   And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judæa and Samaria, except the apostles.

   And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

   As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

   וְהַנְּפוֹצִיםve/han/ne/fo/TSIMand those who were scatteredעָבְרוּa/ve/RUpassedבָאָרֶץva/A/retsthrough the landוַיְבַשְּׂרוּvay/vas/se/RUand proclaimedאֶת־הַדָּבָר׃et-had/da/VARthe word

   Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

   וּפִילִפּוֹסu/Fi/lip/POSand Philipיָרַדya/RADwent downאֶל־עִירel-irto the city ofשֹׁמְרוֹןShom/RONSamariaוַיְבַשֵּׂרvay/vas/SERand preachedלָהֶםla/HEMto themאֶת־הַמָּשִׁיחַ׃et-Ham/ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

   Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

   וַיַּקְשֵׁבvay/yak/SHEVand heededהֲמוֹןha/MONthe crowd ofהָעָםha/AMthe peopleלֵבlevwith a heartאֶחָדe/CHADoneאֶל־אִמְרֵיel-im/REthe sayings ofפִילִפּוֹסFi/lip/POSPhilipבְּשֹׁמְעָםbe/shom/AMas they heardוּבִרְאוֹתָםu/vir/o/TAMand sawאֶת־הָאֹתוֹתet-ha/o/TOTthe signsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעָשָׂה׃a/SAhe did

   And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

   כִּיkiforרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyהָיוּha/YUwereאֲחוּזֵיa/chu/ZEseized byרוּחוֹתru/CHOTspiritsהַטֻּמְאָהhat/tum/Aof uncleannessוְהָרוּחוֹתve/ha/ru/CHOTand the spiritsיָצְאוּya/tse/Ucame outמֵהֶםme/HEMof themצֹעֲקוֹתtso/a/KOTcrying outצְעָקָהtse/a/KAwith a cryגְדוֹלָהge/do/LAloudוְרַבִּיםve/rab/BIMand manyנְכֵיne/KHEstricken ofאֵבָרִיםe/va/RIMlimbsוּפִסְחִיםu/fis/CHIMand lameוְנִרְפָּאוּ׃ve/nir/pa/Uwere healed

   For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

   And there was great joy in that city.

   וְאִישׁve/ISHand a manאֶחָדe/CHADoneוּשְׁמוֹu/she/MOand his nameשִׁמְעוֹןShim/ONSimonהָיָהha/YAwasמִלְּפָנִיםmil/le/fa/NIMbeforeבָּעִירba/IRin the cityמְכַשֵּׁףme/khash/SHEFpracticing sorceryוּמַבְהִילu/mav/HILand astoundingאֶת־עַםet-amthe people ofשֹׁמְרוֹןShom/RONSamariaבְּאׇמְרוֹbe/om/ROsayingעַל־נַפְשׁוֹal-naf/SHOabout himselfכִּיkithatגָדוֹלga/DOLgreatהוּא׃huhe is

   But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

    וְכֻלָּםve/khul/LAMand all of themהִקְשִׁיבוּhik/SHI/vuheededאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himמִקְּטַנָּםmik/ke/tan/NAMfrom the leastוְעַד־גְּדוֹלָםve/AD-ge/do/LAMto the greatestלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingזֶהzethis oneהוּאhuisגְּבוּרַתge/vu/RATthe power ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodהַגְּדוֹלָה׃hag/ge/do/LAthat is great

    To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

    וַיַּקְשִׁיבוּvay/yak/shi/VUand they heededאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himעַל־הֱיוֹתוֹal-he/yo/TObecause he had beenמַבְהִילmav/HILastoundingאוֹתָםo/TAMthemבִּכְשָׁפָיוbikh/sha/FAYVwith sorceriesיָמִיםya/MIMdaysרַבִּים׃rab/BIMmany

