   Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

   And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

   Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

   וַיָּשֶׂםvay/YA/semand he setפֶּטְרוֹסPet/ROSPeterעֵינָיוe/NAYVhis eyesעָלָיוa/LAYVupon himוְגַם־יוֹחָנָןve/GAM-yo/cha/NANand also Johnוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himהַבִּיטָהhab/BI/talookאֵלֵינוּ׃e/LE/nuon us

   And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

   וַיָּשֶׂםvay/YA/semand he setפָּנָיוpa/NAYVhis faceאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themוַיְקַוvay/KAVand he hopedלָקַחַתla/KA/chatto receiveמֵאִתָּםme/it/TAMfrom themדָּבָר׃da/VARsomething

   And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidפֶּטְרוֹסPet/ROSPeterכֶּסֶףKE/sefsilverוְזָהָבve/za/HAVand goldאֵין־לִיen-liI do not haveוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand whatיֶשׁ־לִיyesh-liI haveאֶתְּנֶנּוּet/te/NEN/nuI giveלָךְlakhto youבְּשֵׁם־יֵשׁוּעַbe/SHEM-ye/SHU/ain the name of Jesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahהַנָּצְרִיhan/Na/tse/RIof Nazarethקוּםkumriseהִתְהַלֵּךְ׃hit/hal/LEKHwalk

   Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

   וַיֹּאחֶזvay/YO/chezand he took holdבְּיַדbe/YADof the hand ofיְמִינוֹye/mi/NOhis rightוַיְקִימֵהוּvay/ki/me/HUand raised himוַיֶּחֶזְקוּvay/ye/chez/KUand grew strongפִתְאֹםfit/OMsuddenlyרַגְלָיוrag/LAYVhis feetוְקַרְסֻלָּיו׃ve/kar/sul/LAYVand his ankles

   And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

   וַיְדַלֵּגvay/dal/LEGand he leapedוַיַּעֲמֹדvay/ya/a/MODstoodוַיְהַלֵּךְvay/hal/LEKHand walkedוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand enteredאִתָּםit/TAMwith themאֶל־הַמִּקְדָּשׁel-ham/mik/DASHinto the templeוְהוּאve/HUand he wasמִתְהַלֵּךְmit/hal/LEKHwalkingוּמְדַלֵּגu/me/dal/LEGand leapingוּמְשַׁבֵּחַu/me/shab/BE/achand praisingאֶת־הָאֱלֹהִים׃et-ha/e/lo/HIMGod

   And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

   וַיִּרְאֵהוּvay/yir/E/huand saw himכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleמִתְהַלֵּךְmit/hal/LEKHwalkingוּמְשַׁבֵּחַu/me/shab/BE/achand praisingאֶת־הָאֱלֹהִים׃et-ha/e/lo/HIMGod

   And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

10. 10

    וַיַּכִּירוּvay/yak/ki/RUand they recognizedאוֹתוֹo/TOhimכִּיkithatהוּאhuhe wasהַיֹּשֵׁבhay/yo/SHEVthe one who satלִשְׁאֹלlish/OLto askצְדָקָהtse/da/KAcharityבְּשַׁעַרbe/SHA/arat the gate ofהַמִּקְדָּשׁham/mik/DASHthe templeהַיָּפֶהHay/ya/FEBeautifulוַיִּמָּלְאוּvay/yim/ma/le/Uand they were filled withשַׁמָּהsham/MAastonishmentוְתִמָּהוֹןve/tim/ma/HONand amazementעַלalatהַנַּעֲשָׂהhan/na/a/SAwhat had been doneלוֹ׃loto him

    And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passהַפִּסֵּחַhap/pis/SE/achthe lame manהַנִּרְפָּאhan/nir/PAwho was healedמַחֲזִיקma/cha/ZIKwas holdingבְּפֶטְרוֹסBe/fet/ROSPeterוּבְיוֹחָנָןu/ve/Yo/cha/NANand Johnוַיָּרׇץvay/YA/rotsand ranאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleאֶל־הָאוּלָםel-ha/u/LAMto the porchהַנִּקְרָאhan/nik/RAcalledאוּלַםu/LAMthe porch ofשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonוַיִּשְׁתּוֹמֵמוּ׃vay/yish/to/me/MUand they were astonished

