    וְשָׁאוּלand-Shaulעוֹדֶנּוּwhile-he-stillיְפֵחַhe may breathe outזַעַםthe-wrath-ofוָרֶצַחand-murderעַל־תַּלְמִידֵיupon-disciples-ofהָאָדוֹןthe-Lordוַיָּבֹאand-cameאֶל־הַכֹּהֵןto-the-priestהַגָּדוֹל׃the-great

    And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

    וַיִּשְׁאַלand-askedמֵאִתּוֹfrom-himמִכְתָּבִיםwritersלְדַמֶּשֶׂקof-Damascusאֶל־בָּתֵּיto-in-twainכְנֵסִיּוֹתsynagoguesלְמַעַןin-order-thatאֲשֶׁרwhichיֶאֱסֹרhe harnessedאֶת־אֲשֶׁרthat-whichיִמְצָאshall-findאֹחֲזִיםhold(pl)בַּדֶּרֶךְin-the-wayהַהִיאthatאֲנָשִׁיםmenאוֹorנָשִׁיםwomenוִיבִיאֵםand-he-shall-bring-themיְרוּשָׁלָיִם׃Jerusalem

    And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

    וַיְהִיand-it-came-to-passהוּאheהֹלֵךְgoingוְקָרֵבand-approachingלְדַמֶּשֶׂקof-Damascusוְהִנֵּהand-beholdפִתְאֹםsuddenlyנָגַהּhas-shinedעָלָיוupon-himמִסָּבִיבall-aroundאוֹרlightמִן־הַשָּׁמָיִם׃from-heaven

    And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

    וַיִּפֹּלand-fellאָרְצָהto-the-earthוַיִּשְׁמַעand-hearkens-toקוֹלthe-voice-ofמִדַּבֵּרfrom-speakingאֵלָיוto-himשָׁאוּלSaulשָׁאוּלSaulלָמָּהwhyתִרְדְּפֵנִי׃are you persecuting-me

    And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

    וַיֹּאמֶרand-saidמִיwhoאַתָּהyouאֲדֹנִיmy-lordוַיֹּאמֶרand-saidהָאָדוֹןthe-LordאָנֹכִיIיֵשׁוּעַJesusאֲשֶׁרwhichאַתָּהyouרוֹדֵףpursuingקָשֶׁהaustereלְךָfor-youלִבְעֹטto-with-a stylus ofבַּדָּרְבֹנוֹת׃in-the-goads

    And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

    וְהוּאand-heחָרֵדtremblingוְנִבְעָתand-astonishedוַיֹּאמֶרand-saidאֲדֹנִיmy-lordמַה־תַּחְפֹּץwhat-do-you-desireוְאֶעֱשֶׂהand-doוַיַּעַןand-he-answeredהָאָדוֹןthe-Lordקוּםariseלֵךְgoהָעִירָהinto-the-cityוְיֵאָמֵרand-it-is-saidלְךָfor-youאֶת־אֲשֶׁרthat-whichעָלֶיךָupon-you(f)לַעֲשׂוֹת׃to-do

    And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

    וְהָאֲנָשִׁיםand-the-menאֲשֶׁרwhichהָלְכוּwentאִתּוֹwith-himעָמְדוּstoodנֶאֱלָמִיםspeechlessכִּיbecauseשָׁמְעוּthey-heardאֶת־הַקּוֹלthe-voiceוְאִישׁand-the-man-ofלֹאnotהִבִּיטוּ׃they-regarded

    And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

    וַיָּקׇםand-was-fulfilledשָׁאוּלSaulמִן־הָאָרֶץfrom-the-landוּבְפָתְחוֹand-at-the-entrance-of-hisאֶת־עֵינָיוhis-eyesלֹאnotרָאָהhe-sawאִישׁa-manוַיַּחֲזִיקוּand-caught-holdבְיָדוֹin-his-handוַיּוֹלִיכֻהוּand-they brought-himלְדַמָּשֶׂק׃of-Damascus

    And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

    וַתֶּחְשַׁכְנָהand-may they grow dimעֵינָיוtheir-eyesמֵרְאוֹתfrom-seeingשְׁלֹשֶׁתthirdיָמִיםdaysוְלֹאand-notאָכַלateוְלֹאand-notשָׁתָה׃he drank

