   וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iמוֹדִיעַmo/DI/amake knownלָכֶםla/KHEMto youאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersאֶת־הַבְּשׂוֹרָהet-hab/be/so/RAthe gospelאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichבִּשַּׂרְתִּיbis/SAR/tiI proclaimedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMto youוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youקִבַּלְתֶּםkib/bal/TEMreceivedוַעֲמַדְתֶּםva/a/mad/TEMand you stoodבָּהּ׃bain it

   Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

   וְגַםve/GAMand alsoתִּוָּשְׁעוּtiv/va/she/Uyou are savedבָהּvaby itאִם־תִּזְכְּרוּim-tiz/ke/RUif you rememberבַדָּבָרvad/da/VARto the wordאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichבִּשַּׂרְתִּיbis/SAR/tiI proclaimedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMto youבִּלְתִּיbil/TIunlessאִם־הֶאֱמַנְתֶּםim-he/e/man/TEMif you believedלַשָּׁוְא׃lash/SHAVin vain

   By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

   For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

   וְכִי־נִקְבַּרve/KHI-nik/BARand that he was buriedוְכִי־קָםve/KHI-kamand that he roseבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַשְּׁלִישִׁיhash/she/li/SHIthirdכַּכְּתוּבִים׃kak/ke/tu/VIMaccording to the scriptures

   And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

   וְכִי־נִרְאָהve/KHI-nir/Aand that he appearedאֶל־כֵּיפָאel-Ke/FAto Cephasוְאַחֲרָיוve/a/cha/RAYVand after himאֶל־שְׁנֵים־הֶעָשָׂר׃el-she/NEM-he/a/SARto the twelve

   And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

   וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵןve/a/cha/RE-khenand after thatנִרְאָהnir/Ahe appearedלְמַעְלָהle/MA/laaboveמֵחֲמֵשׁme/cha/MESHthan fiveמֵאוֹתme/OThundredאַחִיםa/CHIMbrothersכְּאֶחָדke/e/CHADas oneאֲשֶׁרa/SHERof whomרֻבָּםrub/BAMmost of themעוֹדָםo/DAMare stillבַּחַיִּיםba/chay/YIMaliveוּמִקְצָתָםu/mik/tsa/TAMand some of themיָשֵׁנוּ׃ya/she/NUhave slept

   After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

   וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵןve/a/cha/RE-khenand after thatנִרְאָהnir/Ahe appearedאֶל־יַעֲקֹבel-Ya/a/KOVto Jamesוְאַחֲרָיוve/a/cha/RAYVand after himאֶל־כׇּל־הַשְּׁלִיחִים׃el-kol-hash/she/li/CHIMto all the apostles

   After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

8. 8

   וְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterכֻלָּםkhul/LAMall of themנִרְאָהnir/Ahe appearedגַם־אֵלַיgam-e/LAYalso to meהַדֹּמֶהhad/do/MEwho am likeלְנָפֶל׃le/NA/fela miscarriage

   And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

   כִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NIIהַצָּעִירhats/tsa/IRthe leastבַּשְּׁלִיחִיםbash/she/li/CHIMamong the apostlesוְקָטֹנְתִּיve/ka/TON/tiand I am too smallמֵהִקָּרֵאme/hik/ka/REto be calledשָׁלִיחַsha/LI/achan apostleכִּי־רָדַפְתִּיki-ra/daf/TIbecause I persecutedאֶת־קְהִלַּתet-ke/hil/LATthe church ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

   For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

    אֲבָלa/VALbutבְּחֶסֶדbe/CHE/sedby the grace ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֲנִיa/NII amאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhatאֲנִיa/NII amוְחַסְדּוֹve/chas/DOand His graceעָלַיa/LAYon meלֹא־הָיָהlo-ha/YAwas notלָרִיקla/RIKin vainכִּי־יוֹתֵרki-yo/TERfor moreמִכֻּלָּםmik/kul/LAMthan all of themעָמַלְתִּיa/mal/TII toiledוְלֹאve/LOand notאֲנִיa/NIIכִּי־אִם־חֶסֶדki-im-CHE/sedbut the grace ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעִמָּדִי׃im/ma/DIis with me

