   Now it was in the law of Mosiah that every man who was a judge of the law, or those who were appointed to be judges, should receive wages according to the time which they labored to judge those who were brought before them to be judged.

   Now if a man owed another, and he would not pay that which he did owe, he was complained of to the judge; and the judge executed authority, and sent forth officers that the man should be brought before him; and he judged the man according to the law and the evidences which were brought against him, and thus the man was compelled to pay that which he owed, or be stripped, or be cast out from among the people as a thief and a robber.

   וַיִּקַּחvay/yik/KACHand receivedהַשֹּׁפֵטhash/sho/FETthe judgeשְׂכָרוֹse/kha/ROhis wagesכְּפִיke/FIaccording toיָמָיוya/MAYVhis timeסְנִינֵהse/ni/NEa senineזָהָבza/HAVof goldלְיוֹםle/YOMfor a dayאוֹoorסְנוּםse/NUMa senumכֶּסֶףKE/sefof silverאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichכִּסְנִינֵהkis/ni/NEas a senineזָהָבza/HAVof goldוְכֵןve/KHENand this isהַמִּשְׁפָּטham/mish/PATthe lawהַנָּתוּן׃han/na/TUNwhich was given

   And the judge received for his wages according to his time—a senine of gold for a day, or a senum of silver, which is equal to a senine of gold; and this is according to the law which was given.

   Now these are the names of the different pieces of their gold, and of their silver, according to their value. And the names are given by the Nephites, for they did not reckon after the manner of the Jews who were at Jerusalem; neither did they measure after the manner of the Jews; but they altered their reckoning and their measure, according to the minds and the circumstances of the people, in every generation, until the reign of the judges, they having been established by king Mosiah.

   Now the reckoning is thus—a senine of gold, a seon of gold, a shum of gold, and a limnah of gold.

   סְנוּםse/NUMa senumכֶּסֶףKE/sefof silverאַמְנוֹרAM/noran amnorכֶּסֶףKE/sefof silverעֶזְרוֹםEZ/roman ezromכֶּסֶףKE/sefof silverוְאׇנְטִיve/on/TIand an ontiכֶּסֶף׃KE/sefof silver

   A senum of silver, an amnor of silver, an ezrom of silver, and an onti of silver.

   סְנוּםse/NUMa senumכֶּסֶףKE/sefof silverכִּסְנִינֵהkis/ni/NEas a senineזָהָבza/HAVof goldוְכׇל־אֶחָדve/KHOL-e/CHADand eitherמֵהֶםme/HEMof themכְּמִדַּתke/mid/DATwas for a measureשְׂעֹרִיםse/o/RIMof barleyוְכֵןve/KHENand alsoלְכׇל־מִדַּתle/KHOL-mid/DATfor every measureדָּגָן׃da/GANof grain

   A senum of silver was equal to a senine of gold, and either for a measure of barley, and also for a measure of every kind of grain.

   וּמִשְׁקַלu/mish/KALand the amountסְעוֹןse/ONof a seonזָהָבza/HAVof goldפִּיpiwas twiceשְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimas muchמִסְּנִינֵה׃mis/se/ni/NEof a senine

   Now the amount of a seon of gold was twice the value of a senine.

   וּמִשְׁקַלu/mish/KALand the amountשׁוּםshumof a shumזָהָבza/HAVof goldפִּיpiwas twiceשְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimas muchמִסְּעוֹן׃mis/se/ONof a seon

   And a shum of gold was twice the value of a seon.

    וּמִשְׁקַלu/mish/KALand the amountלִמְנָהlim/NAof a limnahזָהָבza/HAVof goldכְּמִשְׁקַלke/mish/KALwas as the valueכֻּלָּםkul/LAMof them allיַחַד׃YA/chadtogether

    And a limnah of gold was the value of them all.

    וּמִשְׁקַלu/mish/KALand the amountאַמְנוֹרAM/norof an amnorכֶּסֶףKE/sefof silverכִּשְׁנֵיkish/NEas twoסְנוּמִים׃se/nu/MIMsenums

    And an amnor of silver was as great as two senums.

    וּמִשְׁקַלu/mish/KALand the amountעֶזְרוֹםEZ/romof an ezromכֶּסֶףKE/sefof silverכְּאַרְבָּעָהke/ar/ba/Aas fourסְנוּמִים׃se/nu/MIMsenums

    And an ezrom of silver was as great as four senums.

