   And it came to pass that as the disciples of Jesus were journeying and were preaching the things which they had both heard and seen, and were baptizing in the name of Jesus, it came to pass that the disciples were gathered together and were united in mighty prayer and fasting.

   וַיֵּרָאvay/ye/RAand showed himselfיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainכִּיkiforהִתְפַּלְלוּhit/pal/LUthey were prayingאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherבִּשְׁמוֹbish/MOin his nameוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand cameיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusוַיַּעֲמֹדvay/ya/a/MODand stoodבְּתוֹכָםbe/to/KHAMin the midst of themוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themמַה־תִּרְצוּma-tir/TSUwhat will youאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאֶתֵּןet/TENI shall giveלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

   And Jesus again showed himself unto them, for they were praying unto the Father in his name; and Jesus came and stood in the midst of them, and said unto them: What will ye that I shall give unto you?

   וַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVunto himאֲדֹנִיa/do/NILordרְצוֹנֵנוּre/tso/ne/NUwe will thatכִּי־תֹאמַרki-to/MARyou would tellלָנוּLA/nuusבְּאֵיזֶהbe/e/ZEby whatשֵׁםshemnameנִקְרָאnik/RAshall we callלַקְּהִלָּהlak/ke/hil/LAthe churchהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisכִּי־יֵשׁki-yeshfor there areמְרִיבוֹתme/ri/VOTdisputationsבָּעָםba/AMamong the peopleעַל־הַדָּבָרal-had/da/VARconcerning the matterהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   And they said unto him: Lord, we will that thou wouldst tell us the name whereby we shall call this church; for there are disputations among the people concerning this matter.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordאָמֵןa/MENverilyאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youמַדּוּעַmad/DU/awhy is it thatיִתְלוֹנְנוּyit/lon/NUshould murmurהָעָםha/AMthe peopleוְיָרִיבוּve/ya/ri/VUand disputeעַל־הַדָּבָרal-had/da/VARbecause of the thingהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   And the Lord said unto them: Verily, verily, I say unto you, why is it that the people should murmur and dispute because of this thing?

   הֲלֹאha/LOhave they notקָרְאוּka/re/Ureadאֶת־הַכְּתוּבִיםet-hak/ke/tu/VIMthe scripturesהָאֹמְרִיםha/om/RIMwhich sayכִּיkithatעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMyou mustלָשֵׂאתla/SETtake upon youאֶת־שֵׁםet-shemthe nameהַמָּשִׁיחַham/Ma/SHI/achof Christאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהוּאhuisשְׁמִיshe/MImy nameכִּיkiforבַּשֵּׁםbash/SHEMby the nameהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisתִּקָּרְאוּtik/ka/re/Ushall you be calledבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMat the dayהָאַחֲרוֹן׃ha/a/cha/RONthe last

   Have they not read the scriptures, which say ye must take upon you the name of Christ, which is my name? For by this name shall ye be called at the last day;

   וְכׇל־הַנּוֹשֵׂאve/KHOL-han/no/SEand whoso takesאֶת־שְׁמִיet-she/MImy nameוּמַחֲזִיקu/ma/cha/ZIKand enduresעַד־הַקֵּץad-hak/KETSto the endהוּאhuthe sameיִוָּשַׁעyiv/va/SHAshall be savedבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMat the dayהָאַחֲרוֹן׃ha/a/cha/RONthe last

   And whoso taketh upon him my name, and endureth to the end, the same shall be saved at the last day.

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERwhatsoeverתַּעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou shall doתַּעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou shall doבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeתִּקְרְאוּtik/re/Uyou shall callלַקְּהִלָּהlak/ke/hil/LAthe churchבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameוְתִקְרְאוּve/tik/re/Uand you shall callאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיְבָרֵךְye/va/REKHhe will blessאֶת־הַקְּהִלָּהet-hak/ke/hil/LAthe churchלְמַעֲנִי׃le/ma/a/NIfor my sake

   Therefore, whatsoever ye shall do, ye shall do it in my name; therefore ye shall call the church in my name; and ye shall call upon the Father in my name that he will bless the church for my sake.

   And how be it my church save it be called in my name? For if a church be called in Moses’ name then it be Moses’ church; or if it be called in the name of a man then it be the church of a man; but if it be called in my name then it is my church, if it so be that they are built upon my gospel.

   אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכִּיkithatנִבְנֵיתֶםniv/ne/TEMyou are builtעַל־בְּשׂוֹרָתִיal-be/so/ra/TIupon my gospelלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeתִּקְרְאוּtik/re/Uyou shall callכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERwhatsoeverתִּקְרְאוּtik/re/Uyou callבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאִםimifתִּקְרְאוּtik/re/Uyou callאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherבְּעַדbe/ADforהַקְּהִלָּהhak/ke/hil/LAthe churchאִםimifבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameיִשְׁמַעyish/MAwill hearהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherאֶתְכֶם׃et/KHEMyou

   Verily I say unto you, that ye are built upon my gospel; therefore ye shall call whatsoever things ye do call, in my name; therefore if ye call upon the Father, for the church, if it be in my name the Father will hear you;

10. 10

    וְאִםve/IMand ifנִבְנְתָהniv/ne/TAit be builtהַקְּהִלָּהhak/ke/hil/LAthe churchעַל־בְּשׂוֹרָתִיal-be/so/ra/TIupon my gospelאָזazthenיַרְאֶהyar/Ewill show forthהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherאֶת־מַעֲשָׂיוet-ma/a/SAYVhis own worksבְּתוֹכָהּ׃be/to/KHAin it

    And if it so be that the church is built upon my gospel then will the Father show forth his own works in it.

11. 11

    וְאִם־לֹאve/IM-lobut if notנִבְנְתָהniv/ne/TAit be builtעַל־בְּשׂוֹרָתִיal-be/so/ra/TIupon my gospelכִּי־אִםki-imbutעַל־מַעֲשֵׂיal-ma/a/SEupon the worksאָדָםa/DAMof menאוֹoorעַל־מַעֲשֵׂיal-ma/a/SEupon the worksהַשָּׂטָןhas/sa/TANof the devilאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youיִשְׂמְחוּyis/me/CHUthey have joyבְמַעֲשֵׂיהֶםve/ma/a/se/HEMin their worksלְעֵתle/ETfor a seasonוְאַחֲרֵי־כֵןve/a/cha/RE-khenand by and byיָבוֹאya/VOshall comeהַקֵּץhak/KETSthe endוְיִכָּרְתוּve/yik/ka/re/TUand they are hewn downוְיֻשְׁלְכוּve/yush/le/KHUand castבָאֵשׁva/ESHinto the fireאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֵיןenthere is noמִמֶּנָּהmim/MEN/nafrom itמָשׁוּב׃ma/SHUVreturn

    But if it be not built upon my gospel, and is built upon the works of men, or upon the works of the devil, verily I say unto you they have joy in their works for a season, and by and by the end cometh, and they are hewn down and cast into the fire, from whence there is no return.

12. 12

    כִּיkiforמַעֲשֵׂיהֶםma/a/se/HEMtheir worksהֹלְכִיםhol/KHIMfollowאַחֲרֵיהֶםa/cha/re/HEMafter themכִּיkiforבַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURbecause ofמַעֲשֵׂיהֶםma/a/se/HEMtheir worksיִכָּרְתוּyik/ka/re/TUthey are hewn downלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeזִכְרוּzikh/RUrememberאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe thingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI toldלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

    For their works do follow them, for it is because of their works that they are hewn down; therefore remember the things that I have told you.

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI gaveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouאֶת־בְּשׂוֹרָתִיet-be/so/ra/TImy gospelוְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisהַבְּשׂוֹרָהhab/be/so/RAthe gospelאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI gaveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouכִּיkithatבָאתִיVA/tiI cameלָעוֹלָםla/o/LAMinto the worldלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doרְצוֹןre/TSONthe willאָבִיA/VIof my FatherכִּיkibecauseאָבִיA/VImy Fatherשְׁלָחָנִי׃she/la/CHA/nisent me

    Behold I have given unto you my gospel, and this is the gospel which I have given unto you—that I came into the world to do the will of my Father, because my Father sent me.

