   פּוֹלוֹסPaulשְׁלִיחַan-apostle-ofיֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahבִּרְצוֹןin-the-will-ofאֱלֹהִיםGodאֶל־הַקְּדוֹשִׁיםto-the-saintsהַנִּמְצְאִיםthe-who-were foundבְּאֶפְסוֹסin-Ephesusוּמַאֲמִינִיםand-believingבַּמָּשִׁיחַin-the-Messiahיֵשׁוּעַ׃Jesus

   Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

   חֶסֶדgraceלָכֶםto-youוְשָׁלוֹםand-peaceמֵאֵתfromהָאֱלֹהִיםthe-Godאָבִינוּour-fatherוַאֲדֹנֵינוּand-lord-ourיֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃the-Messiah

   Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

   בָּרוּךְblessedהָאֱלֹהִיםthe-Godוַאֲבִיand-the father ofאֲדֹנֵינוּour-LordיֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahאֲשֶׁרwhichבֵּרְכָנוּhath-blessed-usבְּכׇל־בִּרְכַּתin-all-blessing-ofרוּחַthe-Spirit-ofבַּמְּרוֹמִיםin-the-heightsבַּמָּשִׁיחַ׃in-the-Messiah

   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

   כַּאֲשֶׁרAccording-asבָּחַרchoseאֹתָנוּusבוֹin-himלִפְנֵיbeforeמוֹסְדוֹתthe-foundation-ofתֵּבֵלthe-worldלִהְיוֹתto-beקְדשִׁיםsaintsוּתְמִימִיםand-blamelessלְפָנָיוbefore-himבְּאַהֲבָה׃in-love

   According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

   יְעָדָנוּHe-predestined-usלוֹhimלְבָנִיםas-sonsעַל־יְדֵיby-means-ofיֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahכִּרְצוֹןaccording-to-the-good-pleasure-ofחֶפְצוֹ׃His-will

   Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

   לִתְהִלַּתto-praise-ofכְּבוֹדthe-glory-ofחַסְדּוֹHis-graceאֲשֶׁר־חָנַןwhose-was-graciousאֹתָנוּusבִּידִידוֹ׃in-his-Beloved

   To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

   אֲשֶׁר־בּוֹby-whichלָנוּusהַפִּדְיוֹםthe-redemptionבְּדָמוֹin-His-bloodוּסְלִיחַתand-a-remission-ofהַפְּשָׁעִיםthe-transgressionsכְּרֹבaccording-to-the-multitude-ofחַסְדּוֹ׃His-grace

   In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

   אֲשֶׁרwhichבָּאcameעָלֵינוּover-usבְּשֶׁפַע־חׇכְמָהin-abundance-of-wisdomוְהַשְׂכֵּל׃and-insight

   Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

9. 9

   וְהוֹדִיעַand-made-knownאֹתָנוּusאֶת־סוֹדthe-mystery-ofחֶפְצוֹHis-pleasureכִּרְצוֹנוֹaccording-to-His-willוַעֲצָתוֹand-His-counselמֵרֹאשׁfrom-the-beginningאֲשֶׁרwhichיָעַץhe-purposedבּוֹ׃in-him

   Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

    עַל־דְּבַרupon-the-word-ofהַנְהָגָתוֹHis-stewardshipבִּמְלֹאתin-the-fullness-ofהַיָּמִיםthe-daysלְקַבֵּלto-receiveאֶת־הַכֹּלallבַּמָּשִׁיחַin-the-Messiahמַה־שֶּׁבַּשָּׁמַיִםwhat-who-is-in-heavenוּמַה־שֶּׁבָּאָרֶץ׃and-what-that-is-on-earth

    That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

    וּבוֹand-in-Himלָקַחְנוּwe-obtainedנַחֲלָתֵנוּour-inheritanceאֲנַחְנוּweהַמְיֻעָדִיםthe-appointed(pl)לָהּthereuntoמִלְּפָנִיםfrom-beforeבְּמַחֲשֶׁבֶתin-the-purpose-ofפֹּעֵלworkethהַכֹּלallכַּעֲצַתaccording to-the counsel ofחֶפְצוֹ׃His-pleasure

    In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

    לִהְיוֹתto-beלִתְהִלַּתto-praise-ofכְּבוֹדוֹHis-gloryאֲנַחְנוּweאֲשֶׁרwhichיִחַלְנוּwe-trustedאֶל־הַמָּשִׁיחַin-the-Messiahמֵאָז׃beforehand