    But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאִם־אֲנִיim-a/NIif Iוְאִם־הֵמָּהve/IM-HEM/maor theyכָּכָהKA/khasoמַשְׁמִיעִיםmash/mi/IMwe proclaimוְכָכָהve/KHA/khaand soהֶאֱמַנְתֶּם׃he/e/man/TEMyou believed

    Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

12. 12

    וְאִם־הֻגַּדve/IM-hug/GADand if it is toldכִּי־קָםki-kamthat he roseהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahמִן־הַמֵּתִיםmin-ham/me/TIMfrom the deadאֵיךְekhhowיֹאמְרוּyo/me/RUsayאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenמִכֶּםmik/KEMof youכִּיkithatאֵיןenthere is noתְּחִיַּתte/chiy/YATthe resurrection ofהַמֵּתִים׃ham/me/TIMthe dead

    Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

13. 13

    וְאִם־אֵיןve/IM-enand if there is noתְּחִיַּתte/chiy/YATthe resurrection ofהַמֵּתִיםham/me/TIMthe deadגַּם־הַמָּשִׁיחַgam-Ham/ma/SHI/achalso the Messiahלֹאlonotקָם׃kamhas risen

    But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

14. 14

    וְאִם־הַמָּשִׁיחַve/IM-ham/ma/SHI/achand if the Messiahלֹאlonotקָםkamhas risenרִיקrikemptyקְרִיאָתֵנוּke/ri/a/te/NUour proclamationוְרִיקve/RIKand emptyגַּםgamalsoאֱמוּנַתְכֶם׃e/mu/nat/KHEMyour faith

    And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

15. 15

    וְגַם־נִמְצֵאנוּve/GAM-nim/tse/NUand also we are foundעֵדֵיe/DEwitnesses ofשֶׁקֶרSHE/kerfalsehoodלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMof GodיַעַןYA/anbecauseאֲשֶׁר־הַעִידֹנוּa/SHER-ha/i/do/NUthat we testifiedעַל־הָאֱלֹהִיםal-ha/e/lo/HIMagainst Godכִּיkithatהֵקִיםhe/KIMHe raisedאֶת־הַמָּשִׁיחַet-Ham/ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomלֹאlonotהֱקִימוֹhe/ki/MOraised himאִם־אׇמְנָםim-om/NAMif indeedהַמֵּתִיםham/me/TIMthe deadלֹאlonotיָקוּמוּ׃ya/KU/murise

    Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

16. 16

    כִּיkiforאִם־הַמֵּתִיםim-ham/me/TIMif the deadלֹאlonotיָקוּמוּya/KU/muriseגַּם־הַמָּשִׁיחַgam-Ham/ma/SHI/achalso the Messiahלֹאlonotקָם׃kamhas risen

    For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

17. 17

    וְאִם־הַמָּשִׁיחַve/IM-ham/ma/SHI/achand if the Messiahלֹאlonotקָםkamhas risenהֶבֶלHE/velvainאֱמוּנַתְכֶםe/mu/nat/KHEMis your faithוְעוֹדְכֶםve/od/KHEMand you are stillבְּחַטֹּאתֵיכֶם׃be/chat/to/te/KHEMin your sins

    And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

18. 18

    אִם־כֵּןim-kenif soגַּם־הַיְשֵׁנִיםgam-hay/she/NIMalso those who sleepבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahאָבָדוּ׃a/VA/duhave perished

    Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

19. 19

    וְאִם־בַּחַיִּיםve/IM-ba/chay/YIMand if in the lifeהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלְבַדle/VADonlyמְקַוִּיםme/kav/VIMhopeאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiahאֲמֵלָלִיםa/me/la/LIMmore miserableמִכׇּל־אָדָםmik/KOL-a/DAMthan every manאֲנָחְנוּ׃a/NACH/nuwe are