    And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand sawפֶּטְרוֹסPet/ROSPeterוַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand he answeredוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֶל־הָעָםel-ha/AMto the peopleאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEmen ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמָהmawhyאַתֶּםat/TEMare youתְּמֵהִיםte/me/HIMmarvelingעַל־הַדָּבָרal-had/da/VARat the thingהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוּמַה־תַּבִּיטוּu/MA-tab/bi/TUand why do you lookבָנוּVA/nuon usכְּאִלּוּke/il/LUas thoughבְּכֹחֵנוּbe/kho/che/NUby our strengthאוֹoorבְקׇדְשֵׁנוּve/kod/SHE/nuby our holinessהוּאhuheמְהַלֵּךְ׃me/hal/LEKHwalks

    And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

    אֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofאַבְרָהָםAv/ra/HAMAbrahamאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִצְחָקYits/CHAKIsaacוֵאלֹהֵיve/lo/HEand the God ofיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVJacobאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofאֲבוֹתֵינוּa/vo/TE/nuour fathersהוּאhuHeפֵּאֵרpe/ERhas glorifiedאֶת־בְּנוֹet-Be/NOHis SonיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomאַתֶּםat/TEMyouמְסַרְתֶּםme/sar/TEMdelivered upוְכִחַשְׁתֶּםve/khi/chash/TEMand deniedבּוֹbohimבִּפְנֵיbif/NEin the presence ofפִילָטוֹסFi/la/TOSPilateכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenגָּזַרga/ZARhe decidedלְפָטְרוֹ׃le/fa/te/ROto release him

    The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

14. 14

    אֲבָלa/VALbutאַתֶּםat/TEMyouכִּחַשְׁתֶּםki/chash/TEMdeniedבַּקָּדוֹשׁbak/Ka/DOSHthe Holy Oneוּבַצַּדִּיקu/Vats/tsad/DIKand the Righteous Oneוּשְׁאֶלְתֶּםu/she/el/TEMand askedכִּי־יִנָּתֵןki-yin/na/TENthat be givenלָכֶםla/KHEMto youאִישׁisha manרֹצֵחַ׃ro/TSE/achmurderer

    But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

15. 15

    וְאֶת־שַׂרve/ET-sarand the prince ofהַחַיִּיםha/chay/YIMlifeהֲמִתֶּםha/mit/TEMyou killedאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodהֵקִיםhe/KIMraisedמִן־הַמֵּתִיםmin-ham/me/TIMfrom the deadוַאֲנַחְנוּva/a/NACH/nuand weעֵדָיו׃e/DAYVare his witnesses

    And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

16. 16

    וְעַלve/ALand byאֱמוּנַתe/mu/NATfaith inשְׁמוֹshe/MOhis nameחִזַּקchiz/ZAKstrengthenedשְׁמוֹshe/MOhis nameאֶת־הָאִישׁet-ha/ISHthe manהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomאַתֶּםat/TEMyouרֹאִיםro/IMseeוּמַכִּירִיםu/mak/ki/RIMand knowוְהָאֱמוּנָהve/ha/e/mu/NAand the faithעַל־יָדוֹal-ya/DOthrough himהֶעֶלְתָה־לּוֹhe/el/TA-lohas brought up for himאֶת־הָאֲרֻכָהet-ha/a/ru/KHAthe healingהַשְּׁלֵמָהhash/she/le/MAperfectהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלְעֵינֵיle/e/NEin the eyes ofכֻלְּכֶם׃khul/le/KHEMall of you

    And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

17. 17

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersיֹדֵעַyo/DE/aknowאֲנִיa/NIIכִּיkithatבִבְלִי־דַעַתviv/LI-DA/atwithout knowledgeעֲשִׂיתֶםa/si/TEMyou didגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMboth youגַּם־רָאשֵׁיכֶם׃gam-ra/she/KHEMand your rulers

    And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

18. 18

    וְהָאֱלֹהִיםve/ha/e/lo/HIMand GodכָּכָהKA/khathusמִלֵּאmil/LEfulfilledאֵת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhatהִגִּידhig/GIDHe foretoldמִקֶּדֶםmik/KE/dembeforehandבְּפִיbe/FIby the mouth ofכׇל־נְבִיאָיוkhol-ne/vi/AYVall His prophetsכִּיkithatיְעֻנֶּהye/un/NEshould sufferהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

