   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeמֵעִידme/IDtestifyאֲנִיa/NIIבְּךָbe/KHAto youלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוְהָאָדוֹןve/ha/a/DONand the LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיִשְׁפֹּטyish/POTwill judgeאֶת־הַחַיִּיםet-ha/chay/YIMthe livingוְאֶת־הַמֵּתִיםve/ET-ham/me/TIMand the deadבְּהֵרָאוֹתוֹbe/he/ra/o/TOwhen he appearsוּבְמַלְכוּתוֹ׃u/ve/mal/khu/TOand his kingdom

   I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

   הַגֵּדhag/GEDproclaimאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe wordשְׁקֹדshe/KODbe diligentבְּעִתּוֹbe/it/TOin its timeוּבְלֹאu/ve/LOand withoutעִתּוֹit/TOhis timeהוֹכַחho/KHACHrebukeגְּעַרge/ARrebukeהַזְהֵרhaz/HERurgeבְּכׇל־אֹרֶךְbe/KHOL-O/rekhwith all the length ofאַפַּיִםap/PA/yimangerוָלֶקַח׃va/LE/kachand teaching

   Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

   כִּיkibutתָבֹאta/VOwill comeעֵתetthe timeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenלֹא־יָכִילוּlo-ya/khi/LUthey will not bearאֶת־הַלֶּקַחet-hal/LE/kachthe teachingהַתָּמִיםhat/ta/MIMthe soundכִּיkibutאִם־כְּתַאֲוֹתֵיהֶםim-ke/ta/a/vo/te/HEMrather according to their desiresיִצְבְּרוּyits/be/RUthey will heap upלָהֶםla/HEMto themselvesמוֹרִיםmo/RIMteachersלְשַׁעֲשֻׁעֵיle/sha/a/shu/Efor the delight ofאׇזְנָיִם׃oz/NA/yimears

   For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4. 4

   וְיָסִירוּve/ya/SI/ruand turn awayאׇזְנֵיהֶםoz/ne/HEMtheir earsמִן־הָאֱמֶתmin-ha/e/METfrom the truthוְיִפְנוּve/yif/NUand turnאֶל־הַבַּדִּים׃el-hab/bad/DIMto fables

   And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

5. 5

   וְאַתָּהve/at/TAbut youהֱיֵהhe/YEbeעֵרerawakeבַּכֹּלbak/KOLin allסְבֹלse/VOLbearצָרוֹתtsa/ROTtroublesעֲשֵׂהa/SEdoמְלֶאכֶתme/LE/khetthe work ofמְבַשֵּׂרme/vas/SERone bringing good newsוּמַלֵּאu/mal/LEand fulfillאֶת־שֵׁרוּתְךָ׃et-she/rut/KHAyour ministry

   But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

6. 6

   כִּיkiforעַתָּהat/TAnowזֶהzealreadyאֻסַּךְus/SAKHI am poured outנָסֶךְNA/sekhas a drink offeringוְעֵתve/ETand the time ofצֵאתִיtse/TImy going outקָרְבָה׃ka/re/VAhas come near

   For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7. 7

   מִלְחָמָהmil/cha/MAwarטוֹבָהto/VAa goodנִלְחַמְתִּיnil/CHAM/tiI have foughtאֶת־מְרוּצָתִיet-me/ru/tsa/TImy raceהִשְׁלַמְתִּיhish/lam/TII have finishedאֶת־הָאֱמוּנָהet-ha/e/mu/NAthe faithשָׁמַרְתִּי׃sha/MAR/tiI have kept

   I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8. 8

   וּמֵעַתָּהu/me/at/TAand from now onצְפוּנָהtse/fu/NAis stored upלִיlifor meעֲטֶרֶתa/TE/reta crown ofצְדָקָהtse/da/KArighteousnessאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִתֵּןyit/TENwill giveלִיlito meהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordהַשֹּׁפֵטhash/sho/FETthe judgeהַצַּדִּיקhats/tsad/DIKrighteousבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatוְלֹאve/LOand notלִיlito meלְבַדִּיle/vad/DIonlyכִּיkibutאִם־גַּםim-gamrather alsoלְכׇל־אֹהֲבֵיle/KHOL-o/ha/VEto all who loveהֵרָאוֹתוֹ׃he/ra/o/TOhis appearing

   Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

   חוּשָׁהCHU/shahurryלָבוֹאla/VOto comeאֵלַיe/LAYto meבִּמְהֵרָה׃bim/he/RAsoon

   Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:

    כִּי־דִימָסki-Di/MASfor Demasעֲזָבַנִיa/za/VA/nihas left meבְּאַהֲבָתוֹbe/a/ha/va/TOin his love ofאֶת־הָעוֹלָםet-ha/o/LAMthe worldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוַיֵּלֶךְ־לוֹvay/YE/lekh-loand wentלְתַסְלוֹנִיקִיle/Tas/lo/ni/KIto Thessalonicaוּקְרִיסְקִיסu/Ke/ri/se/KISand Crescensהָלַךְha/LAKHwentלְגָלַטְיָהle/Ga/lat/YAto Galatiaוְטִיטוֹסve/Ti/TOSand Titusלְדַלְמָטְיָה׃le/Dal/ma/te/YAto Dalmatia

    For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

11. 11

    וְלוּקָסve/Lu/KASand Lukeהוּאhuisלְבַדּוֹle/vad/DOaloneעִמָּדִיim/ma/DIwith meקַחkachtakeאֶת־מַרְקוֹסet-Mar/KOSMarkוַהֲבִיאֵהוּva/ha/vi/e/HUand bring himאִתָּךְit/TAKHwith youכִּיkiforיוֹעִיל־לִּיyo/IL-lihe is useful to meלַשֵּׁרוּת׃lash/she/RUTfor the ministry

    Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.