    That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13. 13

    וַאֲשֶׁרand-whomגַּם־אַתֶּםalso-youשְׁתוּלִיםthey are plantedבּוֹin-himאַחֲרֵיafterשָׁמְעֲכֶםheard-you(pl)דְּבַרthe-word-ofהָאֱמֶתtruthאֶת־בְּשׂוֹרַתthe-gospel-ofיְשׁוּעַתְכֶםyour-salvationוַאֲשֶׁרand-whomבּוֹin-himכְּשֶׁהֶאֱמַנְתֶּםas-that-you-believedגַּם־נֶחְתַּמְתֶּםalso-you-were-sealedבְּרוּחַwith-the-Spirit-ofהַהַבְטָחָהpromiseרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃the Holy Spirit

    In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

    כִּיbecauseזֶהthisעֶרְבוֹןthe-earnest-ofנַחֲלָתֵנוּour-inheritanceלִפְדּוֹת־לוֹto-redeem-for-himselfעַםpeopleסְגֻלָּהchoiceלִתְהִלַּתto-praise-ofכְּבוֹדוֹ׃His-glory

    Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

15. 15

    בַּעֲבוּרbecause-ofזֹאתthisגַּם־אָנֹכִיalso-IאַחֲרֵיafterשָׁמְעִיI-heardאֱמוּנַתְכֶםyour-faithבַּאֲדֹנֵינוּin-our-LordיֵשׁוּעַJesusוְהָאַהֲבָהand-the-loveאֲשֶׁר־אֲהַבְתֶּםwhich-you-loveאֶת־כׇּל־הַקְּדוֹשִׁים׃all-the-saints

    Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

16. 16

    לֹאnotאֶחְדַּלI-shall-ceaseמֵהוֹדוֹתfrom-thanksgivingsבַּעֲבוּרְכֶםfor-your-sakesבְּהַזְכִּירִיin-my-rememberingאֶתְכֶםyouבִּתְפִלּתַי׃in-my-prayer

    Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

17. 17

    שֶׁיִּתֵּןthat-He-may-giveלָכֶםto-youאֱלֹהֵיthe-God-ofאֲדֹנֵינוּour-LordיֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahאֲבִיthe-Father-ofהַכָּבוֹדgloryאֶת־רוּחַthe-Spirit-ofהַחׇכְמָהthe-wisdomוְהֶחָזוֹןand-revelationלָדַעַתto-knowאֹתוֹ׃him

    That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

18. 18

    וְיָאֵרand-may-He-enlightenעֵינֵיthe-eyes-ofלְבַבְכֶםyour-heartsלְמַעַןin-order-thatתֵּדְעוּyou-may-knowמַה־הִיאwhat-it-isתּוֹחֶלֶתthe hope ofקְרִיאָתוֹhis-callingוּמָה־עשֶׁרand-what-richesכְּבוֹדthe-glory-ofנַחֲלָתוֹinheritance-of-hisבַּקְּדשִׁים׃among-the-saints

    The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19. 19

    וּמַה־יִּתְרוֹןand-what-the-surpassingגְּדֻלַּתthe-greatness-ofגְּבוּרָתוֹhis-powerבָּנוּin-usהַמַּאֲמִינִיםthe-believersכְּפִיaccording-toפְעֻלַּתthe-working-ofעֹצֶםthe might ofכֹּחוֹ׃His-power

    And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20. 20

    אֲשֶׁרwhichפָּעַלit-wroughtבַּמָּשִׁיחַin-the-Messiahבְּהָעִירwhen-He-raisedאֹתוֹhimמִן־הַמֵּתִיםfrom-the-deadוַיּוֹשִׁיבֶנּוּand-seated-himלִימִינוֹto-right hand-hisבַּמְּרוֹמִים׃in-the-heights

    Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21. 21

    מִמַּעַלaboveלְכׇל־שְׂרָרָהto-all-authorityוְשׇׁלְטָןand-dominionוּגְבוּרָהand-mightוּמֶמְשָׁלָהand-dominionוְכֹלand-the-wholeהַנִּקְרָאthat-is-namedבְשֵׁםin-the-name-ofלֹא־בָעוֹלָםnot-in-the-worldהַזֶּהthisבִּלְבַדin-aloneכִּיbecauseאִם־גַּםif-alsoבָּעוֹלָםin-the-worldהַבָּא׃that-comes

    Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22. 22

    וַיָּשֶׁתand-putכֹּלallתַּחַתunderרַגְלָיוHis-feetוַיִּתֵּןand-gaveאֹתוֹhimלְרֹאשׁthe-head-ofלְכֹלfor-allאֶל־הָעֵדָה׃unto-the-church

    And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23. 23

    אֲשֶׁרwhichהִיאsheגּוּפוֹhis-bodyמְלוֹאthe-fullness-ofשֶׁל־הַמְמַלֵּאof-the-one-fillingאֶת־הַכֹּלallבַּכֹּל׃in-all

    Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
