אַתֶּםyou-areהָאֲדֹנִיםthe-lordsתְּנוּgive!לְעַבְדֵיכֶםto-your-servantsהַיָּשָׁרthe-straightוְהַשָּׁוֶהand-the-equalוּדְעוּand-knowכִּיbecauseגַם־אַתֶּםalso-youיֵשׁ־לָכֶםthere-is-to-youאָדוֹןa-Masterבַּשָּׁמָיִם׃in-heaven
Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.

הַתְמִידוּcontinueבַּתְּפִלָּהin-the-prayerוְשִׁקְדוּ־בָהּand-watch-in-herבְּתוֹדָה׃with-thanksgiving
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

וְהִתְפַּלֲלוּprayingגַם־בַּעֲדֵנוּalso-for-usלְמַעַןin-order-thatיִפְתַּח־לָנוּwould-open-to-usהָאֱלֹהִיםthe-Godאֶת־שַׁעַרa-door-ofהַדִּבּוּרutteranceלְחַוֹּתto-speakאֶת־סוֹדthe-mystery-ofהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahאֲשֶׁרwhichבַּעֲבוּרוֹbecause-of-himאָסוּרin-bondsאָנֹכִי׃I
Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

לְמַעַןin-order-thatאֲשֶׁר־אֲגַלֶּהthat-I-may-make-manifestאֹתוֹitכַּמִּשְׁפָּטas-it-behovethעָלַיmeלְחַוֹּת׃to-declare
That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

הִתְנַהֲגוּconduct-yourselvesבְחׇכְמָהwith-wisdomעִם־אֹתָםtoward-themשֶׁבַּחוּץthat-are-withoutוְהוֹקִירוּredeemingאֶת־הַשָּׁעָה׃the-time
Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

דִּבְרֵיכֶםyour-wordsיִהְיוּshall-beנְעִימִיםwith-graceבְּכׇל־עֵתalwaysוּמְמֻלָּחִיםseasonedבַּמֶּלַחwith-the-saltלְמַעַןin-order-thatתֵּדְעוּyou-may-knowלְהָשִׁיבhow-to-answerדָּבָרa-wordלְכׇל־אָדָם׃unto-all-men
Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

עַל־אֹדוֹתַיconcerning-meיְסַפֵּרshall-declareלָכֶםto-youהַכֹּלall-thingsטוּכִיקוֹסTychicusהָאָחthe-brotherהֶחָבִיבthe-belovedוְהַמְשָׁרֵתand-the-ministerהַנֶּאֱמָןthe-faithfulוְעֶבֶדand-the-servant-ofעֲמִיתִיmy-fellowservantבָּאָדוֹן׃in-the-Lord
All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:

אֲשֶׁרwhichלָזֹאתto-thisשְׁלַחְתִּיהוּI-sent-himאֲלֵיכֶםunto-youלְמַעַןin-order-thatיֵדַעhe-might-knowאֶת־דִּבְרֵיכֶםyour-estateוִינַחֵםand-might-comfortאֶת־לְבַבְכֶם׃your-hearts
Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;

עִם־אוֹנִיסִימוֹסwith-Onesimusהָאָחthe-brotherהַנֶּאֱמָןthe-faithfulוְהֶחָבִיבand-the-belovedאֲשֶׁר־הוּאwhose-it-isמִכֶּםfrom-youהֵמָּהtheyיוֹדִיעוּthey-shall-make-knownאֶתְכֶםyouאֶת־כׇּל־דְּבָרֵינוּall-our-wordsפֹּה׃here
With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.

