   And it came to pass that Jesus commanded his disciples that they should bring forth some bread and wine unto him.

   וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedבְּלֶכְתָּםbe/lekh/TAMwhile they were goneלְהָבִיאle/ha/VIto bringלֶחֶםLE/chembreadוָיָיִןva/YA/yinand wineוַיְצַוvay/TSAVand he commandedאֶת־הַקָּהָלet-hak/ka/HALthe multitudeלָשֶׁבֶתla/SHE/vetthat they should sit downעַל־הָאָרֶץ׃al-ha/A/retsupon the earth

   And while they were gone for bread and wine, he commanded the multitude that they should sit themselves down upon the earth.

   And when the disciples had come with bread and wine, he took of the bread and brake and blessed it; and he gave unto the disciples and commanded that they should eat.

   And when they had eaten and were filled, he commanded that they should give unto the multitude.

   And when the multitude had eaten and were filled, he said unto the disciples: Behold there shall one be ordained among you, and to him will I give power that he shall break bread and bless it and give it unto the people of my church, unto all those who shall believe and be baptized in my name.

   And this shall ye always observe to do, even as I have done, even as I have broken bread and blessed it and given it unto you.

   וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisתַּעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou shall doלְזִכְרוֹןle/zikh/RONin remembranceגְּוִיָּתִיge/viy/ya/TIof my bodyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהֶרְאֵיתִיher/e/TII showedלָכֶםla/KHEMyouוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beלְעֵדוּתle/e/DUTas a testimonyלָאָבla/AVunto the Fatherכִּיkithatזוֹכְרִיםzokh/RIMrememberאַתֶּםat/TEMyouאוֹתִיo/TImeתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysוְאִם־תִּזְכְּרוּנִיve/IM-tiz/ke/ru/NIand if you remember meתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beרוּחִיRu/CHImy Spiritעִמָּכֶם׃im/ma/KHEMwith you

   And this shall ye do in remembrance of my body, which I have shown unto you. And it shall be a testimony unto the Father that ye do always remember me. And if ye do always remember me ye shall have my Spirit to be with you.

   And it came to pass that when he said these words, he commanded his disciples that they should take of the wine of the cup and drink of it, and that they should also give unto the multitude that they might drink of it.

   And it came to pass that they did so, and did drink of it and were filled; and they gave unto the multitude, and they did drink, and they were filled.

    And when the disciples had done this, Jesus said unto them: Blessed are ye for this thing which ye have done, for this is fulfilling my commandments, and this doth witness unto the Father that ye are willing to do that which I have commanded you.

    וְכֹהve/KHOand thusתַּעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou shall doתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysלַשָּׁבִיםlash/sha/VIMunto those who repentוְלַנִּטְבָּלִיםve/lan/nit/ba/LIMand are baptizedבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameוַעֲשִׂיתֶםva/a/si/TEMand you shall doזֹאתzotthisלְזִכְרוֹןle/zikh/RONin remembranceדָּמִיda/MIof my bloodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichשָׁפַכְתִּיsha/FAKH/tiI shedבַּעַדְכֶםba/ad/KHEMfor youלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתָּעִידוּta/i/DUyou may witnessלָאָבla/AVunto the Fatherכִּיkithatזוֹכְרִיםzokh/RIMrememberאַתֶּםat/TEMyouאוֹתִיo/TImeתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysוְאִם־תִּזְכְּרוּנִיve/IM-tiz/ke/ru/NIand if you remember meתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beרוּחִיRu/CHImy Spiritעִמָּכֶם׃im/ma/KHEMwith you

    And this shall ye always do to those who repent and are baptized in my name; and ye shall do it in remembrance of my blood, which I have shed for you, that ye may witness unto the Father that ye do always remember me. And if ye do always remember me ye shall have my Spirit to be with you.

12. 12

    וְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdנוֹתֵןno/TENgiveאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youמִצְוָהmits/VAcommandmentלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוְאִם־תַּעֲשׂוּםve/IM-ta/a/SUMand if you shall do themתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysבְּרוּכִיםbe/ru/KHIMblessedאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areכִּיkiforבְנוּיִיםve/nu/YIMbuiltאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areעַל־צוּרִי׃al-tsu/RIupon my rock

    And I give unto you a commandment that ye shall do these things. And if ye shall always do these things blessed are ye, for ye are built upon my rock.

