   כִּמְשָׁרֲתֵיkim/sha/ra/TEas servants ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahוְסֹכְנֵיve/sokh/NEand stewards ofסוֹדֵיso/DEthe secrets ofאֵלelGodכֵּןkensoיַחְשׇׁב־אִישׁyach/SHOV-ishlet a man accountאֹתָנוּ׃o/TA/nuus

   Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

2. 2

   וְעוֹדve/ODand moreיְבֻקַּשׁye/vuk/KASHit is soughtבַּסֹּכְנִיםbas/sokh/NIMin stewardsכִּיkithatיִמָּצֵאyim/ma/TSEwill be foundאִישׁisha manנֶאֱמָן׃ne/e/MANfaithful

   Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

3. 3

   וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iנְקַלָּהne/kal/LAa light thingהִיאhiit isבְּעֵינַיbe/e/NAYin my eyesכִּיkithatאַתֶּםat/TEMyouדָּנִיםda/NIMjudgeאֹתִיo/TImeאוֹoorמִשְׁפַּטmish/PATthe judgment ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofאָדָםa/DAMmanגַּם־אֲנִיgam-a/NIalso Iלֹאlonotאָדִיןa/DINdo I judgeנַפְשִׁי׃naf/SHImyself

   But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.

   כִּיkiforאֵינֶנִּיe/NEN/niI do notיוֹדֵעַyo/DE/aknowבְּנַפְשִׁיbe/naf/SHIin myselfמְאוּמָהme/U/maanythingרָעraevilוּבְכׇל־זֹאתu/ve/KHOL-zotand with all thisלֹאlonotאֶצְדָּקets/DAKam I justifiedכִּיkibutהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordהוּאhuhe isהַדָּןhad/DANthe one who judgesאֹתִי׃o/TIme

   For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeאַל־תִּשְׁפְּטוּal-tish/pe/TUdo not judgeדָבָרda/VARa thingלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeעִתּוֹit/TOits timeעַדaduntilכִּי־יָבוֹאki-ya/VOcomesהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordוְהוּאve/HUand heיוֹצִיאyo/TSIwill bringלָאוֹרla/ORto lightאֶת־תַּעֲלֻמוֹתet-ta/a/lu/MOTthe hidden things ofהַחֹשֶׁךְha/CHO/shekhthe darknessוִיגַלֶּהvi/gal/LEand will revealאֶת־מְזִמּוֹתet-me/zim/MOTthe purposes ofהַלְּבָבוֹתhal/le/va/VOTthe heartsוְאָזve/AZand thenתִּהְיֶהtih/YEwill beתְהִלָּהte/hil/LApraiseלְכׇל־אִישׁle/KHOL-ishto every manמֵאֵתme/ETfromהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

   Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

   וְאֶת־זֹאתve/ET-zotand thisאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersהֲסִבֹּתִיha/sib/bo/TII turnedעָלַיa/LAYto myselfוְעַל־אַפּוֹלוֹסve/AL-ap/po/LOSand to Apollosבַּעֲבוּרְכֶםba/a/vur/KHEMfor your sakesלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatתִּלְמְדוּtil/me/DUyou might learnבָנוּVA/nuby usלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TInotחֲשֹׁבcha/SHOVto thinkעַל־אָדָםal-a/DAMon a manלְמַעְלָהle/MA/laaboveמֵאֲשֶׁרme/a/SHERthan whatכָּתוּבka/TUVis writtenפֶּן־תִּתְנַשְּׂאוּpen-tit/nas/se/Ulest you exalt yourselvesאִישׁisheachבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofאִישׁisha manלְנֶגֶדle/NE/gedagainstרֵעֵהוּ׃re/E/huhis neighbor

   And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

   כִּיkiforמִיmiwhoהִפְלָהhif/LAmakes to differאוֹתְךָot/KHAyouוּמֶהu/MEand whatבְיָדְךָve/ya/de/KHAis in your handאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotקִבַּלְתָּkib/bal/TAyou have receivedוְאִם־קִבַּלְתָּve/IM-kib/bal/TAand if you receivedלָמָּהLAM/mawhyתִתְהַלֵּלtit/hal/LELdo you boastכְּאִישׁke/ISHas a manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלֹאlonotקִבֵּל׃kib/BELreceived

   For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

   הֵןhenbeholdכְּבָרke/VARalreadyשְׂבַעְתֶּםse/va/TEMyou are fullכְּבָרke/VARalreadyעֲשַׁרְתֶּםa/shar/TEMyou are richוּבִלְעָדֵינוּu/vil/a/de/NUand without usמְלַכְתֶּםme/lakh/TEMyou reignedוְלוּve/LUand would thatמְלַכְתֶּםme/lakh/TEMyou reignedלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatנִמְלֹךְnim/LOKHwe might reignאִתְּכֶםit/te/KHEMwith youגַּם־אֲנָחְנוּ׃gam-a/NACH/nuwe also

   Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.

   For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.

    אֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuwe areסְכָלִיםse/kha/LIMfoolsלְמַעַןle/MA/anfor the sake ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand you areחֲכָמִיםcha/kha/MIMwiseבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuwe areחַלָּשִׁיםchal/la/SHIMweakוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand you areגִּבּוֹרִיםgib/bo/RIMstrongאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areנִכְבָּדִיםnikh/ba/DIMhonoredוַאֲנַחְנוּva/a/NACH/nuand we areנִקְלִים׃nik/LIMdespised

    We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.

