   Behold, now it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words he looked round about again on the multitude, and he said unto them: Behold, my time is at hand.

   I perceive that ye are weak, that ye cannot understand all my words which I am commanded of the Father to speak unto you at this time.

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeלְכוּle/KHUgo youלְבָתֵּיכֶםle/vat/te/KHEMunto your homesוְהָגוּve/ha/GUand ponderבַדְּבָרִיםvad/de/va/RIMupon the thingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tiI saidוְשַׁאֲלוּve/sha/a/LUand askמֵאֵתme/ETofהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתָּבִינוּta/VI/nuyou may understandוְהָכִינוּve/ha/KHI/nuand prepareאֶת־לִבְּכֶםet-lib/be/KHEMyour mindsלְמָחָרle/ma/CHARfor the morrowוְאָשׁוּבve/a/SHUVand I come againאֲלֵיכֶם׃a/le/KHEMunto you

   Therefore, go ye unto your homes, and ponder upon the things which I have said, and ask of the Father, in my name, that ye may understand, and prepare your minds for the morrow, and I come unto you again.

   וְעַתָּהve/at/TAbut nowהוֹלֵךְho/LEKHgoאֲנִיa/NIIאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherוְגַםve/GAMand alsoלְהֵרָאוֹתle/he/ra/OTto show myselfאֶל־שִׁבְטֵיel-shiv/TEunto the tribesיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELof Israelהָאֹבְדִיםha/ov/DIMwhich are lostכִּי־לֹאki-lofor notאָבְדוּa/ve/DUthey are lostלָאָבla/AVunto the Fatherכִּיkiforיָדַעya/DAhe knowsאָנָהA/nawhitherהוֹלִיכָם׃ho/li/KHAMhe took them

   But now I go unto the Father, and also to show myself unto the lost tribes of Israel, for they are not lost unto the Father, for he knoweth whither he hath taken them.

   And it came to pass that when Jesus had thus spoken, he cast his eyes round about again on the multitude, and beheld they were in tears, and did look steadfastly upon him as if they would ask him to tarry a little longer with them.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdמָלְאוּma/le/Uare filledמֵעַיme/AYmy bowelsרַחֲמִיםra/cha/MIMwith compassionעֲלֵיכֶם׃a/le/KHEMtowards you

   And he said unto them: Behold, my bowels are filled with compassion towards you.

   Have ye any that are sick among you? Bring them hither. Have ye any that are lame, or blind, or halt, or maimed, or leprous, or that are withered, or that are deaf, or that are afflicted in any manner? Bring them hither and I will heal them, for I have compassion upon you; my bowels are filled with mercy.

   For I perceive that ye desire that I should show unto you what I have done unto your brethren at Jerusalem, for I see that your faith is sufficient that I should heal you.

   וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenדִּבֶּרdib/BERhe spokeכֵּןkenthusוַיֵּצְאוּvay/yets/Uand went forthכׇל־הַקָּהָלkhol-hak/ka/HALall the multitudeכְּאִישׁke/ISHas a manאֶחָדe/CHADoneעִם־חוֹלֵיהֶםim-cho/le/HEMwith their sickוּמְעֻנֵּיהֶםu/me/un/ne/HEMand their afflictedוּפִסְחֵיהֶםu/fis/che/HEMand their lameוְעִוְרֵיהֶםve/iv/re/HEMand their blindוְאִלְּמֵיהֶםve/il/le/me/HEMand their dumbוְכׇל־מְעֻנֵּיהֶםve/KHOL-me/un/ne/HEMand all their afflictedבְּכׇל־מַכְאוֹבbe/KHOL-makh/OVin any mannerוַיְרַפֵּאvay/rap/PEand he healedאֶת־כֻּלָּםet-kul/LAMevery one of themכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהוּבְאוּhuv/Uwere brought forthאֵלָיו׃e/LAYVunto him

   And it came to pass that when he had thus spoken, all the multitude, with one accord, did go forth with their sick and their afflicted, and their lame, and with their blind, and with their dumb, and with all them that were afflicted in any manner; and he did heal them every one as they were brought forth unto him.

