   Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.

   כִּיkiforמְקַנֵּאme/kan/NEjealousאֲנִיa/NII amלָכֶםla/KHEMfor youקִנְאַתkin/ATwith the jealousy ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodכִּיkiforאֵרַשְׂתִּיe/RAS/tiI betrothedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouלְאִישׁle/ISHto a husbandאֶחָדe/CHADoneלְהַעֲמִידle/ha/a/MIDto presentאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouכִּבְתוּלָהkiv/tu/LAlike a virginטְהוֹרָהte/ho/RApureלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

   For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

   אֲבָלa/VALbutיָרֵאya/REI fearאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIפֶּןpenlestכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהִשִּׁיאhish/SHIdeceivedהַנָּחָשׁhan/na/CHASHthe serpentאֶת־חַוָּהet-Chav/VAEveבְּעׇרְמָתוֹbe/or/ma/TOby his cunningכֵּןkensoתִּשָּׁחַתְנָהtish/sha/chat/NAwill be corruptedמַחְשְׁבוֹתֵיכֶםmach/she/vo/te/KHEMyour thoughtsמִתׇּם־הַלֵּבָבmit/TOM-hal/le/VAVfrom integrity of heartאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isבַּמָּשִׁיחַ׃bam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiah

   But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

   For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

   כִּיkiforאֶחֱשֹׁבe/che/SHOVI thinkכִּיkithatלֹאlonotנֹפֵלno/FELinferiorאָנֹכִיa/no/KHII wasבִּמְאוּמָהbim/U/main anythingמִן־הַשְּׁלִיחִיםmin-hash/she/li/CHIMthe apostlesהַגְּדוֹלִיםhag/ge/do/LIMgreatמְאֹד׃me/ODvery

   For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.

   וְאַףve/AFand evenאִם־בַּעַרim-BA/arif ignorantאָנֹכִיa/no/KHII amבַּדָּבָרbad/da/VARin speechאֵינֶנִּיe/NEN/niI am notבַעַרVA/arignorantבַּדָּעַתbad/DA/atin knowledgeכִּיkibutבַכֹּלvak/KOLin allנִגְלִינוּnig/li/NUwe were revealedבְּתוֹכְכֶםbe/tokh/KHEMamong youבְּכׇל־דָּבָר׃be/KHOL-da/VARin all things

   But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.

   אוֹoorהֶחָטָאתִיhe/cha/TA/tidid I sinבְּהַשְׁפִּילִיbe/hash/pi/LIin humblingאֶת־נַפְשִׁיet-naf/SHImyselfלְמַעַןle/MA/anso asהַגְבִּיהֲכֶםhag/bi/ha/KHEMto exalt youכִי־בִשַּׂרְתִּיkhi-vis/sar/TIfor I preachedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMto youאֶת־בְּשׂוֹרַתet-be/so/RATthe gospel ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodבְּלֹא־מְחִיר׃be/LO-me/CHIRwithout price

   Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?

   גָּזַלְתִּיga/zal/TII robbedקְהִלּוֹתke/hil/LOTchurchesאֲחֵרוֹתa/che/ROTotherבְּקַחְתִּיbe/kach/TIin takingמֵהֶןme/HENfrom themשָׂכָרsa/KHARwagesלְשָׁרֶתְכֶם׃le/sha/ret/KHEMto serve you

   I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.