    If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

20. 20

    אֲבָלa/VALbutעַתָּהat/TAnowהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahקָםkamhas risenמִן־הַמֵּתִיםmin-ham/me/TIMfrom the deadוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand becameרֵאשִׁיתre/SHITthe first ofהַיְשֵׁנִים׃hay/she/NIMthose who sleep

    But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

21. 21

    כִּיkiforאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REsinceאֲשֶׁר־בָּאa/SHER-bathat cameהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetdeathעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEbyאָדָםa/DAMmanגַּם־תְּחִיַּתgam-te/chiy/YATalso the resurrection ofהַמֵּתִיםham/me/TIMthe deadבָּאָהba/Acameעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEbyאָדָם׃a/DAMman

    For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22. 22

    כִּיkiforכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasבְּאָדָםbe/A/DAMin Adamמֵתִיםme/TIMdieכֻּלָּםkul/LAMall of themכֵּןkensoיִחְיוּyich/YUwill liveכֻלָּםkhul/LAMall of themבַּמָּשִׁיחַ׃bam/Ma/SHI/achin the Messiah

    For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23. 23

    וְאִישׁve/ISHand a manאִישׁishmanבְּסִדְרוֹbe/sid/ROin his orderרֵאשִׁיתre/SHITthe first ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achis the Messiahוְאַחֲרֵי־כֵןve/a/cha/RE-khenand after thatאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthose who areלַמָּשִׁיחַlam/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah'sבְּבוֹאוֹ׃be/vo/Oat his coming

    But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

24. 24

    וְאָזve/AZthenהַקֵּץhak/KETSthe endבְּמׇסְרוֹbe/mos/ROwhen he deliversאֶת־הַמַּלְכוּתet-ham/mal/KHUTthe kingdomלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterהַשְׁבִּיתוֹhash/bi/TOhis abolishingכׇּל־מִשְׂרָהkol-mis/RAall dominionוְכׇל־שָׁלְטָןve/KHOL-sha/le/TANand all authorityוּגְבוּרָה׃u/ge/vu/RAand power

    Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25. 25

    כִּי־הוּאki-hufor heמָלֹךְma/LOKHreignיִמְלֹךְyim/LOKHhe will reignעַדadtillכִּי־יָשִׁיתki-ya/SHITHe putsאֶת־כׇּל־אֹיְבָיוet-kol-oy/VAYVall his enemiesתַּחַתTA/chatunderרַגְלָיו׃rag/LAYVhis feet

    For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

26. 26

    וְאַחֲרוֹןve/a/cha/RONand the last ofהָאֹיְבִיםha/oy/VIMthe enemiesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִכָּחֵדyik/ka/CHEDwill be cut offהוּאhuisהַמָּוֶת׃ham/MA/vetdeath

    The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

27. 27

    כִּי־כֹלki-kholfor allשָׁתshatHe has putתַּחַתTA/chatunderרַגְלָיוrag/LAYVhis feetוּבְאָמְרוֹu/ve/a/me/ROand in His sayingכֹּלkolallהוּשַׁתhu/SHATis putתַּחְתָּיוtach/TAYVunder himבָּרוּרba/RURclearהוּאhuit isכִּיkithatמִלְּבַדmil/le/VADbesidesהַשָּׁתhash/SHATwho putכֹּלkolallתַּחְתָּיו׃tach/TAYVunder him

    For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

28. 28

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand whenיוּשַׁתyu/SHATis putהַכֹּלhak/KOLall thingsתַּחְתָּיוtach/TAYVunder himאָזazthenיִכָּנַעyik/ka/NAwill submitהַבֵּןhab/BENthe Sonגַּם־הוּאgam-huhe alsoלַשָּׁתlash/SHATto Him who putכֹּלkolallתַּחְתָּיוtach/TAYVunder himלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיִהְיֶהyih/YEmay beהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodהַכֹּלhak/KOLallבַּכֹּל׃bak/KOLin all