    וַיִּפְּלוּvay/yip/pe/LUand they fellכֻלָּםkhul/LAMallלְרַגְלָיוle/rag/LAYVat his feetגַּם־הַנִּרְפָּאִיםgam-han/nir/pa/IMboth they who were healedגַּם־הַבְּרִיאִיםgam-hab/be/ri/IMand they who were wholeוַיִּשְׁתַּחֲווּvay/yish/ta/cha/VUand they worshipedלוֹloto himוְכׇל־אֲשֶׁרve/KHOL-a/SHERand as many asיָכְלוּya/khe/LUcouldלָגֶשֶׁתla/GE/shetcomeמֵרֹבme/ROVfrom the multitudeעָםamof peopleנָשְׁקוּna/she/KUkissedאֶת־רַגְלָיוet-rag/LAYVhis feetעַד־אֲשֶׁרad-a/SHERinsomuch thatרָחֲצוּra/cha/TSUthey did batheרַגְלָיוrag/LAYVhis feetבְּדִמְעוֹתֵיהֶם׃be/dim/o/te/HEMwith their tears

    And they did all, both they who had been healed and they who were whole, bow down at his feet, and did worship him; and as many as could come for the multitude did kiss his feet, insomuch that they did bathe his feet with their tears.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכִּי־צִוָּהki-tsiv/VAthat he commandedלְהָבִיאle/ha/VIto bringאֵלָיוe/LAYVunto himאֶת־טַפָּם׃et-tap/PAMtheir little children

    And it came to pass that he commanded that their little children should be brought.

    וַיָּבִיאוּvay/ya/VI/uand they broughtאֶת־טַפָּםet-tap/PAMtheir little childrenוַיַּנִּיחוּםvay/yan/ni/CHUMand set them downעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsupon the groundסְבִיבוֹתָיוse/vi/vo/TAYVround about himוַיַּעֲמֹדvay/ya/a/MODand stoodיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusבַּתָּוֶךְbat/TA/vekhin the midstוַיִּפָּנוּvay/yip/pa/NUand gave wayהַקָּהָלhak/ka/HALthe multitudeעַד־אֲשֶׁרad-a/SHERuntilהוּבְאוּhuv/Uwere broughtכֻלָּםkhul/LAMallאֵלָיו׃e/LAYVunto him

    So they brought their little children and set them down upon the ground round about him, and Jesus stood in the midst; and the multitude gave way till they had all been brought unto him.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenהוּבְאוּhuv/Uwere broughtכֻלָּםkhul/LAMallוַיַּעֲמֹדvay/ya/a/MODand stoodיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusבַּתָּוֶךְbat/TA/vekhin the midstוַיְצַוvay/TSAVand he commandedאֶת־הַקָּהָלet-hak/ka/HALthe multitudeלִכְרֹעַlikh/RO/athat they should kneel downאַרְצָה׃AR/tsaupon the ground

    And it came to pass that when they had all been brought, and Jesus stood in the midst, he commanded the multitude that they should kneel down upon the ground.

14. 14

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenכָּרְעוּka/re/Uthey had knelt downאַרְצָהAR/tsaupon the groundוַיֵּאָנַחvay/ye/A/nachand groanedיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusבְּקִרְבּוֹbe/kir/BOwithin himselfוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidאָבִיA/VImy Fatherנֶעְכַּרְתִּיne/kar/TII am troubledמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecause ofרִשְׁעַתrish/ATthe wickednessעַםamof the peopleבֵּיתbetof the houseיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELof Israel