    And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

    וְתַלְמִידand-pupilאֶחָדoneהָיָהwasבְדַמֶּשֶׂקin-DamascusחֲנַנְיָהHananiahשְׁמוֹhis-nameוַיֹּאמֶרand-saidאֵלָיוto-himהָאָדוֹןthe-Lordבַּמַּחֲזֶהin-the-visionחֲנַנְיָהHananiahוַיֹּאמֶרand-saidהִנְנִיbehold-Iאֲדֹנִי׃my-lord

    And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

    וַיֹּאמֶרand-saidאֵלָיוto-himהָאָדוֹןthe-Lordקוּםariseלֵךְgoאֶל־הָרְחוֹבto-the-open spaceהַנִּקְרָאthe-calledהַיָּשָׁרthe-straightוּשְׁאַלand-askבְּבֵיתin-the-house-ofיְהוּדָהJudasלְאִישׁfor-a-manטַרְסִיof-Tarsusוּשְׁמוֹand-his-nameשָׁאוּלSaulכִּיbecauseהִנֵּה־הוּאbehold-it-isמִתְפַּלֵּל׃pray

    And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

    וַיַּרְאand-sawבַּמַּחֲזֶהin-the-visionוְהִנֵּה־אִישׁand-behold-man-ofוּשְׁמוֹand-his-nameחֲנַנְיָהHananiahבָּאcameהַחַדְרָהthe-inner room-towardsוַיָּשֶׂםand-he-setעָלָיוupon-himאֶת־יָדוֹHis-handלְמַעַןin-order-thatיָשׁוּבrepentוְיִרְאֶה׃and-He-shall-manifest-Himself

    And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

  13. 13

    וַיַּעַןand-he-answeredחֲנַנְיָהHananiahוַיֹּאמַרand-saidאֲדֹנִיmy-lordשָׁמַעְתִּיheardרַבִּיםmanyמְסַפְּרִיםare recountingעַל־הָאִישׁupon-the-manהַזֶּהthisכַּמָּהthe-howרָעוֹתwildעָשָׂהhe-didלִקְדוֹשֶׁיךָto-your-saintsבִּירוּשָׁלָיִם׃at-Jerusalem

    Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:

    וְגַם־פֹּהand-also-hereרְשׁוּתauthorityיֶשׁ־לוֹhas-himמֵאֵתfromרָאשֵׁיthe-heads-ofהַכֹּהֲנִיםthe-priestsלֶאֱסֹרto-bindאֶת־כׇּל־הַקֹּרְאִיםall-the-those-who were invitedבִּשְׁמֶךָ׃in-name-your

    And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

  15. 15

    וַיֹּאמֶרand-saidאֵלָיוto-himהָאָדוֹןthe-Lordלֵךְgoכִּי־כְלִיbecause-an-instrumentחֵפֶץI-desireהוּאheלִיto-meלָשֵׂאתto-bearאֶת־שְׁמִיmy-nameלִפְנֵיbeforeגּוֹיִםthe-Gentiles,וּמְלָכִיםand-kingsוְלִפְנֵיand-beforeבְּנֵיthe-sons-ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Israel

    But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

  16. 16

    כִּיbecauseאֲנִיIאַרְאֵהוּwill-show(they)כַּמָּהthe-howיֵשׁ־לוֹthere-is-to-himלִסְבֹּלto-bearלְמַעַןin-order-thatשְׁמִי׃my-name

    For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

    וַיֵּלֶךְand-wentחֲנַנְיָהHananiahוַיָּבֹאand-cameהַבָּיְתָהthe-house-towardsוַיָּשֶׂםand-he-setאֶת־יָדָיוhis-handsעָלָיוupon-himוַיֹּאמַרand-saidשָׁאוּלSaulאָחִיmy-brotherהָאָדוֹןthe-LordיֵשׁוּעַJesusהַנִּרְאֶהthe-who-had appearedאֵלֶיךָto-youבַּדֶּרֶךְin-the-wayאֲשֶׁר־בָּאתָwhose-you-have-entered-intoבָּהּin-herשְׁלָחַנִיsent-meלְמַעַןin-order-thatתִּפָּקַחְנָהmight-be-openedעֵינֶיךָyour-eyesוְתִמָּלֵאand-shall-be-filledרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃the Holy Ghost