    And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

29. 29

    כִּיkiforמַה־יַּעֲשׂוּma-ya/a/SUwhat shall they doהַנִּטְבָּלִיםhan/nit/ba/LIMthose who are baptizedבְּעַדbe/ADforהַמֵּתִיםham/me/TIMthe deadאִםimifהַמֵּתִיםham/me/TIMthe deadלֹא־יָקוּמוּlo-ya/KU/mudo not riseכָּלִילka/LILat allלָמָּה־זֶּהLAM/ma-zewhy thenיִטָּבְלוּyit/ta/ve/LUare they baptizedבְּעַדbe/ADforהַמֵּתִים׃ham/me/TIMthe dead

    Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

30. 30

    וְלָמָּהve/LAM/maand whyזֶּהzethenנִסְכָּנִיםnis/ka/NIMstand in jeopardyאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweבְּכׇל־עֵת׃be/KHOL-etat every time

    And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?

31. 31

    בִּתְהִלַּתְכֶםbit/hil/lat/KHEMby your praiseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיֶשׁ־לִיyesh-liI haveבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin the MessiahיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour Lordמֵעִידme/IDtestifyאֲנִיa/NIIעָלַיa/LAYabout myselfאִם־לֹאim-loassuredlyמֵתmetdieאֲנִיa/NIIיוֹםyomdayיוֹם׃yomby day

    I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

32. 32

    אִם־כְּדֶרֶךְim-ke/DE/rekhif according to the way ofבְּנֵי־אָדָםbe/NE-a/DAMthe sons of menנִלְחַמְתִּיnil/CHAM/tiI have foughtעִם־הַחַיּוֹתim-ha/chay/YOTwith the beastsהָרָעוֹתha/ra/OTevilבְּאֶפְסוֹסbe/Ef/SOSat Ephesusמַה־יִּתְרוֹןma-yit/RONwhat profitלִיlimeאִם־הַמֵּתִיםim-ham/me/TIMif the deadלֹאlonotיָקוּמוּya/KU/muriseנֹאכְלָהno/khe/LAlet us eatוְנִשְׁתֶּהve/nish/TEand drinkכִּי־מָחָרki-ma/CHARfor tomorrowנָמוּת׃na/MUTwe die

    If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

33. 33

    אַל־תַּשִּׁיאוּal-tash/shi/Udo not deceiveנַפְשׁוֹתֵיכֶםnaf/sho/te/KHEMyour soulsחֶבְרַתchev/RATthe company ofאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenרָעִיםra/IMevilתַּשְׁחִיתtash/CHITcorruptsדְּרָכִיםde/ra/KHIMwaysטוֹבִים׃to/VIMgood

    Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

34. 34

    הָקִיצוּha/KI/tsuawakeלַצְּדָקָהlats/tse/da/KAto righteousnessוְאַל־תֶּחֱטָאוּve/AL-te/che/TA/uand do not sinכִּי־יֵשׁki-yeshfor there areאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֵין־בָּהֶםen-ba/HEMhave not in themדַּעַתDA/atthe knowledge ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERspeakזֹאתzotthisלְבָשְׁתְּכֶם׃le/vosh/te/KHEMto your shame

    Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

35. 35

    וְכִי־יֹאמַרve/KHI-yo/MARand if saysאִישׁisha manאֵיךְekhhowיָקוּמוּya/KU/muriseהַמֵּתִיםham/me/TIMthe deadוּבְאֵי־זֶהu/ve/E-zeand with whatגוּףgufa bodyיָבֹאוּ׃ya/VO/uthey come