    And it came to pass that when they had knelt upon the ground, Jesus groaned within himself, and said: Father, I am troubled because of the wickedness of the people of the house of Israel.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכְּכַלֹּתוֹke/khal/lo/TOwhen he finishedלְדַבֵּרle/dab/BERto speakאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוַיִּכְרַעvay/yikh/RAand he kneeledגַּם־הוּאgam-huhimself alsoאַרְצָהAR/tsaupon the earthוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdהִתְפַּלֵּלhit/pal/LELhe prayedאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherוְהַדְּבָרִיםve/had/de/va/RIMand the thingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהִתְפַּלֵּלhit/pal/LELhe prayedלֹא־יוּכְלוּlo-yukh/LUcannotלְהִכָּתֵבle/hik/ka/TEVbe writtenוַיָּעִידוּvay/ya/I/duand testifiedהַקָּהָלhak/ka/HALthe multitudeהַשֹּׁמְעִיםhash/shom/IMthat heardאוֹתוֹ׃o/TOhim

    And when he had said these words, he himself also knelt upon the earth; and behold he prayed unto the Father, and the things which he prayed cannot be written, and the multitude did bear record who heard him.

    וְכֹהve/KHOand after this mannerהֵעִידוּhe/I/dudo they bear recordלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingלֹאlonotרָאֲתָהra/a/TAsawעַיִןA/yinthe eyeוְלֹאve/LOneitherשָׁמְעָהsha/me/AheardאֹזֶןO/zenthe earמֵעוֹלָםme/o/LAMbeforeדְּבָרִיםde/va/RIMthingsגְּדֹלִיםge/do/LIMso greatוְנִפְלָאִיםve/nif/la/IMand marvelousכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasרָאִינוּra/I/nuwe sawוְשָׁמַעְנוּve/sha/MA/nuand heardאֶת־יֵשׁוּעַet-Ye/SHU/aJesusמְדַבֵּרme/dab/BERspeakאֶל־הָאָב׃el-Ha/AVunto the Father

    And after this manner do they bear record: The eye hath never seen, neither hath the ear heard, before, so great and marvelous things as we saw and heard Jesus speak unto the Father;

    וְלֹאve/LOand notתוּכַלtu/KHALcanלָשׁוֹןla/SHONtongueלְדַבֵּרle/dab/BERto speakוְלֹא־יוּכַלve/LO-yu/KHALneither canאִישׁishany manלִכְתֹּבlikh/TOVto writeוְלֹאve/LOneitherיוּכְלוּyukh/LUcanלִבּוֹתlib/BOTthe heartsאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMof menלְהָבִיןle/ha/VINconceiveדְּבָרִיםde/va/RIMthingsגְּדֹלִיםge/do/LIMso greatוְנִפְלָאִיםve/nif/la/IMand marvelousכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasרָאִינוּra/I/nuwe sawוְשָׁמַעְנוּve/sha/MA/nuand heardאֶת־יֵשׁוּעַet-Ye/SHU/aJesusמְדַבֵּרme/dab/BERspeakוְלֹא־יוּכַלve/LO-yu/KHALand cannotאִישׁishany oneלְהָבִיןle/ha/VINconceiveאֶת־הַשִּׂמְחָהet-has/sim/CHAthe joyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichמָלְאָהma/le/Afilledנַפְשֵׁנוּnaf/SHE/nuour soulsבְּעֵתbe/ETat the timeשָׁמַעְנוּsha/MA/nuwe heardאוֹתוֹo/TOhimמִתְפַּלֵּלmit/pal/LELprayingבַּעֲדֵנוּba/a/DE/nufor usאֶל־הָאָב׃el-Ha/AVunto the Father

    And no tongue can speak, neither can there be written by any man, neither can the hearts of men conceive so great and marvelous things as we both saw and heard Jesus speak; and no one can conceive of the joy which filled our souls at the time we heard him pray for us unto the Father.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenכִּלָּהkil/LAmade an endיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusלְהִתְפַּלֵּלle/hit/pal/LELto prayאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherוַיָּקׇםvay/YA/komand he aroseוְגָדְלָהve/ga/de/LAbut so great wasשִׂמְחַתsim/CHATthe joyהַקָּהָלhak/ka/HALof the multitudeעַד־כִּיad-kiinsomuch thatנִכְבְּשׁוּ׃nikh/be/SHUthey were overcome

    And it came to pass that when Jesus had made an end of praying unto the Father, he arose; but so great was the joy of the multitude that they were overcome.