    וּמִשְׁקַלu/mish/KALand the amountאׇנְטִיon/TIof an ontiכְּמִשְׁקַלke/mish/KALwas as the valueכֻּלָּםkul/LAMof them allיַחַד׃YA/chadtogether

    And an onti was as great as them all.

14. 14

    וְזֶהve/ZEand this isעֵרֶךְE/rekhthe valueהַמִּשְׁקָלִיםham/mish/ka/LIMof the piecesהַקְּטַנִּיםhak/ke/tan/NIMlesserלְחֶשְׁבּוֹנָם׃le/chesh/bo/NAMof their reckoning

    Now this is the value of the lesser numbers of their reckoning—

15. 15

    שִׁבְלוֹןSHIV/lona shiblonחֲצִיcha/TSIis halfהַסְּנוּםhas/se/NUMof a senumוְלָכֵןve/la/KHENthereforeשִׁבְלוֹןSHIV/lona shiblonלַחֲצִיla/cha/TSIfor a halfמִדַּתmid/DATmeasureשְׂעֹרִים׃se/o/RIMof barley

    A shiblon is half of a senum; therefore, a shiblon for half a measure of barley.

16. 16

    וְשִׁבְּלוּםve/shib/be/LUMand a shiblumחֲצִיcha/TSIis halfהַשִּׁבְלוֹן׃hash/SHIV/lonof a shiblon

    And a shiblum is a half of a shiblon.

17. 17

    וְלֵאָהve/le/Aand a leahחֲצִיcha/TSIis halfהַשִּׁבְּלוּם׃hash/shib/be/LUMof a shiblum

    And a leah is the half of a shiblum.

18. 18

    וְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand these areמִסְפָּרָםmis/pa/RAMtheir numbersלְחֶשְׁבּוֹנָם׃le/chesh/bo/NAMaccording to their reckoning

    Now this is their number, according to their reckoning.

19. 19

    וְאַנְטְיוֹןve/an/te/YONand an antionזָהָבza/HAVof goldכִּשְׁלֹשָׁהkish/lo/SHAas threeשִׁבְלוֹנִים׃shiv/lo/NIMshiblons

    Now an antion of gold is equal to three shiblons.

20. 20

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedאַךְakhonlyבַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURfor the sakeבֶּצַעBE/tsaof the gainכֶּסֶףKE/sefof moneyכִּיkibecauseלָקְחוּla/ke/CHUthey receivedשְׂכָרָםse/kha/RAMtheir wagesכְּפִיke/FIaccording toעֲבֹדָתָםa/vo/da/TAMtheir employוַיָּסִיתוּvay/ya/si/TUthat they stirred upאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleלִפְרָעוֹתlif/ra/OTto riotingsוּלְכׇל־מִינֵיu/le/KHOL-mi/NEand all mannerמְהוּמוֹתme/hu/MOTof disturbancesוָרֶשַׁעva/RE/shaand wickednessלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיַרְבּוּyar/BUthey might have moreלָהֶםla/HEMunto themselvesעֲבוֹדָהa/vo/DAemployוְיִקְחוּve/yik/CHUthat they might getכֶּסֶףKE/sefmoneyכְּפִיke/FIaccording toהַמִּשְׁפָּטִיםham/mish/pa/TIMthe suitsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהוּבְאוּhuv/Uwere broughtלִפְנֵיהֶםlif/ne/HEMbefore themוַיָּסִיתוּvay/ya/si/TUtherefore they stirred upאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleנֶגֶדNE/gedagainstאַלְמָאAL/maAlmaוַעֲמוּלֶק׃va/A/mu/lekand Amulek

    Now, it was for the sole purpose to get gain, because they received their wages according to their employ, therefore, they did stir up the people to riotings, and all manner of disturbances and wickedness, that they might have more employ, that they might get money according to the suits which were brought before them; therefore they did stir up the people against Alma and Amulek.