    And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenהֶאֱמִינוּhe/e/MI/nuthey believedלְפִילִפּוֹסLe/fi/lip/POSPhilipבְּבַשְׂרוֹbe/vas/ROas he proclaimedאֶת־מַלְכוּתet-mal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוְאֶת־שֵׁםve/ET-shemand the name ofיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahוַיִּטָּבְלוּvay/yit/ta/ve/LUand were baptizedאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenוְנָשִׁים׃ve/na/SHIMand women

    But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

    וַיַּאֲמֵןvay/ya/a/MENand believedשִׁמְעוֹןShim/ONSimonגַּם־הוּאgam-huhe alsoוַיִּטָּבֵלvay/yit/ta/VELand was baptizedוַיִּדְבַּקvay/yid/BAKand clungבְּפִילִפּוֹסbe/Fi/lip/POSwith Philipוַיַּרְאvay/YARand he sawאֶת־הָאֹתוֹתet-ha/o/TOTthe signsוְהַמֹּפְתִיםve/ham/mof/TIMand the wondersאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנַעֲשׂוּna/a/SUwere doneוַיִּתְמָהּ׃vay/yit/MAand he marveled

    Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

    וַיִּשְׁמְעוּvay/yish/me/Uand heardהַשְּׁלִיחִיםhash/she/li/CHIMthe apostlesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwho wereבִּירוּשָׁלַיִםbI/ru/sha/LA/yimat Jerusalemכִּי־קִבְּלָהki-kib/be/LAthat had receivedשֹׁמְרוֹןShom/RONSamariaאֶת־דְּבַרet-de/VARthe word ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוַיִּשְׁלְחוּvay/yish/le/CHUand they sentאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themאֶת־פֶּטְרוֹסet-Pet/ROSPeterוְאֶת־יוֹחָנָן׃ve/ET-yo/cha/NANand John

    Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

15. 15

    וַיֵּרְדוּvay/yer/DUand they went downשָׁמָּהSHAM/mathereוַיִּתְפַּלֲלוּvay/yit/pa/la/LUand prayedבַעֲדָםva/a/DAMfor themאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיְקַבְּלוּye/kab/be/LUthey might receiveאֶת־רוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃et-RU/ach-hak/KO/deshthe Holy Spirit

    Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

16. 16

    כִּיkiforהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe Spiritלֹא־נָפְלָהlo-NAF/lahad not fallenעַד־עַתָּהad-at/TAuntil nowעַל־אֶחָדal-e/CHADon oneמֵהֶםme/HEMof themוְהֵםve/HEMand theyרַק־נִטְבָּלִיםrak-nit/ba/LIMhad only been baptizedבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordיֵשׁוּעַ׃Ye/SHU/aJesus

    (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

17. 17

    וַיִּסְמְכוּvay/yis/me/KHUand they laidאֶת־יְדֵיהֶםet-ye/de/HEMtheir handsעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themוַיְקַבְּלוּvay/kab/be/LUand they receivedאֶת־רוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃et-RU/ach-hak/KO/deshthe Holy Spirit

    Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

18. 18

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבִּרְאוֹתbir/OTwhen sawשִׁמְעוֹןShim/ONSimonכִּיkithatנִתַּןnit/TANwas givenרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁRU/ach-Hak/KO/deshthe Holy Spiritבִּסְמִיכַתbis/mi/KHATby the laying on ofיְדֵיye/DEthe hands ofהַשְּׁלִיחִיםhash/she/li/CHIMthe apostlesוַיָּבֵאvay/ya/VEand he broughtלִפְנֵיהֶםlif/ne/HEMthemכָּסֶף׃KA/sefmoney

    And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

    וַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidתְּנוּ־נָאte/NU-nagive nowגַם־לִיgam-lialso to meאֶת־הַשָּׁלְטָןet-hash/sha/le/TANthe authorityהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיְקַבֵּלye/kab/BELwill receiveאֶת־רוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁet-RU/ach-hak/KO/deshthe Holy Spiritכֹּלkolallאֲשֶׁר־אָשִׂיםa/SHER-a/SIMon whom I putעָלָיוa/LAYVon himאֶת־יָדָי׃et-ya/DAYmy hands

    Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

20. 20

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himפֶּטְרוֹסPet/ROSPeterכַּסְפְּךָkas/pe/KHAyour moneyיְהִיye/HIlet beאִתְּךָit/te/KHAwith youלַאֲבַדּוֹןla/a/vad/DONfor destructionיַעַןYA/anbecauseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאָמַרְתָּa/MAR/tayou saidלִקְנוֹתlik/NOTto acquireבִּמְחִירbim/CHIRwith a priceאֶת־מַתַּתet-mat/TATthe gift ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

    But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

21. 21

    אֵין־לְךָen-le/KHAyou have noחֵלֶקCHE/lekportionוְגוֹרָלve/go/RALand lotבַּדָּבָרbad/da/VARin the matterהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisכִּיkiforלְבָבְךָle/va/ve/KHAyour heartאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nuis notיָשָׁרya/SHARuprightלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

    Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

22. 22

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowשׁוּבshuvturnמֵרָעָתְךָme/ra/a/te/KHAfrom your evilזֹאתzotthisוְהִתְחַנֵּןve/hit/chan/NENand pleadאֶל־הָאֱלֹהִיםel-ha/e/lo/HIMGodאוּלַיu/LAYperhapsתִּסָּלַחtis/sa/LACHwill be forgivenלְךָle/KHAyouמְזִמַּתme/zim/MATthe scheme ofלְבָבֶךָ׃le/va/VE/khayour heart

    Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

23. 23

    כִּי־רֹאֶהki-ro/Efor seeאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIכִּי־בָאתָki-VA/tathat you have comeבִּידֵיbi/DEinto the hands ofמְרוֹרַתme/ro/RATthe gall ofרוֹשׁroshpoisonוְחַרְצֻבּוֹתve/char/tsub/BOTand the bonds ofרֶשַׁע׃RE/shawickedness

    For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

24. 24

    וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredשִׁמְעוֹןShim/ONSimonוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidהַעְתִּירוּha/TI/ruentreatאַתֶּםat/TEMyouבַּעֲדִיba/a/DIfor meאֶל־הָאָדוֹןel-ha/a/DONto the Lordלְבִלְתִּי־בוֹאle/vil/TI-vothat will not comeעָלַיa/LAYupon meדָּבָרda/VARa thingמִכֹּלmik/KOLof allאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאֲמַרְתֶּם׃a/mar/TEMyou have spoken

    Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

25. 25

    וְהֵמָּהve/HEM/maand theyהֵעִידוּhe/I/dutestifiedוְדִבְּרוּve/dib/be/RUand spokeאֶת־דְּבָרet-de/VARthe word ofיְהוָֹהAdonaithe LORDוַיָּשׁוּבוּvay/ya/SHU/vuand returnedיְרוּשָׁלַיְמָהYe/ru/sha/LAY/mato Jerusalemוַיְבַשְּׂרוּvay/vas/se/RUand proclaimedאֶת־הַבְּשׂוֹרָהet-hab/be/so/RAthe good newsבִּכְפָרִיםbikh/fa/RIMin villagesרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat belongלַשֹּׁמְרוֹנִים׃lash/Shom/ro/NIMto the Samaritans

    And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

26. 26

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeמַלְאַךְ־יְהוָֹהmal/AKH-Adonaithe angel of the LORDאֶל־פִילִפּוֹסel-Fi/lip/POSto Philipלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingקוּםkumariseלֵךְlekhgoהַנֶּגְבָּהhan/NEG/basouthwardעַל־הַדֶּרֶךְal-had/DE/rekhon the roadהַיֹּרֶדֶתhay/yo/RE/detthat goes downמִירוּשָׁלַיִםmI/ru/sha/LA/yimfrom JerusalemעַזָּתָהAz/ZA/tato Gazaוְהִיאve/HIand it isחֲרֵבָה׃cha/re/VAdesolate