14. 14

    וְאָבִיve/A/VIand my Fatherשְׁלָחַנִיshe/la/CHA/nisent meלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatאֶנָּשֵׂאen/na/SEI might be lifted upעַל־הַצְּלָבal-hats/tse/LAVupon the crossוְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterהִנָּשְׂאִיhin/na/se/II had been lifted upעַל־הַצְּלָבal-hats/tse/LAVupon the crossלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatאֶמְשֹׁךְem/SHOKHI might drawכׇּל־אָדָםkol-a/DAMall menאֵלַיe/LAYunto meכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasנִשֵּׂאתִיnis/se/TII have been lifted upבִּידֵיbi/DEby the handsאָדָםa/DAMof menכֵּןkeneven soיִנָּשְׂאוּyin/na/se/Ushall be lifted upבְּנֵי־הָאָדָםbe/NE-ha/a/DAMthe children of menבִּידֵיbi/DEby the handsהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherלַעֲמֹדla/a/MODto standלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meלְהִשָּׁפֵטle/hish/sha/FETto be judgedעַל־מַעֲשֵׂיהֶםal-ma/a/se/HEMof their worksאִם־טוֹבִיםim-to/VIMwhether they be goodוְאִם־רָעִים׃ve/IM-ra/IMor whether they be evil

    And my Father sent me that I might be lifted up upon the cross; and after that I had been lifted up upon the cross, that I might draw all men unto me, that as I have been lifted up by men even so should men be lifted up by the Father, to stand before me, to be judged of their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil—

15. 15

    וְלַסִּבָּהve/las/sib/BAand for the causeהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisנִשֵּׂאתִיnis/se/TII have been lifted upלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכְּכֹחַke/KHO/achaccording to the powerהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherאֶמְשֹׁךְem/SHOKHI will drawכׇּל־אָדָםkol-a/DAMall menאֵלַיe/LAYunto meלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיִשָּׁפְטוּyish/sha/fe/TUthey may be judgedכְּמַעֲשֵׂיהֶם׃ke/ma/a/se/HEMaccording to their works

    And for this cause have I been lifted up; therefore, according to the power of the Father I will draw all men unto me, that they may be judged according to their works.

16. 16

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beכׇל־הַשָּׁבkhol-hash/SHAVwhoso repentsוְנִטְבָּלve/nit/BALand is baptizedבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameיִמָּלֵאyim/MA/leshall be filledוְאִםve/IMand ifיַחֲזִיקya/cha/ZIKhe enduresעַד־הַקֵּץad-hak/KETSto the endהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲחַשְּׁבֵהוּa/chash/she/ve/HUI will hold himנָקִיna/KIguiltlessלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאָבִיA/VImy Fatherבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMat the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenאֶעֱמֹדe/e/MODI shall standלִשְׁפֹּטlish/POTto judgeאֶת־הָעוֹלָם׃et-ha/o/LAMthe world

    And it shall come to pass, that whoso repenteth and is baptized in my name shall be filled; and if he endureth to the end, behold, him will I hold guiltless before my Father at that day when I shall stand to judge the world.

17. 17

    וּמִיu/MIand heאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotיַחֲזִיקya/cha/ZIKenduresעַד־הַקֵּץad-hak/KETSto the endהוּאhuthe same is heאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat is alsoיִכָּרֵתyik/ka/RETis hewn downוְיֻשְׁלַךְve/yush/LAKHand castבָּאֵשׁba/ESHinto the fireאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatמִמֶּנָּהmim/MEN/nafrom itלֹא־יוּכְלוּlo-yukh/LUthey can no moreלָשׁוּבla/SHUVreturnבַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURbecause ofצֶדֶקTSE/dekthe justiceהָאָב׃ha/AVof the Father

    And he that endureth not unto the end, the same is he that is also hewn down and cast into the fire, from whence they can no more return, because of the justice of the Father.

18. 18

    וְזֶהve/ZEand thisהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARthe wordאֲשֶׁר־נָתַןa/SHER-na/TANwhich he gaveלִבְנֵי־הָאָדָםliv/NE-ha/a/DAMunto the children of menוּלְמַעַןu/le/MA/anand for the causeזֹאתzotof thisמְמַלֵּאme/mal/LEhe fulfillsאֶת־דְּבָרָיוet-de/va/RAYVhis wordsאֲשֶׁר־נָתַןa/SHER-na/TANwhich he gaveוְלֹאve/LOand notיְשַׁקֵּרye/shak/KERdoes he lieכִּיkibutמְמַלֵּאme/mal/LEhe fulfillsכׇּל־דְּבָרָיו׃kol-de/va/RAYVall his words

    And this is the word which he hath given unto the children of men. And for this cause he fulfilleth the words which he hath given, and he lieth not, but fulfilleth all his words.