    But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

36. 36

    אַתָּהat/TAyouהַסָּכָלhas/sa/KHALO foolהֵןhenbeholdאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat whichתִּזְרַעtiz/RAyou sowלֹאlonotיִחְיֶהyich/YEcomes to lifeבִּלְתִּיbil/TIexceptאִם־יָמוּת׃im-ya/MUTit dies

    Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

37. 37

    וַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand that whichתִּזְרַעtiz/RAyou sowאֵינְךָe/ne/KHAyou do notזֹרֵעַzo/RE/asowאֶת־הַגּוּףet-hag/GUFthe bodyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִהְיֶהyih/YEwill beכִּיkibutאִם־גַּרְגַּרim-gar/GARrather a grainעָרֹםa/ROMbareאוּלַיu/LAYperhapsחִטָּהchit/TAwheatאוֹoorזֶרַעZE/raseedאַחֵר׃a/CHERanother

    And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

38. 38

    וְהָאֱלֹהִיםve/ha/e/lo/HIMand Godיִתֶּן־לוֹyit/TEN-logives itגוּףgufa bodyכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasחָפֵץcha/FETSHe desiredוּלְכׇל־זֶרַעu/le/KHOL-ZE/raand to every seedאֶת־גּוּפוֹet-gu/FOits bodyלְמִינֵהוּ׃le/mi/NE/huafter its kind

    But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

39. 39

    לֹאlonotכׇל־הַבָּשָׂרkhol-hab/ba/SARall fleshבָּשָׂרba/SARis fleshאֶחָדe/CHADoneכִּיkiforמִיןmina kindאַחֵרa/CHERotherהוּאhuisבְּשַׂרbe/SARthe flesh ofהָאָדָםha/a/DAMmanוּמִיןu/MINand a kindאַחֵרa/CHERotherבְּשַׂרbe/SARthe flesh ofהַבְּהֵמָהhab/be/he/MAthe beastוּמִיןu/MINand a kindאַחֵרa/CHERotherבְּשַׂרbe/SARthe flesh ofהַדָּגָהhad/da/GAthe fishוּמִיןu/MINand a kindאַחֵרa/CHERotherבְּשַׂרbe/SARthe flesh ofהָעוֹף׃ha/OFthe bird

    All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

    וְיֵשׁve/YESHand there areגְּוִיּוֹתge/viy/YOTbodiesשְׁמֵימִיּוֹתshe/me/miy/YOTcelestialוּגְוִיּוֹתu/ge/viy/YOTand bodiesאַרְצִיּוֹתar/tsiy/YOTterrestrialאֲבָלa/VALbutכְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory ofהַשְּׁמֵימִיhash/she/me/MIthe celestialאֶחָדe/CHADis oneוּכְבוֹדu/khe/VODand the glory ofהָאַרְצִיha/ar/TSIthe terrestrialאַחֵר׃a/CHERother

    There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

    כְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory ofהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunאֶחָדe/CHADoneוּכְבוֹדu/khe/VODand the glory ofהַלְּבָנָהhal/le/va/NAthe moonאַחֵרa/CHERotherוּכְבוֹדu/khe/VODand the glory ofהַכּוֹכָבִיםhak/ko/kha/VIMthe starsאַחֵרa/CHERanotherכִּיkiforכּוֹכָבko/KHAVa starאֶחָדe/CHADoneשׁוֹנֶהsho/NEdiffersמִכּוֹכָבmik/ko/KHAVfrom a starאַחֵרa/CHERanotherבִּכְבוֹד׃bikh/VODin the glory of

    There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

    וְכֵןve/KHENand soתְּחִיַּתte/chiy/YATthe resurrection ofהַמֵּתִיםham/me/TIMthe deadיִזָּרַעyiz/za/RAit is sownבְּכִלָּיוֹןbe/khil/la/YONin corruptionוְיָקוּםve/ya/KUMit is raisedבְּאַל־כִּלָּיוֹן׃be/AL-kil/la/YONin incorruption

