   הֲיָזִידha/ya/ZIDdareאִישׁisha manמִכֶּםmik/KEMof youאֲשֶׁר־לוֹa/SHER-lowho hasרִיבriva disputeעִם־רֵעֵהוּim-re/E/huwith his neighborלָבוֹאla/VOto comeבַּמִּשְׁפָּטbam/mish/PATin judgmentלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָרְשָׁעִיםha/re/sha/IMthe wickedוְלֹאve/LOand notלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַקְּדֹשִׁים׃hak/ke/do/SHIMthe saints

   Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

   הֲלֹאha/LOdo notיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowכִּיkithatהַקְּדֹשִׁיםhak/ke/do/SHIMthe saintsיָדִינוּya/di/NUwill judgeאֶת־הָעוֹלָםet-ha/o/LAMthe worldוְאִם־הָעוֹלָםve/IM-ha/o/LAMand if the worldיִשָּׁפֵטyish/sha/FETwill be judgedעַל־יֶדְכֶםal-yed/KHEMby your handהֲלֹאha/LOare notרְאוּיִםre/u/YIMworthyאַתֶּםat/TEMyouלִשְׁפֹּטlish/POTto judgeבַּדְּבָרִיםbad/de/va/RIMin mattersהַקְּטַנִּים׃hak/ke/tan/NIMthe small

   Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

   הֲלֹאha/LOdo notיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowכִּיkithatנִשְׁפֹּטnish/POTwe will judgeמַלְאָכִיםmal/a/KHIMangelsאַףafmuchכִּיkimoreדִּבְרֵיdiv/REthe matters ofהַחַיִּיםha/chay/YIMlifeהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethis

   Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

   וְאִםve/IMand ifיֶשׁ־לָכֶםyesh-la/KHEMyou haveמִשְׁפְּטֵיmish/pe/TEthe judgments ofדִּבְרֵיdiv/REthe matters ofהַחַיִּיםha/chay/YIMlifeהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/lethisהוֹשִׁיבוּho/shi/VUseatלְשֹׁפְטִיםle/shof/TIMas judgesאֶת־הַנִּבְזִיםet-han/niv/ZIMthe despisedבַּקְּהִלָּה׃bak/ke/hil/LAin the church

   If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

   לְבָשְׁתְּכֶםle/vosh/te/KHEMto your shameאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERspeakאֶת־זֹאתet-zotthisהֲכִיha/KHIis it thatאֵיןenthere is notבָּכֶםba/KHEMamong youחָכָםcha/KHAMa wise manאַףafevenלֹאlonotאֶחָדe/CHADoneיֹדֵעַyo/DE/awho knowsלְהוֹכִיחַle/ho/KHI/achto decideבֵּיןbenbetweenאִישׁisha manלְאָחִיו׃le/a/CHIVand his brother

   I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

   כִּיkibutאָחacha brotherבָּאbagoesבַּמִּשְׁפָּטbam/mish/PATin judgmentעִם־אָחִיוim-a/CHIVwith his brotherוְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeבְלִי־מַאֲמִינִים׃ve/LI-ma/a/mi/NIMunbelievers

   But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

   וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאָכֵןa/KHENindeedעָוֹןa/VONiniquityהוּאhuit isלָכֶםla/KHEMamong youכִּיkibecauseבָאִיםva/IMcomeאַתֶּםat/TEMyouבַּמִּשְׁפָּטbam/mish/PATin judgmentזֶהzeoneעִם־זֶהim-zewith anotherוְלָמָּהve/LAM/mawhyלֹאlonotתִשְׂאוּtis/Uyou bearחָמָסcha/MASwrongלָמָּהLAM/mawhyלֹאlonotתְעֻשְּׁקוּ׃te/ush/she/KUare you defrauded

   Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?

   אֲבָלa/VALbutעֹשִׂיםo/SIMdoחָמָסcha/MASwrongאַתֶּםat/TEMyouוְעֹשְׁקִיםve/osh/KIMand oppressוְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisאֶת־אֲחֵיכֶם׃et-a/che/KHEMyour brothers

   Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.

   הֲלֹאha/LOdo notיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowכִּיkithatהָרְשָׁעִיםha/re/sha/IMthe wickedלֹאlonotיִירְשׁוּYI/re/shuwill inheritאֶת־מַלְכוּתet-mal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodאַל־תַּשִּׁיאוּal-tash/shi/Udo not deceiveנַפְשׁוֹתֵיכֶםnaf/sho/te/KHEMyour soulsלֹאlonotהַזֹּנִיםhaz/zo/NIMfornicatorsלֹאlonotעֹבְדֵיov/DEservers ofאֱלִילִיםe/li/LIMidolsלֹאlonotהַמְנָאֲפִיםham/na/a/FIMadulterersוְלֹאve/LOand notהַקְּדֵשִׁיםhak/ke/de/SHIMthe cult prostitutesוְלֹאve/LOand notהַשֹּׁכְבִיםhash/shokh/VIMthose who lieאֶת־זָכָר׃et-za/KHARwith a male

   Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

    לֹאlonotהַגַּנָּבִיםhag/gan/na/VIMthievesוְלֹא־בֹצְעֵיve/LO-vots/Eand not those greedy forבֶצַעVE/tsagainלֹאlonotהַסֹּבְאִיםhas/sov/IMdrunkardsוְלֹאve/LOand notהַמְחָרְפִיםham/cha/re/FIMrevilersוְלֹאve/LOand notהַגֹּזְלִיםhag/goz/LIMthe robbersכׇּל־אֵלֶּהkol-EL/leall theseלֹאlonotיִירְשׁוּYI/re/shuwill inheritאֶת־מַלְכוּתet-mal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

    Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

    וְכָאֵלֶּהve/kha/EL/leand suchלְפָנִיםle/fa/NIMformerlyהָיוּha/YUwereמִקְצָתְכֶםmik/tsa/te/KHEMsome of youאֲבָלa/VALbutרֻחַצְתֶּםru/chats/TEMyou were washedאֲבָלa/VALbutקֻדַּשְׁתֶּםkud/dash/TEMyou were sanctifiedאֲבָלa/VALbutנִצְדַּקְתֶּםnits/dak/TEMyou are justifiedבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוּבְרוּחַu/ve/RU/achand by the Spirit ofאֱלֹהֵינוּ׃e/lo/HE/nuour God

    And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

12. 12

    הַכֹּלhak/KOLallמֻתָּרmut/TARare lawfulלִיlito meאֲבָלa/VALbutלֹאlonotכׇל־דָּבָרkhol-da/VAReverythingמוֹעִילmo/ILprofitsהַכֹּלhak/KOLallמֻתָּרmut/TARare lawfulלִיlito meאֲבָלa/VALbutלֹאlonotיִמְשׇׁל־בִּיyim/SHOL-biwill rule over meדָּבָר׃da/VARa thing

    All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

13. 13

    הַמַּאֲכָלham/ma/a/KHALthe foodלַכְּרֵשׂlak/ke/RESis for the bellyוְהַכְּרֵשׂve/hak/ke/RESand the bellyלַמַּאֲכָלlam/ma/a/KHALfor the foodוְהָאֱלֹהִיםve/ha/e/lo/HIMand Godאֶת־זֶהet-zethisוְאֶת־זֶהve/ET-zeand thisיְכַלֶּהye/khal/LEwill bring to an endוְהַגּוּףve/hag/GUFand the bodyלֹאlois notלַזְּנוּתlaz/ze/NUTfor fornicationכִּיkibutאִם־לָאָדוֹןim-la/a/DONrather for the Lordוְהָאָדוֹןve/ha/a/DONand the Lordלַגּוּף׃lag/GUFfor the body

    Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

14. 14

    וְהָאֱלֹהִיםve/ha/e/lo/HIMand Godהֵעִירhe/IRraisedגַּםgamalsoאֶת־הָאָדוֹןet-ha/a/DONthe Lordוְיָעִירve/ya/IRand will raiseגַּם־אֹתָנוּgam-o/TA/nuus alsoבִּגְבוּרָתוֹ׃big/vu/ra/TOby His power

    And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

15. 15

    הֲלֹאha/LOdo notיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowכִּיkithatגּוּפֹתֵיכֶםgu/fo/te/KHEMyour bodiesאֵבָרֵיe/va/REthe members ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe MessiahהֵמָּהHEM/maareהֲאֶקַּחha/ek/KACHshall I takeאֶת־אֵבָרֵיet-e/va/REthe members ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahוְאֶעֱשֶׂהve/e/e/SEand makeאֹתָםo/TAMthemלְאֵבָרֵיle/e/va/REmembers ofזוֹנָהzo/NAa prostituteחָלִילָה׃cha/LI/lafar be it

    Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

16. 16

    אוֹoorהֲלֹאha/LOdo notיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowכִּיkithatהַדָּבֵקhad/da/VEKthe one who clingsבַּזּוֹנָהbaz/zo/NAto the prostituteגּוּףgufbodyאֶחָדe/CHADoneהוּאhuisעִמָּהּim/MAwith herכִּיkiforאָמַרa/MARhe saidוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand they will becomeשְׁנֵיהֶםshe/ne/HEMthe two of themלְבָשָׂרle/va/SARfleshאֶחָד׃e/CHADone

    What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

17. 17

    אֲבָלa/VALbutהַדָּבֵקhad/da/VEKthe one who clingsבָּאָדוֹןba/a/DONto the LordרוּחַRU/achspiritאֶחָדe/CHADoneהוּאhuisעִמּוֹ׃im/MOwith him

    But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

18. 18

    נוּסוּnu/SUfleeמִן־הַזְּנוּתmin-haz/ze/NUTfrom fornicationכׇּל־חֵטְאkol-chetevery sinאֲשֶׁר־יֶחֱטָאa/SHER-ye/che/TAthat sinsהָאָדָםha/a/DAMa manמִחוּץmi/CHUTSoutsideלְגוּפוֹle/gu/FOhis bodyהוּאhuisוְהַזּוֹנֶהve/haz/zo/NEand the fornicatorחֹטֵאcho/TEsinsלְגוּפוֹ׃le/gu/FOagainst his body

    Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

19. 19

    אוֹoorהֲלֹא־יְדַעְתֶּםha/LO-ye/da/TEMdo you not knowכִּיkithatגוּפְכֶםguf/KHEMyour bodyהוּאhuisהֵיכַלhe/KHALthe temple ofרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁRU/ach-Hak/KO/deshthe Holy Spiritהַשֹּׁכֵןhash/sho/KHENthat dwellsבְּקִרְבְּכֶםbe/kir/be/KHEMwithin youאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהָיָהha/YAcameלָכֶםla/KHEMto youמֵאֵתme/ETfromהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוְלֹא־לָכֶםve/LO-la/KHEMand not yoursאַתֶּם׃at/TEMyou are

    What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20. 20

    כִּיkiforבִּמְחִירbim/CHIRwith a priceנִקְנֵיתֶםnik/ne/TEMyou were boughtעַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeכַּבְּדוּkab/be/DUhonorאֶת־הָאֱלֹהִיםet-ha/e/lo/HIMGodבְּגוּפְכֶםbe/guf/KHEMin your bodyוּבְרוּחֲכֶםu/ve/ru/cha/KHEMand in your spiritאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMare God'sהֵמָּה׃HEM/mathey

    For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