19. 19

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themוַיְצַוֵּםvay/tsav/VEMand bade themלָקוּם׃la/KUMarise

    And it came to pass that Jesus spake unto them, and bade them arise.

20. 20

    וַיָּקוּמוּvay/ya/KU/muand they aroseמִן־הָאָרֶץmin-ha/A/retsfrom the earthוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themבְּרוּכִיםbe/ru/KHIMblessedאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areבַּעֲבוּרba/a/VURbecause ofאֱמוּנַתְכֶםe/mu/nat/KHEMyour faithוְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdמָלְאָהma/le/Ais fullשִׂמְחָתִי׃sim/cha/TImy joy

    And they arose from the earth, and he said unto them: Blessed are ye because of your faith. And now behold, my joy is full.

21. 21

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכְּכַלֹּתוֹke/khal/lo/TOwhen he finishedלְדַבֵּרle/dab/BERto speakאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוַיֵּבְךְּvay/YEVKand he weptוַיָּעִידוּvay/ya/I/duand testifiedהַקָּהָלhak/ka/HALthe multitudeוַיִּקַּחvay/yik/KACHand he tookאֶת־טַפָּםet-tap/PAMtheir little childrenאֶחָדe/CHADoneאֶחָדe/CHADoneוַיְבָרְכֵםvay/va/re/KHEMand blessed themוַיִּתְפַּלֵּלvay/yit/pal/LELand prayedאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherבַּעֲדָם׃ba/a/DAMfor them

    And when he had said these words, he wept, and the multitude bare record of it, and he took their little children, one by one, and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them.

22. 22

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenכִּלָּהkil/LAhe didזֹאתzotthisוַיֵּבְךְּvay/YEVKand he weptשֵׁנִית׃she/NITagain

    And when he had done this he wept again;

23. 23

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand he spokeאֶל־הַקָּהָלel-hak/ka/HALto the multitudeוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdטַפְּכֶם׃tap/pe/KHEMyour little ones

    And he spake unto the multitude, and said unto them: Behold your little ones.

    And as they looked to behold they cast their eyes towards heaven, and they saw the heavens open, and they saw angels descending out of heaven as it were in the midst of fire; and they came down and encircled those little ones about, and they were encircled about with fire; and the angels did minister unto them.

    וַיִּרְאוּvay/yir/Uand sawהַקָּהָלhak/ka/HALthe multitudeוַיִּשְׁמְעוּvay/yish/me/Uand heardוַיָּעִידוּvay/ya/I/duand testifiedוַיֵּדְעוּvay/yed/Uand they knowכִּיkithatאֱמֶתe/METtrueעֵדוּתָםe/du/TAMtheir recordכִּיkiforרָאוּra/Uthey sawוְשָׁמְעוּve/sha/me/Uand heardכֻּלָּםkul/LAMall of themאִישׁ־אִישׁish-ishevery manלְנַפְשׁוֹle/naf/SHOfor himselfוּמִסְפָּרָםu/mis/pa/RAMand the number of themכְּאַלְפַּיִםke/al/PA/yimabout two thousandוַחֲמֵשׁva/cha/MESHand fiveמֵאוֹתme/OThundredנֶפֶשׁNE/feshsoulsוַיִּהְיוּvay/yih/YUand they did consistאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMof menוְנָשִׁיםve/na/SHIMand womenוָטָף׃va/TAFand children

    And the multitude did see and hear and bear record; and they know that their record is true for they all of them did see and hear, every man for himself; and they were in number about two thousand and five hundred souls; and they did consist of men, women, and children.