    וַיָּחֶלvay/YA/cheland beganזִיזְרוֹםZi/ZE/romZeezromהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלִשְׁאֹלlish/OLto questionאֶת־עֲמוּלֶקet-A/mu/lekAmulekלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהֲתַעֲנֶהha/ta/a/NEwill you answerלִיlimeדְּבָרִיםde/va/RIMquestionsאֲחָדִיםa/cha/DIMa fewאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֶשְׁאָלֶךָesh/a/le/KHAI shall ask youוְזִיזְרוֹםve/Zi/ZE/romnow Zeezrom wasאִישׁisha manמָהִירma/HIRexpertבְּתַחְבֻּלוֹתbe/tach/bu/LOTin the devicesהַשָּׂטָןhas/sa/TANof the devilלְהַשְׁחִיתle/hash/CHITto destroyאֶת־הַטּוֹבet-hat/TOVthat which is goodוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand he saidאֶל־עֲמוּלֶקel-A/mu/lekunto Amulekהֲתַעֲנֶהha/ta/a/NEwill you answerאֶת־הַשְּׁאֵלוֹתet-hash/she/e/LOTthe questionsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֶשְׁאָלֶךָ׃esh/a/le/KHAI shall ask you

    And this Zeezrom began to question Amulek, saying: Will ye answer me a few questions which I shall ask you? Now Zeezrom was a man who was expert in the devices of the devil, that he might destroy that which was good; therefore, he said unto Amulek: Will ye answer the questions which I shall put unto you?

    וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredעֲמוּלֶקA/mu/lekAmulekאֵלָיוe/LAYVunto himלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingכֵּןkenyeaאִם־יִהְיֶהim-yih/YEif it beכְּרוּחַke/RU/achaccording to the SpiritיְהוָהAdonaiof Adonaiאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isבִּיbiin meכִּיkiforלֹא־אֹמַרlo-O/marI shall not sayדָּבָרda/VARa thingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isלֹאlonotכְרוּחַkhe/RU/achaccording to the SpiritיְהוָהAdonaiof Adonaiוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidזִיזְרוֹםZi/ZE/romZeezromאֵלָיוe/LAYVunto himהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdשֵׁשׁsheshsixאׇנְטִיon/TIontiesכֶסֶףKHE/sefof silverוְאֶת־כֻּלָּםve/ET-kul/LAMand all theseאֶתֵּן־לְךָet/TEN-le/KHAI will give youאִם־תְּכַחֵשׁim-te/kha/CHESHif you will denyכִּי־יֵשׁki-yeshthat there isאֵלela Godעֶלְיוֹן׃El/YONMost High

    And Amulek said unto him: Yea, if it be according to the Spirit of the Lord, which is in me; for I shall say nothing which is contrary to the Spirit of the Lord. And Zeezrom said unto him: Behold, here are six onties of silver, and all these will I give thee if thou wilt deny the existence of a Supreme Being.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidעֲמוּלֶקA/mu/lekAmulekהוֹיhoyO youבֶּן־שְׁאוֹלben-she/OLchild of hellלָמָּהLAM/mawhyתְנַסֵּנִיte/nas/se/NItempt you meהֲלֹאha/LOdo you notיָדַעְתָּya/DA/taknowכִּיkithatהַצַּדִּיקhats/tsad/DIKthe righteousלֹא־יִכָּנַעlo-yik/ka/NAyield notלְמַסּוֹתle/mas/SOTto temptationsכָּאֵלֶּה׃ka/EL/lesuch as these

    Now Amulek said: O thou child of hell, why tempt ye me? Knowest thou that the righteous yieldeth to no such temptations?

24. 24

    הֲתַאֲמִיןha/ta/a/MINbelieve youכִּיkithatאֵיןenthere is noאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלְךָle/KHAunto youלֹאlonayכִּיkibutיָדַעְתָּya/DA/tayou knowכִּי־יֵשׁki-yeshthat there isאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMa Godאַךְakhbutאָהַבְתָּa/HAV/tayou loveאֶת־הַבֶּצַעet-hab/BE/tsathat lucreמֵאֱלֹהִים׃me/e/lo/HIMmore than God

    Believest thou that there is no God? I say unto you, Nay, thou knowest that there is a God, but thou lovest that lucre more than him.