    וְכׇל־אֲשֶׁרve/KHOL-a/SHERbut whosoיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SEshall doיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreאוֹoorמְעָטme/ATlessמֵאֵלֶּהme/EL/lethan theseלֹאlonotבָנוּיva/NUYbuiltעַל־צוּרִיal-tsu/RIupon my rockכִּי־אִםki-imbutעַל־יְסוֹדal-ye/SODupon a foundationהַחוֹלha/CHOLof sandוְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand whenיֵרֵדye/REDdescendsהַגֶּשֶׁםhag/GE/shemthe rainוְיָבֹאוּve/ya/VO/uand comeהַשְּׁטָפוֹתhash/she/ta/FOTthe floodsוִינַשְּׁבוּvi/nash/she/VUand blowהָרוּחוֹתha/ru/CHOTthe windsוְיַכּוּve/yak/KUand beatבָםvamupon themוְנָפְלוּve/na/fe/LUand they shall fallוְשַׁעֲרֵיve/sha/a/REand the gatesשְׁאוֹלshe/OLof hellפְּתוּחִיםpe/tu/CHIMare openלְקַבְּלָם׃le/kab/be/LAMto receive them

    But whoso among you shall do more or less than these are not built upon my rock, but are built upon a sandy foundation; and when the rain descends, and the floods come, and the winds blow, and beat upon them, they shall fall, and the gates of hell are ready open to receive them.

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeבְּרוּכִיםbe/ru/KHIMblessedאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areאִם־תִּשְׁמְרוּim-tish/me/RUif you shall keepאֶת־מִצְוֹתַיet-mits/vo/TAYmy commandmentsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוַּנִיtsiv/VA/nicommanded meהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherלָתֵתla/TETto giveלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

    Therefore blessed are ye if ye shall keep my commandments, which the Father hath commanded me that I should give unto you.

15. 15

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youשִׁמְרוּshim/RUwatchוְהִתְפַּלְלוּve/hit/pal/LUand prayתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysפֶּן־יְנַסֶּהpen-ye/nas/SElest temptאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouהַשָּׂטָןhas/sa/TANthe devilוְיוֹלִיכְכֶםve/yo/li/khe/KHEMand he lead youשְׁבִי׃she/VIaway captive

    Verily, verily, I say unto you, ye must watch and pray always, lest ye be tempted by the devil, and ye be led away captive by him.

16. 16

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand asהִתְפַּלַּלְתִּיhit/pal/lal/TII prayedבְּתוֹכְכֶםbe/tokh/KHEMamong youכֵּןkeneven soתִּתְפַּלְלוּtit/pal/LUshall you prayבַּעֲדָתִיba/a/da/TIin my churchבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midstעַמִּיam/MIof my peopleהַשָּׁבִיםhash/sha/VIMthat repentוְהַנִּטְבָּלִיםve/han/nit/ba/LIMand are baptizedבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIהָאוֹרha/ORam the lightשַׂמְתִּיSAM/tiI setלָכֶםla/KHEMfor youמוֹפֵת׃mo/FETan example

    And as I have prayed among you even so shall ye pray in my church, among my people who do repent and are baptized in my name. Behold I am the light; I have set an example for you.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenדִּבֶּרdib/BERspokeיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאֶל־תַּלְמִידָיוel-tal/mi/DAYVunto his disciplesוַיִּפֶןvay/YI/fenand he turnedשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainאֶל־הַקָּהָלel-hak/ka/HALunto the multitudeוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶם׃a/le/HEMunto them

    And it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words unto his disciples, he turned again unto the multitude and said unto them:

18. 18

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָמֵןa/MENverilyאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youשִׁמְרוּshim/RUwatchוְהִתְפַּלְלוּve/hit/pal/LUand prayתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysפֶּן־תָּבֹאוּpen-ta/VO/ulest you enterבְמַסָּהve/mas/SAinto temptationכִּיkiforהַשָּׂטָןHas/sa/TANSatanחָפֵץcha/FETSdesiresבָּכֶםba/KHEMto have youלִזְרוֹתְכֶםliz/rot/KHEMthat he may sift youכַּחִטִּים׃ka/chit/TIMas wheat

    Behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, ye must watch and pray always lest ye enter into temptation; for Satan desireth to have you, that he may sift you as wheat.