    And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

    וַיָּקׇםvay/YA/komand he aroseוַיֵּלַךְvay/ye/LAKHand wentוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאִישׁisha manכּוּשִׁיKu/SHICushiteסָרִיסsa/RISa eunuchוְשַׁלִּיטve/shal/LITand a rulerלְקַנְדַּקle/Kan/DAKunder Candaceמַלְכַּת־כּוּשׁmal/KAT-Kushqueen of Cushוּמְמֻנֶּהu/me/mun/NEand appointedעַל־כׇּל־גְּנָזֶיהָal-kol-ge/na/ze/HAover all her treasuresאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoעָלָהa/LAhad come upאֶל־יְרוּשָׁלַיִםel-Ye/ru/sha/LA/yimto Jerusalemלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹת׃le/hish/ta/cha/VOTto bow down

    And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

28. 28

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבְשׁוּבוֹve/shu/VOas he returnedוְהוּאve/HUand he wasיֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVsittingעַל־מֶרְכַּבְתּוֹal-mer/kav/TOin his chariotוְקֹרֵאve/ko/REand readingבְּסֵפֶרbe/SE/ferin the book ofיְשַׁעְיָהוּYe/sha/YA/huEsaiasהַנָּבִיא׃han/na/VIthe prophet

    Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

29. 29

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe Spiritאֶל־פִילִפּוֹסel-Fi/lip/POSto Philipגְּשָׁהge/SHAapproachוְהִלָּוֵהve/hil/la/VEand joinאֶל־הַמֶּרְכָּבָהel-ham/mer/ka/VAto the chariotהַזֹּאת׃haz/ZOTthis

    Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

    וַיָּרׇץvay/YA/rotsand ranפִילִפּוֹסFi/lip/POSPhilipאֵלֶיהָe/LE/hato itוַיִּשְׁמַעvay/yish/MAand heardאֹתוֹo/TOhimקֹרֵאko/REreadingבְּסֵפֶרbe/SE/ferin the book ofיְשַׁעְיָהוּYe/sha/YA/huEsaiasהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidהֲגַםha/GAMdoתָּבִיןta/VINyou understandאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhatאַתָּהat/TAyouקוֹרֵא׃ko/REare reading

    And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidוְאֵיכָכָהve/e/kha/KHAand howאוּכַלu/KHALcan Iוְאֵיןve/ENwhen there is noאִישׁishmanאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיוֹרֵנִיyo/re/NIwill teach meוַיְבַקֵּשׁvay/vak/KESHand he askedמֵאֵתme/ETofפִילִפּוֹסFi/lip/POSPhilipלַעֲלוֹתla/a/LOTto come upוְלָשֶׁבֶתve/la/SHE/vetand to sitאֶצְלוֹ׃ets/LOwith him

    And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

32. 32

    וְזֶהve/ZEand this wasעִנְיַןin/YANthe matter ofהַכָּתוּבhak/ka/TUVthe scriptureאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatקָרָאka/RAhe readכַּשֶּׂהkas/SEas a sheepלַטֶּבַחlat/TE/vachto the slaughterיוּבָלyu/VALhe was ledוּכְכֶבֶשׂu/khe/KHE/vesand like a lambלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeגֹּזְזוֹgoz/ZOhis shearerנֶאֱלָםne/e/LAMmuteוְלֹא־יִפְתַּחve/LO-yif/TACHand he did not openפִּיו׃pivhis mouth

    The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

33. 33

    בְּשִׁפְלוּתוֹbe/shif/lu/TOin his lowlinessמִשְׁפָּטוֹmish/pa/TOhis judgmentלֻקָּחluk/KACHhe was takenוְאֶת־דּוֹרוֹve/ET-do/ROand his generationמִיmiwhoיְשׂוֹחֵחַye/so/CHE/achwill considerכִּיkiforנִלְקְחוּnil/ke/CHUis takenחַיָּיוchay/YAYVhis lifeמִן־הָאָרֶץ׃min-ha/A/retsfrom the earth