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowשִׁקַּרְתָּshik/kar/TAyou liedלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוְאֵלַיve/e/LAYand unto meלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdשֵׁשׁsheshsixהָאׇנְטִיha/on/TIthe ontiesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיְקָרִיםye/ka/RIMare of worthמְאֹדme/ODgreatאֶתְּנֵםet/te/NEMI will giveלְךָle/KHAyouוּבִלְבָבְךָu/vil/va/ve/KHAbut in your heartחָשַׁבְתָּcha/SHAV/tayou thoughtלְהַחֲזִיקָםle/ha/cha/zi/KAMto retain themמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/nifrom meוְאַךְve/AKHand yetחָפַצְתָּcha/FATS/tayou desiredכִּיkithatאֲכַחֵשׁa/kha/CHESHI should denyבֵּאלֹהִיםbe/lo/HIMin Godאֱמֶתe/METtrueוְחַיve/CHAYand livingלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתוּכַלtu/KHALyou might be ableלְהַשְׁמִידֵנִיle/hash/mi/de/NIto destroy meוְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdעַל־הָרָעָהal-ha/ra/Afor the evilהַגְּדוֹלָהhag/ge/do/LAgreatהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisתִּשָּׂאtis/SAyou shall haveגְּמוּלְךָ׃ge/mul/KHAyour reward

    And now thou hast lied before God unto me. Thou saidst unto me—Behold these six onties, which are of great worth, I will give unto thee—when thou hadst it in thy heart to retain them from me; and it was only thy desire that I should deny the true and living God, that thou mightest have cause to destroy me. And now behold, for this great evil thou shalt have thy reward.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidזִיזְרוֹםZi/ZE/romZeezromאֵלָיוe/LAYVunto himהֲתֹאמַרha/to/MARsay youכִּי־יֵשׁki-yeshthat there isאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMa Godאֱמֶתe/METtrueוְחַי׃ve/CHAYand living

    And Zeezrom said unto him: Thou sayest there is a true and living God?

27. 27

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidעֲמוּלֶקA/mu/lekAmulekכֵּןkenyeaיֵשׁyeshthere isאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMa Godאֱמֶתe/METtrueוְחַי׃ve/CHAYand living

    And Amulek said: Yea, there is a true and living God.

28. 28

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidזִיזְרוֹםZi/ZE/romZeezromהֲיֵשׁha/YESHis thereיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreמֵאֵלme/ELthan Godאֶחָד׃e/CHADone

    Now Zeezrom said: Is there more than one God?

29. 29

    וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand he answeredלֹא׃lono

    And he answered, No.

30. 30

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidזִיזְרוֹםZi/ZE/romZeezromאֵלָיוe/LAYVunto himשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainאֵיךְekhhowיָדַעְתָּya/DA/taknow youאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

    Now Zeezrom said unto him again: How knowest thou these things?

31. 31

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand he saidמַלְאָךְmal/AKHan angelהוֹדִיעַho/DI/amade knownאוֹתָםo/TAMthemלִי׃liunto me

    And he said: An angel hath made them known unto me.

32. 32

    וַיֹּסֶףvay/YO/sefand continuedזִיזְרוֹםZi/ZE/romZeezromלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingמִיmiwho isהוּאhuHeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיָבוֹאya/VOshall comeהֲבֶן־אֱלֹהִיםha/VEN-E/lo/HIMis it the Son of Godהוּא׃huHe

    And Zeezrom said again: Who is he that shall come? Is it the Son of God?

33. 33

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand he saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVunto himהֵן׃henyea

    And he said unto him, Yea.

34. 34

    וַיֹּסֶףvay/YO/sefand continuedזִיזְרוֹםZi/ZE/romZeezromלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהֲיוֹשִׁיעַha/yo/SHI/ashall He saveאֶת־עַמּוֹet-am/MOHis peopleבְּחַטֹּאתָםbe/chat/to/TAMin their sinsוַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredעֲמוּלֶקA/mu/lekAmulekוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVunto himאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלְךָle/KHAunto youלֹאlonayכִּי־לֹאki-lofor notיוּכַלyu/KHALis He ableלְכַחֵשׁle/kha/CHESHto denyבִּדְבָרוֹ׃bid/va/ROHis word

    And Zeezrom said again: Shall he save his people in their sins? And Amulek answered and said unto him: I say unto you he shall not, for it is impossible for him to deny his word.

    Now Zeezrom said unto the people: See that ye remember these things; for he said there is but one God; yet he saith that the Son of God shall come, but he shall not save his people—as though he had authority to command God.

36. 36

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidעֲמוּלֶקA/mu/lekAmulekאֵלָיוe/LAYVunto himשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdשִׁקַּרְתָּshik/kar/TAyou liedכִּי־תֹאמַרki-to/MARfor you sayכִּיkithatאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI spokeכִּיkithatיֶשׁ־לִיyesh-liI haveשִׁלְטוֹןshil/TONauthorityלְצַוּוֹתle/tsav/VOTto commandאֶת־הָאֱלֹהִיםet-ha/e/lo/HIMGodיַעַןYA/anbecauseאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI saidלֹאlonotיוֹשִׁיעַyo/SHI/ashall He saveאֶת־עַמּוֹet-am/MOHis peopleבְּחַטֹּאתָם׃be/chat/to/TAMin their sins

    Now Amulek saith again unto him: Behold thou hast lied, for thou sayest that I spake as though I had authority to command God because I said he shall not save his people in their sins.

