1. 1

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאִם־קַמְתֶּםim-kam/TEMif you have risenעִם־הַמָּשִׁיחַim-Ham/ma/SHI/achwith the Messiahבַּקְּשׁוּbak/ke/SHUseekאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhat isלְמַעְלָהle/MA/laaboveאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahיֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVsitsשָׁםshamthereלִימִיןli/MINat the right hand ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

   If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

   רְצוּre/TSUset your desireבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERon whatלְמַעְלָהle/MA/laaboveוְלֹאve/LOnotבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERon whatעַל־הָאָרֶץ׃al-ha/A/retson the earth

   Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3. 3

   כִּי־מַתֶּםki-mat/TEMfor you diedוְחַיֵּיכֶםve/chay/ye/KHEMand your lifeצְפוּנִיםtse/fu/NIMis hiddenעִם־הַמָּשִׁיחַim-Ham/ma/SHI/achwith the Messiahבֵּאלֹהִים׃be/lo/HIMin God

   For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4. 4

   כַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenיֵרָאֶהye/ra/Ewill appearהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהוּאhuisחַיֵּינוּchay/YE/nuour lifeאָזazthenגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMyou alsoתֵּרָאוּte/ra/Uyou will appearעִמּוֹim/MOwith himבְּכָבוֹד׃be/kha/VODin glory

   When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeהָמִיתוּha/mi/TUput to deathאֶת־אֵבָרֵיכֶםet-e/va/re/KHEMyour membersאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsupon the earthזְנוּתze/NUTfornicationטֻמְאָהtum/Auncleannessעֲגָבָהa/ga/VAlustתַּאֲוָהta/a/VAdesireרָעָהra/Aevilוּבֶצַעu/VE/tsaand greedאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהוּאhuisעֲבֹדַתa/vo/DATthe worship ofאֱלִילִים׃e/li/LIMidols

   Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

   כִּיkiforבִגְלַל־אֵלֶּהvig/LAL-EL/lebecause of theseחֲרוֹןcha/RONthe wrath ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodיָבֹאya/VOcomesעַל־בְּנֵיal-be/NEon the sons ofהַמֶּרִי׃ham/ME/rirebellion

   For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

7. 7

   אֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whichגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMyou alsoהִתְהַלַּכְתֶּםhit/hal/lakh/TEMyou walkedבָּהֶםba/HEMin themמִלְּפָנִיםmil/le/fa/NIMformerlyבִּהְיוֹתְכֶםbih/yot/KHEMwhen you wereחַיִּיםchay/YIMlivingבָּהֶם׃ba/HEMin them

   In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

8. 8

   וְעַתָּהve/at/TAbut nowהָסִירוּha/SI/ruput offגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMyou alsoאֶת־כׇּל־אֵלֶּהet-kol-EL/leall theseאַףafangerוְחֵמָהve/che/MAand wrathרָעָהra/Aevilגִּדּוּףgid/DUFblasphemyוְדִבְרֵיve/div/REand words ofנְבָלָהne/va/LAobscenityמִפִּיכֶם׃mip/pi/KHEMfrom your mouth

   But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

   וְאַל־תְּשַׁקְּרוּve/AL-te/shak/ke/RUand do not lieאִישׁisheachבַּעֲמִיתוֹba/a/mi/TOto his fellowאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REsinceאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatפְּשַׁטְתֶּםpe/shat/TEMyou have stripped offאֶת־הָאָדָםet-ha/a/DAMthe manהַיָּשָׁןhay/ya/SHANoldוּפְעֻלּוֹתָיו׃u/fe/ul/lo/TAYVand his deeds

   Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

    וּלְבַשְׁתֶּםu/le/vash/TEMand have put onאֶת־הָאָדָםet-ha/a/DAMthe manהֶחָדָשׁhe/cha/DASHnewהַמִּתְחַדֵּשׁham/mit/chad/DESHthat is being renewedבַּדַּעַתbad/DA/atin knowledgeכְּצֶלֶםke/TSE/lemafter the image ofבֹּרְאוֹ׃Bor/Ohis Creator

    And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

11. 11

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereאֵין־שָׁםen-shamthere is not thereיְוָנִיYe/va/NIGreekוִיהוּדִיVi/hu/DIand Jewמִילָהmi/LAcircumcisionוְעׇרְלָהve/or/LAand uncircumcisionלֹעֵזlo/EZforeignerסְקוּתִיSe/ku/TIScythianעֶבֶדE/vedslaveוְחׇפְשִׁיve/chof/SHIand freeכִּיkibutהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahהוּאhuisהַכֹּלhak/KOLallוּבַכֹּל׃u/vak/KOLand in all

    Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeלִבְשׁוּliv/SHUput onכִּבְחִירֵיkiv/chi/REas the chosen ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodקְדֹשִׁיםke/do/SHIMholyוִידִידִיםvi/di/DIMand belovedמְעֵיme/Ethe inward parts ofרַחֲמִיםra/cha/MIMmerciesטוֹבָהto/VAgoodnessשִׁפְלוּתshif/LUTlowliness ofרוּחַRU/achspiritעֲנָוָהa/na/VAmeeknessאֹרֶךְO/rekhlength ofאַפַּיִם׃ap/PA/yimanger

    Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

13. 13

    נֹשְׂאִיםnos/IMbearing withאִישׁisheachאֶת־רֵעֵהוּet-re/E/huhis neighborוְסֹלְחִיםve/sol/CHIMand forgivingאִישׁisheachלְרֵעֵהוּle/re/E/huto his neighborאִם־יֵשׁim-yeshif there isלְאִישׁle/ISHany manרִיבriva complaintעִם־אִישׁim-ishwith a manכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahסָלַחsa/LACHforgaveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouכֵּןkensoגַּם־אַתֶּם׃gam-at/TEMyou also

    Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

14. 14

    וּמֵעַלu/me/ALand aboveכׇּל־אֵלֶּהkol-EL/leall these thingsלִבְשׁוּliv/SHUput onאֶת־הַחֶסֶדet-ha/CHE/sedcharityאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהוּאhuisאֲגֻדַּתa/gud/DATthe bond ofהַשְּׁלֵמוּת׃hash/she/le/MUTcompleteness

    And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

15. 15

    וּשְׁלוֹםu/she/LOMand the peace ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodיִשְׁלַטyish/LATlet ruleבִּלְבַבְכֶםbil/vav/KHEMin your heartsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERto whichגַּםgamalsoנִקְרֵאתֶםnik/re/TEMyou were calledלוֹloto itבְּגוּףbe/GUFin a bodyאֶחָדe/CHADoneוִהְיוּvih/YUand beמוֹדִים׃mo/DIMgive thanks

    And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

    Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

17. 17

    וְכֹלve/KHOLand allאֲשֶׁר־תַּעֲשׂוּa/SHER-ta/a/SUthat you doבְּדָבָרbe/da/VARin a wordאוֹoorבְמַעֲשֶׂהve/ma/a/SEin deedעֲשׂוּa/SUdoהַכֹּלhak/KOLallבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוּמוֹדִיםu/mo/DIMand giving thanksלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godוְלָאָבve/La/AVand the Fatherעַל־יָדוֹ׃al-ya/DOthrough him

    And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

18. 18

    הַנָּשִׁיםhan/na/SHIMwivesהִכָּנַעְנָהhik/ka/na/NAsubmitלְבַעֲלֵיכֶןle/va/a/le/KHENto your husbandsכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasנָאוֶהna/VEis fittingבָּאָדוֹן׃ba/a/DONin the Lord

    Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

19. 19

    הָאֲנָשִׁיםha/a/na/SHIMhusbandsאֶהֱבוּe/he/VUloveאֶת־נְשֵׁיכֶםet-ne/she/KHEMyour wivesוְאַל־תִּתְמַרְמְרוּve/AL-tit/mar/me/RUand do not be bitterאֲלֵיהֶן׃a/le/HENtoward them

    Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

20. 20

    הַבָּנִיםhab/ba/NIMchildrenשִׁמְעוּshim/Ulistenלְהוֹרֵיכֶםle/ho/re/KHEMyour parentsבְּכׇל־דָּבָרbe/KHOL-da/VARin everythingכִּיkiforזֶהzethisעָרֵבa/REVpleasingלָאָדוֹן׃la/a/DONto the Lord

    Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

21. 21

    הָאָבוֹתha/a/VOTfathersאַל־תַּכְעִיסוּal-takh/i/SUdo not provokeאֶת־בְּנֵיכֶםet-be/ne/KHEMyour childrenפֶּן־תִּקְצַרpen-tik/TSARlest grow shortנַפְשָׁם׃naf/SHAMtheir soul

    Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

22. 22

    הָעֲבָדִיםha/a/va/DIMslavesשִׁמְעוּshim/Ulistenבְּכׇל־דָּבָרbe/KHOL-da/VARin all thingsלַאֲדֹנֵיכֶםla/a/do/ne/KHEMto your mastersלְפִיle/FIaccording toהַבָּשָׂרhab/ba/SARthe fleshלֹאlonotבַעֲבֹדָהva/a/vo/DAwith serviceלְמַרְאֵהle/mar/Efor the sight ofעֵינַיִםe/NA/yimeyesכִּמְבַקְשִׁיםkim/vak/SHIMas those seekingלִמְצֹאlim/TSOto findחֵןchenfavorבְּעֵינֵיbe/e/NEin the eyes ofבְנֵי־אָדָםve/NE-a/DAMthe sons of menכִּיkibutאִם־בְּתׇםim-be/TOMrather in integrity ofלֵבָבle/VAVheartיְרֵאִיםye/re/IMfearingאֶת־הָאֱלֹהִים׃et-ha/e/lo/HIMGod

    Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:

23. 23

    וְכֹלve/KHOLand allאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתַּעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou doעֲשׂוּa/SUdoבְּכׇל־נַפְשְׁכֶםbe/KHOL-naf/she/KHEMwith all your soulכְּמוֹke/MOasלָאָדוֹןla/a/DONto the Lordוְלֹאve/LOand notלִבְנֵיliv/NEto the sons ofאָדָם׃a/DAMmen

    And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

24. 24

    וְיֹדְעִיםve/yod/IMknowingכִּיkithatמֵאֵתme/ETfromהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordתִּקְחוּtik/CHUyou shall receiveאֶת־גְּמוּלet-ge/MULthe reward ofהַנַּחֲלָהhan/na/cha/LAthe inheritanceכִּיkiforאֶת־הָאָדוֹןet-ha/a/DONthe Lordהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאַתֶּםat/TEMyouעֹבְדִים׃ov/DIMserve

    Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

25. 25

    וְהָעֹשֶׂהve/ha/o/SEand the one who doesעָוֶלA/velwrongיִקַּחyik/KACHshall receiveאֶת־הָעָוֶלet-ha/A/velthe wrongאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעָשָׂהa/SAhe didוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noמַשֹּׂאmas/SOlifting ofפָנִים׃fa/NIMfaces

    But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
