   And now, behold, I say unto you, that ye ought to search these things. Yea, a commandment I give unto you that ye search these things diligently; for great are the words of Isaiah.

   כִּי־אָכֵןki-a/KHENfor surelyדִּבֶּרdib/BERhe spokeעַל־כׇּל־דִּבְרֵיal-kol-div/REconcerning all the thingsעַמִּיam/MIof my peopleאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich areמִבֵּיתmib/BETof the houseיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELof Israelלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֵּןkensoיְדַבֵּרye/dab/BERmust he speakגַּםgamalsoאֶל־הַגּוֹיִם׃el-Hag/go/YIMunto the Gentiles

   For surely he spake as touching all things concerning my people which are of the house of Israel; therefore it must needs be that he must speak also to the Gentiles.

   וְכׇל־הַדְּבָרִיםve/KHOL-had/de/va/RIMand all the thingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichדִּבֶּרdib/BERhe spokeהָיוּha/YUhave beenוְיִהְיוּve/yih/YUand shall beכְּפִיke/FIaccording toהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe wordsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichדִּבֵּר׃dib/BERhe spoke

   And all things that he spake have been and shall be, even according to the words which he spake.

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהַקְשִׁיבוּhak/SHI/vugive heedלִדְבָרַיlid/va/RAYunto my wordsכִּתְבוּkit/VUwriteאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe thingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI toldלָכֶםla/KHEMyouוּכְפִיu/khe/FIand according toהָעֵתha/ETthe timeוּרְצוֹןu/re/TSONand the willהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherיֵצְאוּyets/Uthey shall go forthאֶל־הַגּוֹיִם׃el-Hag/go/YIMunto the Gentiles

   Therefore give heed to my words; write the things which I have told you; and according to the time and the will of the Father they shall go forth unto the Gentiles.

   וְכׇל־הַמַּקְשִׁיבve/KHOL-ham/mak/SHIVand whosoever will hearkenלִדְבָרַיlid/va/RAYunto my wordsוְשָׁבve/SHAVand repentsוְנִטְבָּלve/nit/BALand is baptizedהוּאhuthe sameיִוָּשַׁעyiv/va/SHAshall be savedדִּרְשׁוּdir/SHUsearchאֶת־הַנְּבִיאִיםet-han/ne/vi/IMthe prophetsכִּי־רַבִּיםki-rab/BIMfor manyהֵםhemthere beהַמְּעִידִיםham/me/i/DIMthat testifyעַל־הַדְּבָרִיםal-had/de/va/RIMconcerning the thingsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

   And whosoever will hearken unto my words and repenteth and is baptized, the same shall be saved. Search the prophets, for many there be that testify of these things.

   וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכְּדַבֵּרke/dab/BERwhen saidיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatבֵּאֵרbe/ERhe expoundedלָהֶםla/HEMunto themאֶת־כׇּל־הַכְּתוּבִיםet-kol-hak/ke/tu/VIMall the scripturesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichקִבְּלוּkib/be/LUthey receivedוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdכְּתוּבִיםke/tu/VIMscripturesאֲחֵרִיםa/che/RIMotherחָפַצְתִּיcha/FATS/tiI wouldאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתִּכְתְּבוּtikh/te/VUyou should writeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאֵיןenthere is notלָכֶם׃la/KHEMto you

   And now it came to pass that when Jesus had said these words he said unto them again, after he had expounded all the scriptures unto them which they had received, he said unto them: Behold, other scriptures I would that ye should write, that ye have not.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֶל־נֶפִיel-NE/fito Nephiהָבֵאha/VEbring forthאֶת־הַסֵּפֶרet-has/SE/ferthe recordאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichשָׁמַרְתָּ׃sha/MAR/tayou kept

   And it came to pass that he said unto Nephi: Bring forth the record which ye have kept.

   וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenהֵבִיאhe/VIbrought forthנֶפִיNE/fiNephiאֶת־הַסְּפָרִיםet-has/se/fa/RIMthe recordsוַיַּנִּיחֵםvay/yan/ni/CHEMand laid themלְפָנָיוle/fa/NAYVbefore himוַיִּשָּׂאvay/yis/SAand he castעֵינָיוe/NAYVhis eyesעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMupon themוַיֹּאמֶר׃vay/YO/merand said

   And when Nephi had brought forth the records, and laid them before him, he cast his eyes upon them and said:

   אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tiI commandedאֶת־עַבְדִּיet-av/DImy servantשְׁמוּאֵלShe/mu/ELSamuelהַלָּמָנִיhal/LA/ma/nithe Lamaniteלְהָעִידle/ha/IDthat he should testifyלָעָםla/AMunto the peopleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisכִּיkithatבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMat the dayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיְפָאֵרye/fa/ERshould glorifyהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherאֶת־שְׁמוֹet-she/MOhis nameבִּיbiin meיָקוּמוּya/KU/muthere should ariseקְדוֹשִׁיםke/do/SHIMsaintsרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyמִן־הַמֵּתִיםmin-ham/me/TIMfrom the deadוְיֵרָאוּve/ye/ra/Uand should appearלְרַבִּיםle/rab/BIMunto manyוִישָׁרְתוּvi/sha/re/TUand should ministerלָהֶםla/HEMunto themוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themהֲלֹאha/LOwas it notכֵןkhensoהָיָה׃ha/YAit was

   Verily I say unto you, I commanded my servant Samuel, the Lamanite, that he should testify unto this people, that at the day that the Father should glorify his name in me that there were many saints who should arise from the dead, and should appear unto many, and should minister unto them. And he said unto them: Was it not so?

    וַיַּעֲנוּvay/ya/a/NUand answeredתַלְמִידָיוtal/mi/DAYVhis disciplesוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidכֵּןkenyeaאֲדֹנִיa/do/NILordשְׁמוּאֵלShe/mu/ELSamuelנִבָּאnib/BAprophesiedכִּדְבָרֶיךָkid/va/RE/khaaccording to your wordsוְכֻלָּםve/khul/LAMand all of themנִמְלָאוּ׃nim/la/Uwere fulfilled

    And his disciples answered him and said: Yea, Lord, Samuel did prophesy according to thy words, and they were all fulfilled.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusמַדּוּעַmad/DU/ahow is itלֹאlonotכְּתַבְתֶּםke/tav/TEMyou wroteאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe thingהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisכִּיkithatקְדוֹשִׁיםke/do/SHIMsaintsרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyקָמוּKA/muaroseוְנִרְאוּve/nir/Uand appearedלְרַבִּיםle/rab/BIMunto manyוַיְשָׁרְתוּvay/sha/re/TUand ministeredלָהֶם׃la/HEMunto them

    And Jesus said unto them: How be it that ye have not written this thing, that many saints did arise and appear unto many and did minister unto them?

12. 12

    וַיִּזְכֹּרvay/yiz/KORand rememberedנֶפִיNE/fiNephiכִּיkithatהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARthe thingהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלֹאlonotנִכְתַּב׃nikh/TAVhad been written

    And it came to pass that Nephi remembered that this thing had not been written.

13. 13

    וַיְצַוvay/TSAVand commandedיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusכִּיkithatיִכָּתֵבyik/ka/TEVit should be writtenוַיִּכָּתֵבvay/yik/ka/TEVand it was writtenכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERaccording asצִוָּה׃tsiv/VAhe commanded

    And it came to pass that Jesus commanded that it should be written; therefore it was written according as he commanded.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenבֵּאֵרbe/ERexpoundedיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאֶת־כׇּל־הַכְּתוּבִיםet-kol-hak/ke/tu/VIMall the scripturesיַחַדYA/chadin oneאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichכָּתְבוּka/te/VUthey wroteוַיְצַוvay/TSAVand he commandedאוֹתָםo/TAMthemלְלַמֵּדle/lam/MEDto teachאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe thingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichבֵּאֵרbe/ERhe expoundedלָהֶם׃la/HEMunto them

    And now it came to pass that when Jesus had expounded all the scriptures in one, which they had written, he commanded them that they should teach the things which he had expounded unto them.