9. 9

   וּבִהְיוֹתִיu/vih/yo/TIand when I wasאִתְּכֶםit/te/KHEMwith youוָאֶחְסַרva/ech/SARand I lackedלֹאlonoהִכְבַּדְתִּיhikh/BAD/tiI burdenedעַל־אִישׁal-ishon a manכִּיkiforאֶת־מַחְסוֹרִיet-mach/so/RImy lackמִלְּאוּmil/le/Ufilledהָאַחִיםha/a/CHIMthe brothersהַבָּאִיםhab/ba/IMwho cameמִמַּקְדּוֹנְיָאmim/Mak/don/YAfrom Macedoniaוּבְכׇל־דָּבָרu/ve/KHOL-da/VARand in every thingנִשְׁמַרְתִּיnish/mar/TII have kept myselfמִהְיוֹתmih/YOTfrom beingלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלְמַשָּׂאle/mas/SAa burdenוְכֵןve/KHENand soאֶשָּׁמֵר׃esh/sha/MERI will keep myself

   And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

    אֱמֶתe/METthe truth ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahבִּיbiin meכִּיkithatלֹאlonotתִכָּלֵאtik/ka/LEwill be stoppedמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/nifrom meתְּהִלָּתִיte/hil/la/TImy boastזֹאתzotthisבִּגְלִילוֹתbig/li/LOTin the regions ofאֲכַיָּא׃A/khay/YAAchaia

    As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

11. 11

    עַל־מַה־זֶהal-ma-zewhyהַעַלHA/alis it becauseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאֵינֶנִּיe/NEN/niI do notאֹהֵבo/HEVloveאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodיוֹדֵעַ׃yo/DE/aknows

    Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth.

12. 12

    וְאֵתve/ETandאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhatאֲנִיa/NIIעֹשֶׂהo/SEdoאוֹסִיףo/SIFI will continueלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTdoלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatאַכְרִיתakh/RITI will cut offתֹּאֲנָהto/a/NAoccasionמִמְּבַקְשֵׁיmim/me/vak/SHEfrom those who seekתֹאֲנָהto/a/NAoccasionלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERin whatיִתְהַלְלוּyit/hal/LUthey boastיִמָּצְאוּyim/ma/tse/Uare foundכָּמוֹנוּ׃ka/mo/NUlike us

    But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.

13. 13

    כִּיkiforאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenכָּאֵלֶּהka/EL/lesuchשְׁלִיחֵיshe/li/CHEapostles ofשֶׁקֶרSHE/kerfalsehoodהֵםhemareפֹּעֲלֵיPO/a/leworkers ofרְמִיָּהre/miy/YAdeceitמִתְחַפְּשִׂיםmit/chap/pe/SIMdisguising themselvesכִּשְׁלִיחֵיkish/li/CHEas apostles ofהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

14. 14

    וְאֵיןve/ENand there is noלִתְמֹהַּlit/MO/ahto marvelכִּיkiforהַשָּׂטָןHas/sa/TANSatanגַּם־הוּאgam-huhe alsoמִתְחַפֵּשׂmit/chap/PESdisguises himselfכְּמַלְאַךְke/mal/AKHas an angel ofאוֹר׃orlight

    And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

15. 15

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeלֹאlonotדָבָרda/VARa thingגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatהוּאhuit isאִםimifגַּםgamalsoמְשָׁרְתָיוme/sha/re/TAYVhis ministersמִתְחַפְּשִׂיםmit/chap/pe/SIMdisguising themselvesכִּמְשָׁרְתֵיkim/sha/re/TEas the ministers ofהַצְּדָקָהhats/tse/da/KArighteousnessאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseאַחֲרִיתָםa/cha/ri/TAMendתִּהְיֶהtih/YEwill beלְפִיle/FIaccording toמַעַלְלֵיהֶם׃ma/al/le/HEMtheir deeds

    Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

16. 16

    וְאָשׁוּבve/a/SHUVand againוְאֹמַרve/o/MARI sayאַל־נָאal-nalet notיַחְשְׁבֵנִיyach/she/VE/nithink meאִישׁishanyoneלְסָכָלle/sa/KHALa foolוְאִם־לֹאve/IM-loand if notאַךְakhbutכְּסָכָלke/sa/KHALas a foolקְחוּנִיke/chu/NIreceive meלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatאֶתְהַלֵּלet/hal/LELI may boastגַּם־אָנִיgam-A/niI alsoמְעָט׃me/ATa little

    I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

17. 17

    אֵתetwhatאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֲנִיa/NIIמְדַבֵּרme/dab/BERspeakלֹאlonotלְפִיle/FIaccording toהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordאֲדַבְּרֶנּוּa/dab/be/ren/NUI speak itכִּיkibutאִםimratherכְּמוֹke/MOasבְסִכְלוּתve/sikh/LUTin follyבְּבִטְחוֹןbe/vit/CHONin the confidence ofהַתְּהִלָּהhat/te/hil/LAthe boastingהַזֹּאת׃haz/ZOTthis

    That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.