19. 19

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeשׁוּבוּSHU/vurepentוְהֵהָפְכוּve/he/ha/fe/KHUand turnוְיִמָּחוּve/yim/ma/CHUand may be blotted outחֲטָאֵיכֶםcha/ta/e/KHEMyour sinsכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenיָבֹאוּya/VO/uwill comeיְמֵיye/MEthe times ofרְוָחָהre/va/CHAreliefמִלִּפְנֵיmil/lif/NEfrom the presence ofיְהוָֹה׃Adonaithe LORD

    Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

20. 20

    וְיִשְׁלַחve/yish/LACHand He will sendאֶת־יֵשׁוּעַet-Ye/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהֻגַּדhug/GADwas toldלָכֶםla/KHEMfor youמִקֶּדֶם׃mik/KE/dembeforehand

    And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

21. 21

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomעַל־הַשָּׁמַיִםal-hash/sha/MA/yimupon the heavensלְקַבְּלוֹle/kab/be/LOto receive himעַד־יְמֵיad-ye/MEuntil the days ofהֲשָׁבַתha/sha/VATrestitution ofכׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםkol-had/de/va/RIMall thingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichדִּבֶּרdib/BERspokeהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodבְּפִיbe/FIby the mouth ofכׇל־נְבִיאָיוkhol-ne/vi/AYVall His prophetsהַקְּדוֹשִׁיםhak/ke/do/SHIMthe holyמֵרֵאשִׁיתme/re/SHITfrom the beginning ofהָעוֹלָם׃ha/o/LAMthe world

    Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

22. 22

    הֵןhenbeholdמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאָמַרa/MARsaidאֶל־הָאָבוֹתel-ha/a/VOTto the fathersנָבִיאna/VIa prophetיָקִיםya/KIMwill raise upלָכֶםla/KHEMfor youיְהוָֹהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםe/lo/he/KHEMyour Godמִקֶּרֶבmik/KE/revfrom amongאֲחֵיכֶםa/che/KHEMyour brothersכָּמֹנִיka/MO/nilike meאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himתִּשְׁמָעוּןtish/ma/UNyou shall listenבְּכֹלbe/KHOLin allאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיְדַבֵּרye/dab/BERhe speaksאֲלֵיכֶם׃a/le/KHEMto you

    For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

23. 23

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it will beכׇּל־הַנֶּפֶשׁkol-han/NE/feshevery soulאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlodoes notתִשְׁמַעtish/MAlistenאֶל־הַנָּבִיאel-han/na/VIthe prophetהַהוּאha/HUthatוְנִכְרְתָהve/nikh/re/TAwill be cut offמֵעַמֶּיהָ׃me/am/ME/hafrom its people

    And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

24. 24

    וְגַםve/GAMand alsoכׇּל־הַנְּבִיאִיםkol-han/ne/vi/IMall the prophetsמִשְּׁמוּאֵלmish/She/mu/ELfrom Samuelוְהַבָּאִיםve/hab/ba/IMand those who cameאַחֲרָיוa/cha/RAYVafter himכֹּלkolallאֲשֶׁרa/SHERasדִּבְּרוּdib/be/RUspokeהִגִּידוּhig/GI/dutoldגַם־הֵםgam-hemthey alsoמֵרֹאשׁme/ROSHfrom the beginningאֶת־הַיָּמִיםet-hay/ya/MIMthe daysהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

    Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

25. 25

    אַתֶּםat/TEMyou areבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofהַנְּבִיאִיםhan/ne/vi/IMthe prophetsוּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofהַבְּרִיתhab/be/RITthe covenantאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatכָּרַתka/RATmadeהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodעִם־אֲבוֹתֵינוּim-a/vo/TE/nuwith our fathersבְּאׇמְרוֹbe/om/ROin His sayingלְאַבְרָהָםle/Av/ra/HAMto Abrahamוְנִבְרְכוּve/niv/re/KHUand will be blessedבְזַרְעֲךָve/zar/a/KHAin your seedכֹּלkolallמִשְׁפְּחוֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofהָאֲדָמָה׃ha/a/da/MAthe earth

    Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26. 26

    לָכֶםla/KHEMfor youרִאשׁוֹנָהri/sho/NAfirstהֵקִיםhe/KIMhaving raised upהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodאֶת־בְּנוֹet-Be/NOHis SonיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיִּשְׁלָחֵהוּvay/yish/la/CHE/huand sent himלְבָרֵךְle/va/REKHto blessאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouבְּהָשִׁיבbe/ha/SHIVin turning awayאִישׁisheach manמֵעֲוֹנוֹתָיו׃me/a/vo/no/TAYVfrom his iniquities

    Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