אֲרִסְטַרְכוֹסAristarchusהֶעָצוּרthe-prisonerעִמִּיwith-meיַחַדtogetherשֹׁאֵלsalutethלִשְׁלוֹמְכֶםfor-your-peaceוּמַרְקוֹסand-Markבֶּן־אֲחוֹתson-of-the sister ofבַּר־נַבָּאBarnabasאֲשֶׁרwhichצֻוֵּיתֶםyou commandedעָלָיוupon-himאִם־יָבוֹאif-comesאֲלֵיכֶםunto-youתְּקַבְּלֻהוּ׃receive-him
Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)

וְיֵשׁוּעַand-Jesusהַנִּקְרָאwho-is-calledיוּסְטוֹסJustusאֲשֶׁרwhichהֵםtheyמִן־הַמּוּלִיםof-the-circumcisionהֵמָּהtheyלְבַדָּםonlyמִן־הָעֹזְרִיםare-fellowworkersלְמַלְכוּתof-reign-ofהָאֱלֹהִיםthe-Godהָיוּ־לִיwere-to-meלְנֶחָמָה׃a-comfort
And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.

אֶפַּפְרָסEpaphrasאֲשֶׁר־הוּאwhose-it-isמִכֶּםfrom-youשֹׁאֵלsalutethלִשְׁלוֹמְכֶםfor-your-peaceעֶבֶדthe-servant-ofהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahהַמִּתְגּוֹשֵׁשׁlaboring-ferventlyבַּעַדְכֶםfor-youבִּתְפִלּתָיוin-prayersבְּכׇל־עֵתwith-all-timeלְמַעַןin-order-thatתַּעַמְדוּyou-may-standשְׁלֵמִיםperfectוּמְלֵאִיםand-completeדַּעַתinלְכׇל־חֵפֶץall-the-will-ofאֱלֹהִים׃God
Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

כִּיbecauseמֵעִידI-bear-recordאֲנִיIעָלָיוupon-himכִּיbecauseקִנְאָהzealגְדוֹלָהgreatהוּאhe-hathמְקַנֵּאzealousלָכֶםto-youוּלְאַנְשֵׁיand-the-men-ofלוּדְקְיָאLaodiceaוּלְאַנְשֵׁיand-the-men-ofהִירַפּוֹלִיס׃Hierapolis
For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.

לוּקָסLukeהָרוֹפֵאthe-physicianהֶחָבִיבthe-belovedוְדִימָסand-Demasשֹׁאֲלִיםaskingלִשְׁלוֹמְכֶם׃for-your-peace
Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.

שַׁאֲלוּgreetלִשְׁלוֹםfor-the-welfare-ofהָאַחִיםthe-brethrenאֲשֶׁרwhichבְּלוּדְקְיָאin-Laodiceaוְלִשְׁלוֹםand-to-the welfare ofנוּמְפָסNymphasוְהַקְּהִלָּהand-the-churchאֲשֶׁרwhichבְּבֵיתוֹ׃in-his-house
Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.

וְאַחֲרֵיand-afterאֲשֶׁרwhichנִקְרְאָהis-readהָאִגֶּרֶתthe-epistleהַזֹּאתthisאֶצְלְכֶםwith-youרְאוּbeholdשֶׁתִּקָּרֵאthat-it-be-readגַּם־בִּקְהַלalso-in-the assembly ofלוּדְקִיִּיםLaodiceansוְאֶת־אֲשֶׁרand-whoseלְלוּדְקְיָאto-Laodiceaתִּקְרָאוּהָreadגַּם־אַתֶּם׃also-you
And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.

וְאִמְרוּand-sayאֶל־אַרְכִפּוֹסto-Archippusשִׁיתtake-heed-toלִבְּךָyour-heartלָעֲבוֹדָהto-the-ministryאֲשֶׁרwhichקִבַּלְתָּהּyou-receivedבָּאָדוֹןin-the-Lordלְמַעַןin-order-thatתְּמַלְאֶנָּה׃you-fulfil-it
And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

שֹׁאֵלsalutethלִשְׁלוֹמְכֶםfor-your-peaceבִּכְתָבin-writingיָדִיmy-handאֲנִיIפוֹלוֹסPaulזִכְרוּrememberאֶת־מוֹסֵרָיmy-bondsהַחֶסֶדgraceעִמָּכֶםwith-youאָמֵן׃amen
The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.
