   The word that Isaiah, the son of Amoz, saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:

   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beבְּאַחֲרִיתbe/a/cha/RITin the lastהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMdaysנָכוֹןna/KHONestablishedיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beהַרharthe mountainבֵּית־יְהוָהbet-Adonaiof Adonai's houseבְּרֹאשׁbe/ROSHin the topהֶהָרִיםhe/ha/RIMof the mountainsוְנִשָּׂאve/nis/SAand shall be exaltedמִגְּבָעוֹתmig/ge/va/OTabove the hillsוְנָהֲרוּve/na/ha/RUand shall flowאֵלָיוe/LAYVunto itכׇּל־הַגּוֹיִם׃kol-hag/go/YIMall nations

   And it shall come to pass in the last days, when the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it.

   וְהָלְכוּve/ha/le/KHUand shall goעַמִּיםam/MIMpeoplesרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyוְאָמְרוּve/a/me/RUand sayלְכוּle/KHUcomeוְנַעֲלֶהve/na/a/LEand let us go upאֶל־הַר־יְהֹוָהel-Har-Adonaito the mountain of Adonaiאֶל־בֵּיתel-betto the houseאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEof the GodיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVof Jacobוְיֹרֵנוּve/yo/RE/nuand He will teach usמִדְּרָכָיוmid/de/ra/KHAYVof His waysוְנֵלְכָהve/nel/KHAand we will walkבְּאֹרְחֹתָיוbe/or/cho/TAYVin His pathsכִּיkiforמִצִּיּוֹןmits/Tsiy/YONout of Zionתֵּצֵאte/TSEshall go forthתוֹרָהTo/RAthe Lawוּדְבַר־יְהֹוָהu/De/VAR-Adonaiand the word of Adonaiמִירוּשָׁלָיִם׃mI/ru/sha/LA/yimfrom Jerusalem

   And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

   וְשָׁפַטve/sha/FATand He shall judgeבֵּיןbenamongהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsוְהוֹכִיחַve/ho/KHI/achand shall rebukeלְעַמִּיםle/am/MIMamong peoplesרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyוְכִתְּתוּve/khit/te/TUand they shall beatחַרְבוֹתָםchar/vo/TAMtheir swordsלְאִתִּיםle/it/TIMinto plowsharesוַחֲנִיתוֹתֵיהֶםva/cha/ni/to/te/HEMand their spearsלְמַזְמֵרוֹתle/maz/me/ROTinto pruning hooksלֹא־יִשָּׂאlo-yis/SAshall not lift upגוֹיgoynationאֶל־גּוֹיel-goyagainst nationחֶרֶבCHE/revswordוְלֹא־יִלְמְדוּve/LO-yil/me/DUneither shall they learnעוֹדodany moreמִלְחָמָה׃mil/cha/MAwar

   And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plow-shares, and their spears into pruning-hooks—nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

   בֵּית־יַעֲקֹבbet-Ya/a/KOVO house of Jacobלְכוּle/KHUcomeוְנֵלְכָהve/nel/KHAand let us walkבְּאוֹרbe/ORin the lightיְהוָהAdonaiof AdonaiאַףafyeaבֹּאוּBO/ucomeכִּיkiforכֻלְּכֶםkhul/le/KHEMyou have allתְּעִיתֶםte/i/TEMgone astrayאִישׁishevery oneבְּדַרְכֵיbe/dar/KHEto waysרִשְׁעוֹ׃rish/Ohis wicked

   O house of Jacob, come ye and let us walk in the light of the Lord; yea, come, for ye have all gone astray, every one to his wicked ways.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeיְהוָהAdonaiO Adonaiנָטַשְׁתָּna/TASH/tayou forsookאֶת־עַמְּךָet-am/me/KHAyour peopleבֵּית־יַעֲקֹבbet-Ya/a/KOVthe house of Jacobכִּיkibecauseמָלְאוּma/le/Uthey are replenishedמִקֶּדֶםmik/KE/demfrom the eastוְשֹׁמְעִיםve/shom/IMand hearkenאֶל־עֹנְנִיםel-on/NIMunto soothsayersכַּפְּלִשְׁתִּיםkap/Pe/lish/TIMlike the Philistinesוּבְיַלְדֵיu/ve/yal/DEand in the childrenנׇכְרִיםnokh/RIMof strangersיַשְׂפִּיקוּ׃yas/PI/kuplease themselves

   Therefore, O Lord, thou hast forsaken thy people, the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and hearken unto soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.