    And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

    וּכְרֶגַעand-in-an-instantנָפְלוּfellמֵעַלfrom-uponעֵינָיוtheir-eyesכְּמוֹas-it-had-beenקַשְׂקַשִּׂיםscalesוַתִּפָּקַחְנָהand-they were openedפִּתְאֹםsuddenlyוָיָּקָםand-he rose upוַיִּטָּבֵל׃and-was-baptized

    And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

    וַיֹּאכַלand-he-shall-eatלֶחֶםbreadוַיֶּחֱזָקand-he was strongוַיֵּשֶׁבand-he-satשָׁאוּלSaulיָמִיםdaysאֲחָדִיםa-fewעִם־הַתַּלְמִידִיםwith-the-disciplesאֲשֶׁרwhichבְּדַמָּשֶׂק׃in-Damascus

    And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

  20. 20

    וַיְמַהֵרand-he hurriedוַיִּקְרָאand-calledבְּבָתֵּיinכְנֵסִיּוֹתsynagoguesאֶת־יֵשׁוּעַJesusלֵאמֹרsayingכִּי־הוּאbecause-it-isבֶּן־הָאֱלֹהִיםSon-of-Godהוּא׃he

    And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

  21. 21

    וַיִּתְמְהוּthey-were-astonishedכׇל־הַשֹּׁמְעִיםall-the-you-who-hearוַיֹּאמְרוּand-they-saidהֲלֹאdo-notזֶהthisהוּאheאֲשֶׁרwhichהֶאֱבִידhe will destroyבִּירוּשָׁלַיִםin-Jerusalemאֶת־קֹרְאֵיthose who call onהַשֵּׁםthe-nameהַזֶּהthisוּלְמַעַןand-thatזֹאתthisבָּאcameהֵנָּהhitherלַהֲבִיאָםto-the-he-brought-themאֲסוּרִיםboundלִפְנֵיbeforeרָאשֵׁיthe-heads-ofהַכֹּהֲנִים׃the-priests

    But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

  22. 22

    וְשָׁאוּלand-Shaulהָיָהwasהוֹלֵךְgoingוְחָזֵקand-strongוַיָּהׇםand-he confusedאֶת־הַיְּהוּדִיםthe-Jewsיֹשְׁבֵיinhabitants-ofדַמֶּשֶׂקDamascusבְּהוֹכִיחוֹin-they-rebukedכִּי־זֶהthat-thisהוּאheהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃the-Messiah

    But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.

  23. 23

    וַיְהִיAnd-it-came-to-passכִּי־אָרְכוּ־לוֹafter-that-were-fulfilled-to-himשָׁםthereהַיָּמִיםmany-days,וַיִּוָּעֲצוּtook-counselהַיְּהוּדִיםthe-Jewsיַחְדָּוtogetherלַהֲמִיתוֹ׃to-kill-him:

    And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:

  24. 24

    וַיִּוָּדַעBut-was-knownלְשָׁאוּלof-Saul.אָרְבָּםtheir-laying-awaitוְהֵמָּהAnd-theyשָׁמְרוּwatchedאֶת־הַשְּׁעָרִיםthe-gatesיוֹמָםdayוָלַיְלָהand-nightלַהֲמִיתוֹ׃to-kill-him.

    But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.

  25. 25

    וַיִּקְחוּThen-tookאֹתוֹhimהַתַּלְמִידִיםthe-disciplesלַיְלָהby-night,וַיּוֹרִידֻהוּand-let-him-downבַסַּלin-a-basketבְּעַדbyהַחוֹמָה׃the-wall.

    Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.

    וַיְהִיAnd-it-came-to-passכְּבוֹאwhen-was-comeשָׁאוּלSaulיְרוּשָׁלַיְמָהto-Jerusalem,וַיְבַקֵּשׁhe-assayedלְהִלָּוֹתto-join-himselfאֶל־הַתַּלְמִידִיםto-the-disciples:וַיִּירְאוּbut-were-afraidכֻלָּםthey-allמִפָּנָיוof-him,וְלֹאand-notהֶאֱמִינוּbelievedכִּי־תַּלְמִידthat-a-discipleהוּא׃he-was.

    And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.