37. 37

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאֹמֵרo/MERsayלְךָle/KHAunto youשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainלֹא־יוּכַלlo-yu/KHALthat He cannotלְהוֹשִׁיעָםle/ho/shi/AMsave themבְּחַטֹּאתָםbe/chat/to/TAMin their sinsכִּי־לֹאki-lofor notאוּכַלu/KHALI canלְכַחֵשׁle/kha/CHESHdenyבִּדְבָרוֹbid/va/ROHis wordוְהוּאve/HUand Heאָמַרa/MARsaidכִּיkithatכׇל־טָמֵאkhol-ta/MEany unclean thingלֹאlocannotיִירַשׁYI/rashinheritאֶת־מַלְכוּתet-mal/KHUTthe kingdomהַשָּׁמָיִםhash/sha/MA/yimof heavenוְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאֵיךְekhhowתִּוָּשְׁעוּtiv/va/she/Ucan you be savedאִם־לֹאim-loexceptתִירְשׁוּti/re/SHUyou shall inheritאֶת־מַלְכוּתet-mal/KHUTthe kingdomהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimof heavenלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeלֹאloyou cannotתִוָּשְׁעוּtiv/va/she/Ube savedבְּחַטֹּאתֵיכֶם׃be/chat/to/te/KHEMin your sins

    And I say unto you again that he cannot save them in their sins; for I cannot deny his word, and he hath said that no unclean thing can inherit the kingdom of heaven; therefore, how can ye be saved, except ye inherit the kingdom of heaven? Therefore, ye cannot be saved in your sins.

38. 38

    וַיֹּסֶףvay/YO/sefand continuedזִיזְרוֹםZi/ZE/romZeezromלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingלוֹlounto himהֲבֶן־אֱלֹהִיםha/VEN-E/lo/HIMis the Son of GodהוּאhuHeאֲבִיA/VIthe very Fatherעוֹלָם׃O/LAMEternal

    Now Zeezrom saith again unto him: Is the Son of God the very Eternal Father?

39. 39

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidעֲמוּלֶקA/mu/lekAmulekאֵלָיוe/LAYVunto himכֵּןkenyeaהוּאhuHe isאֲבִיA/VIthe very FatherעוֹלָםO/LAMEternalשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimof heavenוָאָרֶץva/A/retsand of earthוְכׇל־אֲשֶׁרve/KHOL-a/SHERand all that isבָּםbamin themהוּאhuHe isהָרֵאשִׁיתha/re/SHITthe beginningוְהָאַחֲרִיתve/ha/a/cha/RITand the endהָרִאשׁוֹןha/ri/SHONthe firstוְהָאַחֲרוֹן׃ve/ha/a/cha/RONand the last

    And Amulek said unto him: Yea, he is the very Eternal Father of heaven and of earth, and all things which in them are; he is the beginning and the end, the first and the last;

40. 40

    וְהוּאve/HUand Heיָבוֹאya/VOshall comeאֶל־הָעוֹלָםel-ha/o/LAMinto the worldלִגְאֹלlig/OLto redeemאֶת־עַמּוֹet-am/MOHis peopleוְיִשָּׂאve/yis/SAand He shall takeאֶת־פִּשְׁעֵיet-pish/Ethe transgressionsהַמַּאֲמִינִיםham/ma/a/mi/NIMof those who believeבִּשְׁמוֹbish/MOon His nameוְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand these areהֵםhemtheyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיִהְיוּyih/YUshall beלָהֶםla/HEMunto themחַיֵּי־עוֹלָםchay/YE-o/LAMeternal lifeוְהַיְשׁוּעָהve/hay/shu/Aand salvationלֹא־תָבוֹאlo-ta/VOcomes notלְאַחֵר׃le/a/CHERto any other

    And he shall come into the world to redeem his people; and he shall take upon him the transgressions of those who believe on his name; and these are they that shall have eternal life, and salvation cometh to none else.

