   וְעַל־דְּבַרve/AL-de/VARand concerningמַתְּנוֹתmat/te/NOTthe gifts ofהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe Spiritאֶחָיe/CHAYmy brothersלֹא־אֲכַחֵדlo-a/kha/CHEDI will not hideמִכֶּםmik/KEMfrom youדָּבָר׃da/VARa thing

   Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

   אַתֶּםat/TEMyouיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowכִּיkithatלְפָנִיםle/fa/NIMformerlyגּוֹיִםGo/YIMGentilesהֱיִיתֶםhe/yi/TEMyou wereוְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterהָאֱלִילִיםha/e/li/LIMthe idolsהָאִלְּמִיםha/il/le/MIMthe muteהוּבַלְתֶּםhu/val/TEMyou were carriedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHEReven asנִמְשַׁכְתֶּם׃nim/shakh/TEMyou were drawn

   Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאוֹדִיעַo/DI/aI make knownאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMto youכִּיkithatאֵיןennoאִישׁishmanדֹּבֵרdo/VERspeakingבְּרוּחַbe/RU/achby the Spirit ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוְיֹאמַרve/yo/MARand saysלְיֵשׁוּעַle/Ye/SHU/aof JesusחֵרֶםCHE/remaccursedוְגַםve/GAMand alsoלֹאlonotיוּכַלyu/KHALcanלִקְרֹאlik/ROto callאִישׁisha manלְיֵשׁוּעַLe/ye/SHU/aJesusאָדוֹןa/DONLordבִּלְתִּיbil/TIexceptאִם־בְּרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃im-be/RU/ach-Hak/KO/deshby the Holy Spirit

   Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

   וְהַמַּתָּנוֹתve/ham/mat/ta/NOTand the giftsשֹׁנוֹתsho/NOTdifferאֲבָלa/VALbutאֶחָדe/CHADoneהוּאhuisהָרוּחַ׃ha/RU/achthe Spirit

   Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

   וְשֹׁנוֹתve/sho/NOTand differingהָעֲבֹדוֹתha/a/vo/DOTthe servicesוְאֶחָדve/e/CHADand oneהוּאhuisהָאָדוֹן׃ha/a/DONthe Lord

   And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

   וְהַפְּעֻלּוֹתve/hap/pe/ul/LOTand the workingsשֹׁנוֹתsho/NOTdifferאֲבָלa/VALbutהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodאֶחָדe/CHADis oneוְהוּאve/HUand He isהַפֹּעֵלhap/Po/ELthe One who worksאֶת־הַכֹּלet-hak/KOLallבַּכֹּל׃bak/KOLin all

   And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

7. 7

   וּלְכׇל־אִישׁu/le/KHOL-ishand to every manנִתְּנָהnit/te/NAis givenהִתְגַּלּוּתhit/gal/LUTthe revealing ofהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe Spiritלְהוֹעִיל׃le/ho/ILfor profit

   But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

   כִּיkiforלָאֶחָדla/e/CHADto oneנִתָּןnit/TANit is givenבָּרוּחַba/RU/achby the Spiritדְּבַרde/VARthe word ofחׇכְמָהchokh/MAwisdomוּלְאַחֵרu/le/a/CHERand to anotherדְּבַרde/VARthe word ofדַּעַתDA/atknowledgeבָּרוּחַba/RU/achby the Spiritהַהוּא׃ha/HUthat

   For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

   לְאַחֵרle/a/CHERto anotherאֱמוּנָהe/mu/NAfaithבָּרוּחַba/RU/achby the Spiritהַהוּאha/HUthatוּלְאַחֵרu/le/a/CHERand to anotherמַתְּנוֹתmat/te/NOTthe gifts ofהָרְפוּאָהha/re/fu/Athe healingבָּרוּחַba/RU/achby the Spiritהַהוּא׃ha/HUthat

   To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

    וּלְאַחֵרu/le/a/CHERand to anotherפֹּעַלPO/althe working ofגְּבוּרוֹתge/vu/ROTmighty worksוּלְאַחֵרu/le/a/CHERand to anotherנְבוּאָהne/vu/Aprophecyוּלְאַחֵרu/le/a/CHERand to anotherהַכָּרַתhak/ka/RATthe discerning ofרוּחוֹתru/CHOTspiritsוּלְאַחֵרu/le/a/CHERand to anotherמִינֵיmi/NEkinds ofלְשֹׁנוֹתle/sho/NOTtonguesוּלְאַחֵרu/le/a/CHERand to anotherבֵּאוּרbe/URthe interpretation ofלְשֹׁנוֹת׃le/sho/NOTtongues

    To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

11. 11

    וְכׇל־אֵלֶּהve/KHOL-EL/leand all theseיִפְעַלyif/ALworksהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe Spiritהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADthe oneהַהוּאha/HUthatהַחֹלֵקha/cho/LEKwho apportionsלְאִישׁle/ISHto each manאִישׁisheachכִּרְצוֹנוֹ׃kir/tso/NOas he wills