12. 12

    אֶת־טוּכִיקוֹסet-Tu/khi/KOSTychicusשָׁלַחְתִּיsha/LACH/tiI sentלְאֶפְסוֹס׃le/Ef/SOSto Ephesus

    And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.

13. 13

    אֶת־הַמְּעִילet-ham/me/ILthe cloakאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהִנַּחְתִּיhin/nach/TII leftבִטְרוֹאַסVit/ro/ASat TroasאֵצֶלE/tselwithקַרְפּוֹסKar/POSCarpusבְּבֹאֲךָbe/vo/a/KHAwhen you comeהָבֵאha/VEbringאִתְּךָit/te/KHAwith youוְאֶת־הַסְּפָרִיםve/ET-has/se/fa/RIMand the booksוְיוֹתֵרve/yo/TERand moreאֶת־הַמְּגִלּוֹת׃et-ham/me/gil/LOTthe scrolls

    The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.

14. 14

    אֲלֶכְסַנְדְּרוֹסA/lekh/san/de/ROSAlexanderחָרַשׁcha/RASHthe smith ofהַנְּחֹשֶׁתhan/ne/CHO/shetbronzeעָשָׂהa/SAdidלִיlito meרָעוֹתra/OTevilsרַבּוֹתrab/BOTmanyיְשַׁלֶּם־לוֹye/shal/LEM-lowill repay himהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordכְּמַעֲשָׂיו׃ke/ma/a/SAYVaccording to his deeds

    Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:

15. 15

    וְגַם־אַתָּהve/GAM-at/TAand also youהִשָּׁמֶר־לְךָhish/SHA/mer-le/KHAbewareמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof himכִּיkiforעָמַדa/MADstoodמְאֹדme/ODgreatlyלְנֶגֶדle/NE/gedagainstדְּבָרֵינוּ׃de/va/re/NUour words

    Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.

16. 16

    בְּהִצְטַדְּקִיbe/hits/tad/de/KIin my defenseבָרִאשׁוֹנָהva/ri/sho/NAat firstלֹאlonoעָמַדa/MADstoodאִישׁisha manעִמִּיim/MIwith meכִּיkibutכֻלָּםkhul/LAMall of themעֲזָבוּנִיa/za/VU/nileft meוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iמִתְפַּלֵּלmit/pal/LELprayאֶל־הָאֱלֹהִיםel-ha/e/lo/HIMGodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotתֵחָשֵׁבte/cha/SHEVis countedלָהֶםla/HEMto themלְעָוֹן׃le/a/VONas iniquity

    At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.

17. 17

    וְהָאָדוֹןve/ha/a/DONand the Lordעָמַדa/MADstoodעִמִּיim/MIwith meוַיְחַזְּקֵנִיvay/chaz/ze/KE/niand he strengthened meלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatתִּוָּדַעtiv/va/DAmight be made knownהֵיטֵבhe/TEVwellעַל־יָדִיal-ya/DIby meהַקְּרִיאָהhak/ke/ri/Athe proclamationוְיִשְׁמְעוּve/yish/me/Uand will hearכׇּל־הַגּוֹיִםkol-Hag/go/YIMall the Gentilesוָאִנָּצֵלva/in/na/TSELand I was deliveredמִפִּיmip/PIout of the mouth ofאַרְיֵה׃ar/YEa lion

    Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

18. 18

    וְהָאָדוֹןve/ha/a/DONand the Lordיַצִּילֵנִיyats/tsi/LE/niwill deliver meמִכׇּל־מַעֲשֶׂהmik/KOL-ma/a/SEfrom every workרָעraevilוְיִשְׁמְרֵנִיve/yish/me/RE/niand will keep meלְמַלְכוּתוֹle/mal/khu/TOfor his kingdomאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isבַּשָּׁמָיִםbash/sha/MA/yimin heavenאֲשֶׁרa/SHERto whomלוֹloto himהַכָּבוֹדhak/ka/VODthe gloryלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMfor everוָעֶדva/EDand everאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

19. 19

    שְׁאַלshe/ALaskלִשְׁלוֹםlish/LOMafter the peace ofפְּרִיסְקָהPe/ri/se/KAPriscaוַעֲקִילַסva/A/ki/LASand Aquilaוּבֵיתu/VETand the house ofאֳנִיסִיפוֹרוֹס׃O/ni/si/fo/ROSOnesiphorus

    Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.

20. 20

    אֲרַסְטוֹסA/ras/TOSErastusנִשְׁאַרnish/ARremainedבְּקוֹרִנְתּוֹסbe/Ko/rin/TOSin Corinthוְאֶת־טְרוֹפִימוֹסve/ET-te/ro/fi/MOSand Trophimusהִנַּחְתִּיhin/nach/TII leftבְּמִילִיטוֹסbe/Mi/li/TOSin Miletusחֹלֶה׃cho/LEis sick

    Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.

21. 21

    חוּשָׁהCHU/shahurryלָבוֹאla/VOto comeלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַסְּתָיוhas/se/TAYVwinterאוֹבוּלוֹסO/vu/LOSEubulusוּפוּדִיסu/Fu/DISand Pudensוְלִינוֹסve/Li/NOSand Linusוּקְלוֹדְיָהu/Ke/lod/YAand Claudiaוְהָאַחִיםve/ha/a/CHIMand the brothersכֻּלָּםkul/LAMall of themשֹׁאֲלִיםsho/a/LIMaskלִשְׁלוֹמֶךָ׃lish/lo/ME/khaafter your peace

    Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.

22. 22

    הָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahיְהִיye/HIbeעִם־רוּחֶךָim-ru/CHE/khawith your spiritהַחֶסֶדha/CHE/sedgraceעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMwith youאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
