   To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

   We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

   Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

   For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

   As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

   וְהוּאve/HUand heגַּם־הוֹדִיעַgam-ho/DI/aalso made knownאֹתָנוּo/TA/nuto usאֶת־אַהֲבַתְכֶםet-a/ha/vat/KHEMyour loveבָּרוּחַ׃ba/RU/achin the Spirit

   Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

   בַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURbecause ofזֹאתzotthisגַּם־אֲנַחְנוּgam-a/NACH/nuwe alsoלְמִן־הַיּוֹםle/MIN-hay/YOMfrom the dayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatשָׁמַעְנוּsha/MA/nuwe heardלֹאlonotחָדַלְנוּcha/DAL/nuhave we ceasedלְהִתְפַּלֵּלle/hit/pal/LELto prayבַּעַדְכֶםba/ad/KHEMfor youוּלְבַקֵּשׁu/le/vak/KESHand to askכִּיkithatתִמָּלְאוּtim/ma/le/Uyou may be filled withדַּעַתDA/atthe knowledge ofרְצוֹנוֹre/tso/NOHis willבְּכׇל־חׇכְמָהbe/KHOL-chokh/MAin all wisdomוּבִינַתu/vi/NATand the understanding ofהָרוּחַ׃ha/RU/achthe Spirit

   For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

    That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

    לְהִתְחַזֵּקle/hit/chaz/ZEKto be strengthenedבְּכׇל־כֹּחַbe/KHOL-KO/achwith all strengthכְּעֹזke/OZaccording to the strength ofכְּבוֹדוֹke/vo/DOHis gloryלְכׇל־אֹרֶךְle/KHOL-O/rekhfor all length ofרוּחַRU/achspiritוְאֹרֶךְve/O/rekhand length ofאַפַּיִםap/PA/yimangerבְּשִׂמְחָה׃be/sim/CHAwith joy

    Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

    וּמוֹדִיםu/mo/DIMand giving thanksלָאָבla/AVto the Fatherאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהִכְשִׁירָנוּhikh/shi/ra/NUhas made us fitלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beלָנוּLA/nuto usחֵלֶקCHE/leka shareבְּנַחֲלַתbe/na/cha/LATin the inheritance ofהַקְּדוֹשִׁיםhak/ke/do/SHIMthe saintsבָּאוֹר׃ba/ORin the light

    Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13. 13

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoחִלְּצָנוּchil/le/tsa/NUrescued usמִשִּׁלְטוֹןmish/shil/TONfrom the power ofהַחֹשֶׁךְha/CHO/shekhdarknessוְהֶעֱבִירָנוּve/he/e/vi/ra/NUand brought us overלְמַלְכוּתle/mal/KHUTinto the kingdom ofבְּנוֹbe/NOHis Sonהַיַּקִּיר׃hay/yak/KIRprecious

    Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14. 14

    אֲשֶׁר־בּוֹa/SHER-boin whomלָנוּLA/nuwe haveהַפְּדוּתhap/pe/DUTthe redemptionבְּדָמוֹbe/da/MOby his bloodסְלִיחַתse/li/CHATthe forgiveness ofהַחֲטָאִים׃ha/cha/ta/IMsins

    In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15. 15

    וְהוּאve/HUand he isצֶלֶםTSE/lemthe image ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלֹאlonotיֵרָאֶהye/ra/Eis seenבְּכוֹרbe/KHORthe firstborn ofכׇּל־בְּרִיָּה׃kol-be/riy/YAevery creature

    Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16. 16

    כִּיkiforבוֹvoin himנִבְרָאniv/RAwere createdהַכֹּלhak/KOLallאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isבַּשָּׁמַיִםbash/sha/MA/yimin heavenוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand that isבָּאָרֶץba/A/retson earthהַנִּרְאֶהhan/nir/Ethat is seenוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERandלֹאlonotיֵרָאֶהye/ra/Eis seenאִםimwhetherכִּסְאוֹתkis/OTthronesאִםimorמֶמְשָׁלוֹתmem/sha/LOTdominionsאִםimorשָׂרִיםsa/RIMprincesאִםimorשַׁלִּיטִיםshal/li/TIMrulersהַכֹּלhak/KOLall thingsנִבְרָאniv/RAwere createdעַל־יָדוֹal-ya/DOthrough himוּלְמַעֲנֵהוּ׃u/le/ma/a/ne/HUand for him

    For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17. 17

    וְהוּאve/HUand he isלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַכֹּלhak/KOLallוְהַכֹּלve/hak/KOLand allעֹמֵדo/MEDholds togetherבּוֹ׃boin him

    And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18. 18

    וְהוּאve/HUand he isרֹאשׁroshthe head ofהַגּוּףhag/GUFthe bodyהַקְּהִלָּהhak/ke/hil/LAthe churchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהוּאhuisרֵאשִׁיתre/SHITthe beginningוּבְכוֹרu/ve/KHORand the firstbornמִןminfromהַמֵּתִיםham/me/TIMthe deadלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִהְיֶהyih/YEhe may beהָרִאשׁוֹןha/ri/SHONfirstבַּכֹּל׃bak/KOLin all

    And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19. 19

    כִּיkiforהוֹאִילho/ILit pleasedהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherלְשַׁכֵּןle/shak/KENto make dwellבּוֹboin himאֶת־כׇּל־הַמְּלוֹא׃et-kol-ham/me/LOall the fullness