  27. 27

    וַיִּקַּחBut-tookאֹתוֹhimבַּר־נַבָּאBarnabas,וַיְבִיאֵהוּand-brought-himאֶל־הַשְּׁלִיחִיםto-the-apostles,וַיְסַפֵּרand-declaredלָהֶםunto-themאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־רָאָהhow-he-had-seenבַדֶּרֶךְin-the-wayאֶת־הָאָדוֹןthe-Lord,וְכִיand-thatהוּאheדִּבֶּרhad-spokenאֵלָיוto-him,וַאֲשֶׁרand-howהִשְׁמִיעַhe-had-preachedבְּאֹמֶץboldlyלִבּוֹof-heartבְּדַמֶּשֶׂקat-Damascusאֶת־שֵׁםin-the-name-ofיֵשׁוּעַ׃Jesus.

    But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.

    וַיְהִיAnd-he-wasאִתָּםwith-themיוֹצֵאcoming-inוָבָאand-going-outבִּירוּשָׁלָיִם׃at-Jerusalem.

    And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.

  29. 29

    וַיִּקְרָאAnd-he-spakeבְּאֹמֶץboldlyלִבּוֹof-heartבְּשֵׁםin-the-name-ofיְהוָֹהthe-LordיֵשׁוּעַJesus,וַיִּתְוַכַּחand-disputedגַּםalsoעִם־הַיְּהוּדִיםagainst-the-Jewsהַיְּוָנִיםthe-Grecians:וְהֵםbut-theyזַמֲמוּwent-aboutלַהֲמִיתוֹ׃to-slay-him.

    And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.

  30. 30

    וַיִּשְׁמְעוּWhich-when-knewהָאַחִיםthe-brethren,וַיּוֹרִידוּthey-brought-downאֹתוֹhimלְקֵיסַרְיָהto-Caesarea,וַיְשַׁלְחֻהוּand-sent-him-forthאֶל־טַרְסוֹס׃to-Tarsus.

    Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Cæsarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.

    וַיְהִיThen-hadשָׁלוֹםrestלַקְּהִלּוֹתthe-churchesבְּכׇל־מְקֹמוֹתthroughout-allיְהוּדָהJudaeaוְהַגָּלִילand-Galileeוְשֹׁמְרוֹןand-Samaria,וַתִּבָּנֶינָהand-were-edified;וַתִּתְהַלַּכְנָהand-walkingבְּיִרְאַתin-the-fear-ofהָאָדוֹןthe-Lord,וַתִּרְבֶּינָהwere-multipliedבְּנֶחָמַתin-the-comfort-ofרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃the-Holy-Ghost.

    Then had the churches rest throughout all Judæa and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

  32. 32

    וַיְהִיAnd-it-came-to-pass,בִּסְבֹבas-passed-throughoutפֶּטְרוֹסPeterבְּכׇל־הַמְּקֹמוֹתall-quarters,וַיֵּרֶדhe-came-downגַּםalsoאֶל־הַקְּדוֹשִׁיםto-the-saintsאֲשֶׁרwhichיָשְׁבוּdweltבְּלֹד׃at-Lydda.

    And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.

  33. 33

    וַיִּמְצָא־שָׁםAnd-he-found-thereאִישׁa-manשְׁמוֹnamedאֲנִיַּסAeneas,וְהוּאand-heשֹׁכֵבhad-keptעַל־מִשְׁכָּבוֹhis-bedזֶהthisשְׁמֹנֶהeightשָׁנִיםyears,וְהוּאand-heנְכֵהand-was-sick-ofאֵבָרִים׃the-palsy.

    And there he found a certain man named Æneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.

  34. 34

    וַיֹּאמֶרAnd-saidאֵלָיוunto-him,פֶּטְרוֹסPeterאֲנִיַּסAeneas,רְפָאֲךָmaketh-you-whole:יֵשׁוּעַJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַChristקוּםarise,הַצָּעand-makeאֶת־מִטָּתְךָyour-bedאַתָּהyou.וַיָּקׇםAnd-he-aroseכְּרָגַע׃immediately.

    And Peter said unto him, Æneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.

  35. 35

    וַיִּרְאוּAnd-sawאוֹתוֹhimכׇּל־יֹשְׁבֵיall-that-dwelt-atלֹדLyddaוְהַשָּׁרוֹןand-Saron,וַיִּפְנוּand-turnedאֶל־הָאָדוֹן׃to-the-Lord.

    And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.