11. 11

    עַד־הָעֵתad-ha/ETuntil the timeהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisהִנְנוּhin/NUbehold weרְעֵבִיםre/e/VIMhungryגַּם־צְמֵאִיםgam-tse/me/IMalso thirstyוַעֲרֻמִּיםva/a/rum/MIMand nakedוּמֻכִּיםu/muk/KIMand struckבְּאֶגְרֹףbe/eg/ROFwith the fistוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noמָנוֹחַma/NO/achrestלָנוּ׃LA/nufor us

    Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;

12. 12

    וִיגֵעִיםvi/ge/IMand toilingאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweבַּעֲמַלba/a/MALin the toil ofיָדֵינוּya/DE/nuour handsמְקַלְּלִיםme/kal/le/LIMthey curseאוֹתָנוּo/TA/nuusוּנְבָרֵךְu/ne/va/REKHand we blessרֹדְפִיםrod/FIMbeing persecutedאֹתָנוּo/TA/nuusוְנִסְבֹּל׃ve/nis/BOLand we endure

    And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:

13. 13

    גִּדְּפוּgid/de/FUthey blasphemedאֹתָנוּo/TA/nuusוְנִתְחַנָּןve/nit/chan/NANand we pleadוַנְּהִיvan/ne/HIand we becameכְּגֶלְלֵיke/gel/LEas the filth ofהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldוְלִסְחִיve/lis/CHIand the refuseלְכֻלָּםle/khul/LAMof allעַד־הַיּוֹםad-hay/YOMuntil the dayהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

14. 14

    וְלֹאve/LOand notכָתַבְתִּיkha/TAV/tihave I writtenהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלְהָבִישׁle/ha/VISHto shameאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouכִּיkibutאִם־מַזְהִירim-maz/HIRrather warnאֲנִיa/NIIאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouכְּבָנַיke/va/NAYas my sonsהָאֲהוּבִים׃ha/a/hu/VIMbeloved

    I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.

15. 15

    כִּיkiforגַּם־אִם־הָיוּgam-im-ha/YUeven if wereלָכֶםla/KHEMto youרִבְבוֹתriv/VOTten thousandאֹמְנִיםom/NIMtutorsבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahאֵיןenthere are notלָכֶםla/KHEMto youאָבוֹתa/VOTfathersרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyכִּיkiforאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIיָלַדְתִּיya/LAD/tibegotאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouבְּיֵשׁוּעַbe/Ye/SHU/ain Jesusהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEthroughהַבְּשׂוֹרָה׃hab/be/so/RAthe gospel

    For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeאֲנִיa/NIIמְבַקֵּשׁme/vak/KESHaskמִכֶּםmik/KEMof youלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto walkבְּעִקְּבוֹתָי׃be/ik/ke/vo/TAYin my footsteps

    Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.

17. 17

    וּבַעֲבוּרu/va/a/VURand for the sake ofזֹאתzotthisשָׁלַחְתִּיsha/LACH/tiI sentאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youאֶת־טִימוֹתִיּוֹסet-Ti/mo/tiy/YOSTimotheusבְּנִיbe/NImy sonהָאָהוּבha/a/HUVthe belovedוְהַנֶּאֱמָןve/han/ne/e/MANand the faithfulבָּאָדוֹןba/a/DONin the Lordוְהוּאve/HUand heיַזְכִּירyaz/KIRwill remindלָכֶםla/KHEMyouאֶת־דְּרָכַיet-de/ra/KHAYmy waysאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich areבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasמְלַמֵּדme/lam/MEDteachאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIבְּכׇל־מָקוֹםbe/KHOL-ma/KOMin every placeבְּכׇל־קְהִלָּה׃be/KHOL-ke/hil/LAin every church

    For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

18. 18

    וְיֵשׁve/YESHand there areמִתְנַשְּׂאִיםmit/nas/se/IMwho exalt themselvesלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingכִּיkithatלֹא־אָבוֹאlo-a/VOI would not comeאֲלֵיכֶם׃a/le/KHEMto you

    Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.

19. 19

    אֲבָלa/VALbutבּוֹאbocomeאָבוֹאa/VOI will comeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youבִּמְהֵרָהbim/he/RAshortlyאִם־יִרְצֶהim-yir/TSEif willsהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordוְלֹאve/LOand notאֶת־דִּבְרֵיet-div/REthe words ofהַמִּתְנַשְּׂאִיםham/mit/nas/se/IMthose who exalt themselvesאֵדָעָהe/DA/awill I knowכִּיkibutאִם־אֶת־גְּבוּרָתָם׃im-et-ge/vu/ra/TAMrather their power

    But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.

20. 20

    כִּיkiforלֹאlonotבִּדְבַרbid/VARin the word ofשְׂפָתַיִםse/fa/TA/yimlipsתִּכֹּןtik/KONis establishedמַלְכוּתmal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodכִּיkibutאִםimratherבַּגְּבוּרָה׃bag/ge/vu/RAin power

    For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

21. 21

    מַה־תַּחְפְּצוּma-tach/pe/TSUwhat do you wantהֶאָבוֹאhe/a/VOshall I comeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youבַּשֵּׁבֶטbash/SHE/vetwith the rodאִםimorבְּאַהֲבָהbe/a/ha/VAin loveוּבְרוּחַu/ve/RU/achand in a spirit ofעֲנָוָה׃a/na/VAhumility

    What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?