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִתְפַּלְלוּhit/pal/LUpray youתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherבִּשְׁמִי׃bish/MIin my name

    Therefore ye must always pray unto the Father in my name;

20. 20

    וְכׇל־אֲשֶׁרve/KHOL-a/SHERand whatsoeverתִּשְׁאֲלוּtish/a/LUyou shall askמֵאֵתme/ETofהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיָשָׁרya/SHARis rightבְּהַאֲמִינְכֶםbe/ha/a/mi/ne/KHEMbelievingכִּיkithatתְקַבְּלוּte/kab/be/LUyou shall receiveהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdיִנָּתֵןyin/na/TENshall be givenלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

    And whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, which is right, believing that ye shall receive, behold it shall be given unto you.

21. 21

    הִתְפַּלְלוּhit/pal/LUpray youבְּמִשְׁפְּחוֹתֵיכֶםbe/mish/pe/cho/te/KHEMin your familiesאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיְבֹרְכוּye/vor/KHUmay be blessedנְשֵׁיכֶםne/she/KHEMyour wivesוּבְנֵיכֶם׃u/ve/ne/KHEMand your children

    Pray in your families unto the Father, always in my name, that your wives and your children may be blessed.

22. 22

    וְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdתִּתְקַבְּצוּtit/kab/be/TSUyou shall meetיַחְדָּוyach/DAVtogetherתָּמִידta/MIDoftוְלֹאve/LOand notתִמְנְעוּtim/ne/Uyou shall forbidאִישׁishany manמִבּוֹאmib/BOfrom comingאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMunto youבְּהִקָּבֶצְכֶםbe/hik/ka/vets/KHEMwhen you shall meetיַחְדָּוyach/DAVtogetherכִּי־אִםki-imbutתִּתְּנוּtit/te/NUyou shall sufferלָהֶםla/HEMthemלָבוֹאla/VOto comeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMunto youוְלֹאve/LOand notתִמְנָעוּם׃tim/na/UMyou shall forbid them

    And behold, ye shall meet together oft; and ye shall not forbid any man from coming unto you when ye shall meet together, but suffer them that they may come unto you and forbid them not;

23. 23

    אַךְakhbutהִתְפַּלְלוּhit/pal/LUpray youבַּעֲדָםba/a/DAMfor themוְלֹאve/LOand notתְגָרְשׁוּםte/ga/re/SHUMyou shall cast them outוְאִםve/IMand ifיָבֹאוּya/VO/uthey comeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMunto youתָּמִידta/MIDoftוְהִתְפַּלַּלְתֶּםve/hit/pal/lal/TEMand you shall prayבַּעֲדָםba/a/DAMfor themאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherבִּשְׁמִי׃bish/MIin my name

    But ye shall pray for them, and shall not cast them out; and if it so be that they come unto you oft ye shall pray for them unto the Father, in my name.

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהָרִימוּha/RI/muhold upאוֹרְכֶםor/KHEMyour lightלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיָאִירya/IRit may shineלָעוֹלָםla/o/LAMto the worldהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIהָאוֹרha/ORam the lightאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתָּרִימוּta/RI/muyou shall hold upהוּאhuit isאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat whichרְאִיתֶםre/i/TEMyou sawאוֹתִיo/TImeעֹשֶׂהo/SEdoהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdרְאִיתֶםre/i/TEMyou seeכִּיkithatהִתְפַּלַּלְתִּיhit/pal/lal/TII prayedאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherוְכֻלְּכֶםve/khul/le/KHEMand you allעֵדִים׃e/DIMare witnesses

    Therefore, hold up your light that it may shine unto the world. Behold I am the light which ye shall hold up—that which ye have seen me do. Behold ye see that I have prayed unto the Father, and ye all have witnessed.