   וַתִּמָּלֵאvat/tim/ma/LEand was filledאַרְצוֹar/TSOtheir landכֶּסֶףKE/sefsilverוְזָהָבve/za/HAVand goldוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noקֵצֶהKE/tseendלְאֹצְרֹתָיוle/ots/ro/TAYVof their treasuresוַתִּמָּלֵאvat/tim/ma/LEand was filledאַרְצוֹar/TSOtheir landסוּסִיםsu/SIMhorsesוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noקֵצֶהKE/tseendלְמַרְכְּבֹתָיו׃le/mar/ke/vo/TAYVof their chariots

   Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots.

   וַתִּמָּלֵאvat/tim/ma/LEand was filledאַרְצוֹar/TSOtheir landאֱלִילִיםe/li/LIMidolsלְמַעֲשֵׂהle/ma/a/SEthe workיָדָיוya/DAYVof his handsיִשְׁתַּחֲווּyish/ta/cha/VUthey worshipלַאֲשֶׁרla/a/SHERthat whichעָשׂוּa/SUmadeאֶצְבְּעֹתָיו׃ets/be/o/TAYVhis fingers

   Their land is also full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.

   וְלֹא־יִשַּׁחve/LO-yish/SHACHand bows not downאָדָםa/DAMthe mean manוְלֹא־יִשְׁפַּלve/LO-yish/PALand humbles himself notאִישׁishthe great manעַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeאַל־תִּשָּׂאal-tis/SAforgive notלוֹ׃lohim

   And the mean man boweth not down, and the great man humbleth himself not, therefore, forgive him not.

    הָרְשָׁעִיםha/re/sha/IMO you wickedבֹּאוּBO/uenterבַצּוּרvats/TSURinto the rockוְהִטָּמְנוּve/hit/ta/me/NUand hide youבֶעָפָרve/a/FARin the dustכִּיkiforפַחַדFA/chadthe fearיְהוָהAdonaiof Adonaiוּכְבוֹדu/khe/VODand the gloryגְּאוֹנוֹge/o/NOof his majestyיַכֶּכָּה׃yak/KEK/kashall smite you

    O ye wicked ones, enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for the fear of the Lord and the glory of his majesty shall smite thee.

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beעֵינֵיe/NEthe looksגַבְהוּתgav/HUTof loftyאָדָםa/DAMmanשָׁפֵלsha/FELshall be humbledוְשַׁחve/SHACHand shall be bowed downרוּםrumthe haughtinessאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMof menוְנִשְׂגַּבve/nis/GAVand shall be exaltedיְהוָהAdonaiAdonaiלְבַדּוֹle/vad/DOaloneבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin the dayהַהוּא׃ha/HUthat

    And it shall come to pass that the lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

    כִּיkiforיוֹםyomthe dayלַיהוָהla-Adonaiof AdonaiצְבָאוֹתTse/va/OTof Hostsבָּאbacomesמְהֵרָהme/he/RAsoonעַלaluponכׇּל־הַגּוֹיִםkol-hag/go/YIMall nationsאַףafyeaעַלaluponכׇּל־אֶחָדkol-e/CHADevery oneאַףafyeaעַלaluponהַגֵּאֶהhag/ge/Ethe proudוְהָרָםve/ha/RAMand the loftyוְעַלve/ALand uponכׇּל־נִשָּׂאkol-nis/SAevery one lifted upוְשָׁפֵל׃ve/sha/FELand he shall be brought low

    For the day of the Lord of Hosts soon cometh upon all nations, yea, upon every one; yea, upon the proud and lofty, and upon every one who is lifted up, and he shall be brought low.

13. 13

    וְאַףve/AFyea andיוֹםyomthe dayיְהוָהAdonaiof Adonaiיָבוֹאya/VOshall comeעַלaluponכׇּל־אַרְזֵיkol-ar/ZEall the cedarsהַלְּבָנוֹןhal/Le/va/NONof Lebanonכִּיkiforרָמִיםra/MIMhighהֵםhemthey areוְנִשָּׂאִיםve/nis/sa/IMand lifted upוְעַלve/ALand uponכׇּל־אַלּוֹנֵיkol-al/lo/NEall the oaksהַבָּשָׁן׃hab/Ba/SHANof Bashan

    Yea, and the day of the Lord shall come upon all the cedars of Lebanon, for they are high and lifted up; and upon all the oaks of Bashan;

14. 14

    וְעַלve/ALand uponכׇּל־הֶהָרִיםkol-he/ha/RIMall the mountainsהָרָמִיםha/ra/MIMthe highוְעַלve/ALand uponכׇּל־הַגְּבָעוֹתkol-hag/ge/va/OTall the hillsהַנִּשָּׂאוֹתhan/nis/sa/OTthe lifted upוְעַלve/ALand uponכׇּל־הַגּוֹיִםkol-hag/go/YIMall the nationsהַנִּשָּׂאִיםhan/nis/sa/IMthe lifted upוְעַלve/ALand uponכׇּל־עָם׃kol-amevery people