41. 41

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהָרְשָׁעִיםha/re/sha/IMthe wickedנִשְׁאָרִיםnish/a/RIMremainכְּלֹא־הָיְתָהke/LO-ha/ye/TAas if there were noגְאֻלָּהge/ul/LAredemptionזוּלַתzu/LATsave it beהַתֵּרhat/TERthe loosingמוֹסְרוֹתmos/ROTof the bandsהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetof deathכִּיkiforהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdיָבוֹאya/VOshall comeהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenכׇּל־הַמֵּתִיםkol-ham/me/TIMall the deadיָקוּמוּya/KU/mushall ariseוְיַעַמְדוּve/ya/am/DUand standלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוְיִשָּׁפְטוּve/yish/sha/fe/TUand be judgedכְּמַעֲשֵׂיהֶם׃ke/ma/a/se/HEMaccording to their works

    Therefore the wicked remain as though there had been no redemption made, except it be the loosing of the bands of death; for behold, the day cometh that all shall rise from the dead and stand before God, and be judged according to their works.

42. 42

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowיֵשׁyeshthere isמָוֶתMA/veta deathהַנִּקְרָאhan/nik/RAwhich is calledמוֹתmotthe deathהַגְּוִיָּהhag/ge/viy/YAof the bodyוּמוֹתu/MOTand the deathהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achof Christיַתִּירyat/TIRshall looseאֶת־מוֹסְרוֹתet-mos/ROTthe bandsמוֹתmotof the deathהַגְּוִיָּהhag/ge/viy/YAof the bodyהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיָקוּמוּya/KU/muthey shall be raisedכֻלָּםkhul/LAMallמִן־מוֹתmin-motfrom the deathהַגְּוִיָּהhag/ge/viy/YAof the bodyהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    Now, there is a death which is called a temporal death; and the death of Christ shall loose the bands of this temporal death, that all shall be raised from this temporal death.

43. 43

    וְהָרוּחַve/ha/RU/achand the spiritוְהַגְּוִיָּהve/hag/ge/viy/YAand the bodyיִתְאַחֲדוּyit/a/cha/DUshall be reunitedשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainבְּצוּרָתָםbe/tsu/ra/TAMin their formהַשְּׁלֵמָהhash/she/le/MAperfectוְכׇל־אֵבָרve/KHOL-e/VARboth every limbוָפֶרֶקva/FE/rekand jointיָשׁוּבוּya/SHU/vushall be restoredלִמְקוֹמוֹlim/ko/MOto its placeהָרָאוּיha/ra/UYproperכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHEReven asאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuwe areכָּעֵתka/ETat this timeוְנוּבָאve/nu/VAand we shall be broughtלַעֲמֹדla/a/MODto standלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodיֹדְעִיםyod/IMknowingכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHEReven asיָדַעְנוּya/DA/nuwe knowעַתָּהat/TAnowוְזִכָּרוֹןve/zik/ka/RONand a remembranceבָּרוּרba/RURbrightלְכׇל־אַשְׁמָתֵנוּ׃le/KHOL-ash/ma/te/NUof all our guilt

    The spirit and the body shall be reunited again in its perfect form; both limb and joint shall be restored to its proper frame, even as we now are at this time; and we shall be brought to stand before God, knowing even as we know now, and have a bright recollection of all our guilt.

44. 44

    וְהַתְּקוּמָהve/hat/te/ku/MAand the restorationהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisתָּבוֹאta/VOshall comeלַכֹּלlak/KOLto allלְזָקֵןle/za/KENboth oldוְלָצָעִירve/la/tsa/IRand youngלְעֶבֶדle/E/vedboth bondוְלַחׇפְשִׁיve/la/chof/SHIand freeלְזָכָרle/za/KHARboth maleוְלִנְקֵבָהve/lin/ke/VAand femaleלָרָשָׁעla/ra/SHAboth the wickedוְלַצַּדִּיקve/lats/tsad/DIKand the righteousוְאַףve/AFand evenלֹא־תֹאבַדlo-to/VADshall not be lostשַׂעֲרָהsa/a/RAa hairאַחַתa/CHAToneמֵרֹאשָׁםme/ro/SHAMfrom their headsכִּיkiforכׇל־דָּבָרkhol-da/VARevery thingיָשׁוּבya/SHUVshall be restoredלְצוּרָתוֹle/tsu/ra/TOto its formהַשְּׁלֵמָהhash/she/le/MAperfectכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהוּאhuit isעַתָּהat/TAnowאוֹoorבַּגְּוִיָּהbag/ge/viy/YAin the bodyוְיוּבְאוּve/yuv/Uand shall be broughtוְיַעַמְדוּve/ya/am/DUand arraignedלְדִיןle/DINfor judgmentלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeכִּסֵּאkis/SEthe barהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achof Christהַבֵּןhab/BENthe Sonוְהָאֱלֹהִיםve/ha/e/lo/HIMand Godהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherוְרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁve/RU/ach-hak/KO/deshand the Holy Spiritאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהֵםhemareאֵלela Godעוֹלָםo/LAMeternalאֶחָדe/CHADoneלְהִשָּׁפֵטle/hish/sha/FETto be judgedכְּמַעֲשֵׂיהֶםke/ma/a/se/HEMaccording to their worksאִם־טוֹבִיםim-to/VIMwhether they be goodוְאִם־רָעִים׃ve/IM-ra/IMor whether they be evil