    וּרְאִיתֶםu/re/i/TEMand you seeכִּיkithatצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tiI commandedלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TInot toלֶכֶתLE/khetgo awayאִישׁishany manמִכֶּםmik/KEMof youכִּי־אִםki-imbut ratherצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/ticommandedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouלָבוֹאla/VOto comeאֵלַיe/LAYunto meלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתָּחוּשׁוּta/chu/SHUyou might feelוְתִרְאוּve/tir/Uand seeכֵּןkeneven soתַּעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou shall doלָעוֹלָםla/o/LAMunto the worldוְכׇל־הַמֵּפֵרve/KHOL-ham/me/FERand whoso breaksאֶת־הַמִּצְוָהet-ham/mits/VAthe commandmentהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisנוֹתֵןno/TENsuffersאֶת־נַפְשׁוֹet-naf/SHOhimselfלְהִנָּסוֹת׃le/hin/na/SOTto be led into temptation

    And ye see that I have commanded that none of you should go away, but rather have commanded that ye should come unto me, that ye might feel and see; even so shall ye do unto the world; and whosoever breaketh this commandment suffereth himself to be led into temptation.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenדִּבֶּרdib/BERspokeיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוַיִּשָּׂאvay/yis/SAand he turnedעֵינָיוe/NAYVhis eyesשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainאֶל־הַתַּלְמִידִיםel-hat/tal/mi/DIMupon the disciplesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomבָּחַרba/CHARhe choseוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶם׃a/le/HEMunto them

    And now it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words, he turned his eyes again upon the disciples whom he had chosen, and said unto them:

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָמֵןa/MENverilyאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youנֹתֵןno/TENgiveאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youמִצְוָהmits/VAcommandmentאַחֶרֶתa/CHE/retanotherוְאָזve/AZand thenאֵלֵךְe/LEKHI must goאֶל־אָבִיel-A/VIunto my Fatherלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatאֲשַׁלֵּםa/shal/LEMI may fulfilמִצְוֹתmits/VOTcommandmentsאֲחֵרוֹתa/che/ROTotherאֲשֶׁר־נָתַןa/SHER-na/TANwhich he gaveלִי׃lime

    Behold verily, verily, I say unto you, I give unto you another commandment, and then I must go unto my Father that I may fulfil other commandments which he hath given me.

28. 28

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdזֹאתzotthisהַמִּצְוָהham/mits/VAthe commandmentאֲשֶׁר־אֲנִיa/SHER-a/NIwhich Iנֹתֵןno/TENgiveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TInot toתִתְּנוּtit/te/NUsufferלְאִישׁle/ISHunto any oneבְּדַעְתּוֹbe/da/TOknowinglyלֶאֱכֹלle/e/KHOLto eatמִבְּשָׂרִיmib/be/sa/RIof my fleshוְלִשְׁתּוֹתve/lish/TOTand drinkמִדָּמִיmid/da/MIof my bloodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotכָרָאוּיkha/ra/UYworthilyבְּשָׁרֶתְכֶםbe/sha/ret/KHEMwhen you shall ministerאוֹתוֹ׃o/TOit

    And now behold, this is the commandment which I give unto you, that ye shall not suffer any one knowingly to partake of my flesh and blood unworthily, when ye shall minister it;

29. 29

    כִּיkiforכׇל־הָאֹכֵלkhol-ha/o/KHELwhoso eatsוְהַשֹּׁתֶהve/hash/sho/TEand drinksאֶת־בְּשָׂרִיet-be/sa/RImy fleshוְדָמִיve/da/MIand my bloodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotכָרָאוּיkha/ra/UYworthilyאֹכֵלo/KHELeatsוְשֹׁתֶהve/sho/TEand drinksדִּיןdindamnationלְנַפְשׁוֹle/naf/SHOto his soulלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאִם־תֵּדְעוּim-ted/Uif you knowכִּיkithatאִישׁisha manאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nuis notרָאוּיra/UYworthyלֶאֱכֹלle/e/KHOLto eatוְלִשְׁתּוֹתve/lish/TOTand drinkמִבְּשָׂרִיmib/be/sa/RIof my fleshוּמִדָּמִיu/mid/da/MIand of my bloodוּמְנַעְתֶּםu/me/na/TEMand you shall forbidאוֹתוֹ׃o/TOhim

    For whoso eateth and drinketh my flesh and blood unworthily eateth and drinketh damnation to his soul; therefore if ye know that a man is unworthy to eat and drink of my flesh and blood ye shall forbid him.

