   In the year that king Uzziah died, I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

   Above it stood the seraphim; each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

   וְקָרָאve/ka/RAand one criedזֶהzethisאֶל־זֶהel-zeunto anotherוְאָמַרve/a/MARand saidקָדוֹשׁka/DOSHholyקָדוֹשׁka/DOSHholyקָדוֹשׁka/DOSHholyיְהוָהAdonaiis AdonaiצְבָאוֹתTse/va/OTof Hostsמְלֹאme/LOthe fullnessכׇל־הָאָרֶץkhol-ha/A/retsof all the earthכְּבוֹדוֹ׃ke/vo/DOis his glory

   And one cried unto another, and said: Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of Hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.

   וַיָּנֻעוּvay/ya/NU/uand movedאַמּוֹתam/MOTthe postsהַסִּפִּיםhas/sip/PIMof the doorמִקּוֹלmik/KOLat the voiceהַקּוֹרֵאhak/ko/REof him who criedוְהַבַּיִתve/hab/BA/yitand the houseיִמָּלֵאyim/MA/lewas filledעָשָׁן׃a/SHANwith smoke

   And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

   וָאֹמַרva/o/MARthen I saidאוֹי־לִיoy-liwo is unto meכִיkhiforנִדְמֵיתִיnid/ME/tiI am undoneכִּיkibecauseאִישׁisha manטְמֵא־שְׂפָתַיִםte/ME-se/fa/TA/yimof unclean lipsאָנֹכִיa/no/KHII amוּבְתוֹךְu/ve/TOKHand in the midstעַם־טְמֵאam-te/MEof a people of uncleanשְׂפָתַיִםse/fa/TA/yimlipsאָנֹכִיa/no/KHII amיוֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVdwellכִּיkiforאֶת־הַמֶּלֶךְet-Ham/ME/lekhthe KingיְהוָהAdonaiAdonaiצְבָאוֹתTse/va/OTof Hostsרָאוּra/Usawעֵינָי׃e/NAYmy eyes

   Then said I: Wo is unto me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips; and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Hosts.

   וַיָּעׇףvay/YA/ofthen flewאֵלַיe/LAYto meאֶחָדe/CHADoneמִן־הַשְּׂרָפִיםmin-has/se/ra/FIMof the seraphimוּבְיָדוֹu/ve/ya/DOand in his handרִצְפָּהrits/PAa live coalבְּמֶלְקַחַיִםbe/mel/ka/CHA/yimwhich he took with tongsלָקַחla/KACHtakenמֵעַלme/ALfrom uponהַמִּזְבֵּחַ׃ham/miz/BE/achthe altar

   Then flew one of the seraphim unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar;

   וַיַּגַּעvay/yag/GAand he laidעַל־פִּיal-piupon my mouthוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidהִנֵּהhin/NEloנָגַעna/GAtouchedזֶהzethisעַל־שְׂפָתֶיךָal-se/fa/TE/khaupon your lipsוְסָרve/SARand is taken awayעֲוֹנֶךָa/vo/ne/KHAyour iniquityוְחַטָּאתְךָve/chat/ta/te/KHAand your sinתְּכֻפָּר׃te/khup/PARis purged

   And he laid it upon my mouth, and said: Lo, this has touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

   וָאֶשְׁמַעva/esh/MAI heardאֶת־קוֹלet-kolthe voiceאֲדֹנָיA/do/NAYof Adonaiאֹמֵרo/MERsayingאֶת־מִיet-miwhomאֶשְׁלַחesh/LACHshall I sendוּמִיu/MIand whoיֵלֶךְ־לָנוּYE/lekh-LA/nushall go for usוָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidהִנְנִיhin/NIhere am Iשְׁלָחֵנִי׃she/la/CHE/nisend me

   Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said: Here am I; send me.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand he saidלֵךְlekhgoוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand tellלָעָםla/AMunto the peopleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisשִׁמְעוּshim/Uhear youשָׁמוֹעַsha/MO/aindeedוְלֹאve/LObut notהֵבִינוּhe/VI/nuthey understoodוּרְאוּu/re/Uand see youרָאוֹra/Oindeedוְלֹאve/LObut notיָדָעוּ׃ya/DA/uthey perceived

   And he said: Go and tell this people—Hear ye indeed, but they understood not; and see ye indeed, but they perceived not.

    הַשְׁמֵןhash/MENmake fatלֵב־הָעָםlev-ha/AMthe heart of the peopleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְאׇזְנָיוve/oz/NAYVand his earsהַכְבֵּדhakh/BEDmake heavyוְעֵינָיוve/e/NAYVand his eyesהָשַׁעha/SHAshutפֶּן־יִרְאֶהpen-yir/Elest they seeבְעֵינָיוve/e/NAYVwith their eyesוּבְאׇזְנָיוu/ve/oz/NAYVand with their earsיִשְׁמָעyish/MAhearוּלְבָבוֹu/le/va/VOand with their heartיָבִיןya/VINunderstandוָשָׁבva/SHAVand be convertedוְרָפָאve/RA/faand be healedלוֹ׃lothem

    Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes—lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted and be healed.

    וָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidעַד־מָתַיad-ma/TAYhow longאֲדֹנָיA/do/NAYAdonaiוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאִם־שָׁאוּim-sha/Ube wastedעָרִיםa/RIMthe citiesמֵאֵיןme/ENwithoutיוֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVinhabitantוּבָתִּיםu/vat/TIMand the housesמֵאֵיןme/ENwithoutאָדָםa/DAMmanוְהָאֲדָמָהve/ha/a/da/MAand the landתִּשָּׁאֶהtish/sha/Ebe utterlyשְׁמָמָה׃she/ma/MAdesolate

    Then said I: Lord, how long? And he said: Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate;

12. 12

    וְרִחַקve/ri/CHAKand removed far awayיְהוָהAdonaiAdonaiאֶת־הָאָדָםet-ha/a/DAMmenכִּי־תִהְיֶהki-tih/YEfor there shall beעֲזוּבָהa/zu/VAa forsakingגְדוֹלָהge/do/LAgreatבְּקֶרֶבbe/KE/revin the midstהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsof the land

    And the Lord have removed men far away, for there shall be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

13. 13

    וְעוֹדve/ODbut yetבָּהּbain itעֲשִׂרִיָּהa/si/riy/YAone tenthוְשָׁבוּve/SHA/vuand they shall returnוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand shall beלְבָעֵרle/va/EReatenכָּאֵלָהka/e/LAas a teil treeוְכָאַלּוֹןve/kha/al/LONand as an oakאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseבְּשַׁלֶּכֶתbe/shal/LE/khetwhen they cast their leavesמַצֶּבֶתmats/TSE/vetthe substanceבָּםbamis in themזֶרַעZE/rathe seedקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholyמַצַּבְתָּהּ׃mats/tsav/TAshall be the substance thereof

    But yet there shall be a tenth, and they shall return, and shall be eaten, as a teil tree, and as an oak whose substance is in them when they cast their leaves; so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.