19. 19

    וְלֹאve/LOand noיָבוֹאya/VOcan enterדָבָרda/VARthingטָמֵאta/MEuncleanאֶל־מַלְכוּתוֹel-mal/khu/TOinto his kingdomלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeלֹאlonothingיָבוֹאya/VOentersאֶל־מְנוּחָתוֹel-me/nu/cha/TOinto his restזוּלַתzu/LATsave it beאֵלֶּהEL/lethoseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoכִּבְּסוּkib/be/SUwashedבִגְדֵיהֶםvig/de/HEMtheir garmentsבְּדָמִיbe/da/MIin my bloodבַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURbecause ofאֱמוּנָתָםe/mu/na/TAMtheir faithוּתְשׁוּבַתu/te/shu/VATand the repentanceכׇּל־חַטֹּאתָםkol-chat/to/TAMof all their sinsוְנֶאֱמָנוּתָםve/ne/e/ma/nu/TAMand their faithfulnessעַד־הַקֵּץ׃ad-hak/KETSunto the end

    And no unclean thing can enter into his kingdom; therefore nothing entereth into his rest save it be those who have washed their garments in my blood, because of their faith, and the repentance of all their sins, and their faithfulness unto the end.

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowזֹאתzotthisהַמִּצְוָהham/mits/VAthe commandmentשׁוּבוּSHU/vurepentכׇּל־אַפְסֵי־אָרֶץkol-af/SE-A/retsall the ends of the earthוּבֹאוּu/VO/uand comeאֵלַיe/LAYunto meוְהִטָּבְלוּve/hit/ta/ve/LUand be baptizedבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתִּתְקַדְּשׁוּtit/kad/de/SHUyou may be sanctifiedבְּקַבֶּלְכֶםbe/kab/bel/KHEMby the receptionאֶת־רוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁet-RU/ach-hak/KO/deshof the Holy Ghostלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתַּעַמְדוּta/am/DUyou may standבְּלִי־מוּםbe/LI-mumspotlessלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMat the dayהָאַחֲרוֹן׃ha/a/cha/RONthe last

    Now this is the commandment: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me and be baptized in my name, that ye may be sanctified by the reception of the Holy Ghost, that ye may stand spotless before me at the last day.

21. 21

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youזֹאתzotthisבְּשׂוֹרָתִיbe/so/ra/TImy gospelוִידַעְתֶּםvi/da/TEMand you knowאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe thingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMyou mustלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doבִּקְהִלָּתִיbik/hil/la/TIin my churchכִּיkiforהַמַּעֲשִׂיםham/ma/a/SIMthe worksאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichרְאִיתֶםre/i/TEMyou sawאוֹתִיo/TImeעוֹשֶׂהo/SEdoאוֹתָםo/TAMthemתַּעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou shall doגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMalso youכִּיkiforאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichרְאִיתֶםre/i/TEMyou sawאוֹתִיo/TImeעוֹשֶׂהo/SEdoאוֹתוֹo/TOeven thatתַּעֲשׂוּ׃ta/a/SUshall you do

    Verily, verily, I say unto you, this is my gospel; and ye know the things that ye must do in my church; for the works which ye have seen me do that shall ye also do; for that which ye have seen me do even that shall ye do;

22. 22

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאִם־תַּעֲשׂוּim-ta/a/SUif you doאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאַשְׁרֵיכֶםash/re/KHEMblessed are youכִּיkiforתִּנָּשְׂאוּtin/na/se/Uyou shall be lifted upבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMat the dayהָאַחֲרוֹן׃ha/a/cha/RONthe last

    Therefore, if ye do these things blessed are ye, for ye shall be lifted up at the last day.

23. 23

    כִּתְבוּkit/VUwriteאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe thingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichרְאִיתֶםre/i/TEMyou sawוּשְׁמַעְתֶּםu/she/ma/TEMand heardמִלְּבַדmil/le/VADsave it beהָאֲסוּרִים׃ha/a/su/RIMthose which are forbidden

    Write the things which ye have seen and heard, save it be those which are forbidden.

24. 24

    כִּתְבוּkit/VUwriteאֶת־מַעֲשֵׂיet-ma/a/SEthe worksהָעָם־הַזֶּהha/AM-haz/ZEof this peopleאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיִהְיוּyih/YUshall beכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHEReven asנִכְתַּבnikh/TAVhas been writtenאֲשֶׁרa/SHERof that whichהָיָה׃ha/YAhas been

    Write the works of this people, which shall be, even as hath been written, of that which hath been.

    כִּיkiforהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdמִן־הַסְּפָרִיםmin-has/se/fa/RIMout of the booksאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנִכְתְּבוּnikh/te/VUhave been writtenוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand whichיִכָּתְבוּyik/ka/te/VUshall be writtenיִשָּׁפֵטyish/sha/FETshall be judgedהָעָם־הַזֶּהha/AM-haz/ZEthis peopleכִּיkiforבָהֶםva/HEMby themיִוָּדְעוּyiv/va/de/Ushall be made knownמַעֲשֵׂיהֶםma/a/se/HEMtheir worksלָאָדָם׃la/a/DAMunto men

    For behold, out of the books which have been written, and which shall be written, shall this people be judged, for by them shall their works be known unto men.

26. 26

    וְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdכׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםkol-had/de/va/RIMall thingsנִכְתָּבִיםnikh/ta/VIMare writtenבִּידֵיbi/DEby the handsהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeמִן־הַסְּפָרִיםmin-has/se/fa/RIMout of the booksאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיִכָּתְבוּyik/ka/te/VUshall be writtenיִשָּׁפֵטyish/sha/FETshall be judgedהָעוֹלָם׃ha/o/LAMthe world

    And behold, all things are written by the Father; therefore out of the books which shall be written shall the world be judged.

27. 27

    וּדְעוּu/de/Uand know youכִּיkithatתִהְיוּtih/YUyou shall beשׁוֹפְטֵיshof/TEjudgesהָעָם־הַזֶּהha/AM-haz/ZEof this peopleכַּמִּשְׁפָּטkam/mish/PATaccording to the judgmentאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֶתֵּןet/TENI shall giveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beצֶדֶקTSE/dekjustלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאֵיזֶהe/ZEwhat mannerאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMof menרָאוּיra/UYoughtלָכֶםla/KHEMyouלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHEReven asאֲנִי׃a/NII am

    And know ye that ye shall be judges of this people, according to the judgment which I shall give unto you, which shall be just. Therefore, what manner of men ought ye to be? Verily I say unto you, even as I am.

28. 28

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהוֹלֵךְho/LEKHgoאֲנִיa/NIIאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherוְאָמֵןve/a/MENand verilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERwhatsoeverתִּשְׁאֲלוּtish/a/LUyou shall askמֵאֵתme/ETofהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameיִנָּתֵןyin/na/TENshall be givenלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

    And now I go unto the Father. And verily I say unto you, whatsoever things ye shall ask the Father in my name shall be given unto you.

29. 29

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeשַׁאֲלוּsha/a/LUaskוּתְקַבְּלוּu/te/kab/be/LUand you shall receiveדִּפְקוּdif/KUknockוְיִפָּתַחve/yip/PA/tachand it shall be openedלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכִּיkiforהַשּׁוֹאֵלhash/sho/ELhe that asksמְקַבֵּלme/kab/BELreceivesוְלַדּוֹפֵקve/lad/do/FEKand unto him that knocksיִפָּתַח׃yip/PA/tachit shall be opened

    Therefore, ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for he that asketh, receiveth; and unto him that knocketh, it shall be opened.

30. 30

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdשִׂמְחָתִיsim/cha/TImy joyגְדוֹלָהge/do/LAgreatעַד־מְלֹאָהּad-me/lo/Aeven unto fulnessבִּגְלַלְכֶםbig/lal/KHEMbecause of youוְגַםve/GAMand alsoהַדּוֹרhad/DORthe generationהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאַףafyeaגַּםgamand evenשָׂמַחsa/MACHrejoicesהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherוְכׇל־מַלְאֲכֵיve/KHOL-mal/a/KHEand all the angelsהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshof the holyבִּגְלַלְכֶםbig/lal/KHEMbecause of youוְהַדּוֹרve/had/DORand the generationהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisכִּיkiforאִישׁishoneמֵהֶםme/HEMof themלֹאlonotאָבַד׃a/VADis lost

    And now, behold, my joy is great, even unto fulness, because of you, and also this generation; yea, and even the Father rejoiceth, and also all the holy angels, because of you and this generation; for none of them are lost.

