   This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

   הִגַּדְתִּיhig/GAD/tiI toldלָכֶםla/KHEMyouמִלְּפָנִיםmil/le/fa/NIMbeforeוְאַגִּידve/ag/GIDand I tellלָכֶםla/KHEMyouכִּהְיוֹתִיkih/yo/TIas when I wasקָרוֹבka/ROVnearבַּפַּעַםbap/PA/amin the timeהַשֵּׁנִיתhash/she/NITsecondוּבִהְיוֹתִיu/vih/yo/TIand when I wasרָחוֹקra/CHOKfarעַתָּהat/TAnowאֶכְתֹּבekh/TOVI will writeלַאֲשֶׁרla/a/SHERto those whoחָטְאוּcha/te/Usinnedמִלְּפָנִיםmil/le/fa/NIMformerlyוּלְכׇל־הַנִּשְׁאָרִיםu/le/KHOL-han/nish/a/RIMand to all the restכִּיkithatאִם־אָשׁוּבim-a/SHUVif I returnעוֹדodagainלֹאlonotאֶחְשֹׂךְ׃ech/SOKHI will spare

   I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:

   יַעַןYA/anbecauseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתְּבַקְשׁוּte/vak/SHUdo you seekבֹּחַןBO/chana proof ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahהַמְדַבֵּרham/dab/BERwho speaksבִּיbiin meאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nuis notחַלָּשׁchal/LASHweakאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youכִּיkibutאִם־גִּבּוֹרim-gib/BORrather mightyבָּכֶם׃ba/KHEMin you

   Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.

   כִּיkiforאִם־גַּם־נִצְלַבim-gam-nits/LAVeven if he was crucifiedבְּחֻלְשָׁהbe/chul/SHAin weaknessאָכֵןa/KHENyetחַיchaylivesהוּאhuheבִּגְבוּרַתbig/vu/RATby the power ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodכִּיkiforגַּם־חַלָּשִׁיםgam-chal/la/SHIMalso weakבּוֹboin himאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuwe areאָכֵןa/KHENyetנִחְיֶהnich/YEwe will liveעִמּוֹim/MOwith himבִּגְבוּרַתbig/vu/RATby the power ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֲלֵיכֶם׃a/le/KHEMtoward you

   For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

   בַּחֲנוּba/cha/NUtestאֶת־נַפְשְׁכֶםet-naf/she/KHEMyourselvesאִםimwhetherבָּאֱמוּנָהba/e/mu/NAin the faithאַתֶּםat/TEMyouנַסּוּnas/SUtestאֶת־נַפְשְׁכֶםet-naf/she/KHEMyourselvesהַאֵינְכֶםha/e/ne/KHEMdo you notיֹדְעִיםyod/IMknowאֶת־נַפְשְׁכֶםet-naf/she/KHEMyourselvesכִּיkihow thatיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahבְּקִרְבְּכֶםbe/kir/be/KHEMis within youאִם־לֹאim-lounlessנִמְאָסִיםnim/a/SIMrejectedאַתֶּם׃at/TEMyou are

   Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

   אֲבָלa/VALbutאֲקַוֶּהa/kav/VEI hopeכִּיkithatתֵדְעוּted/Uyou knowכִּיkithatאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweלֹאlonotנִמְאָסִים׃nim/a/SIMrejected

   But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.

   וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iמִתְפַּלֵּלmit/pal/LELprayאֶל־הָאֱלֹהִיםel-ha/e/lo/HIMwith Godלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TIthat notתַעֲשׂוּta/a/SUdoכׇל־רָעkhol-raany evilלֹאlonotלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatנֵרָאֶהne/ra/Ewe may appearאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweבְּחוּנִיםbe/chu/NIMapprovedכִּיkibutאִם־לְמַעַןim-le/MA/anrather so thatתַּעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou doאַתֶּםat/TEMyouאֶת־הַטּוֹבet-hat/TOVthe goodוַאֲנַחְנוּva/a/NACH/nuand weנִהְיֶהnih/YEbeכְּנִמְאָסִים׃ke/nim/a/SIMas rejected

   Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

   כִּיkiforאֵיןennotאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweיְכוֹלִיםye/kho/LIMableלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTdoדָּבָרda/VARanythingלְנֶגֶדle/NE/gedagainstהָאֱמֶתha/e/METthe truthכִּיkibutאִם־בְּעַדim-be/ADrather forהָאֱמֶת׃ha/e/METthe truth

   For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

   כִּיkiforנִשְׂמַחnis/MACHwe rejoiceאִם־חַלָּשִׁיםim-chal/la/SHIMwhen weakאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuwe areוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youגִּבּוֹרִיםgib/bo/RIMstrongוְעַל־זֹאתve/AL-zotand for thisגַּם־מִתְפַּלְּלִיםgam-mit/pal/le/LIMalso prayאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweעַל־תִּכְלַתְכֶם׃al-tikh/lat/KHEMfor your perfection

   For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeאֶת־אֵלֶּהet-EL/lethese thingsאֲנִיa/NIIכֹתֵבkho/TEVwriteבִּהְיוֹתִיbih/yo/TIbeingרָחוֹקra/CHOKfarפֶּןpenlestבִּהְיוֹתִיbih/yo/TIbeingקָרוֹבka/ROVnearאֲדַבֵּרa/dab/BERI speakקָשׁוֹתka/SHOThardלְפִיle/FIaccording toהָרִשְׁיוֹןha/rish/YONthe authorityאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָתַןna/TANgaveלִיlimeהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordלִבְנוֹתliv/NOTto buildוְלֹאve/LOand notלַהֲרֹס׃la/ha/ROSto tear down

    Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.

    סוֹףsofthe end ofדָּבָרda/VARthe matterאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersשִׂמְחוּsim/CHUrejoiceהֱיוּhe/YUbeתְמִימִיםte/mi/MIMperfectהִתְנַחֲמוּhit/na/cha/MUbe comfortedוִיהִיvi/HIand let beלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלֵבlevheartאֶחָדe/CHADoneוִחְיוּvich/YUand liveבְשָׁלוֹםve/sha/LOMin peaceוֵאלֹהֵיve/lo/HEand the God ofהָאַהֲבָהha/a/ha/VAloveוְהַשָּׁלוֹםve/hash/sha/LOMand peaceיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beעִמָּכֶם׃im/ma/KHEMwith you

    Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

    שַׁאֲלוּsha/a/LUaskאִישׁisheachלְרֵעֵהוּle/re/E/huhis neighborלְשָׁלוֹםle/sha/LOMfor peaceבַּנְּשִׁיקָהban/ne/shi/KAwith the kissהַקְּדוֹשָׁה׃hak/ke/do/SHAholy

    Greet one another with an holy kiss.

    הַקְּדוֹשִׁיםhak/ke/do/SHIMthe saintsכֻּלָּםkul/LAMall of themשֹׁאֲלִיםsho/a/LIMaskלִשְׁלוֹמְכֶם׃lish/lom/KHEMafter your peace

    All the saints salute you.

    חֶסֶדCHE/sedthe grace ofהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahוְאַהֲבַתve/a/ha/VATand the love ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוְחֶבְרַתve/chev/RATand the communion ofרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁRU/ach-Hak/KO/deshthe Holy Spiritיְהִיye/HIbeעִם־כֻּלְּכֶםim-kul/le/KHEMwith you allאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
