   כִּיkiforאֵין־צֹרֶךְen-TSO/rekhthere is no needלִיlifor meלִכְתֹּבlikh/TOVto writeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youעַל־דְּבַרal-de/VARconcerningהַשֵּׁרוּתhash/she/RUTthe serviceלַקְּדֹשִׁים׃lak/ke/do/SHIMfor the saints

   For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:

   כִּיkibecauseיָדַעְתִּיya/DA/tiI knowאֶת־נִדְבַתet-nid/VATthe willingness ofלִבְּכֶםlib/be/KHEMyour heartאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעָלֶיהָa/LE/haabout itאֲנִיa/NIIמִתְהַלֵּלmit/hal/LELboastבָּכֶםba/KHEMabout youלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEthe men ofמַקְדּוֹנְיָאMak/don/YAMacedoniaלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאֲכַיָּאA/khay/YAAchaiaנְכוֹנָהne/kho/NAwas readyזֶהzethisשָׁנָהsha/NAa yearוְקִנְאַתְכֶםve/kin/at/KHEMand your zealהֵעִירָהhe/i/RAhas stirredאֶת־רוּחַet-RU/achthe spirit ofהָרַבִּים׃ha/rab/BIMthe many

   For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.

   אֲבָלa/VALyetשָׁלַחְתִּיsha/LACH/tiI sentאֶת־הָאַחִיםet-ha/a/CHIMthe brothersפֶּןpenlestתִהְיֶהtih/YEshould beתְּהִלָּתֵנוּte/hil/la/te/NUour boastingבָכֶםva/KHEMabout youלָרִיקla/RIKemptyבַּדָּבָרbad/da/VARin the matterהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוּלְמַעַןu/le/MA/anand so thatתִּהְיוּtih/YUyou may beנְכוֹנִיםne/kho/NIMreadyכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasאָמַרְתִּי׃a/MAR/tiI said

   Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:

   פֶּןpenlestיָבֹאוּya/VO/ucomeאִתִּיit/TIwith meאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEmen ofמַקְדּוֹנְיָאMak/don/YAMacedoniaוּמָצְאוּu/ma/tse/Uand findאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouבִּלְתִּיbil/TInotנְכוֹנִיםne/kho/NIMreadyוְנֵבוֹשׁve/ne/VOSHand be ashamedאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweלֹאlonotנֹאמַרno/MARwe sayאַתֶּםat/TEMyouמֵהַבִּטָּחוֹןme/hab/bit/ta/CHONfrom the confidenceהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהִתְהַלַּלְנוּhit/hal/lal/NUwe boastedבוֹ׃voin it

   Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeחָשַׁבְתִּיcha/SHAV/tiI thoughtכִּיkithatעָלַיa/LAYon meלְהַזְהִירle/haz/HIRto urgeאֶת־הָאַחִיםet-ha/a/CHIMthe brothersכִּיkithatיְקַדְּמוּye/kad/de/MUwill go beforeלָבֹאla/VOto comeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youוְיָכִינוּve/ya/khi/NUand prepareמֵרֹאשׁme/ROSHbeforehandאֶת־בִּרְכַתְכֶםet-bir/khat/KHEMyour blessingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהֻגְּדָהhug/ge/DAwas announcedלָכֶםla/KHEMyouמִלְּפָנִיםmil/le/fa/NIMformerlyלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתִּהְיֶהtih/YEmight beהִיאhiitנְכוֹנָהne/kho/NAreadyכִּבְרָכָהkiv/ra/KHAas a blessingוְלֹאve/LOand notכְּבֶצַע׃ke/VE/tsaas covetousness

   Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.

   וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisאֹמַרo/MARI sayהַזֹּרֵעַhaz/zo/RE/athe one who sowsמְעַטme/ATa littleגַּםgamalsoמְעַטme/ATa littleיִקְצֹרyik/TSORwill reapוְהַזֹּרֵעַve/haz/zo/RE/aand the one who sowsבִּבְרָכוֹתbiv/ra/KHOTwith blessingsגַּםgamalsoבִּבְרָכוֹתbiv/ra/KHOTwith blessingsיִקְצֹר׃yik/TSORwill reap

   But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

   כׇּל־אִישׁkol-ishevery manכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיִדְּבֶנּוּyid/de/VEN/numoves himלִבּוֹlib/BOhis heartכֵּןkensoיִתֵּןyit/TENlet him giveלֹאlonotבְעַיִןve/A/yingrudginglyרָעָהra/Aevilוְאֵיןve/ENand notאֹנֵסo/NEScompelledכִּיkiforהַנֹּתֵןhan/no/TENthe giverבְּלֵבbe/LEVwith a heartשָׂמֵחַsa/ME/achgladיֶאֱהַבye/e/HAVlovesאֹתוֹo/TOhimאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMGod

   Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

8. 8

   וְהָאֱלֹהִיםve/ha/e/lo/HIMand Godיָכֹלya/KHOLis ableלְהַרְבּוֹתle/har/BOTto increaseעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMon youכׇּל־חֶסֶדkol-CHE/sedall graceלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיִהְיֶהyih/YEwill beלָכֶםla/KHEMto youבְּכׇל־עֵתbe/KHOL-etalwaysדֵּיdeenough forבַּכֹּלbak/KOLin all thingsוְתוֹתִירוּve/to/TI/ruand you will aboundלְכׇל־מַעֲשֶׂהle/KHOL-ma/a/SEfor every workטוֹב׃tovgood

   And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

9. 9

   כַּכָּתוּבkak/ka/TUVas it is writtenפִּזַּרpiz/ZARhe scatteredנָתַןna/TANhe gaveלָאֶבְיוֹנִיםla/ev/yo/NIMto the needyצִדְקָתוֹtsid/ka/TOhis righteousnessעֹמֶדֶתo/ME/detstandsלָעַד׃la/ADforever

   (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

10. 10

    וְהַנֹּתֵןve/han/No/TENand the One who givesזֶרַעZE/raseedלַזֹּרֵעַlaz/zo/RE/ato the sowerיִתֵּןyit/TENwill giveלֶחֶםLE/chembreadלְאׇכְלְכֶםle/okh/le/KHEMfor your foodוְיַרְבֶּהve/yar/BEand multiplyאֶת־זַרְעֲכֶםet-zar/a/KHEMyour seedוְיַגְדִּילve/yag/DILand increaseתְּנוּבוֹתte/nu/VOTthe produce ofצִדְקַתְכֶם׃tsid/kat/KHEMyour righteousness

    Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

11. 11

    בִּהְיוֹתְכֶםbih/yot/KHEMbeingעֲשִׁירִיםa/shi/RIMrichבַּכֹּלbak/KOLin allלְכׇל־נְדָבָהle/KHOL-ne/da/VAto all bountifulnessאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatמְבִיאָהme/vi/Abringsעַל־יָדֵינוּal-ya/DE/nuthrough usתּוֹדָהto/DAthanksgivingלֵאלֹהִים׃le/lo/HIMto God

    Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

12. 12

    כִּיkibutשֵׁרוּתshe/RUTthe service ofהָעֲבוֹדָהha/a/vo/DAthe workהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלֹאlonotלְבַדle/VADonlyתְּמַלֵּאte/mal/LEfillsאֶת־מַחְסֹרֵיet-mach/so/REthe lacks ofהַקְּדוֹשִׁיםhak/ke/do/SHIMthe saintsכִּיkibutאִם־גַּםim-gamrather alsoתַּרְבֶּהtar/BEaboundsבְּתוֹדוֹתbe/to/DOTby thanksgivingsרַבּוֹתrab/BOTmanyלֵאלֹהִים׃le/lo/HIMto God

    For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;

13. 13

    בַּבֹּחַןbab/BO/chanby the testingהַשֵּׁרוּתhash/she/RUTthe serviceהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisיְכַבְּדוּye/khab/be/DUthey will glorifyאֶת־הָאֱלֹהִיםet-ha/e/lo/HIMGodעַל־מִשְׁמַעַתְכֶםal-mish/ma/at/KHEMfor your obedienceלִבְשׂוֹרַתliv/so/RATto the gospel ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהוֹדֵיתֶםho/de/TEMyou confessedוְעַל־נִדְבַתve/AL-nid/VATand for the willingness ofחֶבְרַתְכֶםchev/rat/KHEMyour fellowshipעִמָּהֶםim/ma/HEMwith themוְעִםve/IMand withהַכֹּל׃hak/KOLall

    Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;

14. 14

    וּבִתְפִלָּתָםu/vit/fil/la/TAMand by their prayerבַּעַדְכֶםba/ad/KHEMfor youנִכְסָפִיםnikh/sa/FIMlongingלָכֶםla/KHEMfor youבַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURbecause ofחֶסֶדCHE/sedthe grace ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatגָּבַרga/VARhas prevailedעֲלֵיכֶם׃a/le/KHEMover you

    And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.

15. 15

    וְתוֹדָהve/to/DAand thanksלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godעַל־מַתְּנָתוֹal-mat/te/na/TOfor His giftאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעָצְמָהa/tse/MAis mightyמִסַּפֵּר׃mis/sap/PERto tell

    Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