18. 18

    בַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERsinceרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyמִתְהַלֲלִיםmit/ha/la/LIMboastלְפִיle/FIaccording toהַבָּשָׂרhab/ba/SARthe fleshאֶתְהַלֵּלet/hal/LELI will boastגַּם־אָנִי׃gam-A/niI also

    Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.

19. 19

    כִּי־נֹשְׂאִיםki-nos/IMfor bearאַתֶּםat/TEMyouבְּשִׂמְחָהbe/sim/CHAgladlyאֶת־הַסְּכָלִיםet-has/se/kha/LIMthe foolsבִּהְיוֹתְכֶםbih/yot/KHEMbeingחֲכָמִים׃cha/kha/MIMwise

    For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise.

20. 20

    כִּיkiifתִשְׂאוּtis/Uyou bearכִּיkiifיַעֲבִידya/a/VIDenslavesאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouאִישׁisha manכִּי־יְבַלַּעki-ye/val/LAif he swallowsכִּי־יִלְכֹּדki-yil/KODif he capturesאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouכִּי־יִתְנַשֵּׂאki-yit/nas/SEif he exalts himselfכִּי־יַכֶּהki-yak/KEif he strikesאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouעַל־פְּנֵיכֶם׃al-pe/ne/KHEMon your face

    For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.

21. 21

    לְחֶרְפָּתֵנוּle/cher/pa/TE/nuto our reproachאֲנִיa/NIIמְדַבֵּרme/dab/BERspeakכִּיkiforחַלָּשִׁיםchal/la/SHIMweakהָיִינוּha/YI/nuwe wereאַךְakhbutבְּכׇל־אֲשֶׁרbe/KHOL-a/SHERin whateverיִרְהַבyir/HAVdaresאִישׁishanyoneבְּסִכְלוּתbe/sikh/LUTby the foolishness ofאֲנִיa/NIIמְדַבֵּרme/dab/BERspeakאֶרְהַבer/HAVI dareגַּם־אָנִי׃gam-A/niI also

    I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.

22. 22

    עִבְרִיםIv/RIMHebrewsהֵםhemthey areוְגַם־אֲנִיve/GAM-a/NIand I alsoיִשְׂרְאֵלִיםYis/re/e/LIMIsraelitesהֵםhemthey areוְגַם־אָנִיve/GAM-A/niand I alsoזֶרַעZE/rathe seed ofאַבְרָהָםAv/ra/HAMAbrahamהֵםhemthey areוְגַם־אָנִי׃ve/GAM-A/niand I also

    Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.

23. 23

    מְשָׁרְתֵיme/sha/re/TEministers ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahהֵםhemare theyכְּסָכָלke/sa/KHALas a foolאֲנִיa/NIIמְדַבֵּרme/dab/BERspeakאֲנִיa/NII amיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreבְּעָמָלbe/a/MALin toilיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreבְּמַכּוֹתbe/mak/KOTin blowsעַד־לִמְאֹדad-lim/ODexceedinglyבְּבָתֵּיbe/vat/TEin the houses ofכְלָאִיםkhe/la/IMprisonsיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreבְּמוֹתִיםbe/mo/TIMin deathsפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesרַבּוֹת׃rab/BOTmany

    Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

    מֵאֵתme/ETofהַיְּהוּדִיםhay/Ye/hu/DIMthe Jewsחָמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesהֻכֵּיתִיhuk/KE/tiI was beatenאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyחָסֵרcha/SERlessאֶחָת׃e/CHATone

    Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.

