   וְאָזve/AZand thenיִמָּלֵאyim/MA/leshall be fulfilledהַכָּתוּבhak/ka/TUVthat which is writtenרׇנִּיron/NIsingעֲקָרָהa/ka/RAO barrenלֹאlonotיָלָדָהya/LA/daboreפִּצְחִיpits/CHIbreak forthרִנָּהrin/NAinto singingוְצַהֲלִיve/tsa/ha/LIand cry aloudלֹא־חָלָהlo-CHA/ladid not travailכִּי־רַבִּיםki-rab/BIMfor more areבְּנֵי־שׁוֹמֵמָהbe/NE-sho/me/MAthe children of the desolateמִבְּנֵיmib/be/NEthan the childrenבְעוּלָהve/u/LAof the married wifeאָמַרa/MARsaithיְהוָה׃AdonaiAdonai

   And then shall that which is written come to pass: Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child; for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord.

   הַרְחִיבִיhar/CHI/vienlargeמְקוֹםme/KOMthe placeאׇהֳלֵךְo/ho/LEKHof your tentוִירִיעוֹתvi/ri/OTand the curtainsמִשְׁכְּנוֹתַיִךְmish/ke/no/TA/yikhof your habitationsיַטּוּyat/TUlet them stretch forthאַל־תַּחְשֹׂכִיal-tach/SO/khispare notהַאֲרִיכִיha/a/RI/khilengthenמֵיתָרַיִךְme/ta/RA/yikhyour cordsוִיתֵדֹתַיִךְvi/te/do/TA/yikhand your stakesחַזֵּקִי׃chaz/ZE/kistrengthen

   Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thy habitations; spare not, lengthen thy cords and strengthen thy stakes;

   כִּי־יָמִיןki-ya/MINfor on the right handוּשְׂמֹאולus/MOLand on the leftתִּפְרֹצִיtif/RO/tsiyou shall break forthוְזַרְעֵךְve/zar/EKHand your seedגּוֹיִםGo/YIMGentilesיִירָשׁyi/RASHshall inheritוְעָרִיםve/a/RIMand the citiesנְשַׁמּוֹתne/sham/MOTdesolateיוֹשִׁיבוּ׃yo/SHI/vushall make to be inhabited

   For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

   אַל־תִּירְאִיal-ti/re/Ifear notכִּי־לֹאki-lofor notתֵבוֹשִׁיte/VO/shishall you be ashamedוְאַל־תִּכָּלְמִיve/AL-tik/ka/le/MIneither be you confoundedכִּי־לֹאki-lofor notתַחְפִּירִיtach/PI/rishall you be put to shameכִּיkiforבֹשֶׁתVO/shetthe shameעֲלוּמַיִךְa/lu/MA/yikhof your youthתִּשְׁכָּחִיtish/KA/chiyou shall forgetוְחֶרְפַּתve/cher/PATand the reproachעֲלוּמַיִךְa/lu/MA/yikhof your youthלֹאlonotתִזְכְּרִיtiz/ke/RIshall you rememberוְחֶרְפַּתve/cher/PATand the reproachאַלְמְנוּתַיִךְal/me/nu/TA/yikhof your widowhoodלֹאlonotתִזְכְּרִי־עוֹד׃tiz/ke/RI-odshall you remember any more

   Fear not, for thou shalt not be ashamed; neither be thou confounded, for thou shalt not be put to shame; for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.

   כִּיkiforבֹעֲלַיִךְvo/a/LA/yikhyour husbandעֹשַׂיִךְo/SA/yikhyour makerיְהוָהAdonaiAdonaiצְבָאוֹתTse/va/OTof Hostsשְׁמוֹshe/MOis his nameוְגֹאֲלֵךְve/Go/a/LEKHand your Redeemerקְדוֹשׁ־יִשְׂרָאֵלke/DOSH-Yis/ra/ELthe Holy One of Israelאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe Godכׇל־הָאָרֶץkhol-ha/A/retsof all the earthיִקָּרֵא׃yik/ka/REshall he be called

   For thy maker, thy husband, the Lord of Hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel—the God of the whole earth shall he be called.

   כִּי־כְאִשָּׁהki-khe/ish/SHAfor as a womanעֲזוּבָהa/zu/VAforsakenוַעֲצוּבַתva/a/TSU/vatand grieved inרוּחַRU/achspiritקְרָאָךְke/ra/AKHcalled youיְהוָהAdonaiAdonaiוְאֵשֶׁתve/E/shetand a wifeנְעוּרִיםne/u/RIMof youthכִּיkiwhenתִמָּאֵסtim/ma/ESyou were refusedאָמַרa/MARsaithאֱלֹהָיִךְ׃e/lo/HA/yikhyour God

   For the Lord hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.

   בְּרֶגַעbe/RE/gafor a momentקָטֹןka/TONsmallעֲזַבְתִּיךְa/zav/TIKHhave I forsaken youוּבְרַחֲמִיםu/ve/ra/cha/MIMbut with merciesגְּדֹלִיםge/do/LIMgreatאֲקַבְּצֵךְ׃a/kab/be/TSEKHwill I gather you

   For a small moment have I forsaken thee, but with great mercies will I gather thee.

8. 8

   בְּשֶׁצֶףbe/SHE/tsefin a littleקֶצֶףKE/tsefwrathהִסְתַּרְתִּיhis/TAR/tiI hidפָנַיfa/NAYmy faceרֶגַעRE/gafor a momentמִמֵּךְmim/MEKHfrom youוּבְחֶסֶדu/ve/CHE/sedbut with kindnessעוֹלָםo/LAMeverlastingרִחַמְתִּיךְri/cham/TIKHwill I have mercy on youאָמַרa/MARsaithגֹּאֲלֵךְGo/a/LEKHyour Redeemerיְהוָה׃AdonaiAdonai

   In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment, but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.