31. 31

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdרְצוֹנִיre/tso/NII wouldכִּיkithatתָבִינוּta/vi/NUyou should understandכִּי־דִבַּרְתִּיki-dib/BAR/tifor I meanעַלalofהַחַיִּיםha/chay/YIMthem who are aliveכַּיּוֹםkay/YOMnowמִן־הַדּוֹרmin-had/DORof the generationהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְאִישׁve/ISHand oneמֵהֶםme/HEMof themלֹאlonotאָבַדa/VADis lostוּבָהֶםu/va/HEMand in themמְלֹאme/LOfulnessשִׂמְחָתִי׃sim/cha/TIof my joy

    Behold, I would that ye should understand; for I mean them who are now alive of this generation; and none of them are lost; and in them I have fulness of joy.

32. 32

    אַךְakhbutהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdמִתְעַצֵּבmit/ats/TSEVam grievedאֲנִיa/NIIבַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURbecause ofהַדּוֹרhad/DORthe generationהָרְבִיעִיha/re/vi/Ifourthמִן־הַדּוֹרmin-had/DORfrom the generationהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisכִּיkiforיוּבְלוּyuv/LUledשְׁבִיshe/VIcaptiveעַל־יָדוֹal-ya/DOby himכְּמוֹke/MOeven asבֶּן־אֲבַדּוֹןben-a/vad/DONthe son of perditionכִּיkiforיִמְכְּרוּנִיyim/ke/ru/NIthey will sell meבְּכֶסֶףbe/KHE/seffor silverוּבְזָהָבu/ve/za/HAVand for goldוּבַאֲשֶׁרu/va/a/SHERand for that whichעָשׁashmothמַשְׁחִיתmash/CHITcorruptsוְגַנָּבִיםve/gan/na/VIMand which thievesחוֹתְרִיםchot/RIMcan break throughוְגוֹנְבִיםve/gon/VIMand stealוּבַיּוֹםu/vay/YOMand in the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatאֶפְקֹדef/KODwill I visitאוֹתָםo/TAMthemבַּהֲשִׁיבִיba/ha/shi/VIeven in turningמַעֲשֵׂיהֶםma/a/se/HEMtheir worksעַל־רֹאשָׁם׃al-ro/SHAMupon their own heads

    But behold, it sorroweth me because of the fourth generation from this generation, for they are led away captive by him even as was the son of perdition; for they will sell me for silver and for gold, and for that which moth doth corrupt and which thieves can break through and steal. And in that day will I visit them, even in turning their works upon their own heads.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכְּכַלּוֹתke/khal/LOTwhen endedיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusלְדַבֵּרle/dab/BERto speakאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe sayingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֶל־תַּלְמִידָיוel-tal/mi/DAYVto his disciplesבֹּאוּBO/uenter you inבַשַּׁעַרvash/SHA/arat the gateהַצָּרhats/TSARthe straitכִּיkiforצַרtsarstraitהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/aris the gateוְצָרָהve/tsa/RAand narrowהַדֶּרֶךְhad/DE/rekhthe wayהַהֹלֶכֶתha/ho/LE/khetthat leadsלַחַיִּיםla/chay/YIMunto lifeוּמְעַטִּיםu/me/at/TIMand fewהֵםhemthere beהַמּוֹצְאִיםham/mots/IMthat findאוֹתָהּo/TAitאַךְakhbutרָחָבra/CHAVwideהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/aris the gateוּרְחָבָהu/re/cha/VAand broadהַדֶּרֶךְhad/DE/rekhthe wayהַהֹלֶכֶתha/ho/LE/khetthat leadsלַמָּוֶתlam/MA/vetunto deathוְרַבִּיםve/rab/BIMand manyהֵםhemthere beהַהוֹלְכִיםha/hol/KHIMthat travelבָּהּbathereinעַד־בּוֹאad-bountil the comingהַלַּיְלָהhal/LAY/laof the nightאֲשֶׁר־בּוֹa/SHER-bowhereinלֹא־יוּכַלlo-yu/KHALcannotאִישׁishany manלַעֲבֹד׃la/a/VODwork

    And it came to pass that when Jesus had ended these sayings he said unto his disciples: Enter ye in at the strait gate; for strait is the gate, and narrow is the way that leads to life, and few there be that find it; but wide is the gate, and broad the way which leads to death, and many there be that travel therein, until the night cometh, wherein no man can work.