30. 30

    אַךְakhneverthelessלֹאlonotתְגָרְשׁוּהוּte/ga/re/shu/HUyou shall cast him outמִתּוֹכְכֶםmit/tokh/KHEMfrom among youכִּי־אִםki-imbutתְּשָׁרְתוּהוּte/sha/re/tu/HUyou shall minister unto himוְהִתְפַּלַּלְתֶּםve/hit/pal/lal/TEMand shall prayבַּעֲדוֹba/a/DOfor himאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameוְאִם־יָשׁוּבve/IM-ya/SHUVand if he repentsוְנִטְבַּלve/nit/BALand is baptizedבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameאָזazthenתְּקַבְּלוּהוּte/kab/be/lu/HUyou shall receive himוּתְשָׁרְתוּהוּu/te/sha/re/tu/HUand shall minister unto himמִבְּשָׂרִיmib/be/sa/RIof my fleshוּמִדָּמִי׃u/mid/da/MIand of my blood

    Nevertheless, ye shall not cast him out from among you, but ye shall minister unto him and shall pray for him unto the Father, in my name; and if it so be that he repenteth and is baptized in my name, then shall ye receive him, and shall minister unto him of my flesh and blood.

31. 31

    וְאִם־לֹאve/IM-lobut if notיָשׁוּבya/SHUVhe repentלֹאlonotיִמָּנֶהyim/ma/NEhe shall be numberedבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midstעַמִּיam/MIof my peopleפֶּן־יַשְׁחִיתpen-yash/CHITlest he should destroyאֶת־עַמִּיet-am/MImy peopleכִּיkiforהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdיָדַעְתִּיya/DA/tiI knowאֶת־צֹאנִיet-tso/NImy sheepוּמְנוּיִיםu/me/nu/YIMand numberedהֵמָּה׃HEM/mathey are

    But if he repent not he shall not be numbered among my people, that he may not destroy my people, for behold I know my sheep, and they are numbered.

32. 32

    אַךְakhneverthelessלֹאlonotתְגָרְשׁוּהוּte/ga/re/shu/HUyou shall cast him outמִבָּתֵּיmib/bat/TEout of the housesכִנּוּסְכֶםkhin/nus/KHEMof your assemblyאוֹoorמִמְּקוֹמוֹתmim/me/ko/MOTout of the placesעֲבוֹדַתְכֶםa/vo/dat/KHEMof your worshipכִּיkiforלְאֵלֶּהle/EL/leunto suchתּוֹסִיפוּto/SI/fuyou shall continueלְשָׁרֵתle/sha/RETto ministerכִּי־לֹאki-lofor notתֵדְעוּted/Uyou knowאוּלַיu/LAYperhapsיָשׁוּבוּya/SHU/vuthey will returnוְנִחֲמוּve/ni/cha/MUand repentוְיָבֹאוּve/ya/VO/uand comeאֵלַיe/LAYunto meבְּלֵבbe/LEVwith heartשָׁלֵםsha/LEMfull purposeוְאֶרְפָּאֵםve/er/pa/EMand I will heal themוִהְיִיתֶםvih/yi/TEMand you shall beלָהֶםla/HEMunto themלִישׁוּעָה׃li/shu/Afor salvation

    Nevertheless, ye shall not cast him out of your synagogues, or your places of worship, for unto such shall ye continue to minister; for ye know not but what they will return and repent, and come unto me with full purpose of heart, and I shall heal them; and ye shall be the means of bringing salvation unto them.

33. 33

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeשִׁמְרוּshim/RUkeepאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe sayingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tiI commandedלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TIthat notתָבֹאוּta/VO/uyou comeתַחַתTA/chatunderדִּיןdincondemnationכִּיkiforאוֹיoywoלַאֲשֶׁרla/a/SHERunto him whomיְדִינֶנּוּye/di/nen/NUcondemns himהָאָב׃ha/AVthe Father

    Therefore, keep these sayings which I have commanded you that ye come not under condemnation; for wo unto him whom the Father condemneth.