    For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

20. 20

    וְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterעֲשׂוֹתוֹa/so/TOmakingשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceבְּדַםbe/DAMthrough the blood ofצְלוּבוֹtse/lu/VOhis crossלְרַצּוֹתle/rats/TSOTto reconcileעַל־יָדוֹal-ya/DOthrough himאֶת־הַכֹּלet-hak/KOLallאֵלָיוe/LAYVto Himselfעַל־יָדוֹal-ya/DOthrough himאֹמַרo/MARI sayאִםimwhetherאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhat isבָּאָרֶץba/A/retson earthאִםimorאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhat isבַּשָּׁמָיִם׃bash/sha/MA/yimin heaven

    And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21. 21

    וְאֶתְכֶםve/et/KHEMand youאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהֱיִיתֶםhe/yi/TEMwereמִלְּפָנִיםmil/le/fa/NIMformerlyמוּזָרִיםmu/za/RIMestrangedוְאֹיְבִיםve/oy/VIMand enemiesבְּמַחְשְׁבוֹתֵיכֶםbe/mach/she/vo/te/KHEMin your thoughtsבְּמַעֲשִׂיםbe/ma/a/SIMby worksרָעִיםra/IMevilוְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowרִצָּה׃rits/TSAHe has reconciled

    And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22. 22

    בְּגוּףbe/GUFin the body ofבְּשָׂרוֹbe/sa/ROhis fleshעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEthroughהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetdeathלְהַעֲמִידְכֶםle/ha/a/mi/de/KHEMto present youקְדֹשִׁיםke/do/SHIMholyוּתְמִימִיםu/te/mi/MIMand blamelessוּבְלִיu/ve/LIand withoutדֹפִיdo/FIblemishלְפָנָיו׃le/fa/NAYVbefore him

    In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

23. 23

    אִם־תַּעַמְדוּim-ta/am/DUif you standבָּאֱמוּנָהba/e/mu/NAin the faithמְיֻסָּדִיםme/yus/sa/DIMfoundedוּנְכוֹנִיםu/ne/kho/NIMand firmוְלֹאve/LOand notתִמּוֹטוּtim/mo/TUbe movedמִתִּקְוַתmit/tik/VATfrom the hope ofהַבְּשׂוֹרָהhab/be/so/RAthe gospelאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatשְׁמַעְתֶּםshe/ma/TEMyou heardוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand thatהֻגְּדָהhug/ge/DAwas proclaimedלְכׇל־בְּרִיָּהle/KHOL-be/riy/YAto every creatureאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isתַּחַתTA/chatunderהַשָּׁמָיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand of whichאֲנִיa/NIIפוֹלוֹסFo/LOSPaulהָיִיתִיha/YI/tibecameלָהּlaof itלִמְשָׁרֵת׃lim/sha/RETa minister

    If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

24. 24

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowשָׂמֵחַsa/ME/achrejoiceאֲנִיa/NIIבְּעִנּוּיַיbe/in/nu/YAYin my sufferingsבַּעַדְכֶםba/ad/KHEMfor youוּמְמַלֵּאu/me/mal/LEand I fillאֶת־חֶסְרוֹןet-ches/RONthe lack ofצָרוֹתtsa/ROTthe troubles ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahבִּבְשָׂרִיbiv/sa/RIin my fleshבְּעַדbe/ADforגּוּפוֹgu/FOhis bodyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהוּאhuisהַקְּהִלָּה׃hak/ke/hil/LAthe church

    Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

25. 25

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERof whichהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiI becameלָהּlafor itלִמְשָׁרֵתlim/sha/RETa ministerכְּפִי־פְקֻדַּתke/FI-fe/kud/DATaccording to the charge ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנִתְּנָה־לִּיnit/te/NA-liwas given to meעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMfor youלְמַלֹּאתle/mal/LOTto fulfillאֶת־דְּבַרet-de/VARthe word ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

    Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

26. 26

    אֶת־הַסּוֹדet-has/SODthe secretאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהָיָהha/YAwasנֶעְלָםne/LAMhiddenמֵעוֹלָמִיםme/o/la/MIMfrom the agesוּמִדּוֹרu/mid/DORand from generationוָדוֹרva/DORand generationוְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowנִגְלָהnig/LAwas revealedלִקְדוֹשָׁיו׃lik/do/SHAYVto His saints

    Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27. 27

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwho isחָפֵץcha/FETSdesiredהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodלְהוֹדִיעָםle/ho/di/AMto make knownאֵי־זֶהe-zewhatהוּאhuisעֹשֶׁרO/sherthe riches ofכְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory ofהַסּוֹדhas/SODthe secretהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisבַּגּוֹיִםbag/Go/YIMamong the Gentilesוְהוּאve/HUwhich isהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahבָּכֶםba/KHEMin youתִּקְוַתtik/VATthe hope ofהַכָּבוֹד׃hak/ka/VODglory

    To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

    Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERfor whichלָהּlato itגַּם־אָנֹכִיgam-a/no/KHII alsoעָמֵלa/MELlaborנִלְחָםnil/CHAMstrugglingכִּפְעֻלָּתוֹkif/ul/la/TOaccording to His workingהַפֹּעֶלֶתhap/po/E/letthat worksבִּיbiin meבִּגְבוּרָה׃big/vu/RAwith might

    Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
