    עַל־כֵּןthereforeבִּהְיוֹתseeing-we-haveלָנוּto-usהַשֵּׁרוּתthe-ministryהַזֶּהthisכַּאֲשֶׁרasחֻנַּנּוּwe-have-received-mercyלֹאnotנֵחָת׃we-faint

    Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

    כִּיbutמָאַסְנוּhave-renouncedבְּסִתְרֵיthe-hidden-things-ofבשֶׁתshameשֶׁלּאnotלְהִתְנַהֵגwalkingכְּמִנְהַגin-the-manner-ofעׇרְמָהcraftinessוְלֹאnorלְעַקֵּםhandling-deceitfullyאֶת־דְּבַרthe-word-ofהָאֱלֹהִיםGodאֶלָּאbutנִגְלִינוּwe-commend-ourselvesנֶגֶדtoדַּעַתthe-conscience-ofכׇּל־בְּנֵיall-the-sons-ofאָדָםmenלִפְנֵיin-the-sight-ofהָאֱלֹהִיםGodבְּהַרְאוֹתby-manifestation-ofהָאֱמֶת׃the-truth

    But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

    וְאִם־נֶעֱלָמָהbut-if-be-hidבְּשׂוֹרָתֵנוּour-gospelנֶעֱלָמָהit-is-hidהִיאitמִן־הָאֹבְדִים׃to-them-that-are-lost

    But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

    אֲשֶׁרin-whomאֵלthe-god-ofהָעוֹלָםworldהַזֶּהthisעִוֵּרhath-blindedבָּהֶםin-themאֶת־מַחְשְׁבוֹתthe-minds-ofחַסְרֵיthem-which-lackהָאֱמוּנָהfaithלְבִלְתִּיlestזְרֹחַshould-shineלָהֶםunto-themנֹגַהּthe-light-ofבְּשׂוֹרַתthe-gospel-ofכְּבוֹדthe-glory-ofהַמָּשִׁיחַthe-Messiahאֲשֶׁרwhoהוּאisצֶלֶםthe-image-ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃God

    In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

    כִּיforלֹאnotאֹתָנוּourselvesמַכְרִיזִיםpreachאֲנַחְנוּweכִּיbutאִם־אֶת־הַמָּשִׁיחַthe-MessiahיֵשׁוּעַJesusלֵאמֹרsayingהוּאhe-isהָאָדוֹןthe-Lordוַאֲנַחְנוּand-ourselvesעַבְדֵיכֶםyour-servantsלְמַעַןfor-the-sake-ofיֵשׁוּעַ׃Jesus

    For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

    כִּיforהָאֱלֹהִיםGodאֲשֶׁרwhoאָמַרcommandedוַיֹּפַעto-shineאוֹרthe-lightמֵחֹשֶׁךְout-of-darknessהוּאheהוֹפִיעַhath-shinedבְּלִבֵּנוּin-our-heartsלְהָפִיץto-giveאוֹרthe-light-ofדַּעַתthe-knowledge-ofכְּבוֹדthe-glory-ofהָאֱלֹהִיםGodאֲשֶׁרwhich-isבִּפְנֵיin-the-face-ofהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃the-Messiah

    For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

    וְהָאוֹצָרbut-this-treasureהַזֶּהthisלָנוּwe-haveבִּכְלֵיin-vessels-ofחָרֶשׂearthenלְמַעַןthatאֲשֶׁר־תִּהְיֶהmay-beהַגְּבוּרָהthe-powerהַיְתֵרָהthe-excellency-ofלֵאלֹהִיםof-Godוְלֹאand-notמֵאִתָּנוּ׃of-us

    But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

    נִלְחָצִיםtroubledאֲנַחְנוּwe-areבַּכֹּלon-every-sideוְלֹאyet-notנִדְכָּאִיםdistressedדֹּאֲגִיםperplexedוְלֹאbut-notנוֹאָשִׁים׃in-despair

    We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

    נִרְדָּפִיםpersecutedוְלֹאbut-notנְטוּשִׁיםforsakenמֻשְׁלָכִיםcast-downוְלֹאbut-notאֹבְדִים׃destroyed

    Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

  10. 10

    וְנֹשְׂאִיםand-bearing-aboutבְּכׇל־עֵתalwaysמִיתַתthe-dying-ofהָאָדוֹןthe-LordיֵשׁוּעַJesusבִּגְוִיָּתֵנוּin-our-bodyלְמַעַןthatיִגָּלוּmight-be-made-manifestגַם־חַיֵּיalso-the-life-ofיֵשׁוּעַJesusבִּגְוִיָּתֵנוּ׃in-our-body

    Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

    כִּיbecauseאֲנַחְנוּweהַחַיִּיםwhich-liveמְסוּרִיםare-deliveredתָּמִידalwayלַמָּוֶתunto-deathבַּעֲבוּרfor-the-sake-ofיֵשׁוּעַJesusלְמַעַןthatיִגָּלוּmight-be-made-manifestגַּם־חַיֵּיalso-the-life-ofיֵשׁוּעַJesusבִּבְשָׂרֵנוּin-our-fleshבְּשַׂרthe-fleshהַתְּמוּתָה׃mortal

    For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

    לָכֵןso-thenבָּנוּin-usיֶאֱמַץworkethהַמָּוֶתdeathוּבָכֶםbut-in-youהַחַיִּים׃life

    So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

  13. 13

    וּבִהְיוֹתand-havingלָנוּweהָרוּחַthe-spiritהַהוּאsameשֶׁל־הָאֱמוּנָהof-faithכַּדָּבָרaccording-asהַכָּתוּבit-is-writtenהֶאֱמַנְתִּיI-believedכִּי־אֲדַבֵּרtherefore-I-speakגַּם־אֲנַחְנוּwe-alsoנַאֲמִיןbelieveוְעַל־כֵּןand-thereforeנְדַבֵּר׃speak

    We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

    בַּאֲשֶׁרsinceיָדַעְנוּwe-knowכִּיthatהַמֵּעִירhe-which-raised-upאֶת־הָאָדוֹןthe-LordיֵשׁוּעַJesusיָעִירshall-raise-upגַּם־אֹתָנוּus-alsoעִם־יֵשׁוּעַby-Jesusוְיַעֲמִידֵנוּand-shall-present-usעִמָּכֶם׃with-you

    Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

  15. 15

    כִּיbecauseכׇל־זֹאתall-things-areלְמַעַנְכֶםfor-your-sakesלְמַעַןthatאֲשֶׁר־יִרְבֶּהmight-aboundהַחֶסֶדthe-graceעַל־יְדֵיthroughרַבִּיםmanyוְתִפְרֹץand-aboundהַתּוֹדָהthe-thanksgivingלִכְבוֹדto-the-glory-ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃God

    For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

    עַל־כֵּןfor-which-causeלֹאnotנֵחָתwe-faintוְאַףbutאִם־יִכְלֶהthough-perishבָנוּourהָאָדָםmanהַחִיצוֹןoutwardהִנֵּהyetהָאָדָםthe-manהַפְּנִימִיinwardיִתְחַדֵּשׁis-renewedיוֹםdayיוֹם׃by-day

    For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

  17. 17

    כִּיforלַחֲצֵנוּour-afflictionשֶׁהוּאwhich-isקַלlightוְאֵינוֹand-is-notאֶלָּאbutלְרָגַעfor-a-momentיָבִיאworketh-forלָנוּusכְּבוֹדa-weight-of-gloryעוֹלָמִיםeternalגָּדוֹלgreatוָרָבand-abundantעַד־לִמְאֹד׃exceedingly

    For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

  18. 18

    בַּאֲשֶׁרwhileלֹאnotנְצַפֶּהwe-lookאֶל־הַדְּבָרִיםat-the-thingsהַנִּרְאִיםwhich-are-seenכִּיbutאִםratherאֶל־אֲשֶׁרat-the-things-whichאֵינָםare-notנִרְאִיםseenכִּיforהַנִּרְאִיםthe-things-which-are-seenלְשָׁעָהtemporalהֵמָּהareוַאֲשֶׁרbut-the-things-whichאֵינָםare-notנִרְאִיםseenקַיָּמִיםare-eternalלְעוֹלָם׃for-ever

    While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