    So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

43. 43

    יִזָּרַעyiz/za/RAit is sownבְּבִזָּיוֹןbe/viz/za/YONin dishonorוְיָקוּםve/ya/KUMit is raisedבְּכָבוֹדbe/kha/VODin gloryיִזָּרַעyiz/za/RAit is sownבְּרִפְיוֹןbe/rif/YONin weaknessוְיָקוּםve/ya/KUMit is raisedבִּגְבוּרָה׃big/vu/RAin power

    It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

44. 44

    יִזָּרַעyiz/za/RAit is sownגּוּףgufa bodyנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHInaturalוְיָקוּםve/ya/KUMit is raisedגּוּףgufa bodyרוּחָנִיru/cha/NIspiritualיֵשׁyeshthere isגּוּףgufa bodyנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHInaturalוְיֵשׁve/YESHand there isגּוּףgufa bodyרוּחָנִי׃ru/cha/NIspiritual

    It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

45. 45

    וְכֵןve/KHENand soכָּתוּבka/TUVit is writtenוַיְהִיvay/HIand becameהָאָדָםha/a/DAMthe manהָרִאשׁוֹןha/ri/SHONthe firstאָדָםA/DAMAdamלְנֶפֶשׁle/NE/fesha soulחַיָּהchay/YAlivingוְאָדָםve/A/DAMand Adamהָאַחֲרוֹןha/a/cha/RONthe lastלְרוּחַle/RU/acha spiritמְחַיָּה׃me/chay/YAgiving life

    And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

46. 46

    אַךְakhbutלֹאlonotהָרוּחָנִיha/ru/cha/NIspiritualרִאשׁוֹןri/SHONfirstכִּיkibutאִםimratherהַנַּפְשִׁיhan/naf/SHIthe naturalוְאַחֲרֵי־כֵןve/a/cha/RE-khenand after thatהָרוּחָנִי׃ha/ru/cha/NIspiritual

    Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

47. 47

    הָאָדָםha/a/DAMthe manהָרִאשׁוֹןha/ri/SHONthe firstמִן־הָאֲדָמָהmin-ha/a/da/MAfrom the groundהוּאhuisעָפָרa/FARdustוְהָאָדָםve/ha/a/DAMand the manהַשֵּׁנִיhash/she/NIthe secondהוּאhuisהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordמִן־הַשָּׁמָיִם׃min-hash/sha/MA/yimfrom the heavens

    The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

48. 48

    כְּאִישׁke/ISHas the man ofהֶעָפָרhe/a/FARthe dustכֵּןkensoגַּםgamalsoאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEthe men ofהֶעָפָרhe/a/FARthe dustוּכְאִישׁu/khe/ISHand as the man ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenכֵּןkensoגַּםgamalsoאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEthe men ofהַשָּׁמָיִם׃hash/sha/MA/yimheaven

    As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

49. 49

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand asנָשָׂאנוּna/sa/NUwe have borneצֶלֶםTSE/lemthe image ofאִישׁishthe man ofהֶעָפָרhe/a/FARthe dustכֵּןkensoנִשָּׂאnis/SAwe will bearגַּם־צֶלֶםgam-TSE/lemalso the image ofאִישׁishthe man ofהַשָּׁמָיִם׃hash/sha/MA/yimheaven

    And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50. 50

    וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersכִּי־בָשָׂרki-va/SARthat fleshוָדָםva/DAMand bloodלֹא־יוּכַלlo-yu/KHALcannotלָרֶשֶׁתla/RE/shetinheritאֶת־מַלְכוּתet-mal/KHUTthe kingdom ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוְהַכָּלֶהve/hak/ka/LEand the corruptibleלֹאlonotיִירַשׁYI/rashwill inheritאֶת־אַל־כִּלָּיוֹן׃et-al-kil/la/YONincorruption

    Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51. 51

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdסוֹדsoda secretאֲגַלֶּהa/gal/LEI revealלָכֶםla/KHEMyouאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweלֹאlonotכֻלָּנוּkhul/LA/nuall of usנִישַׁןni/SHANwill sleepהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetthe deathאֲבָלa/VALbutכֻּלָּנוּkul/LA/nuall of usנַחֲלֹף׃na/cha/LOFwe will be changed

    Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52. 52

    בְּרֶגַעbe/RE/gain a momentאֶחָדe/CHADoneכְּהֶרֶףke/HE/refin the blink ofעַיִןA/yinan eyeכִּתְקֹעַkit/KO/aat the blowing ofהַשּׁוֹפָרhash/sho/FARthe trumpetהָאַחֲרוֹןha/a/cha/RONlastכִּיkiforיִתָּקַעyit/ta/KAwill be blownבַּשּׁוֹפָרbash/sho/FARthe trumpetוְהַמֵּתִיםve/ham/me/TIMand the deadיָקוּמוּya/KU/muwill riseבְּאַל־כִּלָּיוֹןbe/AL-kil/la/YONin incorruptionוַאֲנַחְנוּva/a/NACH/nuand weנַחֲלֹף׃na/cha/LOFwe will be changed

    In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53. 53

    כִּיkiforעַל־הַכָּלֶהal-hak/ka/LEon the corruptibleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלִלְבֹּשׁlil/BOSHto put onאַל־כִּלָּיוֹןal-kil/la/YONindestructibilityוְעַל־הַמֵּתve/AL-ham/METand on the mortalהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלִלְבֹּשׁlil/BOSHto put onאַל־מָוֶת׃al-MA/vetimmortality

    For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54. 54

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand whenיִלְבַּשׁyil/BASHwill put onהַכָּלֶהhak/ka/LEthe corruptibleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאַל־כִּלָּיוֹןal-kil/la/YONindestructibilityוְהַמֵּתve/ham/METand the mortalהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisיִלְבַּשׁyil/BASHwill put onאַל־מָוֶתal-MA/vetimmortalityאָזazthenיָקוּםya/KUMwill standהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARthe wordהַכָּתוּבhak/ka/TUVthat is writtenבֻּלַּעbul/LAis swallowed upהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetdeathלָנֶצַח׃la/NE/tsachforever

    So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55. 55

    אַיֵּהay/YEwhere isעׇקְצְךָok/tse/KHAyour stingהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetO deathאַיֵּהay/YEwhere isנִצְחוֹנְךָnits/chon/KHAyour victoryהַקֶּבֶר׃hak/KE/verO grave

    O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56. 56

    עֹקֶץO/ketsthe sting ofהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetdeathהוּאhuisהַחֵטְאha/CHETsinוְכֹחַve/KHO/achand the strength ofהַחֵטְאha/CHETsinהִיאhiisהַתּוֹרָה׃hat/to/RAthe law

    The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57. 57

    אֲבָלa/VALbutתּוֹדָהto/DAthanksgivingלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMto Godאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoנָתַן־לָנוּna/TAN-LA/nuhas given usהַנִּצָּחוֹןhan/nits/tsa/CHONthe victoryעַל־יְדֵיal-ye/DEthroughאֲדֹנֵינוּa/do/NE/nuour LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58. 58

    עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeאַחַיa/CHAYmy brothersהָאֲהוּבִיםha/a/hu/VIMbelovedהִתְכּוֹנֲנוּhit/ko/na/NUbe establishedבַּל־תִּמּוֹטוּbal-tim/mo/TUdo not be movedוְהַרְבּוּve/har/BUand aboundבְכׇל־עֵתve/KHOL-etat every timeבְּמַעֲשֵׂהbe/ma/a/SEin the work ofהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERsinceיֹדְעִיםyod/IMknowאַתֶּםat/TEMyouכִּי־לֹאki-lothat notלָרִיקla/RIKfor nothingעֲמַלְכֶםa/mal/KHEMis your toilבָּאָדוֹן׃ba/a/DONin the Lord

    Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