    Now, this restoration shall come to all, both old and young, both bond and free, both male and female, both the wicked and the righteous; and even there shall not so much as a hair of their heads be lost; but every thing shall be restored to its perfect frame, as it is now, or in the body, and shall be brought and be arraigned before the bar of Christ the Son, and God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, which is one Eternal God, to be judged according to their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil.

45. 45

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tiI spokeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMunto youעַל־מוֹתal-motconcerning the deathגְּוִיַּתge/viy/YATof the bodyהַבָּשָׂרhab/ba/SARof fleshוְגַםve/GAMand alsoעַל־תְּקוּמַתal-te/ku/MATconcerning the resurrectionגְּוִיַּתge/viy/YATof the bodyהַבָּשָׂרhab/ba/SARof fleshאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youכִּיkithatגְּוִיַּתge/viy/YATthe bodyהַבָּשָׂרhab/ba/SARof fleshהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisתָּקוּםta/KUMshall riseלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beגְּוִיַּתge/viy/YATa bodyאַל־מָוֶתal-MA/vetof immortalityלֵאמֹרle/MORthat is to sayמִן־הַמָּוֶתmin-ham/MA/vetfrom deathהָרִאשׁוֹןha/ri/SHONthe firstלְחַיִּיםle/chay/YIMunto lifeלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TIthat notיָמוּתוּya/MU/tuthey dieעוֹדodany moreרוּחוֹתֵיהֶםru/cho/te/HEMtheir spiritsמִתְאַחֲדִיםmit/a/cha/DIMunitingעִם־גְּוִיּוֹתֵיהֶםim-ge/viy/yo/te/HEMwith their bodiesלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverלֹאlonotיִפָּרְדוּyip/pa/re/DUto be dividedוְכָכָהve/KHA/khaand thusהַכֹּלhak/KOLthe wholeנַעֲשֶׂהna/a/SEbecomingרוּחָנִיru/cha/NIspiritualוְאַל־מָוֶתve/AL-MA/vetand immortalוְלֹאve/LOand notיִרְאוּyir/Uthey shall seeעוֹדodany moreשָׁחַת׃SHA/chatcorruption

    Now, behold, I have spoken unto you concerning the death of the mortal body, and also concerning the resurrection of the mortal body. I say unto you that this mortal body is raised to an immortal body, that is from death, even from the first death unto life, that they can die no more; their spirits uniting with their bodies, never to be divided; thus the whole becoming spiritual and immortal, that they can no more see corruption.

46. 46

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenכִּלָּהkil/LAfinishedעֲמוּלֶקA/mu/lekAmulekאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוַיָּחֵלּוּvay/ya/CHEL/luand beganהָעָםha/AMthe peopleלְהִשְׁתּוֹמֵםle/hish/to/MEMto be astonishedשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainוְגַםve/GAMand alsoזִיזְרוֹםZi/ZE/romZeezromהֵחֵלhe/CHELbeganלִרְעֹדlir/ODto trembleוַיִּתְּמוּvay/yit/te/MUand thus endedדִּבְרֵיdiv/REthe wordsעֲמוּלֶקA/mu/lekof Amulekאוֹoorזֹאתzotthis isכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERall thatכָּתַבְתִּי׃ka/TAV/tiI wrote

    Now, when Amulek had finished these words the people began again to be astonished, and also Zeezrom began to tremble. And thus ended the words of Amulek, or this is all that I have written.