    But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

12. 12

    כִּיkiforכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהַגּוּףhag/GUFthe bodyאֶחָדe/CHADis oneוּבוֹu/VOand in it areאֵבָרִיםe/va/RIMmembersרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyוְכׇל־אֵבָרֵיve/KHOL-e/va/REand all the members ofהַגּוּףhag/GUFthe bodyהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADthe oneגַּםgamalsoכִּי־רַבִּיםki-rab/BIMthough manyהֵםhemthey areכֻּלָּםkul/LAMall of themגּוּףgufare a bodyאֶחָדe/CHADoneכֵּןkensoגַּםgamalsoהַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiah

    For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

    כִּיkiforבְּרוּחַbe/RU/achby a Spiritאֶחָדe/CHADoneנִטְבַּלְנוּnit/bal/NUwe were baptizedכֻלָּנוּkhul/LA/nuall of usלְגוּףle/GUFinto a bodyאֶחָדe/CHADoneאִם־יְהוּדִיםim-Ye/hu/DIMwhether Jewsוְאִם־גּוֹיִםve/IM-go/YIMor Gentilesאִם־עֲבָדִיםim-a/va/DIMwhether slavesוְאִם־חׇפְשִׁיםve/IM-chof/SHIMor freeוְכֻלָּנוּve/khul/LA/nuand all of usלְרוּחַle/RU/achinto a Spiritאֶחָדe/CHADoneהָשְׁקִינוּ׃ha/she/ki/NUwere given to drink

    For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

    כִּיkiforגַם־הַגּוּףgam-hag/GUFalso the bodyלֹאlonotאֵבָרe/VARa memberאֶחָדe/CHADoneהוּאhuisכִּיkibutאִםimratherרַבִּים׃rab/BIMmany

    For the body is not one member, but many.

15. 15

    אִם־תֹּאמַרim-to/MARif saysהָרֶגֶלha/RE/gelthe footלֹאlonotיָדyada handאֲנִיa/NIam Iעַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeאֵינֶנִּיe/NEN/niI am notמִן־הַגּוּףmin-hag/GUFfrom the bodyהֲלָזֹאתha/la/ZOTis it for thisלֹאlonotמִן־הַגּוּףmin-hag/GUFfrom the bodyהִיא׃hiit

    If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

16. 16

    וְאִם־תֹּאמַרve/IM-to/MARand if saysהָאֹזֶןha/O/zenthe earלֹאlonotעַיִןA/yinan eyeאֲנִיa/NIam Iעַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeאֵינֶנִּיe/NEN/niI am notמִן־הַגּוּףmin-hag/GUFfrom the bodyהֲלָזֹאתha/la/ZOTis it for thisלֹאlonotמִן־הַגּוּףmin-hag/GUFfrom the bodyהִיא׃hiit

    And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

17. 17

    אִם־הַגּוּףim-hag/GUFif the bodyכֻּלּוֹkul/LOall of itיִהְיֶהyih/YEwereעַיִןA/yinan eyeאַיֵּהay/YEwhere would beהַשָּׁמַעhash/sha/MAthe hearingוְאִם־כֻּלּוֹve/IM-kul/LOand if all of itשֶׁמַעSHE/mahearingאַיֵּהay/YEwhere would beהָרֵיחַ׃ha/RE/achthe smell

    If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

18. 18

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodשָׁתshathas placedאֶת־הָאֵבָרִיםet-ha/e/va/RIMthe membersכׇּל־אֶחָדkol-e/CHADeach oneמֵהֶםme/HEMof themבַּגּוּףbag/GUFin the bodyכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasחָפֵץ׃cha/FETSHe desired

    But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

19. 19

    וְאִלּוּ־הָיוּve/il/LU-ha/YUand if wereכֻלָּםkhul/LAMallאֵבָרe/VARmemberאֶחָדe/CHADoneאַיֵּהay/YEwhere would beהַגּוּף׃hag/GUFthe body

    And if they were all one member, where were the body?

20. 20

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAbut nowרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyהֵםhemare theyהָאֵבָרִיםha/e/va/RIMthe membersוְהַגּוּףve/hag/GUFand the bodyאֶחָד׃e/CHADone

    But now are they many members, yet but one body.

21. 21

    הָעַיִןha/A/yinthe eyeלֹא־תוּכַלlo-tu/KHALcannotדַּבֵּרdab/BERspeakאֶל־הַיָּדel-hay/YADto the handלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאֵין־לִיen-liI have noצֹרֶךְTSO/rekhneedבָּךְbakhof youוְגַם־הָרֹאשׁve/GAM-ha/ROSHand also the headלֹא־יוּכַלlo-yu/KHALcannotדַּבֵּרdab/BERspeakאֶל־הָרַגְלַיִםel-ha/rag/LA/yimto the feetלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאֵין־לִיen-liI have noצֹרֶךְTSO/rekhneedבָּכֶן׃ba/KHENof you

    And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

22. 22

    אַףafmuchכִּיkimoreאֵבָרֵיe/va/REthe members ofהַגּוּףhag/GUFthe bodyהַנִּרְאִיםhan/nir/IMthat seemחַלָּשִׁיםchal/la/SHIMweakנְחוּצִים׃ne/chu/TSIMare necessary

    Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:

23. 23

    וְהַנִּרְאִיםve/han/nir/IMand those that seemלָנוּLA/nuto usנִקְלִיםnik/LIMlightly esteemedבַּגּוּףbag/GUFin the bodyאֹתָםo/TAMthemנַלְבִּישׁnal/BISHwe clothe withיֶתֶרYE/termoreכָּבוֹדka/VODhonorוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand what isלְבֹשֶׁתle/VO/shetfor shameלָנוּLA/nuto usמַרְבִּיםmar/BIMincreaseאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweאֶת־עֶדְיָם׃et-ed/YAMtheir adornment

    And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

24. 24

    כִּיkiforהָאֵבָרִיםha/e/va/RIMthe membersהַנָּאוִיםhan/na/VIMthe comelyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatבָּנוּBA/nuin usאֵיןenhave noצֹרֶךְTSO/rekhneedאֲבָלa/VALbutמָזַגma/ZAGhas blendedהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodאֶת־הַגּוּףet-hag/GUFthe bodyלָתֵתla/TETto giveכָּבוֹדka/VODhonorיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreלַגָּרוּעַ׃lag/ga/RU/ato the lesser

    For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:

25. 25

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatלֹא־תִהְיֶהlo-tih/YEwill not beמַחֲלֹקֶתma/cha/LO/ketdivisionבַּגּוּףbag/GUFin the bodyכִּיkibutאִם־יִדְאֲגוּim-yid/a/GUrather careכׇל־הָאֵבָרִיםkhol-ha/e/va/RIMall the membersיַחַדYA/chadtogetherזֶהzeoneלָזֶה׃la/ZEfor another

    That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

26. 26

    וְאִם־יִכְאַבve/IM-yikh/AVand if suffersאֵבָרe/VARmemberאֶחָדe/CHADoneיִכְאֲבוּyikh/a/VUsufferאִתּוֹit/TOwith itכׇּל־הָאֵבָרִיםkol-ha/e/va/RIMall the membersוְאִם־יְכֻבַּדve/IM-ye/khub/BADand if is honoredאֵבָרe/VARmemberאֶחָדe/CHADoneיִשְׂמְחוּyis/me/CHUrejoiceאִתּוֹit/TOwith itכׇּל־הָאֵבָרִים׃kol-ha/e/va/RIMall the members

    And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

27. 27

    וְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youגּוּףgufare the body ofהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achthe Messiahאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areוְאֵבָרִיםve/e/va/RIMand membersאִישׁisheachאִישׁ׃ishman

    Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

28. 28

    וּמֵהֶםu/me/HEMand of themשָׂםsamsetהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodבַּקְּהִלָּהbak/ke/hil/LAin the churchרִאשׁוֹנָהri/sho/NAfirstלִשְׁלִיחִיםlish/li/CHIMas apostlesוְשֵׁנִיתve/she/NITand secondלִנְבִיאִיםlin/vi/IMas prophetsוּשְׁלִישִׁיתu/she/li/SHITand thirdלִמְלַמְּדִיםlim/lam/me/DIMas teachersאַחֲרֵי־כֵןa/cha/RE-khenafter thatגְּבוּרוֹתge/vu/ROTmighty worksוְאַחַרve/a/CHARthenמַתְּנוֹתmat/te/NOTthe gifts ofהָרְפֻאוֹתha/re/fu/OThealingsעֹזְרִיםoz/RIMhelpersתַּחְבֻּלוֹתtach/bu/LOTguidanceמִינֵיmi/NEkinds ofלְשֹׁנוֹת׃le/sho/NOTtongues

    And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

29. 29

    הֲכֻלָּםha/khul/LAMare all of themשְׁלִיחִיםshe/li/CHIMapostlesהֲכֻלָּםha/khul/LAMare all of themנְבִיאִיםne/vi/IMprophetsהֲכֻלָּםha/khul/LAMare all of themמְלַמְּדִיםme/lam/me/DIMteachersהֲכֻלָּםha/khul/LAMare all of themפֹּעֲלֵיPO/a/leworkers ofגְבוּרוֹת׃ge/vu/ROTmighty works

    Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

30. 30

    הַלְכֻלָּםhal/khul/LAMdo all of them haveמַתְּנוֹתmat/te/NOTthe gifts ofהָרְפוּאָהha/re/fu/Athe healingהֲכֻלָּםha/khul/LAMdo all of themמְדַבְּרִיםme/dab/be/RIMspeakבִּלְשֹׁנוֹתbil/sho/NOTwith tonguesהֲכֻלָּםha/khul/LAMare all of themמְבָאֲרֵיme/va/a/REexplainers ofלְשֹׁנוֹת׃le/sho/NOTtongues

    Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

31. 31

    אַךְakhbutחִמְדוּchim/DUdesireבְּכׇל־לֵבbe/KHOL-levwith all heartאֶת־מֵיטַבet-me/TAVthe bestהַמַּתָּנוֹתham/mat/ta/NOTthe giftsוְעוֹדve/ODand yetאַרְאֶהar/EI will showאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouדֶּרֶךְDE/rekha wayנַעֲלָה׃na/a/LAlofty

    But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