    שָׁלֹשׁsha/LOSHthreeפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesהֻכֵּיתִיhuk/KE/tiI was beatenבַשֵּׁבֶטvash/SHE/vetwith rodsפַּעַםPA/amtimeאַחַתa/CHAToneסֻקַּלְתִּיsuk/kal/TII was stonedשָׁלֹשׁsha/LOSHthreeפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesנִשְׁבְּרָהnish/be/RAwas wreckedסְפִינָתִיse/fi/na/TImy shipלַיְלָהLAY/laa nightוָיוֹםva/YOMand a dayהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiI have beenבַּמְּצוּלָה׃bam/me/tsu/LAin the deep

    Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

    In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

    בְּעָמָלbe/a/MALin toilוּבִתְלָאָהu/vit/la/Aand hardshipבְּאַשְׁמֻרוֹתbe/ash/mu/ROTin night watchesפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesרַבּוֹתrab/BOTmanyבְּרָעָבbe/ra/AVin hungerוּבְצָמָאu/ve/tsa/MAand thirstבְּצוֹמוֹתbe/tso/MOTin fastsפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesרַבּוֹתrab/BOTmanyבְּקָרָהbe/ka/RAin coldוּבְעֵירֹם׃u/ve/e/ROMand in nakedness

    In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

    מִלְּבַדmil/le/VADbesidesהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat areמִחוּץmi/CHUTSoutsideהַבָּאhab/BAwhat comesעָלַיa/LAYupon meיוֹםyomdayיוֹםyomby dayדַּאֲגַתda/a/GATthe anxiety ofכׇּל־הַקְּהִלּוֹת׃kol-hak/ke/hil/LOTall the churches

    Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

29. 29

    מִיmiwhoיֶחֱלַשׁye/che/LASHis weakוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iלֹאlonotאֶחֱלָשׁe/che/LASHam weakמִיmiwhoיִכָּשֵׁלyik/ka/SHELstumblesוְלֹאve/LOand notיִבְעַרyiv/ARburnsלִבִּי׃lib/BImy heart

    Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?

30. 30

    אִם־עָלַיim-a/LAYif it is on meלְהִתְהַלֵּלle/hit/hal/LELto boastאֶתְהַלֵּלet/hal/LELI will boastבְּחׇלְיִי׃be/chol/YIin my weaknesses

    If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.

31. 31

    הָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוַאֲבִיva/A/VIand the Father ofאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahהַמְבֹרָךְham/vo/RAKHwho is blessedלְעוֹלָמִיםle/o/la/MIMforeverהוּאhuHeיֹדֵעַyo/DE/aknowsכִּיkithatלֹאlonotאֲשַׁקֵּר׃a/shak/KERI lie

    The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.

    בְּדַמֶּשֶׂקbe/Dam/ME/sekin Damascusהַפֶּחָהhap/pe/CHAthe governorאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwho wasתַּחַתTA/chatunderאֲרֵטַסA/re/TASAretasהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingשָׁמַרsha/MARguardedאֶת־עִירet-irthe city ofהַדַּמַּשְׂקִיִּיםhad/Dam/mas/kiy/YIMthe Damascenesבְּמִשְׁמָרbe/mish/MARwith a guardבְּבַקְּשׁוֹbe/vak/ke/SHOseekingלְתׇפְשֵׂנִי׃le/tof/se/NIto seize me

    In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:

    וּבְעַדu/ve/ADand throughהַחַלּוֹןha/chal/LONthe windowבְּסַלbe/SALin a basketהוּרַדְתִּיhu/rad/TIwas I let downמֵעַלme/ALfrom overהַחוֹמָהha/cho/MAthe wallוָאִמָּלֵטva/im/ma/LETand I escapedמִיָּדָיו׃miy/ya/DAYVfrom his hands

    And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
