   וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iלֹאlonotיָכֹלְתִּיya/KHOL/ticouldלְדַבֵּרle/dab/BERspeakעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMwith youאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersכְּדַבֵּרke/dab/BERas speakingעִםimwithאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEmen ofרוּחַRU/achspiritכִּיkibutאִםimratherכְּדַבֵּרke/dab/BERas speakingעִםimwithאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEmen ofבָשָׂרva/SARfleshכְּדַבֵּרke/dab/BERas speakingעִםimwithעוֹלָלִיםo/la/LIMbabesבַּמָּשִׁיחַ׃bam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiah

   And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

   חָלָבcha/LAVmilkהִשְׁקֵיתִיhish/ke/TII gave to drinkאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוְלֹא־מַאֲכָלve/LO-ma/a/KHALand not foodכִּיkiforעֲדַיִןa/DA/yinstillלֹאlonotהֱיִיתֶםhe/yi/TEMyou wereיְכוֹלִיםye/kho/LIMableוְגַם־עַתָּהve/GAM-at/TAand also nowאֵינְכֶםe/ne/KHEMyou are notיְכוֹלִים׃ye/kho/LIMable

   I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

   כִּיkiforעוֹדְכֶםod/KHEMyou are stillאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEmen ofבָשָׂרva/SARfleshכִּיkiforבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERsinceקִנְאָהkin/Ajealousyבֵּינֵיכֶםbe/ne/KHEMamong youוּמְרִיבָהu/me/ri/VAand strifeוּמַחֲלֹקוֹתu/ma/cha/lo/KOTand divisionsהֲלֹאha/LOare notאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEmen ofבָשָׂרva/SARfleshאַתֶּםat/TEMyouוּמִתְהַלְּכִיםu/mit/hal/le/KHIMand walkingכִּבְנֵיkiv/NEas children ofאָדָם׃a/DAMmen

   For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

   For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

   מִיmiwhoאֵפוֹאe/FOthenפוֹלוֹסFo/LOSis Paulוּמִי־הוּאu/MI-huand who isאַפּוֹלוֹסAp/po/LOSApollosאַךְ־מְשָׁרֲתִיםakh-me/sha/ra/TIMonly servantsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעַל־יָדָםal-ya/DAMby their handבָּאתֶםba/TEMyou cameלְהַאֲמִיןle/ha/a/MINto believeאִישׁisheachאִישׁishmanכְּמַתְּנַתke/mat/te/NATas the gift ofהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַןna/TANgaveלוֹ׃loto him

   Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

   אֲנִיa/NIIנָטַעְתִּיna/TA/tiplantedוְאַפּוֹלוֹסVe/ap/po/LOSApollosהִשְׁקָהhish/KAwateredוְהָאֱלֹהִיםve/ha/e/lo/HIMand GodהוּאhuHeהִצְמִיחַ׃hits/MI/achmade grow

   I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

7. 7

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenso thenהַנֹּטֵעַhan/no/TE/athe one who plantsכְּאַיִןke/A/yinis as nothingוְהַמַּשְׁקֶהve/ham/mash/KEand the one who watersכְּאָיִןke/A/yinis as nothingכִּיkibutאִם־אֱלֹהִיםim-e/lo/HIMrather Godהַמַּצְמִיחַ׃ham/mats/MI/achwho makes grow

   So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

8. 8

   וְהַנֹּטֵעַve/han/no/TE/aand the one who plantsוְהַמַּשְׁקֶהve/ham/mash/KEand the one who watersכְּאֶחָדke/e/CHADare as oneהֵמָּהHEM/matheyוְכׇל־אִישׁve/KHOL-ishand every manיְקַבֵּלye/kab/BELwill receiveאֶת־שְׂכָרוֹet-se/kha/ROhis wageכְּפִיke/FIaccording toעֲמָלוֹ׃a/ma/LOhis toil

   Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

9. 9

   כִּיkiforעֹזְרִיםoz/RIMhelpersלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMof Godבִּמְלַאכְתּוֹbim/lakh/TOin His workאֲנָחְנוּa/NACH/nuwe areשְׂדֵהse/DEthe field ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areבִּנְיַןbin/YANthe building ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאַתֶּם׃at/TEMyou are

   For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

10. 10

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iכְּפִיke/FIaccording toחֶסֶדCHE/sedthe grace ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodהַנִּתָּןhan/nit/TANthat is givenלִיlito meכְּאָמָּןke/am/MANas a craftsmanחָכָםcha/KHAMwiseשַׁתִּיshat/TII laidיְסוֹדye/SODa foundationוְאַחֵרve/a/CHERand anotherבּוֹנֶהbo/NEbuildsעָלָיוa/LAYVon itאַךְ־יֵרֶאakh-YE/rebut let seeכׇל־אִישׁkhol-ishevery manאֵיךְekhhowהוּא־בֹנֶהhu-vo/NEhe buildsעָלָיו׃a/LAYVon it

    According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

11. 11

    כִּיkiforלֹא־יוּכַלlo-yu/KHALcannotאִישׁisha manלָשִׁיתla/SHITlayיְסוֹדye/SODa foundationאַחֵרa/CHERotherזוּלָתִיzu/la/TIexceptהַמּוּסָּדham/mus/SADthe one laidאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהוּאhuisיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12. 12