   כִּי־מֵיki-mefor the watersנֹחַNO/achof Noahזֹאתzotthisלִיliunto meאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנִשְׁבַּעְתִּיnish/BA/tiI sworeמֵעֲבֹרme/a/VORfrom passing overמֵי־נֹחַmE-NO/achthe waters of Noahעוֹדodmoreעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsupon the earthכֵּןkensoנִשְׁבַּעְתִּיnish/BA/tiI sworeמִקְּצֹףmik/ke/TSOFthat I would not be wrothעָלָיִךְ׃a/LA/yikhwith you

   For this, the waters of Noah unto me, for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee.

10. 10

    כִּיkiforהֶהָרִיםhe/ha/RIMthe mountainsיָמוּשׁוּya/MU/shushall departוְהַגְּבָעוֹתve/hag/ge/va/OTand the hillsתְּמוּטֶינָהte/mu/TE/nabe removedוְחַסְדִּיve/chas/DIbut my kindnessמֵאִתֵּךְme/it/TEKHfrom youלֹא־יָמוּשׁlo-ya/MUSHshall not departוּבְרִיתu/ve/RITnor the covenantשְׁלוֹמִיshe/lo/MIof my peaceלֹאlonotתָמוּטta/MUTbe removedאָמַרa/MARsaithמְרַחֲמֵךְme/ra/cha/MEKHthat has mercy on youיְהוָה׃AdonaiAdonai

    For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

11. 11

    עֲנִיָּהa/niy/YAO you afflictedסֹעֲרָהso/a/RAtossed with tempestלֹאlonotנֻחָמָהnu/CHA/macomfortedהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIמַרְבִּיץmar/BITSwill layבַּפּוּךְbap/PUKHwith fair colorsאֲבָנַיִךְa/va/NA/yikhyour stonesוִיסַדְתִּיךְvi/sad/TIKHand lay your foundationsבַּסַּפִּירִים׃bas/sap/pi/RIMwith sapphires

    O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted! Behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colors, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

12. 12

    וְשַׂמְתִּיve/sam/TIand I will makeכַּדְכֹדkad/KHODof agatesשִׁמְשֹׁתַיִךְshim/sho/TA/yikhyour windowsוּשְׁעָרַיִךְu/she/a/RA/yikhand your gatesלְאַבְנֵיle/av/NEof stonesאֶקְדָּחek/DACHof carbunclesוְכׇל־גְּבוּלֵךְve/KHOL-ge/vu/LEKHand all your bordersלְאַבְנֵי־חֵפֶץ׃le/av/NE-CHE/fetsof pleasant stones

    And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.

13. 13

    וְכׇל־בָּנַיִךְve/KHOL-ba/NA/yikhand all your childrenלִמּוּדֵיlim/mu/DEshall be taughtיְהוָהAdonaiof Adonaiוְרַבve/RAVand great shall beשְׁלוֹםshe/LOMthe peaceבָּנָיִךְ׃ba/NA/yikhof your children

    And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

14. 14

    בִּצְדָקָהbits/da/KAin righteousnessתִּכּוֹנָנִיtik/ko/NA/nishall you be establishedרַחֲקִיra/cha/KIbe farמֵעֹשֶׁקme/O/shekfrom oppressionכִּי־לֹאki-lothat notתִירָאִיti/RA/iyou shall fearוּמִמְּחִתָּהu/mim/me/chit/TAand from terrorכִּיkibecauseלֹא־תִקְרַבlo-tik/RAVit shall not come nearאֵלָיִךְ׃e/LA/yikhto you

    In righteousness shalt thou be established; thou shalt be far from oppression for thou shalt not fear, and from terror for it shall not come near thee.

15. 15

    הֵןhenbeholdגּוֹרgorsurelyיָגוּרya/GURthey may gather togetherעָלַיִךְa/LA/yikhagainst youאֶפֶסE/fesbut notמֵאוֹתִיme/o/TIby meמִי־גָרmi-garwhoever shall gather togetherאִתָּךְit/TAKHagainst youעָלַיִךְa/LA/yikhfor your sakeיִפּוֹל׃yip/POLshall fall

    Behold, they shall surely gather together against thee, not by me; whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

16. 16

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIבָּרָאתִיba/RA/ticreatedחָרָשׁcha/RASHthe smithנֹפֵחַno/FE/achthat blowsבְּאֵשׁbe/ESHupon the fireפֶּחָםpe/CHAMof the coalsוּמוֹצִיאu/mo/TSIand that brings forthכְלִיkhe/LIan instrumentלְמַעֲשֵׂהוּle/ma/a/SE/hufor his workוְאָנֹכִיve/a/no/KHIand Iבָּרָאתִיba/RA/ticreatedמַשְׁחִיתmash/CHITthe wasterלְחַבֵּל׃le/chab/BELto destroy

    Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

17. 17

    כׇּל־כְּלִיkol-ke/LIno weaponיוּצַרyu/TSARthat is formedעָלַיִךְa/LA/yikhagainst youלֹאlonotיִצְלָחyits/LACHshall prosperוְכׇל־לָשׁוֹןve/KHOL-la/SHONand every tongueתְּחָרֵףte/cha/REFshall revileאוֹתָךְo/TAKHagainst youלַמִּשְׁפָּטlam/mish/PATin judgmentתַּרְשִׁיעִיtar/SHI/iyou shall condemnזֹאתzotthisנַחֲלַתna/cha/LATis the heritageעַבְדֵיav/DEof the servantsיְהוָהAdonaiof Adonaiוְצִדְקָתָםve/tsid/ka/TAMand their righteousnessמֵאִתִּיme/it/TIis of meנְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisaith Adonai

    No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall revile against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
