   וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisדַּעdaknowכִּיkithatבְּאַחֲרִיתbe/a/cha/RITin the end ofהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMthe daysיָבֹאוּya/VO/uwill comeעִתִּיםit/TIMtimesקָשׁוֹת׃ka/SHOThard

   This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2. 2

   כִּיkiforיִהְיוּyih/YUwill beהָאֲנָשִׁיםha/a/na/SHIMmenאֹהֲבֵיo/ha/VElovers ofנַפְשָׁםnaf/SHAMtheir soulאֹהֲבֵיo/ha/VElovers ofכֶסֶףKHE/sefsilverמִתְהַלְלִיםmit/hal/LIMboastersגֵּאִיםge/IMthe proudמְגַדְּפִיםme/gad/de/FIMrevilersמַמְרִיםmam/RIMrebelliousבְּהוֹרֵיהֶםbe/ho/re/HEMto their parentsאֵינָםe/NAMare notמוֹדִיםmo/DIMgive thanksטְמֵאִים׃te/me/IMunclean

   For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

   אֵיןenwithoutאַהֲבָהa/ha/VAloveבָּםbamin themמְפֵרֵיme/fe/REbreakers ofבְרִיתve/RITcovenantמַלְשִׁינִיםmal/shi/NIMslanderersאֵיןenwithoutמַעְצָרma/TSARself-controlלְרוּחָםle/ru/CHAMfor their spiritאַכְזָרִיםakh/za/RIMcruelבֹּזִיםbo/ZIMdespisers ofלַטּוֹבִים׃lat/to/VIMto those who are good

   Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

   בֹּגְדִיםbog/DIMtreacherousפֹּחֲזִיםpo/cha/ZIMrecklessגְּבֹהֵיge/vo/HEhigh ofלֵבlevheartאֹהֲבֵיo/ha/VElovers ofעֲדָנִיםa/da/NIMpleasuresמֵאֹהֲבֵיme/o/ha/VEmore than lovers ofאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMGod

   Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

   אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלָהֶםla/HEMto themצוּרַתtsu/RATthe form ofיִרְאַתyir/ATthe fear ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוּמְכַחֲשִׁיםu/me/kha/cha/SHIMand denyבְּכֹחָהּbe/kho/CHAits powerוּמֵאֵלֶּהu/me/EL/leand from theseסוּר׃surturn away

   Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

   כִּיkiforמֵהֶםme/HEMof themהַמִּתְגַּנְּבִיםham/mit/gan/ne/VIMare those who sneakאֶל־הַבָּתִּיםel-hab/bat/TIMinto housesוְשֹׁבִיםve/sho/VIMand take captiveנָשִׁיםna/SHIMwomenפֹּתוֹתpo/TOTfoolishכִּבְדוֹתkiv/DOTladen withחֲטָאִיםcha/ta/IMsinsנִדָּחוֹתnid/da/CHOTled awayבְּתַאֲוֹתbe/ta/a/VOTby desiresשׁוֹנוֹת׃sho/NOTvarious

   For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

   לֹמְדוֹתlom/DOTlearningתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysוּלְעוֹלָםu/le/o/LAMand everאֵינָןe/NANare notיְכֹלוֹתye/kho/LOTableלָבוֹאla/VOto comeלְדַעַתle/DA/atin the knowledge ofהָאֱמֶת׃ha/e/METthe truth

   Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

   וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand asיַנִּיסYan/NISJannesוְיַמְבְּרִיסve/Yam/be/RISand Jambresעָמְדוּa/me/DUstoodלְנֶגֶדle/NE/gedagainstמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesכֵּןkensoגַּם־אֵלֶּהgam-EL/lethese alsoעֹמְדִיםom/DIMstand againstלְנֶגֶדle/NE/gedagainstהָאֱמֶתha/e/METthe truthאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenנִשְׁחֲתֵיnish/cha/TEcorrupt ofמַחֲשָׁבוֹתma/cha/sha/VOTthoughtsנִמְאָסִיםnim/a/SIMrejectedבָּאֱמוּנָה׃ba/e/mu/NAin the faith

   Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

   אַךְakhbutלֹאlonoיוֹסִיפוּyo/SI/futhey will go onעֲבוֹרa/VORfurtherכִּיkiforאִוַּלְתָּםiv/val/TAMtheir follyתִּגָּלֶהtig/ga/LEmay be revealedלַכֹּלlak/KOLto allכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasנִגְלְתָהnig/le/TAwas revealedגַּםgamalsoאִוֶּלֶתiv/VE/letthe folly ofהָהֵם׃ha/HEMthose

   But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

    וְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youיָדַעְתָּya/DA/tahave knownהֵיטֵבhe/TEVwellאֶת־לִקְחִיet-lik/CHImy teachingדַּרְכִּיdar/KImy wayעֲצָתִיa/tsa/TImy counselאֱמוּנָתִיe/mu/na/TImy faithאֹרֶךְO/rekhlength ofאַפִּיap/PImy angerחַסְדִּיchas/DImy charityוְאֹרֶךְve/O/rekhand length ofרוּחִי׃ru/CHImy spirit

    But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

    מַשְׂטֵמוֹתmas/te/MOTpersecutionsוְצָרוֹתve/tsa/ROTand troublesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatמְצָאוּנִיme/tsa/U/nifound meבְּאַנְטְיוֹכְיָאbe/An/te/yokh/YAin Antiochבְּאִיקָנְיוֹןbe/I/ka/ne/YONin Iconiumבְּלוּסְטְרָאbe/Lus/te/RAat Lystraכַּמָּהkam/MAhow manyמַשְׂטֵמוֹתmas/te/MOTpersecutionsסָבַלְתִּיsa/val/TII boreוּמִכֻּלָּןu/mik/kul/LANand from all of themהִצִּילַנִיhits/tsi/la/NIdelivered meהָאָדוֹן׃ha/a/DONthe Lord

    Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

12. 12

    וְגַםve/GAMand alsoכׇּל־הַחֲפֵצִיםkol-ha/cha/fe/TSIMall who wantלִחְיוֹתlich/YOTliveבַּחֲסִידוּתba/cha/si/DUTin godlinessבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the MessiahיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusיֵרָדֵפוּ׃ye/ra/de/FUwill be persecuted

    Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

13. 13

    וַאֲנָשִׁיםva/a/na/SHIMand menרָעִיםra/IMevilוּמַדִּיחִיםu/mad/di/CHIMand seducersיוֹסִיפוּyo/SI/fuwill go onלְהָרֵעַle/ha/RE/ato do evilמַתְעִיםmat/IMleading astrayוְנִתְעִים׃ve/nit/IMand led astray

    But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

14. 14

    וְאַתָּהve/at/TAbut youעֲמֹדa/MODstandבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERin whatלָמַדְתָּla/mad/TAyou learnedוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERandנֶאֶמְנוּne/em/NUwere confirmedלְךָle/KHAto youבְּדַעְתְּךָbe/da/te/KHAknowingמִמִּיmim/MIfrom whomלְמַדְתָּם׃le/mad/TAMyou learned them

    But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

15. 15

    וְכִיve/KHIand thatמִנְּעוּרֶיךָmin/ne/u/RE/khafrom your youthיָדַעְתָּya/DA/tayou have knownאֶת־כִּתְבֵיet-kit/VEthe writings ofהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshholinessהַיְכֹלִיםhay/kho/LIMwhich are ableלְהַחְכִּימְךָle/hach/ki/me/KHAto make you wiseלִישׁוּעָהli/shu/Ato salvationבָּאֱמוּנָהba/e/mu/NAby faithאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahיֵשׁוּעַ׃Ye/SHU/aJesus

    And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16. 16

    כׇּל־הַכָּתוּבkol-hak/ka/TUVall that is writtenנִתַּןnit/TANis givenבְּרוּחַbe/RU/achby the Spirit ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוּמוֹעִילu/mo/ILand is profitableלְלַמֵּדle/lam/MEDto teachלְהוֹכִיחַle/ho/KHI/achto rebukeלְיַסֵּרle/yas/SERto disciplineוּלְהַשְׂכִּילu/le/has/KILand to comprehendבַּצְּדָקָה׃bats/tse/da/KAin righteousness

    All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17. 17

    לְמַעַןle/MA/ansoיִהְיֶהyih/YEmay beאִישׁishthe man ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodתָּמִיםta/MIMcompleteמוּכָןmu/KHANpreparedלְכׇל־מַעֲשֶׂהle/KHOL-ma/a/SEfor every workטוֹב׃tovgood

    That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
