   It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

   וְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youמִתְנַשְּׂאִיםmit/nas/se/IMexalting yourselvesתַּחַתTA/chatinstead ofאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתִּתְאַבָּלוּtit/ab/ba/LUyou mournלְהָסִירle/ha/SIRto removeמִקִּרְבְּכֶםmik/kir/be/KHEMfrom among youעֹשֵׂהo/SEthe doer ofהַמַּעֲשֶׂהham/ma/a/SEthe deedהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

   כִּיkiforאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIהָרָחוֹקha/ra/CHOKwho am farמִכֶּםmik/KEMfrom youבְּגוּפִיbe/gu/FIin my bodyוְקָרוֹבve/ka/ROVand nearבְּרוּחִיbe/ru/CHIin my spiritכְּבָרke/VARalreadyדַּנְתִּיdan/TIhave judgedכְּאִישׁke/ISHas a manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMwith youעַל־הָאִישׁal-ha/ISHconcerning the manאֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂהa/SHER-a/SAwho didכַּדָּבָרkad/da/VARsuch a thingהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

   בְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahבְּהִקָּהֶלְכֶםbe/hik/ka/hel/KHEMwhen you gatherיַחַדYA/chadtogetherוְרוּחִיve/ru/CHIand my spiritאִתְּכֶםit/te/KHEMwith youעִם־גְּבוּרַתim-ge/vu/RATwith the power ofאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

   In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

   לִמְסֹרlim/SORto deliverאֶת־הָאִישׁet-ha/ISHthe manהַהוּאha/HUthatלַשָּׂטָןlas/Sa/TANto Satanלְאַבֵּדle/ab/BEDto destroyאֶת־הַבָּשָׂרet-hab/ba/SARthe fleshלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיִוָּשַׁעyiv/va/SHAmay be savedהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe spiritבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the day ofהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordיֵשׁוּעַ׃Ye/SHU/aJesus

   To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

   לֹא־טוֹבlo-tovnot goodהִתְהַלֶּלְכֶםhit/hal/lel/KHEMis your boastingהֲלֹאha/LOdo notיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowכִּיkithatמְעַטme/ATa littleשְׂאֹרse/ORleavenמְחַמֵּץme/cham/METSleavensאֶת־כׇּל־הָעֲרִסָה׃et-kol-ha/a/ri/SAthe whole lump

   Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

   בַּעֲרוּba/a/RUclean outאֶת־הַשְּׂאוֹרet-has/se/ORthe leavenהַיָּשָׁןhay/ya/SHANoldלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatתִּהְיוּtih/YUyou may beעֲרִסָהa/ri/SAa lumpחֲדָשָׁהcha/da/SHAnewכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasמַצּוֹתmats/TSOTunleavenedאַתֶּםat/TEMyouכִּיkiforגַּםgamevenהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahפִּסְחֵנוּpis/che/NUour passoverנִשְׁחַטnish/CHATis sacrificedבַּעֲדֵנוּ׃ba/a/DE/nufor us

   Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeנָחֹגָּה־נָּאna/chog/GA-nalet us keep nowהֶחָגhe/CHAGthe feastלֹא־בִשְׂאֹרlo-vis/ORnot with leavenיָשָׁןya/SHANoldוְלֹא־בִשְׂאֹרve/LO-vis/ORand not with the leaven ofרָעָהra/Aevilוָרֶשַׁעva/RE/shaand wickednessכִּיkibutאִם־בְּמַצּוֹתim-be/mats/TSOTwith the unleavened bread ofהַתֹּםhat/TOMintegrityוְהָאֱמֶת׃ve/ha/e/METand truth

   Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

   כָּתַבְתִּיka/TAV/tiI wroteלָכֶםla/KHEMto youבָּאִגֶּרֶתba/ig/GE/retin the letterלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TInotהִתְעָרֵבhit/a/REVto mingleעִם־הַזֹּנִים׃im-haz/zo/NIMwith fornicators

   I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

    אַךְakhbutלֹאlonotכָּלִילka/LILaltogetherעִם־זֹנֵיim-zo/NEwith the fornicators ofהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMworldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאוֹoorעִם־בֹּצְעֵיim-bots/Ewith the covetousבֶצַעVE/tsagainאוֹoorגֹזְלִיםgoz/LIMextortionersאוֹoorעֹבְדֵיov/DEworshipers ofאֱלִילִיםe/li/LIMidolsכִּיkiforאָזazthenעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMyou mustלָצֵאתla/TSETgo outמִן־הָעוֹלָם׃min-ha/o/LAMfrom the world

    Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAbut nowכָּתַבְתִּיka/TAV/tiI have writtenלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TInotהִתְעָרֵבhit/a/REVto mingleאִם־אִישׁim-ishif a manהַנִּקְרָאhan/nik/RAthat is calledאָחacha brotherוְהוּאve/HUand he isזֹנֶהzo/NEa fornicatorאוֹ־בֹצֵעַo-vo/TSE/aor greedy forבֶּצַעBE/tsaof gainאוֹ־עֹבֵדo-o/VEDor a server ofאֱלִילִיםe/li/LIMidolsאוֹoorמְחָרֵףme/cha/REFrevilesאוֹoorסֹבֵאso/VEa drunkardאוֹoorגֹזֵלgo/ZELan extortionerוְאַףve/AFand evenלֹאlonotלֶאֱכֹלle/e/KHOLto eatעִם־אִישׁim-ishwith a manכָּזֶה׃ka/ZEsuch

    But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

    כִּיkiforמַה־לִּיma-liwhat is it to meלִשְׁפֹּטlish/POTto judgeאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthose who areבַּחוּץba/CHUTSoutsideהֲלֹאha/LOdo notתִשְׁפְּטוּtish/pe/TUyou judgeאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthose whoבַּבָּיִת׃bab/BA/yitinside

    For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

13. 13

    וַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand those who areבַּחוּץba/CHUTSoutsideהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodיִשְׁפְּטֵםyish/pe/TEMwill judge themלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeתְּבַעֲרוּte/va/a/RUremoveאֶת־הָרַעet-ha/RAthe evilמִקִּרְבְּכֶם׃mik/kir/be/KHEMfrom among you

    But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
