   וְאֶתְכֶםve/et/KHEMand youהֶחֱיָהhe/che/YAHe made aliveאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoמֵתִיםme/TIMdeadהֱיִיתֶםhe/yi/TEMyou wereבַּפְּשָׁעִיםbap/pe/sha/IMin transgressionsוּבַחֲטָאִים׃u/va/cha/ta/IMand sins

   And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

   אֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whichבָּהֶםba/HEMin themהִתְהַלַּכְתֶּםhit/hal/lakh/TEMyou walkedלְפָנִיםle/fa/NIMformerlyכִּמְרוּצַתkim/ru/TSATaccording to the course ofהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלְפִיle/FIaccording toשַׂרsarthe prince ofשִׁלְטוֹןshil/TONauthorityהָאֲוִירha/a/VIRthe airהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe spiritהַפֹּעֵלhap/po/ELthat worksעַתָּהat/TAnowבִּבְנֵיbiv/NEin the sons ofהַמֶּרִי׃ham/ME/rirebellion

   Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

   אֲשֶׁרa/SHERamong whomבְּתוֹכָםbe/to/KHAMamong themגַּם־אֲנַחְנוּgam-a/NACH/nualso weכֻלָּנוּkhul/LA/nuall of usהִתְהַלַּכְנוּhit/hal/LAKH/nuwe walkלְפָנִיםle/fa/NIMformerlyבְּתַאֲוֹתbe/ta/a/VOTin the desires ofבְּשָׂרֵנוּbe/sa/RE/nuour fleshבַּעֲשׂוֹתֵנוּba/a/so/te/NUdoingאֶת־חֶפְצֵיet-chef/TSEthe desires ofהַבָּשָׂרhab/ba/SARthe fleshוְהַמַּחֲשָׁבוֹתve/ham/ma/cha/sha/VOTand the thoughtsוַנִּהְיֶהvan/nih/YEand we wereלְמִינֵנוּle/mi/ne/NUby our natureבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofעֶבְרָהev/RAwrathכִּשְׁאָרkish/ARlike the rest ofהָאֲחֵרִים׃ha/a/che/RIMother

   Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

   אֲבָלa/VALbutהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodהֶעָשִׁירhe/a/SHIRwho is richבַּחֲנִינָהba/cha/ni/NAin graceבַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURforאַהֲבָתוֹa/ha/va/TOHis loveהָרַבָּהha/rab/BAHis greatאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwith whichאָהַבa/HAVHe lovedאֹתָנוּ׃o/TA/nuus

   But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

   גַּםgamevenבִּהְיוֹתֵנוּbih/yo/TE/nuwhen we wereמֵתִיםme/TIMdeadבַּחֲטָאִיםba/cha/ta/IMin sinsהֶחֱיָנוּhe/che/ya/NUHe made us aliveיַחַדYA/chadtogetherעִם־הַמָּשִׁיחַim-Ham/ma/SHI/achwith the Messiahבְחֶסֶדve/CHE/sedby graceנוֹשַׁעְתֶּם׃no/sha/TEMyou have been saved

   Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

   וַיְעִירֵנוּvay/i/re/NUand He raised usיַחַדYA/chadtogetherוַיּוֹשִׁיבֵנוּvay/yo/shi/ve/NUand He seated usיַחַדYA/chadtogetherבַּמְּרוֹמִיםbam/me/ro/MIMin the heightsבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahיֵשׁוּעַ׃Ye/SHU/aJesus

   And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

   לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיַרְאֶהyar/EHe might showבַּדֹּרוֹתbad/do/ROTin the generationsהַבָּאִיםhab/ba/IMto comeאֶת־יִתְרוֹןet-yit/RONthe surpassingעֹשֶׁרO/sherthe riches ofחַסְדּוֹchas/DOHis graceבְּטוֹבָתוֹbe/to/va/TOin His goodnessעָלֵינוּa/LE/nutoward usבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahיֵשׁוּעַ׃Ye/SHU/aJesus

   That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8. 8

   כִּיkiforבְחֶסֶדve/CHE/sedby graceנוֹשַׁעְתֶּםno/sha/TEMyou have been savedעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEthroughהָאֱמוּנָהha/e/mu/NAfaithוְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisלֹאlonotמִכֶּםmik/KEMof youמַתַּתmat/TATa gift ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodהִיא׃hiit is

   For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9. 9

   לֹאlonotמִן־הַמַּעֲשִׂיםmin-ham/ma/a/SIMfrom the worksפֶּןpenlestיִתְהַלֵּלyit/hal/LELboastאִישׁ׃ishanyone

   Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10. 10

    כִּיkiforמַעֲשֵׂהוּma/a/SE/huHis workאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuwe areנִבְרָאִיםniv/ra/IMcreatedבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the MessiahיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusלְמַעֲשִׂיםle/ma/a/SIMfor worksטוֹבִיםto/VIMgoodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהֵכִיןhe/KHINpreparedהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodמִקֶּדֶםmik/KE/dembeforehandלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatנִתְהַלֵּךְnit/hal/LEKHwe should walkבָּהֶם׃ba/HEMin them

    For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeזִכְרוּzikh/RUrememberכִּיkithatאַתֶּםat/TEMyouלְפָנִיםle/fa/NIMformerlyגּוֹיִםGo/YIMGentilesבַּבָּשָׂרbab/ba/SARin the fleshהַנִּקְרָאִיםhan/nik/ra/IMwho are calledעֲרֵלִיםa/re/LIMuncircumcisedבְּפִיbe/FIby the mouth ofהַנִּקְרָאִיםhan/nik/ra/IMwho are calledמוּלִיםmu/LIMthe circumcisedבַּבָּשָׂרbab/ba/SARin the fleshמַעֲשֵׂהma/a/SEthe work ofיָדַיִם׃ya/DA/yimhands

    Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

    כִּיkithatבָּעֵתba/ETat the timeהַהִיאha/HIthatהֱיִיתֶםhe/yi/TEMwereבְּלִיbe/LIwithoutהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahזָרִיםza/RIMstrangersמֵעֲדַתme/a/DATto the congregation ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְנׇכְרִיםve/nokh/RIMand foreignersלִבְרִיתוֹתliv/ri/TOTto the covenants ofהַהַבְטָחָהha/hav/ta/CHAthe promiseבְּאֵיןbe/ENwithoutתִּקְוָהtik/VAhopeוּלְלֹאu/le/LOand withoutאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodבָּעוֹלָם׃ba/o/LAMin the world

    That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

13. 13

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowבְּיֵשׁוּעַbe/Ye/SHU/ain Jesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאַתֶּםat/TEMyouהָרְחוֹקִיםha/re/cho/KIMwho were farמֵאָזme/AZonceהֱיִיתֶםhe/yi/TEMhave becomeקְרוֹבִיםke/ro/VIMnearבְּדַםbe/DAMby the blood ofהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

14. 14

    כִּיkiforהוּאhuhe isשְׁלוֹמֵנוּshe/lo/ME/nuour peaceאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoעָשָׂהa/SAmadeאֶת־הַשְּׁנַיִםet-hash/she/NA/yimthe twoאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְהָרַסve/ha/RASand tore downאֶת־הַגָּדֵרet-hag/ga/DERthe wallהַתִּיכֹןhat/ti/KHONmiddleהַמַּבְדִּילham/mav/DILthat separatesבֵּינֵינוּ׃be/NE/nubetween us

    For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15. 15

    בְּהַעֲבִירוֹbe/ha/a/vi/ROin his abolishingבִּבְשָׂרוֹbiv/sa/ROin his fleshאֶת־הָאֵיבָהet-ha/e/VAthe enmityאֶת־תּוֹרַתet-to/RATthe law ofהַמִּצְוֹתham/mits/VOTthe commandmentsבַּחֻקּוֹתba/chuk/KOTin ordinancesלִבְרֹאliv/ROto createבְנַפְשׁוֹve/naf/SHOin himselfאֶת־הַשְּׁנַיִםet-hash/she/NA/yimthe twoלְאָדָםle/a/DAMinto a manאֶחָדe/CHADoneחָדָשׁcha/DASHnewעֹשֶׂהo/SEmakingשָׁלוֹם׃sha/LOMpeace

    Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

16. 16

    וּלְמַעַןu/le/MA/anand thatיְרַצֶּהye/rats/TSEhe might reconcileאֶת־שְׁנֵיהֶםet-she/ne/HEMthe two of themאֶל־הָאֱלֹהִיםel-ha/e/lo/HIMto Godבְּגוּףbe/GUFin a bodyאֶחָדe/CHADoneבְּהִצָּלְבוֹbe/hits/tsa/le/VOby his crucifixionבַּהֲמִיתוֹba/ha/mi/TOby killingבּוֹboby itאֶת־הָאֵיבָה׃et-ha/e/VAthe enmity

    And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

17. 17

    וַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand he cameוַיְבַשֵּׂרvay/vas/SERand preachedשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceלָכֶםla/KHEMto youהָרְחוֹקִיםha/re/cho/KIMwho were farוְלַקְּרוֹבִים׃ve/lak/ke/ro/VIMand to the near

    And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

18. 18

    כִּיkiforעַל־יָדוֹal-ya/DOthrough himיֵשׁyeshthere isלִשְׁנֵינוּlish/NE/nufor both of usמָבוֹאma/VOaccessבְּרוּחַbe/RU/achin the Spiritאֶחָדe/CHADoneאֶל־הָאָב׃el-Ha/AVto the Father

    For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

19. 19

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאֵינְכֶםe/ne/KHEMyou are notעוֹדodany longerגֵּרִיםge/RIMstrangersוְתוֹשָׁבִיםve/to/sha/VIMand sojournersכִּיkibutאִם־אֶזְרָחִיםim-ez/ra/CHIMrather fellow citizensעִם־הַקְּדוֹשִׁיםim-hak/ke/do/SHIMwith the saintsוּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand sons ofבֵיתvetthe household ofאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMGod

    Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

20. 20

    בְּנוּיִםbe/nu/YIMbuiltעַל־יְסוֹדal-ye/SODon the foundation ofהַשְּׁלִיחִיםhash/she/li/CHIMthe apostlesוְהַנְּבִיאִיםve/han/ne/vi/IMand the prophetsוְיֵשׁוּעַve/Ye/SHU/aand Jesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahהוּאhuhe isאֶבֶןE/venthe stone ofרֹאשׁroshthe head ofפִּנָּה׃pin/NAthe corner

    And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21. 21

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whomבּוֹboin himכׇּל־הַבִּנְיָןkol-hab/bin/YANall the buildingמְחֻבָּרme/chub/BARjoined togetherיַחְדָּוyach/DAVtogetherגָּדֵלga/DELgrowsלְהֵיכַלle/he/KHALinto a temple ofקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholinessבָּאָדוֹן׃ba/a/DONin the Lord

    In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22. 22

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whomבּוֹboin himגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMyou alsoנִבְנִיםniv/NIMare builtיַחַדYA/chadtogetherלִמְעוֹןlim/ONfor a dwelling ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodבָּרוּחַ׃ba/RU/achby the Spirit

    In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
