   סוֹףsofthe endדָּבָרda/VARthe matterאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersהִתְפַּלֲלוּhit/pa/la/LUprayבַעֲדֵנוּva/a/DE/nufor usלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיָרוּץya/RUTSmay runדְּבַרde/VARthe word ofיְהוָֹהAdonaithe LORDוְיִכָּבֵדve/yik/ka/VEDand be glorifiedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHEReven asגַּםgamalsoבְּקִרְבְּכֶם׃be/kir/be/KHEMamong you

   Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

   וּלְמַעַןu/le/MA/anand thatנִנָּצֵלnin/na/TSELwe may be deliveredמִן־הָאֲנָשִׁיםmin-ha/a/na/SHIMfrom the menהַנִּבְעָרִיםhan/niv/a/RIMsenselessוְהָרָעִיםve/ha/ra/IMand evilכִּיkiforלֹאlonotלְכׇל־אָדָםle/KHOL-a/DAMto all menהָאֱמוּנָה׃ha/e/mu/NAis the faith

   And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

   אֲבָלa/VALbutנֶאֱמָןne/e/MANfaithfulהוּאhuisהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיְחַזֵּקye/chaz/ZEKwill strengthenאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוְיִשְׁמׇרְכֶםve/yish/mor/KHEMand guard youמִן־הָרָע׃min-ha/RAfrom evil

   But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

   וּבֹטְחִיםu/vot/CHIMand we trustאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweבָּאָדוֹןba/a/DONin the Lordעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMabout youכִּיkithatאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhatנְצַוֶּהne/tsav/VEwe commandאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouגַּםgambothעֹשִׂיםo/SIMdoאַתֶּםat/TEMyouוְגַםve/GAMand alsoתַּעֲשׂוּ׃ta/a/SUyou will do

   And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

   וְהָאָדוֹןve/ha/a/DONand the Lordיְיַשֵּׁרye/yash/SHERmake straightאֶת־לְבַבְכֶםet-le/vav/KHEMyour heartsלְאַהֲבַתle/a/ha/VATto the love ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוּלְקַוּוֹתu/le/kav/VOTand to hope forלַמָּשִׁיחַlam/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahבְּאֹרֶךְbe/O/rekhin the patience ofרוּחַ׃RU/achspirit

   And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

   וּמְצַוִּיםu/me/tsav/VIMand we commandאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahכִּיkithatתִּבָּדְלוּtib/ba/de/LUyou separateמִכׇּל־אָחmik/KOL-achfrom every brotherהַמִּתְהַלֵּךְham/mit/hal/LEKHwho walksבְּלֹאbe/LOwithoutסְדָרִיםse/da/RIMorderוְלֹאve/LOand notכַּקַּבָּלָהkak/kab/ba/LAaccording to the traditionאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלָקַחla/KACHhe receivedמֵאִתָּנוּ׃me/it/TA/nufrom us

   Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

   כִּיkiforאַתֶּםat/TEMyouיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMknowאֵיךְekhhowעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMon youלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto walkבְּעִקְּבוֹתֵינוּbe/ik/ke/vo/te/NUin our footstepsכִּיkiforלֹאlonotהִתְהַלַּכְנוּhit/hal/LAKH/nuwe walkedבְּלֹאbe/LOwithoutסְדָרִיםse/da/RIMorderבְּתוֹכֲכֶם׃be/to/kha/KHEMamong you

   For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

   וְגַםve/GAMand alsoלֹא־אָכַלְנוּlo-a/KHAL/nuwe did not eatלֶחֶםLE/chemthe bread ofאִישׁishany manחִנָּםchin/NAMwithout costכִּיkibutפָעַלְנוּfa/al/NUwe workedבְּעָמָלbe/a/MALwith toilוּבִתְלָאָהu/vit/la/Aand hardshipלַיְלָהLAY/lanightוְיוֹמָםve/yo/MAMand dayלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TIso as notהַכְבִּידhakh/BIDburdenעַל־אִישׁal-ishon any manמִכֶּם׃mik/KEMof you

   Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

9. 9

   לֹאlonotכִּיkibutאֵיןenthere is notלָנוּLA/nuto usרִשְׁיוֹןrish/YONa rightכִּיkibutאִם־לָתֵתim-la/TETrather to giveאֶת־נַפְשֵׁנוּet-naf/SHE/nuourselvesלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלְמוֹפֵתle/mo/FETas an exampleלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto walkבְּעִקְּבוֹתֵינוּ׃be/ik/ke/vo/te/NUin our footsteps

   Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

    כִּיkiforגַּםgamevenבִּהְיוֹתֵנוּbih/yo/TE/nuwhen we wereעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMwith youאֶת־זֹאתet-zotthisצִוִּינוּtsiv/vi/NUwe commandedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouכִּיkithatאִם־אִישׁim-ishif a manלֹאlonotיֹאבֶהyo/VEis willingלַעֲבֹדla/a/VODto workגַּםgamneitherאַל־יֹאכַל׃al-yo/KHALlet not eat

    For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

    כִּיkiforשָׁמַעְנוּsha/MA/nuwe hearכִּיkithatיֵשׁyeshthere areבָּכֶםba/KHEMamong youאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenמִתְהַלְּכִיםmit/hal/le/KHIMwalkingבְּלֹאbe/LOwithoutסְדָרִיםse/da/RIMorderוְאֵינָםve/e/NAMand are notעֹשִׂיםo/SIMdoingמְאוּמָהme/U/maat allכִּיkibutאִם־מִתְגַּלְּעִים׃im-mit/gal/le/IMrather meddling

    For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

12. 12

    וְאֶת־הָאֲנָשִׁיםve/ET-ha/a/na/SHIMand the menכָּאֵלֶּהka/EL/lesuchנְצַוֶּהne/tsav/VEwe commandוְנַזְהִירve/naz/HIRand urgeבַּאֲדֹנֵינוּba/a/do/NE/nuby our LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahכִּיkithatבְּנַחַתbe/NA/chatin quietnessיַעַבְדוּya/av/DUthey workוְיֹאכְלוּve/yo/khe/LUand eatאֶת־לַחְמָם׃et-lach/MAMtheir bread

    Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

13. 13

    וְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersאַל־תִּלְאוּal-til/Udo not be wearyבַּעֲשׂוֹתba/a/SOTin doingטוֹב׃tovwell

    But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

14. 14

    וְאִםve/IMand ifלֹא־יִשְׁמַעlo-yish/MAdoes not listenאִישׁishanyoneאֶל־דְּבָרֵנוּel-de/va/RE/nuto our wordבָּאִגֶּרֶתba/ig/GE/retin the letterהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisאֹתוֹo/TOhimתִרְשְׁמוּtir/she/MUmarkלָכֶםla/KHEMfor yourselvesוְאַל־תִּתְעָרֲבוּve/AL-tit/a/ra/VUand do not mixעִמּוֹim/MOwith himלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיֵבוֹשׁ׃ye/VOSHhe may be ashamed

    And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

15. 15

    אַךְakhbutלֹא־כְאֹיֵבlo-khe/o/YEVnot as an enemyתַּחְשְׁבֻהוּtach/she/vu/HUcount himכִּיkibutאִם־תּוֹכִיחֻהוּim-to/khi/chu/HUrather admonish himכְּאָח׃ke/ACHas a brother

    Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

16. 16

    וַאֲדוֹןva/a/DONand the Lord ofהַשָּׁלוֹםhash/sha/LOMpeaceהוּאhuhimselfיִתֵּןyit/TENgiveלָכֶםla/KHEMto youשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysבְּכׇל־דֶּרֶךְbe/KHOL-DE/rekhin every wayיְהִיye/HIbeהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordעִם־כֻּלְּכֶם׃im-kul/le/KHEMwith all of you

    Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

17. 17

    שֹׁאֵלsho/ELasksלִשְׁלוֹמְכֶםlish/lom/KHEMafter your peaceבִּכְתָבbikh/TAVin the writing ofיָדִיya/DImy handאֲנִיa/NIIפוֹלוֹסFo/LOSPaulוְהִיאve/HIand this isהָאוֹתha/OTthe signבְּכׇל־אִגֶּרֶתbe/KHOL-ig/GE/retin every letterכֵּןkensoאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIכֹתֵב׃kho/TEVwrite

    The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.

18. 18

    חֶסֶדCHE/sedgraceאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahיְהִיye/HIbeעִם־כֻּלְּכֶםim-kul/le/KHEMwith all of youאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