    וְאִם־יִבְנֶהve/IM-yiv/NEand if buildsאִישׁishany manעַל־הַיְסוֹדal-hay/SODon the foundationהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisזָהָבza/HAVgoldאוֹoorכֶסֶףKHE/sefsilverאוֹoorאֲבָנִיםa/va/NIMstonesיְקָרוֹתye/ka/ROTpreciousאוֹ־עֵץo-etsor woodאוֹoorחָצִירcha/TSIRhayאוֹoorקָשׁ׃kashstubble

    Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13. 13

    יִגָּלֶהyig/ga/LEwill be revealedמַעֲשֵׂהma/a/SEthe work ofכׇל־אִישׁkhol-ishevery manכִּי־הַיּוֹםki-hay/YOMfor the dayהוּאhuitיְבָרֲרֵהוּye/va/ra/re/HUwill make it clearכִּי־בָאֵשׁki-va/ESHfor by fireיֵרָאֶהye/ra/Eit will be revealedוּמַעֲשֵׂהu/ma/a/SEand the work ofאִישׁisheachאִישׁishmanמַה־הוּאma-huwhat it isהָאֵשׁha/ESHthe fireתִּבְחָנֶנּוּ׃tiv/cha/NEN/nuwill test it

    Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

14. 14

    אִם־יַעֲמֹדim-ya/a/MODif standsמַעֲשֵׂהma/a/SEthe work ofאִישׁisha manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichבָּנָהba/NAhe builtעָלָיוa/LAYVon itיְקַבֵּלye/kab/BELhe will receiveשְׂכָרוֹ׃se/kha/ROhis wage

    If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15. 15

    וְאִם־יִשָּׂרֵףve/IM-yis/sa/REFand if is burnedמַעֲשֵׂהוּma/a/SE/huhis workיֵעָנֵשׁye/a/NESHwill be penalizedוְהוּאve/HUand heיִוָּשֵׁעַyiv/va/SHE/awill be savedאַךְakhbutכְּאוּדke/UDas a brandמֻצָּלmuts/TSALrescuedמֵאֵשׁ׃me/ESHfrom fire

    If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

16. 16

    הֲלֹאha/LOdo notיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowכִּיkithatהֵיכַלhe/KHALthe temple ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areוְרוּחַve/RU/achand the Spirit ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodשֹׁכֵןsho/KHENdwellsבְּקִרְבְּכֶם׃be/kir/be/KHEMwithin you

    Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17. 17

    וְאִישׁve/ISHand a manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיְטַמֵּאye/tam/MEdefilesאֶת־הֵיכַלet-he/KHALthe temple ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodיַשְׁחִיתyash/CHITwill destroyאֹתוֹo/TOhimכִּיkiforהֵיכַלhe/KHALthe temple ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodקָדוֹשׁka/DOSHis holyוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand you areהֵיכָלוֹ׃he/kha/LOHis temple

    If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

18. 18

    אַל־יַשִּׁיאal-yash/SHIlet not deceiveאִישׁisha manנַפְשׁוֹnaf/SHOhis soulאִם־יֵשׁim-yeshif there isבָּכֶםba/KHEMamong youאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatחָכָםcha/KHAMwiseיֵחָשֵׁבye/cha/SHEVis countedבָּעוֹלָםba/o/LAMin the worldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisיְהִיye/HIlet him becomeלְסָכָלle/sa/KHALa foolלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיֶחְכָּם׃yech/KAMhe may be wise

    Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

19. 19

    כִּי־חׇכְמַתki-chokh/MATfor the wisdom ofהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisסִכְלוּתsikh/LUTis foolishnessלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodכַּכָּתוּבkak/ka/TUVas it is writtenלֹכֵדlo/KHEDHe catchesחֲכָמִיםcha/kha/MIMthe wiseבְּעׇרְמָם׃be/or/MAMin their cunning

    For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

20. 20

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againכָּתוּבka/TUVit is writtenהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordיֹדֵעַyo/DE/aknowsמַחְשְׁבוֹתmach/she/VOTthe thoughts ofחֲכָמִיםcha/kha/MIMthe wiseכִּיkithatהֵמָּהHEM/mathey areהָבֶל׃HA/velvanity

    And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

21. 21

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeאַל־יִתְהַלֵּלal-yit/hal/LELlet not boastאִישׁisha manבְּאָדָםbe/a/DAMin manכִּיkiforהַכֹּלhak/KOLall thingsלָכֶם׃la/KHEMto you

    Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

22. 22

    אִם־פּוֹלוֹסim-Po/LOSwhether Paulאִם־אַפּוֹלוֹסim-Ap/po/LOSor Apollosוְאִם־כֵּיפָאve/IM-ke/FAor Cephasאִם־הָעוֹלָםim-ha/o/LAMor the worldאִם־הַחַיִּיםim-ha/chay/YIMor lifeוְאִם־הַמָּוֶתve/IM-ham/MA/vetor deathאִם־אֲשֶׁרim-a/SHERor whatעַתָּהat/TAnowוְאִם־הָאֹתִיּוֹתve/IM-ha/o/tiy/YOTor things to comeהַכֹּלhak/KOLallלָכֶם׃la/KHEMto you

    Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

23. 23

    וְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand you areלַמָּשִׁיחַlam/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah'sוְהַמָּשִׁיחַve/ham/Ma/SHI/achand the Messiahלֵאלֹהִים׃le/lo/HIMis God's

    And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.
