   Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

   Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

   כַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasבָּחַרba/CHARHe choseאֹתָנוּo/TA/nuusבוֹvoin himלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeמוֹסְדוֹתmos/DOTthe foundations ofהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beקְדֹשִׁיםke/do/SHIMholyוּתְמִימִיםu/te/mi/MIMand blamelessלְפָנָיוle/fa/NAYVbefore Himבְּאַהֲבָה׃be/a/ha/VAin love

   According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

   אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיְעָדָנוּye/a/da/NUHe appointed usלְמִשְׁפַּטle/mish/PATfor the right ofבָּנִיםba/NIMchildrenעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEthroughיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahלוֹlofor Himselfכִּרְצוֹןkir/TSONaccording to the pleasure ofחֶפְצוֹ׃chef/TSOHis desire

   Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

   לִתְהִלַּתlit/hil/LATto the praise ofכְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory ofחַסְדּוֹchas/DOHis graceאֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whichבּוֹboin itעָשָׂהa/SAHe madeאֹתָנוּo/TA/nuusרְצוּיִםre/tsu/YIMpleasingבִּידִידוֹ׃bI/di/DOin His Beloved

   To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

   אֲשֶׁר־בּוֹa/SHER-boin whomלָנוּLA/nuto usהַפְּדוּתhap/pe/DUTthe redemptionבְּדָמוֹbe/da/MOby his bloodוּסְלִיחַתu/se/li/CHATand the forgiveness ofהַחֲטָאִיםha/cha/ta/IMsinsכְּעֹשֶׁרke/O/sheraccording to the riches ofחַסְדּוֹ׃chas/DOHis grace

   In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

   אֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהִרְבָּהhir/BAHe increasedעָלֵינוּa/LE/nuupon usבְּכׇל־חׇכְמָהbe/KHOL-chokh/MAin all wisdomוְעׇרְמָה׃ve/or/MAand prudence

   Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

   וְהוֹדִיעַve/ho/DI/aand He made knownלָנוּLA/nuto usאֶת־סוֹדet-sodthe secret ofחֶפְצוֹchef/TSOHis desireכִּרְצוֹנוֹkir/tso/NOaccording to His pleasureאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיָעַץya/ATSHe purposedבּוֹ׃boin him

   Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatבִּתְקוּפַתbit/ku/FATin the fullness ofמְלֹאme/LOthe fullness ofהָעִתִּיםha/it/TIMthe timesיְקַבֵּץye/kab/BETSHe might gatherיַחְדָּוyach/DAVtogetherאֶת־הַכֹּלet-hak/KOLallבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahגַּםgambothאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich areבַּשָּׁמַיִםbash/sha/MA/yimin heavenוְגַםve/GAMand alsoאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich areבָּאָרֶץba/A/retson earthבּוֹ׃boin him

    That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whomבּוֹboin himגַּםgamalsoנָחַלְנוּna/chal/NUwe received an inheritanceאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיְעָדָנוּye/a/da/NUHe appointed usכְּמַחֲשֶׁבֶתke/ma/cha/SHE/vetaccording to the purpose ofהַפֹּעֵלhap/Po/ELthe One who worksאֶת־הַכֹּלet-hak/KOLall thingsכַּעֲצַתka/a/TSATaccording to the counsel ofחֶפְצוֹ׃chef/TSOHis desire

    In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatנִהְיֶהnih/YEwe would beלִתְהִלַּתlit/hil/LATto the praise ofכְּבוֹדוֹke/vo/DOHis gloryאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoרִאשֹׁנָהri/sho/NAfirstבָּטַחְנוּba/tach/NUtrustedבַּמָּשִׁיחַ׃bam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiah

    That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whomבּוֹboin himגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMyou alsoבְּטַחְתֶּםbe/tach/TEMyou trustedאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterשׇׁמְעֲכֶםshom/a/KHEMyour hearingאֶת־דְּבַרet-de/VARthe word ofהָאֱמֶתha/e/METtruthאֶת־בְּשׂוֹרַתet-be/so/RATthe gospel ofיְשׁוּעַתְכֶםye/shu/at/KHEMyour salvationאֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whomבּוֹboin himגַּםgamalsoאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafter thatהַאֲמִינְכֶםha/a/mi/ne/KHEMyour believingנֶחְתַּמְתֶּםnech/tam/TEMyou were sealedבְּרוּחַbe/RU/achwith the Spirit ofהַהַבְטָחָהha/hav/ta/CHAthe promiseרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃RU/ach-Hak/KO/deshthe Holy Spirit