  36. 36

    וְתַלְמִידָהNow-there-was-a-discipleבְּיָפוֹat-JoppaוּשְׁמָהּnamedטָבִיתָאTabitha,תַּרְגּוּמוֹwhich-by-interpretation-is-calledצְבִיָּהDorcas:וְהִיאthis-woman-wasמְלֵאָהfull-ofמַעֲשִׂיםworksטוֹבִיםgoodוּצְדָקוֹתand-almsdeedsאֲשֶׁרwhichעָשָׂתָה׃she-did.

    Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

    וַיְהִיAnd-it-came-to-passבַּיָּמִיםin-daysהָהֵםthose,וַתֶּחֱלֶהthat-she-was-sick,וַתָּמֹתand-died:וַיִּרְחֲצוּwhom-when-they-had-washedאֹתָהּher,וַיְשִׂימוּהָthey-laid-herבַּעֲלִיָּה׃in-an-upper-chamber.

    And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.

  38. 38

    וְלֹדAnd-forasmuch-as-Lyddaקְרוֹבָהwas-nighהִיאitלְיָפוֹto-Joppa,וַיִּשְׁמְעוּand-had-heardהַתַּלְמִידִיםthe-disciplesכִּיthatפֶטְרוֹסPeterשָׁםwas-there,וַיִּשְׁלְחוּthey-sentאֵלָיוunto-himשְׁנֵיtwoאֲנָשִׁיםmen,וַיִּפְצְרוּ־בוֹdesiring-himלְבִלְתִּיthat-he-would-notהֵעָצֵלdelayלַעֲבֹרto-comeאֲלֵיהֶם׃to-them.

    And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

    וַיָּקׇםThen-aroseפֶּטְרוֹסPeterוַיֵּלֶךְand-wentאִתָּםwith-them.וּבְבֹאוֹWhen-he-was-come,הֶעֱלֻהוּthey-brought-himאֶל־הָעֲלִיָּהinto-the-upper-chamber:וַתִּגַּשְׁנָהand-stood-byאֵלָיוhimכׇּל־הָאַלְמָנוֹתall-the-widowsבּוֹכִיּוֹתweeping,וּמַרְאוֹתand-shewingלוֹto-himאֵת־הַכֻּתֳּנֹתthe-coatsוְאֵתandהַבְּגָדִיםthe-garmentsאֲשֶׁרwhichעָשְׂתָהmadeצְבִיָּהDorcas,בְּעוֹדָהּwhile-she-wasעִמָּהֶן׃with-them.

    Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

    וַיּוֹצֵאBut-put-forthפֶטְרוֹסPeterאֶת־כֻּלָּםthem-allהַחוּצָהout,וַיִּכְרַעand-kneeled-downעַל־בִּרְכָּיוupon-his-knees,וַיִּתְפַּלֵּלand-prayed;וַיִּפֶןand-turning-himאֶל־גְּוִיָּתָהּto-the-bodyוַיֹּאמֶרsaid,טָבִיתָאTabitha,קוּמִיarise.וַתִּפְתַּחAnd-she-openedאֶת־עֵינֶיהָher-eyes:וַתֵּרֶאand-when-she-sawאֶת־פֶטְרוֹסPeter,וַתִּתְעוֹדָד׃she-sat-up.

    But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

    וַיִּשְׁלַחAnd-he-gave-herיָדוֹhis-hand,וַיָּקֶםand-lifted-upאֹתָהּher,וַיִּקְרָאand-when-he-had-calledאֶת־הַקְּדוֹשִׁיםthe-saintsוְאֶת־הָאַלְמָנוֹתand-widows,וַיַּעֲמֵדpresentedאֹתָהּherחַיָּהaliveלִפְנֵיהֶם׃before-them.

    And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.

    וַיִּוָּדַעAnd-was-knownהַדָּבָרitבְּכׇל־יָפוֹthroughout-all-Joppa;וַיַּאֲמִינוּand-believedרַבִּיםmanyבָּאָדוֹן׃in-the-Lord.

    And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.

    וַיּוֹאֶלAnd-it-came-to-pass,-that-he-was-contentלָשֶׁבֶתto-tarryבְּיָפוֹin-Joppaיָמִיםdaysרַבִּיםmanyעִם־בּוּרְסִיwith-a-tannerאֶחָדoneוּשְׁמוֹnamedשִׁמְעוֹן׃Simon.

    And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.