    In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

    וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredהַסָּרִיסhas/sa/RISthe eunuchוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֶל־פִילִפּוֹסel-Fi/lip/POSPhilipאֶשְׁאֲלָהesh/a/LAlet me askמִמְּךָmim/me/KHAyouעַל־מִיal-miabout whomהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetמְדַבֵּרme/dab/BERspeaksאֶת־זֹאתet-zotthisעַל־נַפְשׁוֹal-naf/SHOabout himselfאוֹoorעַל־אִישׁal-ishabout a manאַחֵר׃a/CHERother

    And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

35. 35

    וַיִּפְתַּחvay/yif/TACHand openedפִילִפּוֹסFi/lip/POSPhilipאֶת־פִּיוet-pivhis mouthוַיָּחֶלvay/YA/cheland beganמִן־הַכָּתוּבmin-hak/ka/TUVfrom the scriptureהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוַיְבַשֵּׂרvay/vas/SERand proclaimed toאוֹתוֹo/TOhimאֶת־יֵשׁוּעַ׃et-Ye/SHU/aJesus

    Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

36. 36

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבְּעׇבְרָםbe/ov/RAMas they passedבַּדֶּרֶךְbad/DE/rekhon the roadוַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand they cameאֶל־מְקוֹםel-me/KOMto a place ofמָיִםMA/yimwaterוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidהַסָּרִיסhas/sa/RISthe eunuchהִנֵּה־מַיִםhin/NE-MA/yimbehold waterמַה־יִּמְנָעֵנִיma-yim/na/e/NIwhat prevents meמֵהִטָּבֵל׃me/hit/ta/VELfrom being baptized

    And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

37. 37

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidפִילִפּוֹסFi/lip/POSPhilipאִם־מַאֲמִיןim-ma/a/MINif believeאַתָּהat/TAyouבְּכׇל־לְבָבְךָbe/KHOL-le/va/ve/KHAwith all your heartמֻתָּר־לָךְmut/TAR-lakhit is permitted to youוַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand he answeredוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲנִיa/NIIמַאֲמִיןma/a/MINbelieveכִּיkithatיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahבֶּן־הָאֱלֹהִיםben-Ha/e/lo/HIMthe Son of Godהוּא׃huis

    And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

38. 38

    וַיְצַוvay/TSAVand he commandedלְהַעֲמִידle/ha/a/MIDto stopאֶת־הַמֶּרְכָּבָהet-ham/mer/ka/VAthe chariotוַיֵּרְדוּvay/yer/DUand they went downשְׁנֵיהֶםshe/ne/HEMthe two of themאֶל־תּוֹךְel-tokhintoהַמַּיִםham/MA/yimthe waterפִילִפּוֹסFi/lip/POSPhilipוְהַסָּרִיסve/has/sa/RISand the eunuchוַיַּטְבֵּלvay/yat/BELand he baptizedאוֹתוֹ׃o/TOhim

    And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

39. 39

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכִּיkiwhenעָלוּa/LUthey came upמִן־הַמַּיִםmin-ham/MA/yimout of the waterוַיִּשָּׂאvay/yis/SAand carried offרוּחַRU/achthe Spirit ofיְהוָֹהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־פִילִפּוֹסet-Fi/lip/POSPhilipוְהַסָּרִיסve/has/sa/RISand the eunuchלֹאlonotרָאָהוּra/A/hudid see himעוֹדodanymoreוַיֵּלֵךְvay/ye/LEKHand he wentלְדַרְכּוֹle/dar/KOon his wayשָׂמֵחַ׃sa/ME/achrejoicing

    And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

40. 40

    וּפִילִפּוֹסu/Fi/lip/POSand Philipנִמְצָאnim/TSAwas foundבְאַשְׁדּוֹדve/Ash/DODat Azotusוַיַּעֲבֹרvay/ya/a/VORand he passed throughוַיְבַשֵּׂרvay/vas/SERand proclaimedבְּכׇל־הֶעָרִיםbe/KHOL-he/a/RIMin all the citiesעַד־בֹּאוֹad-bo/Ountil his comingלְקֵיסַרְיָה׃le/Ke/sar/YAto Caesarea

    But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Cæsarea.