    And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills, and upon all the nations which are lifted up, and upon every people;

15. 15

    וְעַלve/ALand uponכׇּל־מִגְדָּלkol-mig/DALevery towerגָּבֹהַּga/VO/ahhighוְעַלve/ALand uponכׇּל־חוֹמָהkol-cho/MAevery wallבְצוּרָה׃ve/tsu/RAfenced

    And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall;

16. 16

    וְעַלve/ALand uponכׇּל־אֳנִיּוֹתkol-o/niy/YOTall the shipsהַיָּםhay/YAMof the seaוְעַלve/ALand uponכׇּל־אֳנִיּוֹתkol-o/niy/YOTall the shipsתַּרְשִׁישׁTar/SHISHof Tarshishוְעַלve/ALand uponכׇּל־שְׂכִיּוֹתkol-se/khiy/YOTall the picturesהַחֶמְדָּה׃ha/chem/DApleasant

    And upon all the ships of the sea, and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.

17. 17

    וְשַׁחve/SHACHand bowed downגַּבְהוּתgav/HUTthe loftinessהָאָדָםha/a/DAMof manוְשָׁפֵלve/sha/FELand made lowרוּםrumthe haughtinessאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMof menוְנִשְׂגַּבve/nis/GAVand exaltedיְהוָהAdonaiAdonaiלְבַדּוֹle/vad/DOaloneבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin the dayהַהוּא׃ha/HUthat

    And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low; and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

18. 18

    וְהָאֱלִילִיםve/ha/e/li/LIMand the idolsכָּלִילka/LILutterlyיַחֲלֹף׃ya/cha/LOFhe shall abolish

    And the idols he shall utterly abolish.

19. 19

    וּבָאוּu/VA/uand they shall goבִּמְעָרוֹתbim/a/ROTinto the holesצֻרִיםtsu/RIMof the rocksוּבִמְחִלּוֹתu/vim/chil/LOTand into the cavesעָפָרa/FARof the earthכִּיkiforפַחַדFA/chadthe fearיְהוָהAdonaiof Adonaiיָבוֹאya/VOshall comeעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMupon themוּכְבוֹדu/khe/VODand the gloryגְּאוֹנוֹge/o/NOof his majestyיַכֵּםyak/KEMshall smite themבְּקוּמוֹbe/ku/MOwhen he arisesלַעֲרֹץla/a/ROTSto shake terriblyהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

    And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for the fear of the Lord shall come upon them and the glory of his majesty shall smite them, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

20. 20

    בַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatיַשְׁלִיךְyash/LIKHshall cast awayהָאָדָםha/a/DAMa manאֶת־אֱלִילֵיet-e/li/LEthe idolsכַסְפּוֹkhas/POof his silverוְאֶת־אֱלִילֵיve/ET-e/li/LEand the idolsזְהָבוֹze/ha/VOof his goldאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichעָשָׂה־לּוֹa/SA-lomade for himselfלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹתle/hish/ta/cha/VOTto worshipלַחְפֹּרlach/PORto the diggersפֵּרוֹתpe/ROTof holesוְלָעֲטַלֵּפִים׃ve/la/a/tal/le/FIMand to the bats

    In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which he hath made for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

21. 21

    לָבוֹאla/VOto goבְּנִקְרוֹתbe/nik/ROTinto the cleftsהַצֻּרִיםhats/tsu/RIMof the rocksוּבִסְעִפֵיu/vis/i/FEand into the topsהַסְּלָעִיםhas/se/la/IMof the ragged rocksכִּיkiforפַחַדFA/chadthe fearיְהוָהAdonaiof Adonaiיָבוֹאya/VOshall comeעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMupon themוַהֲדַרva/ha/DARand the majestyכְּבוֹדוֹke/vo/DOof his gloryיַכֵּםyak/KEMshall smite themבְּקוּמוֹbe/ku/MOwhen he arisesלַעֲרֹץla/a/ROTSto shake terriblyהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

    To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for the fear of the Lord shall come upon them and the majesty of his glory shall smite them, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

    חִדְלוּchid/LUcease youלָכֶםla/KHEMyouמִן־הָאָדָםmin-ha/a/DAMfrom manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseנְשָׁמָהne/sha/MAbreathבְּאַפּוֹbe/ap/POis in his nostrilsכִּי־בַמֶּהki-vam/MEfor whereinנֶחְשָׁבnech/SHAVis to be accountedהוּא׃huis he

    Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for wherein is he to be accounted of?
