

  21. 21

    אֲשֶׁרwhichחֻבַּר־בּוֹjoined-in-Himיַחַדtogetherהַבִּנְיָןthe-buildingכֻּלּוֹallעַדuntilאֲשֶׁר־יִגְבַּהּrisethלְהֵיכַלto-the-temple-ofקֹדֶשׁholyלָאָדוֹן׃unto-the-Lord

    In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

  22. 22

    וּבוֹand-in-Himנִבְנִיםbeing-builtגַּם־אַתֶּםalso-youלִהְיוֹתto-beמִשְׁכַּןthe tabernacle ofאֱלֹהִיםGodבָּרוּחַ׃in-the-Spirit

    In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