34. 34

    וְנֹתֵןve/no/TENand giveאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youאֶת־הַמִּצְוֹתet-ham/mits/VOTthe commandmentsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseבַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURbecause ofהָרִיבוֹתha/ri/VOTthe disputationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהָיוּha/YUhave beenבֵּינֵיכֶםbe/ne/KHEMamong youוּבְרוּכִיםu/ve/ru/KHIMand blessedאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areאִם־אֵיןim-enif you have noרִיבוֹתri/VOTdisputationsבֵּינֵיכֶם׃be/ne/KHEMamong you

    And I give you these commandments because of the disputations which have been among you. And blessed are ye if ye have no disputations among you.

35. 35

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהוֹלֵךְho/LEKHgoאֲנִיa/NIIאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherכִּי־טוֹבki-tovfor it is expedientלִיlifor meלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto goאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherלְמַעַנְכֶם׃le/ma/an/KHEMfor your sakes

    And now I go unto the Father, because it is expedient that I should go unto the Father for your sakes.

36. 36

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכְּכַלּוֹתke/khal/LOTwhen made an endיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusלְדַבֵּרle/dab/BERto speakאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe sayingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוַיִּגַּעvay/yig/GAand he touchedבְּיָדוֹbe/ya/DOwith his handבַּתַּלְמִידִיםbat/tal/mi/DIMthe disciplesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomבָּחַרba/CHARhe choseאֶחָדe/CHADoneאֶחָדe/CHADoneעַד־אֲשֶׁרad-a/SHEReven untilנָגַעna/GAhe touchedבְּכֻלָּםbe/khul/LAMthem allוַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themבְּנׇגְעוֹbe/nog/Oas he touchedבָּם׃bamthem

    And it came to pass that when Jesus had made an end of these sayings, he touched with his hand the disciples whom he had chosen, one by one, even until he had touched them all, and spake unto them as he touched them.

37. 37

    וְהַקָּהָלve/hak/ka/HALand the multitudeלֹא־שָׁמְעוּlo-sha/me/Uheard notאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe wordsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichדִּבֵּרdib/BERhe spokeלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeלֹאlonotהֵעִידוּhe/I/dudid they bear recordאַךְakhbutהַתַּלְמִידִיםhat/tal/mi/DIMthe disciplesהֵעִידוּhe/I/dubare recordכִּי־נָתַןki-na/TANthat he gaveלָהֶםla/HEMthemכֹּחַKO/achpowerלָתֵתla/TETto giveאֶת־רוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁet-RU/ach-hak/KO/deshthe Holy Ghostוְאַרְאֶהve/ar/Eand I will showלָכֶםla/KHEMyouאַחֲרֵי־כֵןa/cha/RE-khenhereafterכִּיkithatאֱמֶתe/METtrueהָעֵדוּתha/e/DUTthe recordהַזֹּאת׃haz/ZOTthis

    And the multitude heard not the words which he spake, therefore they did not bear record; but the disciples bare record that he gave them power to give the Holy Ghost. And I will show unto you hereafter that this record is true.

38. 38

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenנָגַעna/GAtouchedבְּכֻלָּםbe/khul/LAMthem allוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOthere cameעָנָןa/NANa cloudוַיְכַסvay/KHASand overshadowedאֶת־הַקָּהָלet-hak/ka/HALthe multitudeוְלֹאve/LOand notיָכְלוּya/khe/LUcouldלִרְאוֹתlir/OTto seeאֶת־יֵשׁוּעַ׃et-Ye/SHU/aJesus

    And it came to pass that when Jesus had touched them all, there came a cloud and overshadowed the multitude that they could not see Jesus.

39. 39

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedבְּהִתְכַּסּוֹתָםbe/hit/kas/so/TAMwhile they were overshadowedוַיֵּלֶךְvay/YE/lekhand he departedמֵאִתָּםme/it/TAMfrom themוַיַּעַלvay/YA/aland ascendedהַשָּׁמָיְמָהhash/sha/MAY/mainto heavenוַיִּרְאוּvay/yir/Uand sawהַתַּלְמִידִיםhat/tal/mi/DIMthe disciplesוַיָּעִידוּvay/ya/I/duand testifiedכִּיkithatעָלָהa/LAhe ascendedשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainהַשָּׁמָיְמָה׃hash/sha/MAY/mainto heaven

    And while they were overshadowed he departed from them, and ascended into heaven. And the disciples saw and did bear record that he ascended again into heaven.