    In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהוּאhuisעֵרְבוֹןer/VONthe pledge ofנַחֲלָתֵנוּna/cha/la/TE/nuour inheritanceעַדaduntilפְּדוּתpe/DUTredemptionהַסְּגֻלָּהhas/se/gul/LAthe treasured possessionלִתְהִלַּתlit/hil/LATto the praise ofכְּבוֹדוֹ׃ke/vo/DOHis glory

    Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeגַּם־אָנֹכִיgam-a/no/KHII alsoאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterשׇׁמְעִיshom/II heard ofאֱמוּנַתְכֶםe/mu/nat/KHEMyour faithבָּאָדוֹןba/a/DONin the LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוְאַהֲבַתְכֶםve/a/ha/vat/KHEMand your loveאֶל־כׇּל־הַקְּדוֹשִׁים׃el-kol-hak/ke/do/SHIMto all the saints

    Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

16. 16

    לֹאlonotאֶחְדַּלech/DALI ceaseמֵהוֹדוֹתme/ho/DOTfrom giving thanksבַּעֲבוּרְכֶםba/a/vur/KHEMfor youבְּהַזְכִּירִיbe/haz/ki/RIwhen I mentionאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouבִּתְפִלֹּתַי׃bit/fil/lo/TAYin my prayers

    Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

17. 17

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe MessiahאֲבִיA/VIthe Father ofהַכָּבוֹדhak/ka/VODgloryיִתֵּןyit/TENmay giveלָכֶםla/KHEMto youרוּחַRU/achthe spirit ofחׇכְמָהchokh/MAwisdomוְחָזוֹןve/cha/ZONand a visionלָדַעַתla/DA/atto knowאֹתוֹ׃o/TOHim

    That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

    וּבְאוֹרu/ve/ORand with the light ofעֵינֵיe/NEthe eyes ofשִׂכְלְכֶםsikh/le/KHEMyour mindלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatתֵּדְעוּted/Uyou may knowמַה־הִיאma-hiwhat isתִּקְוַתtik/VATthe hope ofקְרִיאָתוֹke/ri/a/TOHis callingוּמַהu/MAand whatעֹשֶׁרO/sherthe riches ofכְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory ofנַחֲלָתוֹna/cha/la/TOHis inheritanceבַּקְּדֹשִׁים׃bak/ke/do/SHIMamong the saints

    The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

    וּמַה־יִּתְרוֹןu/MA-yit/RONand what the surpassingגְּדֻלַּתge/dul/LATgreatness ofגְּבוּרָתוֹge/vu/ra/TOHis powerאֵלֵינוּe/LE/nuto usהַמַּאֲמִינִיםham/ma/a/mi/NIMwho believeכְּפִיke/FIaccording toפְעֻלַּתfe/ul/LATthe working ofעֹצֶםO/tsemthe might ofכֹּחוֹ׃ko/CHOHis strength

    And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatפָּעַלpa/ALHe workedבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahבְּהָעִירbe/ha/IRwhen He raisedאֹתוֹo/TOhimמִן־הַמֵּתִיםmin-ham/me/TIMfrom the deadוַיּוֹשִׁיבֶנּוּvay/yo/shi/ven/NUand seated himלִימִינוֹli/mi/NOat His right handבַּמְּרוֹמִים׃bam/me/ro/MIMin the heights

    Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21. 21

    מִמַּעַלmim/MA/alfar aboveלְכׇל־מִשְׂרָהle/KHOL-mis/RAall ruleוְשִׁלְטוֹןve/shil/TONand authorityוּגְבוּרָהu/ge/vu/RAand powerוּמֶמְשָׁלָהu/mem/sha/LAand dominionוְכׇל־שֵׁםve/KHOL-shemand every nameאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנִקְרָאnik/RAis namedלֹאlonotלְבַדle/VADonlyבָּעוֹלָםba/o/LAMin the worldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisכִּיkibutאִם־גַּםim-gamrather alsoבָּעוֹלָםba/o/LAMin the worldהַבָּא׃hab/BAto come

    Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22. 22

    וַיָּשֶׁתvay/YA/shetand He putכֹּלkolallתַּחַתTA/chatunderרַגְלָיוrag/LAYVhis feetוַיִּתֵּןvay/yit/TENand gaveאֹתוֹo/TOhimלְרֹאשׁle/ROSHas headלְכֹלle/KHOLover allלַקְּהִלָּה׃lak/ke/hil/LAto the church

    And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23. 23

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהִיאhiisגּוּפוֹgu/FOhis bodyמְלֹאme/LOthe fullness ofהַמְמַלֵּאHam/mal/LEthe One who fillsאֶת־הַכֹּלet-hak/KOLallבַּכֹּל׃bak/KOLin all

    Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
